THE LAW - DAI
TWO
Dear Buddha, Arahant, the Chief of the Transfiguration!
******
V.
CHILD (CAMMAKHANDHAKA CH)
At that time, Lord Buddha dwelt in Rājagaha (Rajasthani city) on Mount Gijjhakūṭa. At that time, King Seniya Bimbisara (Magadha) ruled the kingdom by supreme rulers in eighty thousand villages. At that time, in the land of Campa, the son of the sovereign Soṇa Koḷivisa was a slim body. At the feet of the feet of that hairy hairs.
At that time, the king of Seniya Bimbisāsa of Magadha, after summoning the eighty thousand heads of the village for some task, sent his messenger to Soṇa Koḷivisa (saying):
- So please come. I want to Soai.
At that time, Soṇa Koḷivisa's parents told Soṇa Koḷivisa this:
- Soaa dear, the king wants to see your feet. Soaa dear, do not straighten your feet towards the king, sit cross legged in front of the king, the king will see your feet in sitting posture.
Then they brought Soṇa Koḷivisa away with palanquin. Later, Soṇa Koḷivisa went to see King Seniya Bimbisāra of Magadha, who came to pay homage to the king of Seniya Bimbisāra of Magadha and sat cross-legged in front of the king. At that time, King Seniya Bimbisāra of Magadha saw hair growing in the lap of Soṇa Koḷivisa. Then King Seniya Bimbisāra of Magadha explained the benefits of the present to the eighty thousand chiefs and encouraged them,
"Hey, here we have been explaining the benefits of the present. Now go and sit around the Blessed One, who will explain to us the benefits of the future.
Then, the eighty thousand village chiefs went to Gijjhakū núia Mountain.
At that time, great Venerable Sāgata was the attendant of the Blessed One. At that time, the eighty thousand village chiefs had gone to Sāgata great meritorious deity. After arriving, he told the great Venerable Sāgata this:
"Sir, the eighty thousand heads of this village come here to worship the Buddha. Sir, it would be nice if we could meet the Blessed One.
"If you are, then please stay right here for a moment, waiting for me to tell the Blessed One."
After that, the great Sāgata vanished at the level before the eighty thousand heads of that village are watching and appeared before the Buddha and told the Buddha:
- You, eighty thousand village chiefs come here to see the Buddha. Bach, now ask the Blessed One to think about the timing of that.
- Sāgata, if so, then you should arrange seats in the shade of the shelter.
- Yes, sir.
Venerable Sāgata heard that the Buddha took the chair and disappeared in front of the Blessed One and appeared at the level before the eighty thousand heads of the village were watching, then arranged seats in the shade. Of shelter. After that, the Blessed One went from the place of residence and sat down on the seat that had been set up in the shade of a shelter. At that time, the eighty thousand village chiefs went to see the Blessed One, after he had bowed to the Blessed One and sat down on one side. After that, the eighty thousand village chiefs pointed at the great Sāgata, and the Blessed One was not. At that time, the Buddha used his mind to know the thoughts of the eight thousand heads of the village, he told the great Venerable Sāgata that:
"Sāgata, if so, then you show the miracles of supernatural powers, with more forms.
- Yes, sir.
Then great virtue Sāgata listen to the Buddha went up in the air, walking back and forth in the sky, then stand back, sit down, lie down, smoke, glow, and disappear. Then, as he showed the miracle of divine supernatural powers in various forms in the sky, the great Sāgata danced on the feet of the Buddha and said to the Buddha :
- White Buddha, Buddha is my teacher, I am a disciple. White Buddha, Buddha is my teacher, I am a disciple.
At that time, eighty thousand village chiefs (think): " Wonderful! It is extraordinary! Because the disciples also have great power like this, the great power like this, the teacher will be more than that ! "Then the mind was directed to the Buddha, while the great virtue Sāgata is not. such.
