A. OPENING 

Ten good karma is the root of all the good and worldly dharma.

In the two articles of "Cause and Effect" and "Reincarnation" that we have learned, we have seen it clearly: Whatever we cause, we reap that result either in the present life, or in the present life. the next life. Small cause is small, big cause is large.

If you want to be a human being, you must be a person. Human being is the keeping of the five precepts (no killing, no stealing, no adultery, no lying and no drinking). With this cause, we have the fruit in the present that everyone from our extended family to the society, cherishes and cherishes. But if we want to go one step further, we try to cultivate the tenfold kusala. With the tenfold practice, we will enjoy a peaceful life in the present and the next life, we will be reborn up to six Heaven and Earth realms, enjoying the pleasurable, peaceful scenes.

If we want to overcome the three realms of worldly existence, to witness the Tam Thang fruit (Thanh Van, Duyen Giac and Bodhisattva), we must cultivate the Four Noble Truths, the Second Noble Truths and the Six Degrees. However, if you want to practice these monks, you cannot ignore the Ten-Mastery practice. The Cross is as an important step to overcome, if you want to climb higher. It is like the most basic, solid infrastructure, to build a big castle above. For that reason, it is said that the Cross of Karma is the root of all the good and worldly dharma.

   

B. TOPIC 

I. DEFINITIONS 

"Ten good karma" is 10 good karma.

What is "karma"?

"Karma" is the Chinese language that translates from the Sanskrit word Karma. It means creating, acting. Karma can be divided into three characteristics: good, evil, or not good or bad (no sign). Protestant, according to Buddhism, means having benefit for living beings now and in the future. Data, meaning harmful to sentient beings in the present as well as in the future.

II. CHAIRS PROMOTION OF BEHAVIORS AND ENTERPRISES 

Karma is many, cannot be told. But in the middle, one can divide into ten kinds of good karma and ten kinds of karma. These types of kamma are caused by the following three places: body (work), speech (speech), Italy (thought).

1. The karma: 

The bad karma is divided as follows:

a) The karma of the Body has three:  kill, steal, lewd.

b) The bad karma of Password has four:  lying, embroidering, speaking two-dimensional tongue, speaking cruel words.

c) The karma about Italy has three things:  Greed, angry, delusion.

Plus all Body, Password, Italy, there are ten karma.

2. Good karma: 

If people do the opposite with 10 above karma, there will be 10 good karma. The ten good karma are divided as follows:

a) Three Body:  No killing, no stealing, no lust.

b) About Khau had four:  No lie, no weaving, no two-dimensional tongue, no cruel words.

c) About Italy has three:  No greed, no anger, no delusion.

III. THE MEANING AND VALUE OF THE PEOPLE'S PEOPLE 

1. No killing 

There is no more joy than the joy of being killed. There is no favor over grace that does not harm the network.

When a bird is about to be plucked, a fish is about to be trimmed, stripped, and released, then imagine how great their joy is! Birds will dance, fly, sing in the sky; fish will struggle, swim, in the middle of deep water. So clearly, escape the killing, what beings do not abruptly rejoice? So, not killing but being freed is the first wholesome career in the Ten Good Works.

Without killing and not eating beings, it does not violate the following two major offenses:

a) Murder of the future Buddhas.  Because Buddha said: "All beings are buddhas of the future"

b) Killing her children for many lives, mistaking many relatives for many lives. 

In the Bodhisattva Sutra, it is said: "All six paths of sentient beings are our relatives, our parents have died and been reborn in many lifetimes".

People who do not kill each day in the present life will expand their compassion, be a human being to cultivate into a Buddha, and be given ten good teachings, such as the Sutra of Karma, said below:

a) All sentient beings love

b) Compassion extends to all sentient beings

c) Exclude the habit of anger

d) The body is usually healthy

dd) Long service life

e) Often supported by angels

ê) Sleep well and never dream

g) Except for hatred

h) Do not fall into three evil roads

i) After death, was born in heaven.

2. No robbery 

No stealing is not taking things that are not in your possession, and people don't give them to you.

Private property is an important right. Already, life is precious, but if there is life without enough food, clothing, houses, things that are needed to provide life, then people cannot live. Therefore, everyone feels that they need to work hard, to have enough assets to ensure their current and future lives and their children. The life of the esteemed people is so. If for some reason, nefarious, people are deprived of their property, then people suffer as well as sadness as if they lost part of their lives. Money is the lifeblood, so when all the possessions are stolen, many people are frustrated and sad to give birth to sickness, sometimes to the death. Thus, whoever is willing to steal for sure!

Besides, according to the righteousness, I don't want anyone to take my own, then don't take anyone's. What I do not want people to do for me, do not suffer for me. Society only exists, when everyone respects justice.

Besides, the meaning of the meaningless, often in the front door to the back lane, quickly dissipated like whirling water, sand flowing, finally, the white hand also returned to the white hands, but also was contempt for the people, spitting, bad tiger for me and my descendants later.

