There are two thousand people who are friends and uneducated.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.
Of the four Holy results, the previous three are the righteous ones, the proof of the four Arahants is the uneducated one. In the Phap Hoa association, the students of the righteous and uneducated together are two thousand people. These two thousand people again signify "the cross as sight". Ten legal realms, from the realm of hell to the realm of the Buddha, each of these realms has enough of the legal realm of results and effects. They are: As visions (such as appearances), as visions, as visions, as vision, as vision, as visionaries, as visceral conditions, as results, as reports, as visas. ) save the glasses. Each like the market, turned into ten, the ten turned into a hundred, again turned into a thousand, that signifies uneducated learning two thousand people.
Bhikkhu Ni Ma Ha Ba Xa Ba De, together with his relatives six thousand people gathered. La Hau's mother Lala Bhikkhu Bhikkhu Ni Gia Du Da La, also gathered with her relatives.
Ma Ha is large. Ba Xa Ba Translation is "Ai Dao". This great Buddhist Monk, not only is the Buddha's aunt, but every Buddha is born, she acts as the Buddha's aunt, nurturing and taking care of the grown-ups. Dependent including body, friends. Great Ai Dao Bhikshu Ni with relatives of six thousand people, relatives and friends are in the Dharma Hoa assembly.
La Hau La's mother, Gia Du Da La, also ordained as a Buddha, became a disciple of the Buddha, became a Bhikkhu-nun. Bhikkhunis also have three meanings as Bhikshu is mendicant, father ghost, destroy evil. Bhikkhu Ni Gia Du Da La also with relatives in the Phap Hoa congregation.
The great Bodhisattva of eighty thousand people, all of whom are not rotten in the Noble Path of Righteousness, all attained Da La Ni in mockery of the theory of argument, turning the immovable wheel of dharma, having made offerings to countless hundreds of thousands of Buddha, in that the Buddhas cultivate the roots of merit. Often praised by the Buddhas, using words to cultivate the body, skillfully in the wisdom of the Buddha, to communicate great wisdom, to the other shore, is known throughout the infinite world, able to accommodate countless hundreds of thousands of sentient beings.
Bodhisattva is Sanskrit, enough to say is Bodhisattva. Bodhi is sensory, Slapping Da is sentient. A sentiently enlightened Bodhisattva, that is, in sentimentality the Bodhisattva is an enlightened being. He used the ethical method of enlightenment, to enlighten other sentient beings. In addition, there are two other names that are great beings of the mind, or Khai Khai. The great Bodhisattva level has the full seven elements.
1. Sufficient basic basis: The base of the Bodhisattva is infinitely vast. He sowed the root of merit, from many generations to now, has planted the root of generosity and generosity, this root of merit called the root merit. The goodness he planted was infinitely many, so it was said that he planted the roots of merit. Moreover, it is not only the root of the Buddha, the two Buddhas, the three, the four, the five Buddhas, but it is just like in the Vajrayana Sutra that says: "In the immeasurable place of hundreds of thousands of Buddhas. , as much as the sands of the Ganges, have all been cultivated with good qualities. " In front of an infinite amount of hundreds of thousands of thousands of Buddha's memories, as much as the sand of the Ganges River, all have cultivated the benign roots.
2. Enough great wisdom: He generated great bodhicitta for all sentient beings, though all over all sentient beings, but did not accept the appearance of sentient beings, which is great wisdom. In the Vajrayana Sutta has said: "A species is born of an egg, by pregnancy, by moisture, by transformation, a species with color, no materiality, an idea, an utopia, an utopia, an utopia, we all make it The cessation of immeasurable Nirvana. Such cessation is so infinite of countless sentient beings, but really no sentient being can cease. " There is not a single sentient being who is a Buddha degree, but all sentient beings are so self-centered. Meaning: however the degree of sentient beings without accepting the general level of birth. It is not like we have done a good thing, we will say: "How many monastics have I got, how many people do I get from the Buddha's faith, or is someone from me,
3. Dafa news: Dafa means that of the Mahayana. You must deeply believe in the Mahayana practice of the true form, deeply believe in cause and effect, deeply believe in the wisdom of Bat Nha. Dharma is like the sea, only belief can be entered. If you lack faith, even though the Buddha Dharma is vast, it will not be possible to level you. In the Hoa Nghiem Sutras it says:
"Belief is the source of the mother of merit,
Raising all the good roots ."
