Our true home.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.

MY REAL HOUSEHOLD
Dhamma Talks To An Old Person Coming Soon
Now, please make a sincere heart to listen to the Dharma. While he was preaching, he listened attentively to his words just as the Buddha himself was sitting in front of him. Close your eyes and keep your body at ease, resting your mind at one point. In order to pay homage to the Omniscient Omniscience, take it easy to let the Triple Gem's wisdom, truth and pure state go straight in and settle down in your particular mind.
Today, he did not bring any specific gifts, only the Dharma and the teachings of the Buddha. Listen attentively. He should be aware that even though the Buddha himself - with the great treasure of virtue that he has accumulated for countless lifetimes - still cannot avoid the death of the physical body. When old age came, he did not cling to the body but let go, putting down the burden. Now, too, he must also study a satisfactory lesson with how many years he has spent depending on this body. You should really feel that much is enough.
He can compare this body to the household appliances that he has bought for a long time - cups, forks, bowls, bowls, etc. When freshly bought, it is clean and shiny. But until now, after a long time of using it has begun to spoil the old. One was broken, another was lost, lost, and the rest was slowly decaying, it didn't have a regular stable shape, and so was its nature. Her body also seemed like that - always changing from the moment she was born into life and through adolescence and adolescence, even to this day that she was old, it was constantly changing. Specifically must accept this. The Buddha taught that smuggled objects [1], whether they belong to the physical body, exist due to conditions in the causal state, or oil on the outside, caused by conditions outside which create conditions, are infinite. fall. Its nature is always changing. Visualize this truth until he sees it so clearly.
It is the mass of decaying meat that lies here is the true Dharma (saccadhamma), which is truth. The truth of this body is Dharma, and it is the immutable teaching of the Guru. The Buddha taught us to look at this body, to reflect and meditate until we fully grasp its true nature. We must be able to live peacefully with this body, no matter what state it is in. The Buddha taught us to make sure that only the physical body is imprisoned, and that the mind is not imprisoned with it. Now the body begins to decline and deteriorate with time. Don't resist, but don't let your mind wreak havoc with it. Separate, keep your mind separate. Enhance mind power by realizing the reality of things. The Blessed One taught that it is the nature of the body, there is no other way: who was born must go gradually to old age, sickness and death. This is the eternal truth that specifically is experienced in the present moment money. Specifically look at yourself with this wisdom and realize this truth.
If Uncle's house is swept away by the flood, or burned down by fire, no matter the threat of floods or fires, let the house worry. Those dangers are only related to the house. If there is flooding, do not let it flood and attract the mind. If there is a fire, do not let it burn the mind. The house is an outside thing, Let it be drawn to the floodwaters, or become ash in the fire. Let the mind let go, not clinging to the house. Time has matured.
He has lived for quite a long time. Specific eyes have seen many shapes and colors, specific ears have heard many sounds, Specific experience has much. And that's all - just experience. He ate a lot of delicious food, and the sweet things were just the sweetness. Nothing more. Bitter tastes are just bitter flavors. Just like that. If Specific eyes see beautiful images, it is just beautiful images. All of that only. So is an ugly form. Just ugly form. Headphones mellow melodic songs and it is just that, nothing more. A shrill noise was just that simple.
The Buddha taught that rich or poor, young or old, people or animals, there are no beings in this world who can keep themselves intact in any state for a long time. All have to change and become something else. It is the reality of life that we cannot find any way to save. However, the Buddha taught that what we can do is contemplate the body to see its egoless characteristic, to realize that both body and mind are neither "I" nor " My ". It only exists temporarily. Like this house, it is only specific in the name specific. He couldn't take it anywhere with him. In the same way, the property of his career, his relatives, all are only that of Nam in the name, in words, not really of him. It belongs to nature. This truth does not apply exclusively to particular Instruments. Everyone has the same fate, even His Exalted Lord and His Saints. Is it different that they accept that it is the nature of things; They see that the natural way of things is. No other way.
So the Buddha taught us to contemplate and meticulously examine this body from the soles of the feet to the top of the head, and from the top of the head back to the soles of the feet. Try to look. What do you see specifically? Is there something pure in itself? This whole body is steadily moving toward disintegration, and the Buddha taught us that it does not belong to us. Of course, this body must be so, because all phenomena of smuggling have a nature to transform. What else can we do? Indeed, the nature of the body is so there is nothing wrong. Not the body makes us suffer. When specific things must look wrong, then naturally must be confused.
