People because they do not observe carefully, so they cannot see it. Therefore, they act indiscriminately, lacking a sense of responsibility to themselves and others. And the same is why they suffer, dive in the sea of ​​confusion, guilt.

On the contrary, the Buddha is completely enlightened, has developed the law of cause and effect that governs, governs all things in this universe, so He acted wisely, benefiting himself. and sentient beings.

So we are Buddhists, we need to understand how the law of cause and effect has been promoted by the Kind Man, so that he can act in accordance with what He has done, to bring true happiness, for long. durable for me and those around me.

B. TOPIC 

I. DEFINITIONS

"Multiplication" is the cause, "Fruit" is the result. Human is the germ. The fruit is the seed, the fruit is born by that germ. Humanity is the power to act, It is the formation of that power of movement. The cause and effect are two successive states. If there is no Human, there is no Fruit; If there is no Fruit, there is no Human.

II. CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PEOPLE LAW

1. How is that so?

If we want to have oranges, we have to germinate orange seeds; If we want pea, we have to seed the bean. Never cultivate oranges, but beans, or beans, but orange. The learner of the instrument knows the herd, the literate learner is literate. In other words, multiplying the fruit is always the same type. When people change, the fruit also changes.

2. One person cannot produce fruit: The thing in this universe is a combination of many conditions. So there is no one person who can work on the result, without the help of many others. Saying that the grain of rice produces rice, it is simply said that it is easy to understand, but in fact, the grain of rice cannot produce anything, if it is left alone between the void, the air, the light of the country. , labor.

In the nucleus of the fruit, there are karmic results: It is in the present cause that there is a hybrid fruit; It is also in the present result, there has been the silhouette of the past. One thing that we call humanity, is when it has not yet transformed, forming the result we desire, waiting for. One thing that we call fruit, is when it has transformed, forming the state we expect. Each thing, therefore, can be called a cause or a result: for the past, it is a result, but for the future it is a cause. The kernels and fruits follow each other, exchanging each other like rings in a necklace.

4. The rapid and slow development of the cause and effect: The transformation from kernel to fruit, sometimes fast when slow, rather than always progressing in a homogeneous time. 
There are causes and successes that occur next to each other, successively, and the cause has just arisen. As a result, when a person hits the empty surface (the nucleus), the drum sound is immediately discovered (the result); or when the two positive and negative currents just met, the light immediately lit up. Sometimes the cause has been caused, but the fruit wait for a while, the fruit has just formed, like from the time of planting the seed, until harvesting the rice, it takes a period of at least four months.

IV. PEOPLE OF SPIRITUALITY  

1. Causality of thought and bad behavior: 

- Taking:  Seeing people's money, being greedy for stealing, or killing people who are human; being beaten or stabbed by the owner, disabled, or imprisoned by the authorities in the examination, subject to torture, suffering is the result.

- Yard:  People are too angry, beating their wives and children, sabotaging their houses, slaughtering people without haste is human; When all the anguish and pain are gone, see the sick wife and children, the houses dissipate, the law of punishment, suffer many sufferings and sufferings.

- Si mam:  The passionate person of sex, the will of the alley, without knowing the good or the bad, the left and right; making the family shatter, the body is weak, the gloomy mind is the result.

- Doubt:  Lifelong to doubt this and other things, anyone who does not believe anything, who does nothing does not follow, that is human; The end does not do anything, until death, let go of those empty hands is the result.

- Pride:  Self-righteousness is the best, scorning everyone, trampling on the dignity of the people around, being human; Being hated, alienated, living a lonely life, loneliness is fruit.

- Tea alcohol addiction:  Sharing money for drinking and renting is a human being, until drunkenness, sprawling bowls, table chairs tilt down, many times when pests kill each other, do many evil things, must be fined and imprisonment is fruit.

- Enthusiastic gambling:  Seeing the money of people who want to take care of themselves, passionate all year round, all over the month following the card of the silver leaf, is the person; by the end of the latrines, the debt is tight, the previous shortage is short, the "densely" fund is the result.

2. Causality of thought and good behavior: 

As we have seen above, how thoughts of evil behavior give people dark, humiliating, suffering consequences, and beautiful thoughts and behaviors give people bright consequences. like that, glory and happiness like that.

People who are not greedy, are not bound by money, the mind is relaxed. People are not angry, they can live peacefully, their family is peaceful; those who are not deluded according to their sexuality, are respected by the family, wise and wise; people who are skeptical, have faith, are enthusiastic in their work, trusted and easily achieved by others around their lives; Non-arrogant people are loved by friends, warmly welcomed and dedicated to help when they encounter a disaster. People who do not drink alcohol or gamble are not so destitute, relatives know respectfully, love because ... These things, they don't need to say much, readers are bored. Every day around us, those scenes of human and fruit, taking place incessantly, just turn up the daily newspaper, read the news items immediately.

Generally speaking, mentally as well as materially, what people sow, they meet that thing. The French have the sentence: " Each person is the offspring of his industry ."

V. OUR BENEFITS FOR USE BY UNDERSTANDING AND APPLICATION OF THE PEOPLE LAW. 

1. The law of cause and effect avoids us superstitions, false beliefs in theology:

Once you know your life created by your karma, you are a worker who builds your life, you are a creator, but do not believe in you, where in the world can you trust? That confidence is an extremely valuable power, making people dare to operate, dare to sacrifice to do good things enthusiastically. Because of those good deeds, they know that they will be precious personalities, bringing about beautiful results.

3. The law of cause and effect makes us not discouraged or reproachful:

People who are often depressed, or reproachful, because they have wrongly placed their trust, because they have a habit of relying on others, because they are 19 outward. But when you know that you are the main motive, the main cause of all failures or successes, is anyone depressed anymore? Knowing that you are so important, you only have to worry about repairing yourself, stop sowing bad causes, so as not to reap bad fruits, to avoid creating evil breeds to avoid evil.

And people of this age are gentle, do good and good things, and still have accidents and misery, because of their previous life, they created bad things. The goodness of this life, after death, they will enjoy good results. Just like someone who is diligent in farming this year, but still lacking, is because of eating and playing last year. The diligent person this year, next year they will enjoy prosperity. Therefore, the shareholders said:

Good and evil, the first and foremost, 
Name the future. (Good or bad things have retribution, only different or sooner or later)