Where does healing come from? From belief comes, from born belief, so believe is the mother of all merit. The Great Bodhisattva deeply believes in all of the great Dhamma, the sublime magic, especially for this Lotus Sutra, he especially believes deeply.
We have true great faith in the Buddhadharma, we are also the great Bodhisattva. In the Vajra Sutra, it is said: "Until in a thought that gives birth to pure faith, the merit of virtue is victorious over using seven treasures of alms three thousand great world." The merit of a pure belief is like using the seven treasures to give alms to all the world, but the Tathagata fully knows this mind of you, can not make it over. Therefore, we, who learn the Dharma, must bring true beliefs in order to obtain reciprocity.
4. Understand the agent: In the United Nghiem Kinh has said: Believe, understand, practice, evidence. Therefore, to understand the agent, you must check the trust, first of all to believe, then understand, then practice, eventually attaining it. What is an agent? That is transparent all sentient beings that are Buddha, that is also: "meaning Buddha" in "six ie Buddha". Technically speaking, every sentient being is a Buddha, but it takes practice to become a Buddha. If you do not practice and just say that you are Buddha, it will not help. If you self-proclaimed king, all day long and call yourself: I am the emperor! I am the emperor! But there is no literature and martial art to protect you, no people to govern, if not, you are just an empty emperor, what is the use? So, in a sense, all sentient beings are Buddha, but they must practice to return to their roots, realize their true face. Why must it be clear that sentient beings are Buddha? Since true wisdom does not leave sentient beings' minds, it is complete in every sentient nature, so must understand the agent.
5. Tu great almond: Dai Bodhisattva diligently tu the six hundredth of thousands of happiness: Almsgiving, precepts, patience, diligence, meditation, wisdom.
A. Almsgiving: Including gifted gifts, almsgiving, fearless alms.
a. Almsgiving, there are: internal talent (head, eyes, marrow, brain), and external talent (throne, wife and children). The Bodhisattva practice is without our generals, no human generals, so the Bodhisattva abandons everything and gives alms to everyone.
b. Alms dhamma, which is lucrative sermon, for Beings that preach the Dharma. So people who learn Buddhism must learn to lecture the sermons, to lecture everyone to hear. If you know a little, then say a little, if you know a lot, you will talk a lot, depending on your understanding, to explain to the listener, that is to give the dharma, to use the dharma to give alms to educate sentient beings.
c. Fearless generosity, that is, if someone encounters an unsatisfactory situation or an accident, in mind you are afraid of harm and anxiety, at that time you comfort them, causing them to eliminate all fear, anxiety, and anxiety. be okay.
B. Precepts: Precepts have: five precepts, eight precepts, ten precepts, ten precepts of forty-eight contempt, precepts of Bhikshu and Bhikshuni precepts.
C. Patience: Is the most useful method, if you can be patient, it is like collecting treasure. There is this story I have been told before: There is a monk, practicing patiently inscribed "My character is like ash", posing at the door. The meaning of that sentence is: the taste of that taste has no fire, never gets angry. This monk, diligently attacking, day and night, his spirituality is very peaceful.