On the contrary, people do not steal, always feel free to be relaxed, not afraid of the law to search, and not worry anyone resentment. A society without stealing, the house is not closed, the loss does not take, the scene of winning does not take place, the society is peaceful and peaceful:

If space steals, but makes alms alms, according to the Kinh Thien Thien, the following good practices:

a) Excess money is not robbed by the enemy, the government confiscates it, does not get flooded, burnt out and children disintegrate.

b) Trusted by many people

c) Do not be deceived, deceived.

d) Far away, they all praise their straight heart

e) The heart is peaceful, not afraid of any harm

e) When he died then was born to heaven

3. No sexual misconduct 

Depression is the cause of birth and death. It is a ghost that hinders the path of liberation. Therefore, the renunciation wants to attain the result, the path, must except the lust in the body as well as in the mind. The Sutta Pitaka says:

"If it is not a prostitute, then it is impossible to leave the ceiling of labor ".

Also at home, Buddha only prevented adultery, meaning married couples formally allowed to live in accommodation, but must have moderation, not wandering, adultery.

In the family, if the husband does not commit adultery, the wife does not wandering, the life is warm and peaceful. Therefore, the family is happy, the business is good, the career is stable, the two parties are happy, the two families are fragrant, the neighbors are satisfied, the village is very popular.

The Ten Great Tenfold Path says:

No sexual misconduct and keep the pure conduct will gain four benefits:

a) The six bases (eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body and mind) are completely integrated

b) Exclusion of all disturbing emotions

c) No one dares to violate spouses and children

d) Good reputation, people praise

4. Do not lie 

Do not lie to think how to say that, in the heart and the words are not contrary, the right thing to say, the harassment of the harassment, the yes and say yes, the thing is not said.

Some people think that lying to cheat is not harmful. In fact, that lie is still harmful, because it makes us familiar with that bad habit, and makes people around us not believe in our words, even though sometimes we tell the truth.

Lies because of fear, horror, and even more should be avoided, because it makes us accustomed to hiding sin, and refusing to correct it.

Lie to profit or brag, even more serious crime. Merchants lie very easily; and especially those who study, if they lie that they have witnessed the fruit, or attain enlightenment so that those who respect and worship them, they will be guilty of great ambiguity and fall into three evil ways.

Lie, just in case to save misery for new people and animals without committing crimes.

According to the Buddhist Scriptures, people who do not lie and speak righteously, are entitled to the following benefits:

a) Mouth often smells good

b) The world and the people, the gods are loved

c) Words that are not misleading and fun

d) Intellect won, no one more

d) To enjoy the pleasure as the wish and the three karma are clean.

5. Do not speak embroidery 

Not speaking embroidering, meaning not elaborating words, not embroidering flowers, weaving brocade, not sweet honey sugar, to wander the hearts of people, to seduce doing wrong things. Those who say the words of weaving are those who have unrighteous hearts, taking advantage of the trust of the people to profit. These people are often ridiculed, despised and shunned by people in the world, so as not to be harmed to property, prestige or life.

According to the Buddhist scriptures, people who do not speak the words of embroidery will have three benefits:

a) Be loved by intellectuals

b) Or answering difficult questions

c) Be a person of mighty virtue, noble in the realms of heaven.

6. Do not speak two-dimensional tongue

Not speaking two-dimensional tongue, or speaking two tongues, meaning not coming to this side and talking bad about the other side, not going to the other party talking badly about this side; Neither bring the story of this person detrimental, nor do they provoke the other person to mock; neither make the two sides angry, nor stand in the middle to cause aversion to the two enmity. In short, the person who does not say two tongues is someone who has no malice, does not use the opposite words to make close friends into enemies, near the city far.

He did not speak two tongues, never had a problem with relatives, nor did he have troubles with the neighbors, so he was close to his relatives, who was far away from the beloved. He did not say two tongues but also said the words in harmony, making friends more respectful, more people believe in love, making everyone happy with each other. Everywhere they go, they will be treated kindly, and if they encounter problems, they can arrange them easily.

According to the Tenfold Path, people who do not speak two tongues will enjoy the following benefits:

a) Relatives and families are always reunited

b) The friendship of good knowledge is steadily undermined

c) Faith is indestructible

d) Dharma practices are indestructible.

7. Don't say cruel words 

Not to say cruelty is not to say cruel, cruel, cruel, offensive words to listeners; don't scold people making people ashamed, hurt, etc.

He does not speak cruel words, never bragging about one's bad deeds, but on the contrary, likes to show the good things of others. Their words utterly gentle, elegant, gentle, full of moral and compassionate words, benefiting all sentient beings, who also hear joy and respect.

According to the Cross of Goodwill, people who do not speak cruel words but do moderate things receive merit as follows:

a) Every word is smart, logical and helpful

b) Say something, everyone obeys and believes

c) No one criticizes any words but also loves them.