Like water in a river, naturally flows from high to low, never from low to high. That is its nature. If the other person standing on the banks of the river sees the water flowing from above and frantically wishes that the water must flow back up the steep slope, then of course, he must be disappointed and miserable. No matter what he did, his wrong way of thinking did not allow his mind to be peaceful, peaceful, and peaceful. He was unsatisfied because his opinion was wrong, and he contemplated upstream. If he had a righteous view, he would see that the natural water had to flow from above to low, and even until he realized and accepted this situation, he would still be confused and sad.
The river's water must flow from a high slope to a low slope, just like Cu's body. Once upon a time young. Old man becomes old, and is now winding towards death. Do not wish it to be any other way. It is not something specific that has the ability or power to cure. The Buddha taught us to be discerning about the way of things and then let go, not clinging to it. Specifically should take the feeling of letting go as a refuge.
Please continue to meditate, even if he feels tired and exhausted. Let the mind rest on the breath. Take a few deep breaths and tie your mind to it. When breathing in, recite silently, "Bud", exhale, recite silently, "Dho" [2]. Practice that practice. The more he feels exhausted, the more he should try to focus more subtly, thereby adapting to the developing state of suffering. When he just started to listen, he stopped all thoughts and concentrated firmly understanding the breath. Always chant "Bud-Dho, Bud-Dho", while watching the breath.
Let go, ignoring all that is outside. Do not try to cling to thoughts about your children or relatives. Do not cling to anything, whatever. Let go. Let the mind concentrate on a single point and use that abiding mind to watch the breath. Just know the breath. The breath is the only object of the mind. Other than breathing, there is no other known. Concentrate on such thoughts until the mind becomes more and more subtle, the feeling becomes insignificant, and as long as He will see the inner mind becomes awakened and extremely clear. Then, when the feeling of suffering arises, it will gradually disappear. Finally, he will see the breath like a relative came to visit.
When the relative leaves, we take the door to take a walk and watch until he or she walks or drives away before we go back into the house. I follow my breath the same way. If the breath is rough, one understands that it is gross. If it is subtle, one understands that it is subtle. As it becomes more and more subtle, one keeps on following, the mind is always awake. At one point the breath seems to disappear, and all that is left is a feeling of awakening. That is called meeting the Buddha. We have a clear awareness in the state of awakening called "Buddho", who knows, who is awake, who is lucid lucid. It is to meet and to dwell with the Buddha, with wisdom and enlightenment. Because only the historical Buddha entered the Parinibbàna, the Buddha was made of flesh and skin. And the true Buddha, the omniscient Buddha,
So let go, put down all, all ... except awareness. Do not be entranced by images or sounds that arise during your meditation. Put it all down. Do not hold on to anything. Just dwell in that state of awakening. Do not worry about the past or the future, just stay still and specific will reach where there is no progress, no more rotten, and no longer stopped, where there is nothing to cling to or cling to. Why? Because there is no self, there is no "I" or "My". All are left behind, lost. The Buddha taught us to, in this way, make ourselves empty, have nothing, carry nothing. Know, and know, let go.
Enlightenment of the Dharma (Dhamma), the path of liberation from constant samsara, is a work that we all must do alone, each for our own. So please try to let go of and fully absorb the teachings of the guru, truly contemplating. Don't worry about your family. In the present, their descendants are like that, and in the future they will be like Specific. No one in this world can avoid this fate. The Buddha taught us to put down all that does not contain substance. If put down all, Specific will see the truth. If not, will not see. It is so, and it is so for everyone. Therefore, specifics should not worry or cling to anything.
Even if he finds himself thinking, it is good as long as he thinks clearly. Do not think crazy. If He thinks of missing children, remember with wisdom. Do not think crazy to remember. Regardless of which the mind is directed, Specifically should think and understand it with wisdom, lucid awareness of its nature. If he knows with intelligence, he will let go and he will not suffer, his mind will be clear, happy and peaceful, not stirred, not dispersed. Right now, the specific thing that he can come to rely on for support and support is his breath.