At that time, the Blessed One after using the mind learned the thoughts of the eighty thousand village chiefs and then preached the Dharma in class. That is, he preached the doctrine of generosity, the doctrine of the precepts, the doctrine of the heavens, the damaging paralysis of the lusts, the benefits of the dispensation. When the Buddha realized that his mind was ready, flexible, free of obstacles, upright, still, he displayed the Dharma discourse opened by the Buddhas: Suffering, Exercising, Abstinence , Dao. Just like a clean, untouched cloth can be stained to the full; Similarly, at the seat of the French label is not dust dust, bare stains have been born to eighty thousand of the village chiefs: " What is the nature of being born, all that is the nature Perish . "
Later, having seen the Fa, having achieved the Fa, having understood the Fa, having absorbed the Fa, the skepticism was gone, the hesitation was resolved, the faith in the Dharma of the guru was attained. , No longer need the help of other people, they have told this world:
- White, it was wonderful! Bach, it's great! You, like a human being, can turn a covered object, open a covered object, give a path to the lost, bring a lamp in the dark (think): " Those with eyes will see the shape , "similar like that, France was Buddha specify by various means. You, Bach, we hereby take refuge in the Buddha, the Dhamma, and the Bhikkhunis. Please accept that we are male residents have been taking refuge from today until the end.
[2] Soṇa Koḷivisa put it this way: " As we understand the Dharma preached by the Buddha, it is not easy to do for a person living in the family to practice virtue. Completely full, completely clean like shaved shells, or should I shave my beard, put on my body color, leave home from home ? " Happy was pleased with the teachings of the Blessed One, the eighty thousand village chiefs had risen from the seat, bowed to the Blessed One, turned his right shoulder around, and left. Then, when eighty thousand village chiefs had left, Soṇa Koḷivisa went to the Blessed One, after having come to pay homage to the Blessed One and sit down on one side. Having sat down on one side, Soṇa Koḷivisa told the Blessed One this:
- You, as you understand the Dharma preached by the Buddha, it is not easy to do to the person who is living in the family to practice a full blessed, completely pure. Like shells are shaved clean. You, I want to shave my beard, put on my body color, leave home from home. Bach, please bhikan let me go home.
Soṇa Koḷivisa was ordained with the Blessed One and was elevated to the top.
And when he was elevated to the higher level soon, Sora lived in the forests of Sīta. While he was walking with great effort, his feet were torn. The road became full of blood as a place to kill cattle. Then, the great Venerable S trong tronga in meditation in the place where this thoughtless mind descends, has begun: " I am one of the disciples of the Blessed One who has diligent efforts, but mind We are still clinging and are not free from smuggling. Moreover, in our family there are possessions, can take advantage of the property and do good deeds; Or should we go back to the lower life and then use the property (he) and do the blessings? "Then, after using the mind to know the thought of the Siddhartha, Then, like a man with the strength to stretch his arm, which has been contracted or can be extended, the arm has been stretched. Similarly, the Buddha has disappeared in Mount Gijjhakūṭa and appears in the forest. Sīta. Later, while traveling with the many monks around the shelters, the Buddha went to the path of the great virtue of the Soṇa. The Blessed One saw the path of the great S kinha pagoda covered with blood, after seeing it said to the monks that:
"What are these monks, who are bloody like the slaughter of oxen?
- White Sister, Venerable Soaa while walking with effort effort, so the feet were torn. This bloody pathway is his, just like the slaughter of cattle.
After that, the Buddha went to the shelter of the great Venerable Soaa, after he had sat down on the seat was arranged. Venerable Soṇa paid homage to the Buddha and sat down on one side. The Buddha told the great Venerable Sola is sitting to this side:
- Soaa, are you in the meditation in the deserted thoughts such thoughts have begun: " I am one of the disciples of the Buddha lived hard effort, but Our minds still cling to and are not free from smuggling. Moreover, in our family there are possessions, can take advantage of the property and do good deeds; Or should we go back to the lower life and use the property and do the blessings ? "
- Well, that's right.
- Soaa, what do you think about this: Have you ever been a householder in the rhythm of the string in your flock? [first]
- Well, that's right.
- Soaa, what do you think about this: When the strings in your flock are stressed, is it that your lute is sound or suitable for use?
- Well, that's not true.
- Soaa, what do you think about this: When the strings in your flock are too slack, is it that your lute is sound or suitable for use?
- Well, that's not true.
- Soaa, what do you think about this: When the strings of your flock are not stressed and not too slack, put in place, right at that moment your spear Is there sound or appropriate to use?
