Seven kinds of worldly blessings.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH. Only then do we know that we only need to respect and believe in the Three Jewels, take refuge in the heart and uphold the five precepts, and we will set our first step on the Noble Path. All the merits, blessings, and saints' results come from here. “Once upon a time, the Buddha traveled to Kosara, staying in the garden of Cusala. At that time, the venerable Maha Chau-na arose from his seat, lifted his right shoulder, his right knee was close to the ground, knelt long, folded his hands, and said: World-Honored One, is it possible to establish merit in the world? The Blessed One said: "It is possible, Chau-na, to have seven kinds of merit out of the world, with great merit, great retribution, great honor, and great merit. What are seven? Chau-na, whose ethnicity is male or female who has faith, hears that the Tathagata or a disciple of the Tathagata is residing somewhere. After listening, I immediately rejoiced, very excited in my heart. Chau-na, that is the first kind of worldly blessing, of great merit, great retribution, great honor, and great merit. "Again, Chau-na, having a male or female ethnicity who has faith, hearing that the Tathagata or a disciple of the Tathagata will come from over there, listen to it and be happy, with great excitement in his heart. Chau-na, that is the second kind of merit out of the world, of great merit, great retribution, great honor, and great merit. "Again, Chau-na, having a male or female ethnicity who has faith, hearing that the Tathagata or a disciple of the Tathagata will come from over there, listen to it and be happy, with great excitement in his heart. With a pure mind, personally visit, pay respects and make offerings. After making offerings, taking the three refuges, for the Buddha, the Dharma and the bhikkhus, they received the forbidden precepts. Chau-na, that is the seventh kind of worldly blessing, of great merit, great retribution, great honor, and great merit. - Chau-na, a male or female ethnic group with faith, if one can create seven kinds of blessings in this world and have seven kinds of blessings out of the world, then the other person's blessings cannot be counted, there are so many blessings, there are so many results of merit, there are so many blessings. It can only be said that it is impossible to limit, not to be quantified, and it is impossible to know the number of great blessings…”. This Dharma talk Venerable Maha Chau-na (Mahācunda) asked the Buddha how to create seven kinds of worldly merit. The World-Honored One has taught that good men and faithful women accomplish the following good dharmas: 1. Hearing the Buddha is somewhere, born joyful; 2. Listen to the Buddha or the Bhikkhu-stilts coming to his place, born with joy; 3. With pure mind, personally visit; 4. With a pure mind, come personally to pay respects; 5. With a pure mind, come personally to make offerings; 6. After making offerings, take refuge in the Three Jewels; 7. After taking refuge, vow to uphold the five precepts. Those who do so, the Buddha asserted, are the seven kinds of merit out of the world, "with great fortune, with great retribution, with great honor, with great merit," and "the blessings of others are not so great." countable, immeasurable, immeasurable, and unknowable the number of great blessings.” Only then do we know that we only need to respect and believe in the Three Jewels, take refuge in the heart and uphold the five precepts, and we will set our first step on the Noble Path. All the merits, blessings, and saints' results come from here. Although, after taking refuge, Buddhists still live in the world but have been oriented, laying the foundation for the path and fruition of the world. From here, Buddhists who continue to practice the Eightfold Path with their assistants will be firmly on the path to enlightenment and liberation.END=NAMO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.4/6/2021.