At that time, a Bodhisattva came to test his virtue. The Bodhisattva came to his door and asked, "What are these words?" Answer: "Calculated as ash." After a while, the Bodhisattva asked again: "What was that about? Because I don't remember clearly." Answer: "Calculated as ash." Just like that, he asked a few times again, at last the monk got angry, shouting loudly: "As ash! As ash! Do you hear! Did you hear! Come on disturbing the practice. mine." Bodhisattva laughed and said: "It is still burning." After saying so, the body will not disappear Do you know who this Bodhisattva is? It was Guanyin Bodhisattva who came to test him, his results were counted as ash for several decades but still on fire. Before the Bodhisattva Guanyin said, "You should continue practicing, twenty years later I will come again." Therefore,
D. Effort: Including the body diligence and the mind diligence. The body diligence is: Lord Buddha, recite the Sutra, recite the Mantra, etc. The righteous use of the work is not just pretending to be the outer surface, but the truthful use of the work by yourself, don't be in front of the masses to create and pretend. Mind diligence is always diligently cultivating morality, concentration, wisdom, eliminating greed, hatred, and delusion.
E. Meditation: For taking meditation, it is necessary to be diligent to help, with diligence, then all to be patient; have the patience to cultivate merit, take meditation into concentration. If you do not diligently, one hot and ten cold, practice for one day, rest for ten days, you will not be able to obtain meditation forever.
F. Bat Nha: Bat Nha is the most important thing, a practitioner must have wisdom. Without wisdom, it is very difficult for a practitioner to practice. People who have wisdom will always use them at any time. Seeing everything they see is wisdom, therefore: "Thuy Hoang Hoa is immaculate in Bat Nha". Meaning: Green bamboo with yellow flowers is not Bat Nha wisdom. It was like I had a disciple who said to me: "Some brothers scold me when they talk to me. Scold who? Isn't that stupid! If you have wisdom then y scold you and you do not receive this scolding, then this scold returns to him! For example, someone face up and spit, the saliva returns to their face soon, or you can watch as that person, singing, or speaking a foreign language for me, is that big will turn small, small things are no more, that is true wisdom. Don't blame yourself: He scolded me. Savior: Who am I again? The Bodhisattva has no my form, has no human form, has no sentient form, has no life-life form, so what about the ego. The monk must soon eliminate the general I am, do not let it exist there will be obstacles.
Bodhisattvas must also wipe out the three cittas: Past, present and future mind. The past mind: the past is past, so the past mind cannot be attained. The present mind: if you say now is the present, but every moment passes ceaselessly, so the present mind cannot be attained either. Future mind: the future mind has not yet come, so the future mind cannot be attained either. If you have fully understood the three unattainable minds, then there is nothing left to attach to, not all to attach, that is to attain liberation, to be truly free.
Bodhisattva has four legal regrets: giving, love language, taking advantage of and partner.
Giving: The Bodhisattva must always have a mind of giving, giving alms to all sentient beings.
Ai language: The Bodhisattva has no form of me, so for all sentient beings, there is often mercy, considering sentient beings as themselves, there is no distinction between them. The Bodhisattva freely forgives, for any sentient being, he also uses gentle and gentle words to deal with it.
Benefit: All sentient beings like benefits, so the Bodhisattva often works to benefit sentient beings.
Associate: Bodhisattva incarnates hundreds of thousands of memories, sees what body can be them, then appears that body to degrees them. When the Buddha practiced the Bodhisattva Path, because he wanted to convert a group of deer into deer bodies to teach them, that was one of his colleagues.
The Bodhisattva practice is difficult to practice, difficult to discharge, but hard to tolerate, difficult to endure, difficult to yield. Those are the conditions for the Bodhisattva's practice to have.
6. Going through the great life. One life is thirteen thousand nine thousand six hundred years. One thousand lives combined into one mini-life, twenty mini lives into one middle life, four middle lives into one great life. So how many lives must a Bodhisattva practice? Three great A Tang lives. A Tang Ky is the Sanskrit word translated as "immeasurable". So it is not easy to be a Bodhisattva, it is not easy to go through three countless great eons in time to become a great Bodhisattva.
7. Great results: What is the great effect of Bodhisattva? He prayed to the Supreme Noble Truth, that is, to become a Buddha.