- White, yes.
- Soaa, the same effort put forth effort to bring the disorder, the dilapidation too diligent lead to idleness. Soṇa, so here you must determine the equilibrium in the effort, to understand the balance of the indriya, and at that moment you must hold the seal.
- Yes, sir. Venerable Soaa answered the Buddha.
Later, when he taught Siddhartha the teachings, he was like a man with the strength to stretch out the arm that had been contracted or could shrink the stretched arm. Such a sacrifice in the forests of Sila Buddha was disappeared in front of the great Sora and then appear in Mount Gijjhakūṭa.
Later, the great Venerable S đã đãa determined the equilibrium in the effort, understood the balance of the indriya, and at that time seized the seal. At that time, the Venerable Soṇa separated by himself, and lived without lazy, effort, determined so soon in this present life has perceived itself, attained, and settled in victory, For the sake of this purpose, the sons of noble families leave the house of worship sincerely living homeless. He knows that "the rebirth has been exhausted, the blessed ones have lived, the work to do, no longer (bring) other ego like this again ." And among the A- La-drought has one more is the virtue Soai.
[3] Later, when he attained Siddhartha, the Siddhartha began to say this: " Or should we proclaim this realization in the presence of the Buddha ?" Then, Venerable Soaa went to see the Buddha, after he had bowed to the Buddha and sit down on one side. Having sat down on one side, Venerable Soaa said to the Blessed One:
- Bach, who Bhikkhu is Arahant, has the gonorrhea or has been exhausted, reached the finishing, what to do already, the burden has been set down, his goal has been achieved. , The bond of rebirth has been destroyed, liberated by virtue of righteous wisdom, he has accomplished six things: he has achieved renunciation, he has achieved tranquility He has achieved no harm, he has attained the cessation of clinging, he has attained the cessation of craving, he has attained non-ignorance.
Well, here one might say something great: " Can not this great virtue accomplish renunciation only by faith ?" Consider that. You, the bhikkhu have smuggled or been eliminated, reach maturity, the need to do is finished, no longer consider their own need or (consideration) to the accumulation of ) Has made, thanks to the decay of craving and selfless craving, he has achieved renunciation, thanks to the annihilation of anger and self he has no anger. Renunciation, thanks to the annihilation of ignorance and the ignorance that he has achieved renunciation.
Well, here one might say something great: " Does this great virtue fulfill tranquility while craving for goodness, glory, and glory ?" , That can not be considered like that. You, the bhikkhu have smuggled or been eliminated, reach maturity, the need to do is finished, no longer consider their own need or (consideration) to the accumulation of ) Has made, thanks to the decay of craving and selfless craving, he has attained tranquility, thanks to the annihilation of anger and self that no anger he has accomplished. Silence, thanks to the end of ignorance and self is ignorance that he achieved silence.
Well, here one might say something great: " Could this great virtue have achieved no harm while returning to the precepts and practices of the essence ?" Bach, that can not be considered like that. You, the bhikkhu have smuggled or been eliminated, reach maturity, the need to do is finished, no longer consider their own need or (consideration) to the accumulation of ) Did, thanks to the decay of craving and selfless craving, he achieved the no harm, thanks to the annihilation of anger and self he has no anger. Achievement is no longer harm, thanks to the end of ignorance and self is ignorance that he has achieved the no harm.