8. No desire 

In life, there are 5 sensual pleasures, which people most desire are: money, beauty, fame, eating, sleeping. Five ceiling sex, that is, actually, less fun but much suffering. Like taking part in money to torment one's body, sometimes even using nefarious means to seize himself, and when he dies, he is extremely miserable. Devotion is costly, loss of health and mental loss; many times find bad schemes to satisfy desire; If not, it would be jealous, hateful, killing. Greed and fame, right to the right, then have to go in to bow, work hard mind, loss of appetite, sleep, sometimes even make fun for people around. Gluttony and delicacy, many diseases were difficult to treat, the body was tired, life was not long. Join sleep, sleep early in the afternoon, the brain turns dull and dark.

The five sensual pleasures are the main causes of human attachment to samsara, reincarnation, and degeneration.

The one who does not desire those things, is the one who knows how to practice the Minorities and Tri Tuc. Minority is want less; Tri Tuc is enough to know. Minorities and Tri Tuc have a simple, noble and safe life.

If society consists only of these people, then tragedies: the strong oppress the weak, the rich oppress the poor, the poor resent the rich, no longer continues, and the world also lives in peace. peacefulness.

According to the Cross of Goodwill, the person who does not desire is accomplishing the following good things:

a) Three karma (body, speech, and mind) are free, because the bases are sufficient

b) Wealth is not lost or stolen

c) Blessedness is free

d) Good things come to me, even though I don't wish them to.

9. Not angry 

No anger is still keeping calm, calm, mellow before scenes of contradiction.

Anger is a very harmful evil, it is like a fierce fire, burning both oneself and people around. Buddhist scriptures say:

“ A single angry thought arose, then hundreds and thousands of karma doors were opened. A fire emitted an angry phen, immediately burned all forest merit .

Confucianism also said:

“ Stressing your anger for a while does not save a hundred days of fear. So spend the good, the fast, the worth is worth. If not fastidious, the small thing turned out. How much disturbing things, are due to fasting that out .

According to the Cross of Goodwill, whoever is not angry is entitled to eight dharmas, happy as follows:

a) No mental suffering

b) Do not get angry

c) Not mind scrambling

d) The mind is peaceful and upright

d) Compassionate mind like Buddha

e) Often doing peaceful benefits for sentient beings

E) The body is solemn, beings are revered

g) Having patience, being born quickly to the Brahma realm.

10. No delusion. 

Not ignorant is a good judgment, clearly, rightly, not stubbornly according to his own understanding, not believing unjustifiable theories, especially not superstitious.

People who are not ignorant, ie those who have wisdom, simplify, believe in the cause of reincarnation, should not create a sin but keep doing merit, usually cultivate the Prajñā virtue, eliminate ignorance, to progress on the path of liberation. .

According to the Cross of Goodwill, the person who is not ignorant, achieves the following 10 dharmas of merit:

a) Be happy and happy and you are good

b) In-depth and bad news, it is better to leave the body and not to do evil.

c) Only taking refuge in the Buddha, not taking refuge in angels and pagans

d) The mind is upright, right view

d) Being born in heaven, from falling into three evil ways

e) Blessings are not measured, often increase forever

ê) End of the evil road, cultivating the right path

g) Not content to accept ego, abandon all negative karma

h) Yen stay in the right view

i) No longer suffering from evil.

C. CONCLUSION

Ten good karma, as well as ten evil deeds, are caused by body, speech and mind. Bad karma such as grass, good karma like rice, all grow on the same field. Grass often obstructs rice, not giving good growth. If you want good rice to satisfy the harvest, you have to remove the grass. Also, in order to get a good karma, there must be ten bad karma completely.

For every ten bad karma, every day you keep developing good karma, you will get the following four benefits:

1. Renovation of mind and body 

Human mind is often dominated by karma. The practice of ten good karma, will transform the human body and mind to become good. As if not killing and releasing birth, then evil will change into compassion, resentment will change into grace.

2. Improving the situation 

The situation as well as a great example reflects all the gestures of action and life of each person. If we laugh, the mirror smiles back; If we cry, the mirror also cries. Also, if we do good deeds, help others, save sentient beings, then the situation for us will become a good realm. For example, when we are not angry, cultivating our patience, the situation does not have the fight to kill, but only the mutual affection.

3. Righteous human nature 

Cultivation of the Ten Thousand Buddhas is to cultivate a good cause so that the afterlife of beautiful results is born in heaven, full of bliss.

4. Basic Buddhist results 

Ten directions three generations, the sages of liberation from samsara, the supreme result, are taking ten good karma as the basis; Because of these ten good karma, there are merits to prevent cruel acts, make the three karmas (body, speech, and mind) be pure, whereby, the person who has just escaped from birth and death, attains Nirvana. If you bring these ten good karma, dedicate to all sentient beings, you will receive Buddhahood.

In short, from the 10 principles of good karma, in the present life, our body and mind are beautifully improved, our circumstances are bright and joyful; and in the future we avoid falling away from the three maps, enjoying the blessings of the realms of Humanity, Heavenly Nirvana.