So great (Ma ha slap) full of these seven meanings. In this Dharma Assembly how many great Bodhisattvas are there? There are eighty thousand people. These eighty thousand people have attained the great path of the Supreme Noble Truth of the righteousness, so this path only goes forward, so they say: All are not rotten in the path of Supreme Righteousness and righteousness.
There are three changes.
1. The real rotten: Mahayana Bodhisattva does not rot back to the second Yield.
2. Persistent recitation: The Great Bodhisattva always thinks of the Bodhisattva practice, cultivates the ten thousand virtues, reciting thoughts forward without going back, never thinking: I do not practice the Bodhisattva, but do it myself. drought! The Bodhisattva never gave rise to such an idea.
3. Non-rot: Bodhisattva diligently does not treat, only forward but not back.
"All obtained Da La Ni mockery of the theory of arguments". Da La Ni is Sanskrit, translated as "president". Total all legal, immeasurable maintenance. Also known as "value", or mantra. Da La Ni is born of good and destroys evil, covers (costs) evil, keeps (maintains) good, that is: does not do evil, does good, and means morality, at the same time, is not too much to keep the precepts. then you will preserve yourself, Da La Ni recite the Mantra, the strength of the Mantra helps you to stop evil and generate good things. Da La Ni has many things, Bodhisattvas can obtain, and even get rid of the theory of arguments, it can be said that Da La Ni obtained Da La Ni in mocking the theory of arguments.
"Turning the wheel of immortality turned". What is Dharma wheel shift? The Bodhisattva often changes the Dharma wheel, which is to change the immovable legal wheel. For example, at the moment we teach the sermons, or translate the Sutras into English, other foreign languages, or introduce the Dhamma to everyone that is to change the wheel of Dharma. All works of propagating the Dharma, are called the Dharma wheel shifting. Therefore, we are Buddhists, we must all consider the job of turning the wheel of dharma as our responsibility, bringing all our abilities to work. Moreover, now is the scientific age, with printers and typewriters, we take advantage of these tools, circulate widely translated sutras into foreign languages, giving everyone a share, that is to change the wheel of the Dharma, making the Dharma to flow without stopping, forever and ever. When I was a teenager in Northeast China, studying Buddhism soon, my favorite was to print Buddhist scriptures, print out hundreds of thousands of copies. Whenever on holidays or the birthdays of relatives and friends, I give them as gifts, causing them to give birth to inspiration for the Dharma, that is, I turn the old wheel of immoral dharma. We hope that each person fully has the ability to transmit the Buddha-dharma, making the wheel of dharma change constantly.
The great Bodhisattva makes offerings to countless Buddhas, where the buddhas' ashramas have been through countless eons, nurturing the roots of benevolent merit. You often make offerings to the Three Jewels, that is, to cultivate your own virtuous roots. Therefore, these eighty thousand great Bodhisattvas, the moment is always praised by the Buddhas: "Son of God! You practice the immortal Bodhisattva path, it's good, it's not wrong!"
The Great Bodhisattva uses the compassionate mind to teach sentient beings and cultivate his body. They skillfully obtained the wisdom of the Buddha, attained great wisdom, so they reached the other shore. If attained great wisdom, then reach the other shore (Ba La Secret). The title of these eighty thousand great Bodhisattvas, echoes throughout the infinite world, all sentient beings often hear the common recitation. In all the boundless worlds, the Bodhisattva catalyzes countless hundreds of thousands of sentient beings.
Their names are: Bodhisattva Manjushri, Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, Great Bodhisattva, Ordinary Bodhisattva, Immortal Bodhisattva, Bodhisattva, Grandmother Bodhisattva Bao Nguyet, Bodhisattva Nguyet Quang, Bodhisattva Man Nguyet, Great Bodhisattva, Powerless Bodhisattva, Viet Tam Bodhisattva, Bodhisattva Da Ba La. Bodhisattva Maitreya, Bao Tich Bodhisattva, Guru Bodhisattva, etc. such great Bodhisattvas, including eighty thousand people gathered.