Thanks to the decay of craving and selfless craving, he accomplishes the decay of clinging, thanks to the annihilation of anger and self that no longer possesses the anger he has accomplished. The disappearance of clinging, thanks to the passing away of ignorance and self is no longer ignorance that he achieved the decay of clinging. Thanks to the annihilation of craving and selfless craving, he accomplishes the annihilation of craving, thanks to the annihilation of anger and self that no anger he has accomplished. The annihilation of craving, thanks to the annihilation of ignorance and self-delusion that he has attained the annihilation of craving. Thanks to the decay of craving and selfless craving, he has attained non-ignorance,
Bachman, for the bhikkhu whose mind is fully liberated, if the form (sight) is perceived by the eye, even if it is prominent, entering into the world can not invade his mind. Because his mind is no longer disturbed, unstable, immobilized, and he observes the passing away of it. [2]  If the sound (silent scenes) perceived by the ear ... the scent (exit gas) is perceived by the nose ... the tastes (landscape position) are perceived by the tongue ... The touch (scene) is perceived by the body ... the dhamma (consciousness) realized by the mind, even though it is prominent, enters into the mind, it does not conquer its mind because of the mind. It is no longer disturbed, unstable, attain immobility, and he observes the passing away of it. Bach, like a rocky mountain with no cracks, no holes, Diving a block, if a heavy rain storms come from the east also can not shake it, shake, shake. If there is a violent rainstorm coming from the west ... If there is a violent rainstorm coming from the north ... If there is a violent rainstorm coming from the south can not shake it, Shaking, shaking Similarly to a bhikkhu whose mind has been completely liberated, if the form (sight) is perceived by the eye, even if it is prominent, it also does not invade the mind. Of him because his mind is no longer disturbed, stable, attain immobility, and he observes the disappearance of that. If the sounds are perceived by the ear ... the scents are perceived by the nose ... the tastes are perceived by the tongue ... the touches (Scene) is perceived by the body.

.
Bhikkhu mind pure
location pure liberation

work do not have.
As one-volume rock
wind unshakable
too seeing, hearing, taste,
and all the incense, emotional,
legal entities like, do not like
not shake the position
center sustainability, liberation
he bars the killing.
[5] Then the Buddha told the monks that:

"If the Blessed One allows the Bhikkhunis, then I will use them; If the Buddha does not allow the Bhikkhunis, then I will not use it.

- Like festivals in Gaṅī and Mahī.
You have submitted this to the Buddha.
- Monks, do not move by car; Those who move are guilty of  dukkha  (evil).
At that time, in the land of Kosala, the monk was traveling to Sāvatthi to see the Buddha, in the middle of the road sick. At that time, the monk left the path and sat down at the base of the tree. The people saw and said to the bhikkhu this:
"Where are you going, sir?"
- Dear friends, I will go to Sāvatthi to see the Buddha.
"Come here, sir, let's go."
- Dear friends, I can not (walk). I'm sick.
- Sir, come here. Get on the car.
- Dear friends, stop it. The car was banned by the Buddha.
While hesitating, he did not climb the car.
Later, the monk went to Sāvatthi and told the story to the monks. The monks have submitted this to the Blessed One. At that time, the Blessed One who reasoned the fact that the Dharma talked and told the monks that:

At that time, the Bhikkhu Bhikkhunis (thinking): "The high place and the large place was forbidden by the Buddha " should use large skin of lion skin Tiger, leopard skin. The panels are cut to the size of the beds, they are cut to the size of the chairs, they are arranged in the inner beds, they are arranged in the outer beds, they are placed in the inner seats, They are placed in an outer seat. The people, while walking around the shelters, saw to complain, critique and denigrate:

They are placed in an outer seat. There are evil bhikkhus often frequented the wicked layman. Then in the morning, the evil bhikkhu wore his robes, carried the bowl, and went to the house of the wicked layman, after he had sat down on his seat. Later, the wicked layman went to meet the evil monk, after having celebrated the evil monk and then sat down on one side. At that time, The villain of the evil layman was small, beautiful, lovely, charming, with many colors as a baby leopard. At that time, the evil bhikkhu looked at the calf carefully. Then the evil layman told the evil bhikkhu this:
"Sir, why are you paying attention to that calf carefully?"
- Dear friend, I have something to do with this calf skin.
At that time, the villain has killed the calf, peeled the skin, and gave it to the evil monk. Then the evil bhikkhu used the two layers of cloth to cover the skin and left. At that time, the cow remembered the calf, so he followed the evil bhikkhu. The monks said like this:
- Hey, great cow, why is this cow walking behind the great virtue?
- Great virtues, I do not know why this cow is behind me anymore?
At that time, the two classes of the evil monk were stained with blood. The monks said like this:
- Hey, great thing, what happened to this yoga two layers of virtue?
At that time, that evil bhikkhu has told the story to the monks.
- Great virtue, the virtue has incited others to kill their lives?
- Great virtues, yes.
