After witnessing the four sufferings - birth, old age, sickness, death - of man, Prince Siddhartha realized that all the material possessions that His Royal Highness possessed were just like dreams and shadow. He realizes that the body and life do not belong to anyone, because no one can answer the two essential questions in life: when death comes and how one will die. Prince Siddhartha clearly saw the unavoidable consequences of impermanence. Thus, he was strongly motivated by the desire to renounce the secular and to overcome the ignorant mind.
One night, Queen Yasodhima had nightmares, all her jewels and her throne were smashed, both the sun and the moon were in the north instead of rotating in the sky as usual. This dreadful dream and alarming signal made her awake in the middle of the night. She woke up to the sleeping Prince next to tell about the nightmare has just passed. Prince reassured her, "Dreams in samsara are always fantasy and not real. At this moment, her nightmare can not bring anything back, because we have a lot of good dreams. " He added, "I have dreamed of a giant tree covering the whole world from my navel. I lay down on Mount Meru, and each of my hands reached two glittering rivers, like the jewels of the East and the North, and their legs stretched out to the vast ocean in the South.
The gods help the Prince leave the palace
Later, when the guards and maidens were asleep, Thich Thien Vuong and the gods were on earth to help Prince Siddhartha leave the palace. They quietly awakened Sanna, the horse keeper, took the horse and was ready to wait outside the palace. Thich Thien Vuong and four guardian deities lifted the Crown Prince with Sanna and Kiattrak on the sky. They circled the palace, the city and beyond, praying for everyone's approval and saying goodbye to them as they left.
A few moments later, Sakyanama, a prince's close friend, awoke with a glimpse of a light in the sky and thought it was the moon. But when he rubbed his eyes again, he realized that it was not the moon that Prince Siddhartha was on the path of renouncing his religion. He begged the Prince to stay and cried out loudly: "Please do not give up the royal life, do not give up thousands of concubines and royal families, and above all, please do not break the dream of the sub His King. "
Prince Siddhartha looked back for a moment and replied to Shakyanama: "Wang questions family and relatives as if tying him with steel wire. If not cut off at this time, clinging to the comforts and pleasures of the world will bind us forever. Clinging to the family as well as poison snakes wrapped around the head, then the snake itself killed. Or like going into a burning cave after eating poisonous fruit. It is better to stay out of the forest, find a wine that is full of enlightenment ».
The next morning, Shakyanama narrates Prince Siddhartha's words to his father, the Sultan, and the Queen and relatives of the Royal Family. All the Royal families are shocked. Everyone was crying, stunned by suffering and sorrow. The whole palace covered in grief and despair.
Prince Siddhartha traveled twelve miles from Kapilavastu to the east, toward the Chorten Namdagdrung, where a thousand Buddha of this Bridegroom would come to cut off his hair and dissolve all worldly attachment. When he came to the tree next to a stupa, the prince dropped down. He was very happy to be here, he removed all the monsters and jewelry with full smile. Then, with the right hand of the sword, the left hand holding the hair, He cut off his black hair. When He threw his curls into the sky, Thich Thien Vuong captured and carried all his hair into the heavenly realm as the mascot. To commemorate this holy place, people in the area with Thich Thien Vuong, then built the second Chedi here, inside the stupa also preserved some relics such as Crown Prince and hair Prince.
Sanan's entourage mourned when he saw the prince cut his hair and took off the king. Sanna could not speak, two tears rolled down his cheeks like crystal pearls. Kien Trac horse mourning the same sadness, both sad crying when the Crown Prince dressed up the medical costume was donated by Thich Thien Vuong, to become a pure life monk. The Prince felt very comfortable, he comforted Sanna, "You should not be sad and weep like that. Instead, take the Bridegroom and all my jewelry to the palace, and give it to my daughter, Yasodhara and my father. "Sanna and Kien Trac were deeply saddened and merciful. The two reluctantly returned to the palace, mournful as if life, heart and soul were all empty. Both took seven days to reach the palace to Kapilavastu.

Sanna and horse Kien Trac
As he approached the palace, Sanna thought, "How can I face Queen Yasodhara and King Sri Soudhothana? It is better to leave Kien Trac alone to return to the palace. Think of it, Sanna down the horse, drop harness to Kien Trac to find their way home. When the horse entered the city, all the royal members and the people in the kingdom saw the saddles emptied without the rider, they all cried as badly as the miserable souls in the place. hell. Gecko can not continue to walk. With grief, Kien Tac stood still at the gate and cried, while the royal stood around.
I do not believe that whatever man does, the fate remains unchanged. But we believe fate will not change, if we do not practice the transformation of karma.