That is the work of Specific Tools, not of others. Let others do their work. He has his duties and responsibilities and cannot hold on to anyone else's job in the family. Do not spend anyone's work, but let go. This letting go will make the mind become quiet. The only specific task of the current instrument is to gather the mind and bring it to rest in a quiet state. Everything else, let others worry. Colors, sounds, smells, flavors - let others worry. Leave everything behind and do your job. Whatever arises in the mind, whether it is fear of pain, fear of death, concern for the person or anything else, Specifically say to him, "Do not disturb me! You are no longer a merit." my job too. " He kept saying that to himself, when the dhammas started.
What does the term "dhamma", dhamma, contact function mean? All are dharma. There is no chi which is not dharma, dhamma. And what is "the world"? The world is the state of mind that is making particular agitation in the present. "What will this person do?" When we die, who will take care of them? How will they manage? All that is just "the world". Even though the mere arising of an idea of fear of death, or fear of pain, is the world. Throw away the world! The world is like that. If he lets it arise in the mind and gradually invades the subconscious mind, the mind will become overshadowed and not see itself. Therefore, whatever he finds in his mind, he insists, "This is not my job. It is impermanent, miserable, and non-self."
Thinking that he wants to continue living more long will make him suffer. But think that specific want to die immediately, or soon to die, it is not right. It also made specific suffering, is not it, sir? The illegal property is not in our possession. It must proceed according to its laws of nature. About the way that this body must be like He could not do anything. You can make it a little more beautiful, or make it look more appealing and clean for a while, like girls wearing makeup, wearing lipstick, and long nails. , but when old age comes, all people have the same boat, a fate. This is the body. He could not do anything else. But what he can improve, make more beautiful, is the mind of specific.
Anyone can build a house, made of wood or bricks, but the Buddha taught that the type of house is not really mine, but only mine. It is a house in the world, and it must follow the ways of the world. "Our true home" is a state of inner tranquility. A physical house on the outside may be beautiful, but it's not very peaceful. It is the cause of this anxiety after anxiety, from anxiety to anxiety and anxiety. Therefore we say that it is not our true home. It's outside of us, and sooner or later we have to leave. It is not a place where we can live forever in it, because it doesn't really belong to us but is part of the world. So is our body. We accept ego, "I" and "Mine", but that is not the case. It is another house of the world. The specific body has changed according to its natural progression from birth to the present day, old and sick, and specifically cannot prevent it from changing, because of its nature. Wanting it to be different is as crazy as wanting a duck to look like a chicken. When he realized that this was not possible, the duck had to be a duck, the chicken had to be a chicken, and this body had to grow old and die. No matter how much I want the body to continue to exist, it will not do so. The Buddha taught: When he realized that this was not possible, the duck had to be a duck, the chicken had to be a chicken, and this body had to grow old and die. No matter how much I want the body to continue to exist, it will not do so. The Buddha taught: Realizing that this was not possible, the duck had to be a duck, the chicken had to be a chicken, and this body had to grow old and die. No matter how much I want the body to continue to exist, it will not do so. The Buddha taught:
"Anicca vata sankhàra
Uppàdavayadhammino
Uppajjitvà nirujjhanti
Tesam vùpasamo sukho."
"The things made up of impermanence
Must be born and then destroyed, Having arisen
is destroying -
Stopping it is happiness."
The term "sankhàra", translated here, is composed of objects, or illegal things - which means that this body and mind - are impermanent, unsustainable, unstable, newly formed. instant disappear, birth and death. Even so, everyone wants it often. That is crazy. Look at the breath. Moving in and out, that's its nature, it must be. The breath in and the breath out must be alternated, breathing in and out, exhaling and breathing in, there must be a change. The constituent objects, sankhàras, exist due to change, specifically cannot prevent this. Just think the following: Is it possible to breathe in without breathing out? If you breathe out but don't breathe in, does that sound comfortable? Or is it possible to just breathe in and not exhale? "We want that thing to be permanent, but it cannot last long. It can not be. Once the breath goes in, it has to come back, when it comes out it has to come back in, and that's natural. Is that true, sir? Having been born, we must grow old, get sick, then die. This is completely natural and usual. This is because the created things do its part. Because of the regular in and out breaths, mankind exists to this day.
Just when we were born, we died. Our birth and death are just one. Just like a tree, when it has roots, it has branches and leaves. There are branches and leaves that have roots. Specifically can't have this without that. Europe is also strange! Everyone is deeply saddened and deeply disappointed, sad and crying deeply about the death of a loved one, and everyone is delighted and joyful to welcome a baby born. That is an illusion. Nobody ever saw clearly. He thought that if we really wanted to cry, it would be better to cry when someone was born. Because in fact, birth is death, death is birth, the root is the leaf, the leaf is the root. If you have to cry, cry at the roots, cry at birth. Please look back to the wall: If there is no birth, there is no death. Do you understand that?