The monks less desire, ... (as above) ..., they complain, critique, denigrate that:
- Why bhikkhu bended another person to kill his life? Was not the killing of life blamed by the Blessed One in many ways and the abandonment of killing of life was praised?
After that, the monks reported it to the Blessed One.
[18] At that time, the Blessed One, on the occasion of that fact, summoned the Bhikkhu assembly and asked the evil monk,
"Bhikkhus, you heard that you have incited others to kill your life, right?
- Well, that's right.
Lord Buddha blamed that:
"You foolish fool, why are you trying to kill others?" Is not the killing of our lives reproved in many ways and the abandonment of the killing of life has been praised? This fool, this does not bring faith to those who do not have faith ... (as above) ...
After reprimanding, he preached the Dharma and said to the monks,
- Monks, do not incite others to kill your life, you should be treated in accordance with the Fa. [4] And these monks, should not use cow leather; Those who use  dukkaṭa  (evil act). And these monks, should not use any kind of skin; Those who use  dukkaṭa  (evil act).
At that time, the beds and chairs of the people were covered with leather and covered with leather. The monks hesitated not to sit up. You have submitted to the Honor.
- Bhikkhus, I allow myself to sit on the place prepared by the layman but not lying up.
At the time, the shelters were tied up with leather straps. The monks hesitated not to sit up. You have submitted to the Honor.
- Monks, I allow myself to sit on the thing tied up (by the ropes).
[19] At that time, the Bhikkhu Bhikkhus entering the village brought the slippers. People complain, criticize, denigrate:
- Like the guys at the sex appeal?
You have submitted this to the Buddha.
- Monks, do not go into the village with slippers; The person who goes in is guilty of  dukkha  (evil).
At that time, the monk was sick and could not enter the village without shoes. You have submitted this to the Buddha.
- Bhikkhus, I allow to enter the slippery village for the sick monk.
[20] At that time, Venerable Mahākaccāna lived in Avanti, in Kuraraghara, Papāta Mountain. At that time, the male layman Soṇa Kuṇṇikaṇṇa was a servant to the great Mahākaccāna. At that time, the male layman Soṇa Kuṇṇikaṇṇa went to the Great Mahākacca, after having paid homage to the Great Mahākacca and sat down on one side. Having sat down on one side, the layman Soṇa Kuṇṇikaṇṇa told Mahākaccāna:
- Dear sir, as far as I understand the Dharma preached by the Mahākacca, it is not easy for the person who is living in the family to practice the Dharma fully fully, purely as Shells are cleaned. Dear sir, I would like to shave my beard, put on colored shoes, leave home from home. Dear Sir, Mahataka Mahākaccāna let me go home.
When said so, Mahākaccañña told the layman Soṇa Kuṇṇikaṇṇa this:
- Soṇa, the hard work to do is practice the virtue, sleep alone, eat a meal until the end of life. So Sya, then right here, while being a layman you should practice the teachings of the Buddhas ie good fortune, sleep alone, eat a meal for a specified period of time.
At that time, the desire of the male layman Soṇa Kuṇṇikaṇṇa was softened.
For the second time, male layman Soṇa Kuṇṇikaṇṇa ... (as above) ...
At the third time, the male layman Soṇa Kuṇṇikaṇṇa went to meet the great Mahākaccāna, after having paid homage to the great Mahākacca and sat down on one side. Having sat down on one side, the layman Soṇa Kuṇṇikaṇṇa told Mahākaccāna:
- You, as I understand the Dharma preached by the Mahākacca, is not easy to do to the person who is living in the family to practice the Dharma fully fully, purely as Shells are cleaned. You, I want to shave my beard, put on my body color, leave home from home. Bach, he Mahatana Mahakacca let the monk.
At that time, Venerable Mahākaccāna gave the male layman Soṇa Kuṇṇikaṇṇa his ordination.