Eight thousand great Bodhisattvas have eighty thousand titles. If you include them all, this set of Sutras will be too long, so only the first few great Bodhisattvas among them will be given as delegates.
Leading Bodhisattva is the Bodhisattva Van Thu. Van Thu is in Sanskrit, translated as "Dieu Duc", "Dieu Cat Tuong". This Bodhisattva is of immense wisdom and is also the oldest. In the past, he soon became a Buddha, the name of the Dragon Race of the Supreme Buddha, became a Buddha and then he hid a large or small appearance, practicing the Bodhisattva to educate sentient beings, helping the Buddha to propagate the religion. Bodhisattva Van Thu, Bodhisattva Bodhisattva, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, Jizō Bodhisattva are the four great Bodhisattvas. Bodhisattva Van Thu resides in Ngu Dai mountain, which is the ashram he often appears. His miraculous powers are unbelievable.
The Venerable Master Hu Yun once vowed to take three steps, one bowing, from Nam Hai to Pho Da mountain to Ngu Dai mountain to pray for the inspiration of the Bodhisattva Van Thu, making him also attain great wisdom. The three-step, one prostration route is about five or six thousand miles long, how long do you say it takes to finish? It is a very long time, if you want to know it in detail, please look at the book Hu Van Lao Hoa Thuong Nien Pho, or The Comic Story. In it there is a passage like this: That is, Mr. Huu Van prostrates himself to the Yellow River, when winter falls too much, he stays by the riverbank in a stall to avoid falling snow, spending a few days snow from Gradually, he became very hungry, almost dying. At that time, a beggar came, covered the stall with grass, made a fire to cook golden rice porridge, and offered it to the Venerable Master for use. After finishing the meal, when he recovered, Mr. Huu Van asked the beggar their first and last names and where did they come from. The beggar said: "Full name of Cat, from Ngu Dai, everyone knows me." After that, this beggar brought luggage for Mr. Huu Van, and Mr. Huu Van, then three steps and bowing is very convenient.
On the way, sometimes in the temple to stay, but the monk in the temple professionally despised this beggar, and scolded Mr. Huu Van: "If you make a prostration, do prostrations, why do you bring the beggar along!" Mr. Huu Van was scolded by people, and the beggar was scolded even more by the people, he did not even allow the beggar to sleep in the temple, he was kicked out of the temple. The beggar told him: "From here, not far from Ngu Dai mountain, I go ahead, you slowly come, your luggage will soon be brought up to the mountain for you. Indeed, in the middle of the road, Mr. Huu Van met a chariot driver, helping him bring his luggage to Ngu Dai mountain, while Master Hư Vân was prostrating three steps. When I arrived at Ngu Dai mountain, I asked the monks of Ngu Dai mountain, did I know a beggar named Van Cat! But when no one knew, then told a monk, the monk clasped his hands and said: "It is the reincarnation of the Bodhisattva Van Thu!" (Van is Van Thu, Cat is Dieu Cat Tuong).
He bowed to the Bodhisattva Van Thu, inspired by the Bodhisattva Van Thu to help him. He and the Bodhisattva lived together for quite a long time but did not know. As a result, he later learned that the Bodhisattva was holy, but did not realize. So, the miracle of Bodhisattva Van Thu is unthinkable. Because of His magic, he turned into a beggar. If He turned into a rich rich man or drove a horse cart to help the Venerable Master, it was also possible. But He doesn't! He also vowed to follow the Venerable Master to suffer. Therefore, that is the great wisdom of Bodhisattva Van Thundu.
The Bodhisattva Manjushri is a very special Bodhisattva, when he was born ten auspicious things arose, unlike other Bodhisattvas. Bodhisattva Van Thu is a great wisdom. Someone will ask: "So what is the difference between Venerable Bodhisattva Van Thu and great wisdom?" The wisdom of the Bodhisattva Van Thu is true wisdom, Mahayana wisdom, and the wisdom of Ton Gia Xa Loi Phat is power and wisdom from Hinayana.