Specifics should not bother thinking too much. Just think, "This is the way of things. The nature of things is." That is the work, is the specific task. Right now no one can help him, nothing his family and career assets can do for him. All that can help him in the present is just a state of awareness, awareness, and righteousness. So do not hesitate. Let go, drop everything.
Although specific tools do not let go anymore, then here all are leaving specific tools, away from specific tools. Specifically can realize that reasonable? All the different components of the body gradually crept away from him. Look at his hair. When I was young, I had black hair and bushy hair, and now it's thinning. It has left Specifically. Specific eyes previously clear, clear and see far, now weak, only see blind. When parts of the body feel tired, it leaves. This body is not its home. When he was still young, his teeth were strong and strong, now he was lax, and not long ago he had dentures. Eyes, ears, nose. the tongue, all gradually leaving, because this is not its home. He cannot use sankhàra objects as his permanent residence. Specifically can only temporarily stay in it for a short time and then have to leave. Just like a tenant looks at his tiny rental home with increasingly blurry eyes. Teeth are no longer as good as they used to be, bodies are no longer robust, all are gone, leaving Specifically.
Therefore, he did not need to worry about this physical body, because it was not a real home but a temporary shelter. Born into the world, Specifically should contemplate the nature of the world. Everything here is about to vanish. Take a look at his body. Is there anything in its original form intact? Is his skin still the same? And also the specific hair, no longer the same as before, is not it? Where does it all go? That is nature, thousands of people are. When the time came, the fabricated objects silently followed its path. There is nothing in this world that we can rely on. Just an endless circuit filled with distractions and disturbances, joy, sorrow, and suffering. There is no peace and peace.
When there is no real house, we are like a tourist wandering indefinitely on the road, heading this way for a while and then turning over, stopping for a little while, then taking off again. Only when we return to our true home, no matter what we do, we feel always uncomfortable, just like someone who leaves his or her village to embark on a long journey. . Only when he returns home can he feel comfortable and comfortable.
There is no place in the world where one can find true peace. The poor are not peaceful, so are the rich. Adults are not peaceful, and children are not peaceful either. The ignorant rural people are not peaceful, and the broad learners are also not peaceful.
There is no peaceful and peaceful place. That is the nature of the world. People with little career assets suffer, poor people in the forest also suffer. Children, adults, the elderly, all suffer. Suffering from old age, suffering from children, suffering from wealth and suffering from poverty - all is suffering.
When specific contemplation and contemplating things in this way specific will see impermanence (anicca), and unsatisfied (dukkha). Why is everything impermanent and unsatisfactory? - Because things are non-self (anattà).
Both - the specific body here, specific sickness and pain, and the mind that knows the state of illness and pain - are called dhammas, dharma. The component that has no form, such as thoughts, feelings, and perceptions, is called nāma dhamma. And that which is stung and ached is called rupa dhamma, rupa. Material is dhamma. Spirit is also dhamma. Thus, we live in dhammas, we are dhamma. In fact, no matter where there is no self. Only the Dharma does not stop being ceased. That's its nature. In every very subtle moment we arise and then fall away. That is the way of things.
Whenever we remember the Blessed One, remembering exactly how true his teachings are, we deeply appreciate that He is indeed worthy of worship, worthy of devotion, and How admirable. Every time we see the truth of what we see, His teachings, even though we have never practiced the Dharma. However, if we have knowledge of the teachings of the Buddha, have learned and practiced but have never seen the truth of things, then we are still homeless.
Therefore, please understand the key point that all people, all creation, are about to die. When we live enough of our adaptation time, we must leave, following our path. The rich, the poor, the young, the elderly, all sentient beings have to go through this transformation.
When he realized that the world was like this, he would feel that this world was really boring. When you see nothing stable or substantial that you can rely on, specific tools will feel deep tired and disappointed.
However, disappointment here does not mean sorrow or hate. The mind was clear and saw that nothing could be done to cure this situation. That's the way of the world. Understand that way, he will be able to let go of every attachment and leave everything with a calm, unhappy, unhappy mood, peace and peace with the constituted dhammas, sankhàra, because thanks to the intellect, you can see the impermanence of all things.