At that time, in Avanti and in the south there were few monks. At that time, Mahataka Mahākaccāna spent three years in difficult hardship, summoned the Bhikkhunī community of ten from one place to another and gave the great Sangha to the upper level. After that, when living through the rainy season, Syaoran during the meditation in this desolate place of thinking thought has begun: " I have heard that: 'That Buddha is So this is not to be seen in the face, so we should go to see the Buddha is an arahant, the Buddha Siddhasa if the teacher allows me . " In the evening, Syaoran came out of meditation and went to see the great Mahākaccana, after he came to pay homage to Mahākacca and sat down on one side. Once sat down,
- Dear sir, in the case of meditation in this quiet place of thinking thought has begun: " I have heard that: 'The Buddha is like this and so,' but I have not yet To be seen in the face, so we should go to see the Buddha is an Arahant Chanh Phuc Giac if the teacher allows me . "Sir, should I go to worship Him? An A-la-drought Chief of the Enlightenment if the teacher allowed his son?
- Soṇa, good, good. Sooya, go to see the Buddha is an Arahant chennai. Soṇa, you will see that the Blessed One is gentle, creating joy, pure sense, purity of mind, reached the highest level in tranquility and tranquility, Officers have been trained and protected. So Sya, if so then you should bow the head at the foot of the Blessed One with my words: " Lord, your teacher is the Great Mahākacca, please worship the Buddha. "Then say," Lord, Avanti, and the south have fewer bhikkhus. I spent three years in difficult hardship to convene the Bhikkhunie Assembly of ten from this place and have accomplished the upstairs ordination. Probably in Avanti and the southern area of the Blessed One should allow for the up gradation of the group (with personnel) less. In the Avanti region and southern area, the darker, solid ground, trampled by the toenail, probably in Avanti and south of the Blessed One, should allow (use) sandals. There are many layers. In Avanti and in the southern part of the people, the Virgin Mary, in Avanti and in the south of the people, took great care in bathing and being cleaned by water, perhaps in Avanti and in the south of the Blessed One, permitting regular bathing. Bach, in Avanti and southern areas of animal skin such as sheepskin, goat skin, and deer skin are lining materials. White, as in the centers in the center (the grasses) eragu, moragu, majjāru, jantu, as it is in Avanti and in the south of all kinds. Animal skin such as sheepskin, goatskin, deer skins; Perhaps in Avanti and the southern region of the Buddha should allow the type of animal skin such as sheepskin, goatskin, lambskin is lining material. Nowadays, the people present to the monks have come out of the boundary (saying): 'We give this to his name.' When they come back (the monks), they say, 'You great virtues, they have been given to the great virtues by the (names),' they hesitate to say (say 'Do not let us be guilty of nissaggiya (discharge);' Perhaps the Buddha should explain the details of the matter . " 'When they come back (the monks), they say,' You great virtues have been given to the great virtues by the (names), 'they were reluctant to accept (say) ): 'Do not let us be guilty of nissaggiya (discharge);' Perhaps the Buddha should explain the details of the matter . " 'When they come back (the monks), they say,' You are great, he has been given to the great virtues by the (names), 'they hesitated. ): 'Do not let us be guilty of nissaggiya (discharge);' Perhaps the Buddha should explain the details of the matter . "
- Yes, sir.
After listening to the Great Mahākacca, the Venerable S đãaa rose from the seat, bowed to the Great Mahākacca, turned his right shoulder around him, and settled down, holding the bowl, and headed for Sāvatthi. He went to Sāvatthi, Jetavana, Anāthapiṇḍika's monastery, met the Blessed One, after he had bowed to the Blessed One and sat down on one side. At that time, the Buddha told the great virtue of Ānanda that:
- Ānanda, set up a shelter for this bhikkhu.
At that time, Venerable Ānanda (thinking): "Concerning who the Buddha ordered us to say: 'Behold, Ānanda, set a place  for this bhikkhu'? Is the Blessed One staying in the same place with the bhikkhu? Is the Blessed One staying in the same hostel with the Sino Venerable ? "And arranged for the shelter of the great Venerable S tronga in the abode of the Blessed One.
[21] Then, having spent nearly a whole night outside, the Blessed One went to the shelter. Venerable So saua after spending most of the night outdoors also went to the shelter. Later, when he woke up at the dawn of the night, the Buddha asked the great Venerable Soaa:
- Bhikkhu, teach the Dharma that you know well.
- Yes, sir.