Here are ten auspicious things that arose when Bodhisattva Van Thu was born.
1. Quang Minh filled the room. This clarity is brighter than any light, representing the wisdom of the Bodhisattva.
2. Nectar filled the yard. Nectar is an unbelievable water that can cure all kinds of diseases, if anyone can drink it, it will not be threatened with suffering, old age, sickness or death.
3. The land soared to seven treasures. Seven treasures are: gold, silver, save glass, crystal, nacre, chain, agate. Why are seven treasures up? Because Bodhisattva Van Thu has cultivated the sixteen thousand virtues to the fullest extent, so wherever he goes, he will touch jewels from the earth to appear.
4. The god opened the museum. The great power of Bodhisattva Van Thu, causing the land to crack, revealing the museum hiding in the ground, this is not like the earth skyrocketing into seven treasures, as the third thing above, here the land is torn apart. exposed museum.
5. Chickens born phoenix. This sign is not trivial compared to the one just now above. Actually, chickens only gave birth to chickens, but because the birth of Bodhisattva Van Thu was extraordinary, so eggs hatched phoenixes (phoenixes are the god of birds).
6. Pigs give birth to baby dragons. This auspicious omen, the less visible the phoenix chickens. If you have felt so inexperienced, please take a look at the signs below.
7. Horses give birth to unicorns. Unicorns, cow-tailed deer body, one horn. Horses that give birth to unicorns are a rarity in the world.
8. Cows give birth to white leaves. Bach Trach is the name of the beast that can speak. A rare and extremely rare beast of a beast, neither a cow nor a horse.
9. Paddy turns into gold. Do you think it's weird? There are people who think it's too weird, so don't believe it. If you do not believe it is because you are not transparent. If you are transparent, there is no doubt, you have certainly not heard of these things before, so how can you believe it? Anyway, this world is too large, but what we hear is limited, because we have not heard of these strange phenomena, when the paddy is transformed into golden grain, it cannot be eaten. anymore, but those are just a few.
10. Elephants have six tusks. Usually we only know elephants have two tusks. But when the Bodhisattva Van Thu was born, elephants all grew six tusks, do you say that is strange?
Some layman asked: "Why do elephants have six tusks?" The six tusks represent six degrees (six degrees), while the elephant represents the universal happiness.
That is the ten auspicious signs manifested when Bodhisattva Van Thu was born, that is also the expression that he preached without hesitation. Bodhisattva Van Thu is the most wise of all Bodhisattvas, full of courage, truth, and mindless contention. If you hear the Bodhisattva's sermon, you will see that my teaching is far behind him, because it cannot be compared. Or maybe you will say, "We really like the Master teaching the Dharma, we feel he is very good at teaching." But if you hear the teachings of the Bodhisattva Manjushri, you will know that it cannot be compared to Him.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.1/4/2021.
5. Tu đại hạnh : Đại Bồ Tát siêng tu lục độ vạn hạnh : Bố thí, trì giới, nhẫn nhục, tinh tấn, thiền định, trí huệ.
A. Bố thí : Gồm bố thí tài, bố thí pháp, bố thí không sợ hãi.
Ba đại A Tăng Kỳ kiếp. A Tăng Kỳ là tiếng Phạn dịch là "vô lượng số". Cho nên làm Bồ Tát chẳng phải là việc dễ dàng, phải trải qua ba vô lượng số đại kiếp thời gian mới thành đại Bồ Tát.
The Lotus Sutra has twenty-eight products, the first is the title; the predestined narrative of the Sutras. All Sutras, the first product is not called the title, but only this set of Sutras, using the first product as title.
I sound like this.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.
"I hear" is listening (writing) achievements, "I" is who? I include the false ego, and the pagan deity. This "I" is a fake me, not a real me. Why say "I listen" but not "earphone"? Because the ear is only a part of the body, it is not called the whole body. So Ananda said "I hear".