Anicca vata sankhàra, all compounded phenomena are impermanent. Simply put, impermanence is Buddha, Buddha. If it is clear that a phenomenon which is impermanent one will find that it is often, often in the sense, "its transformative characteristic never changes." That is the ordinary state where sentient beings are. There is a constant change from childhood, through adolescence, even to old age. It is the impermanent state of nature that must be transformed to be permanent, immutable. If looking at things with that interest, he will be calm and comfortable. Not only specifically must undergo this situation but all beings.
When commenting on such things, he will feel depressed, tired and disgusted with the things of the world and feel extremely disappointed. The state of delight in sensual sensation of the five senses will disappear. Specifically will find that if there is a lot of assets, Specific will leave a lot behind. If there are few, Specific will leave little. Money is just money, life is just life, nothing special.
The important point is that we must follow the Guru's teachings, build our own house, build the house according to the method that Teacher taught me. Let's build a house for Specific. Let go. Let go until the mind reaches a peaceful state of peace that no longer advances, no longer regains, and no longer stops standing still. Pleasure is not our home. Suffering is not our home. Both - pleasure and suffering - have to decline and distort.
The Master realized that all dharma structures (sankhàras) are impermanent. Therefore He taught us not to cling to them and let go of everything. At the end of life, we have no choice, nothing to bring. So should it be better to put it all down before that period comes? It's just a burden, why don't we throw it away right now? Why bother bothering to drag him around it all the time? Specifically let go, please relax and let the family take care of him.
Those who cultivate the sick must grow in good faith and virtue. And the patient, while helping others to have such a good opportunity, should not create difficulties for his or her fosterer. If there is pain, stinging, or any other instability, let the nurse know and always keep the mind clean. People who take care of a parent in pain should do their part with a heart full of warm and gentle love, not to be upset or upset. This is the only chance that a filial son can repay a part of his gratitude for being a nurturer and repaying his debt to his parents.
From the time of birth to the age of a child, and long along with adulthood, we always rely on our parents. We are like this today because our father and mother have helped me so hard in every way. The gratitude of the parents that we must bear in our hearts is truly immeasurable.
Today all my children and relatives gathered here to see how my parents became my children. Previously you were a child of a specific, today specific has become your child. People grow up and grow old, grow old, until they become children again. Memory is lost, eyes are no longer seen, and ears no longer hear clearly as before, sometimes speaking hum, the sound is not, not smoothly. Don't let such things bother you. To nourish the sick, you must all know how to let go without attachment. Do not cling to things, just let go and let it go its way. A child who is not obedient, sometimes parents close their eyes to be quiet, and make him happy. Your parents are like that baby now. The memory and awareness of the old instrument were fuzzy. Sometimes your name is mistaken, or sometimes you ask for a cup to give back to the plate. The situation is normal, you should not be upset, upset.
Let the patient recall the gentle loving attitude of the person who nurtures them and patiently endure painful feelings. Specifically try your best to try, not to distract and agitated mind, should not cause discomfort and discomfort for the caregivers. Specifically, let nurses keep their mind filled with virtue and compassion, and they should not be dissatisfied with unattractive things like cleaning the nose and sputum or urine and urine. Specifically try your best. Everyone in the family please lend a hand.
For you children in the house, the two elderly are the only parents. The Tools give you life, the Tools are your teacher, your nurse, your doctor, is everything to you. The Elders have nurtured you, taught you, shared your wealth and viewed you as the successors of the Tools - a great part of being a parent. So the Buddha taught the katannu and katavedi conduct - understanding the deep debt of gratitude, and trying to repay that deep meaning. These two qualities complement each other.
If the parents are in a weak situation, or encounter difficulties, the destiny must make every effort to care for the elderly. These are katannu-katavedi, virtues that support and preserve the world. It prevents all cracks and makes the family stable, stable and harmonious.
Today, Teacher brought Dharma to him as a gift for this specific sickness. He did not have any physical gifts to give to him. Looks like the house has enough material. So, Teacher just gave him a Dharma teaching, a gift that he could never exhaust. Received the gift, Specific can give it back to as many other people as possible, it will never be worn or damaged. Such is the nature of Truth.
He was happy to be able to give him a Dharma gift today, and hopes that it will help him gain the energy to cope with the painful state of old age. END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).WORLD VIETNAMESE  BUDDHIST ORDER=GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.25/11/2019.