Soaa, according to the Buddha, according to the Blessed One, recited in full memory of the entire group of the Eight (Aṭṭhakavaggikāni). Then, at the end of reprocessing according to the memory of the great Venerable Thich Thien Hoa praised that:
- Bhikkhu, very good, good. Bhikkhu, the product Group Eight have been smart learners, smart thinking, smart memory. You have a soft voice, clear, no difficulty listening, clarification of meaning. Bhikkhu, how many years?
-Blood Buddha, I was a year.
- Bhikkhu, why are you doing so late?
- Bach, I have long seen the harm in sex, but because life at home has many obstacles, there are many tasks, there are many things to do.
Later, when he understood that, the Blessed One at that time uttered this inspirational message:
Seeing the dangers in life,
after understanding the Fa,
not passion, clinging,
the saint does not like evil,
not interested in evil,
he is clean.
[22] At that time, Venerable Soaa (thinking): " Blessed is the joy of me, this is the moment of the priest that I have carefully instructed " from the seat to get up Kneeling on the shoulders of the Buddha and kneeling on his feet at the feet of the Buddha and said to the Buddha:
My dear sir, Mahataka Mahataka, begs the head to bow at the feet of the Blessed One and says: " Lord, Avanti and the south have fewer Bhikkhus. I spent three years in difficult hardship to convene the Bhikkhunie Assembly of ten from this place and have achieved the upstairs. Probably in Avanti and the southern area of the Blessed One should allow for the up gradation of the group (with personnel) less. The Virgin, in Avanti and the southern part of the darker, solid ground, was trampled by the toenails, perhaps in Avanti and in the south of the Blessed One to allow (use) sandals. Multiple layers. In Avanti and in the southern part of the people, the Virgin Mary, in Avanti and in the south of the people, took great care in bathing and being cleaned by water, perhaps in Avanti and in the south of the Blessed One, permitting regular bathing. You, In the region of Avanti and in the south of the furs such as lambskin, goatskin, and deer skin are lining materials. White, as in the centers in the center (the grasses) eragu, moragu, majjāru, jantu, as it is in Avanti and in the south of all kinds. Animal skin such as sheepskin, goatskin, deer skins; Perhaps in Avanti and the southern region of the Buddha should allow the type of animal skin such as sheepskin, goatskin, lambskin is lining material. Nowadays, the people present to the monks have come out of the boundary (saying): 'We give this to his name.' When they come back (the monks), they say, 'You great virtues, they have been given to the great virtues by the (names),' they hesitate to say (say 'Do not let us be guilty of nissaggiya (discharge);
[23] At that time, the Blessed One who, by reason of that fact, preached the Dharma talk and said to the monks,
- Bhikkhus, Avanti and the south have few Bhikkhus. Bhikkhus, in all the countries of the border region (sabbapaccantimesu janapadesu), allow us to go up the hierarchy with the fifth rank of the vinayadharapañkamena. In this case, the countries in the border region are: In the north there is a town called Kajaṅgala, further away there is Mahāsālā, from then on the land is in the border region, back from the center. . In the south, there is a town called Setakaṇṇika, from then on the land of the border, back from the center. In the west, there is a Brahmin village called Thūna, from then on, the countries of the border region, from there onwards. In the east, there is a mountain called Usīraddhaja, from then on the land of the border, back from the center. Hey Bhikkhus,
Behold, the monks, in Avanti, and the darker, solider south side of the ground, were trampled by bullocks. In Bhikkhus, we allow (use) sandals in many layers in all the countries of the border.Monks, in Avanti and in the south of the people, consider bathing and being clean by water. Bhikkhus, I allow regular bathing in all the countries of the border. Bhikkhus, Avanti and the southern regions of the furs such as sheepskin, goat skin, and deer skin are the undergarments. The monks, as in the centers in the center (the grasses)  eragu ,  moragu ,  majjāru ,  jantu  , are similar to Bhikkhus in Avanti and in the region. Southern furs such as sheepskin, goatskin, deer skin are lining. Monks, I allow all types of animal skin such as sheepskin, goat's skins and deer skin to be used as lining in all the countries of the border region. Hey Bhikkhus, In the case of the people offering to the monks who went out of the boundary (saying): ' We give it to the name .' Monks, I allow to receive, when not to hand count not counted (stored).
The Animal Chapter is the fifth chapter.