"Like this" is achievement news. France like this can be believed, not like this, then cannot believe. "I hear like this" has many meanings:
1. Putting off the public's doubts: When Ananda gathers the sutras, at first going to the court, the good general is as solemn as the Buddha, so the masses arise three. suspect.
The first thing is: The great Arahants in the conference,
The second thing is: The general public said that this Buddha came from another direction.
The third doubt is: The general public suspects that Ananda has become a Buddha, otherwise he has thirty-two generals, eighty beauty of the Buddha, but when Ananda comes to the throne, says "I sounds like this ", immediately the public is no longer skeptical. All the masses know that Ananda is saying: "Dharma like this means I personally hear what the Buddha said, not I created it myself".
2. Respect the Buddha's entrustment. When the Buddha entered Nirvana, he entrusted to His Holiness Ananda: "At the beginning of all the sutras should use" I hear like this. "Because of respecting the Buddha's instructions, so when he compiled the Sutras , then Mr. Aban first of all said "I heard like this", four words.
3. Terminate arguing. Ananda is a young disciple of the Buddha. If he did not say this sutra clearly, because he heard the Buddha speak but not himself, then in the public there would definitely be an argument: "You can speak, I can speak too!" Everyone will definitely start to debate, but, when Ananda said this sutra was spoken by the Buddha, the public immediately stopped arguing and discontent.
4. Different from paganism. The pagans use the two words "A Uu" to begin their sutras, "A" is no, "Uu" means yes. Because paganism says that all things are not there, then it is not, not that it means there is. The Buddha's sutras say, use: "I hear like this", to start the sutras, to be different from non-paganism.
When the Buddha was about to enter Nirvana, Ananda asked the Buddha four things: After the Buddha passed away:
a. When assembling the sutras what word to start the sutras, to make everyone believe that the Buddha said?
b. In the future, what is the method of practicing medicine according to the dharma?
c. Who do we depend on to be teachers in the future?
d. Malignant monks, how do we treat them?
The Buddha replied:
First: When practicing the Sutras, first of all, the sutras begin the sentence: "I hear like this".
Second: Y is based on satipahāna which abides. Mindfulness of mindfulness is body, feeling, mind and dhamma.
1. Contemplating the impure body: Although our body is very clean, we will have sweat flowing out, if we do not take a bath, it will not rot! There are nine holes on the body that often secrete impure things: ghetto, tears, runny nose, mucus, phlegm, defecation, urination, etc., always secretes impurities. So we must contemplate the impure body. For people who are greedy, use the impure shop to treat them, even though they are beautiful, men and women are dirty, not clean, of course not clean, what is there to attach? Knowing if not clean, there will be no greed first, no lustful mind.
2. Contemplation of life is suffering: Life is the feeling of feeling, whatever realm of good and evil, what is favorable or negative, what is money, when you receive it, your mind will fluctuate. There is suffering, it is suffering. All life expectancy, enduring all realms are suffering. If you know it is misery, then don't enjoy, crave pleasures, then it will cease suffering.
3. Mindfulness of impermanence. Our mind is like a wave in the sea, thoughts before and after birth, thoughts after birth, thoughts change, arise ceaselessly, but each thought is impermanent and hopeless.
4. Conservative selflessness. Dhamma has: rupa, dharma. In the Enlightenment of the Law, it says: "Rupa Dharma has eleven, Dharma mind has eight, Dharma mind has fifty-one, non-compliance with dharma has twenty-four, without dharma has six, totaling one hundred dharma ". However, there are many such dhammas, but are non-self, so do not be attached to the dharma. In the Vajra Sutra, it is said: "The Dharma must be let go of, the situation is illegal". Cultivating, cultivating to the extreme, the people and the dharma are no more. Previously, when the Dharma was not transparent, the attachment of self was very deep and heavy, everything belonged to me, everything was mine. But when the Dharma is transparent, the attachment to the Dharma turns into legal attachment. If there is an attachment, there are monsters and fearful monsters, crazy starts, and delusions arise. If the self is no longer available, So what about France? So we must contemplate the dharma without self. From contemplating the impure body, mindfulness, feeling, and dharma are also impure. Contemplation is suffering, then contemplation of body, mind, and dharma are also impermanent. Contemplating the dharma of selflessness, then contemplating the body and mind feeling are also non-self. So, although it is said that the four Foundations of Mindfulness, they have a relationship with each other. After the Buddha entered Nirvana, each bhikkhu should follow the four Foundations of Mindfulness that remain, unable to separate away.
Third: Must take precepts as teachers. All those who are ordained, must follow the religious precepts, if not follow the rules of practice, the Dharma will perish. If you follow the precepts of practice, the Dharma will last for a long time in the world. If there is a medical practitioner according to the religious rules of practice, Buddhism has one part of the clear light, ten people have ten parts of the clear light, there are hundreds of people, thousands of people, ten thousand people, until everyone follows the discipline of practice. Practices, without destroying, Buddhism has an infinite amount of clarity, destroying all the darkness in the world. So keeping the precepts clean, according to the practice precepts, is the last and most important teaching of the Buddha. Morality is the current monk's monk monk.
Wednesday: Do not say anything to malignant Bhikkhu. Regardless of them, take silence with regard to them. Malicious bhikkhus are not moral, so do not mention anything about them, let them be ashamed of themselves, thus affecting them, making them recollect to keep the rules, that is a good measure. Best.
Ananda asked Buddha four questions; Buddha all answered the vow, so all the sutras, first of all begin with the sentence: "I hear like this". "I hear" that Mr. A Nan said: "The Dharma is like this, I am A Nan, listening to the Buddha by myself, not by creating my own drawings. "Like this" is the word for the Dharma, that is to say this sutra, called achievement news, you news is like this, if you do not believe it, it is not like this. "Like" is immutable (unchanged), depending on the conditions is "this". "Like this" means that depending on the conditions, do not change, do not change, but depending on the conditions, ie also as immovable, willow will usually clear. And "like this" is a seal, that is, if you do the right contract with the Buddha's mind that is like this. If it is contrary to Buddha's mind, it is not like this
Ananda was much younger than the Buddha. When the Buddha was thirty years old, he became enlightened, and at the same time Ananda was born. He was only twenty-five years old, so twenty-five years ago, the Buddha's sutras said, He didn't hear it, why did he go to gather the sutras? Ananda is an uncle's cousin to the Buddha, although twenty-five years old, he just ordained, but he asked the Buddha to repeat all the scriptures said earlier. Therefore, the Buddha used his supernatural powers to repeat all the scriptures said earlier to Ananda. The memory of Ananda is extremely good, once in the ear, it will never be forgotten. So say, "Dharma is like the sea, flowing into the mind of Ananda". Moreover, Arahant is also a great manifestation, because in the past all the Buddhas who speak the sutras, were also gathered by Ananda.
At one time, the Buddha stayed at the Citadel, on the Mount Kaur, and together with the masses of Bhikkhus, ten thousand and two thousand people gathered.
"A time" is a time of achievement. So we do not specify the exact date, because we want to avoid historians, searching for the root evidence does not make sense. At that time, that was when the Buddha Shakyamuni said the Chinese Sutra, that was at that time.
"Buddha" is the master of achievement. "Buddha" is half Sanskrit, said Da Gia full Buddha. "Buddha translated as" sense ". Giac there:
1. Bon sense,
2. Shui discipline,
3. Save the Business sense.
1. Duty sense: Immediate is inherent enlightenment Buddha nature, does not need to go through practice, but still fully enlightened.
2. Water enlightenment: Beginning of enlightenment. We develop a mind that wants to learn the Dharma, study the Sutras of the teachings, that is called the hydrodynamic water.
3. Save Glass Enlightenment: Begin to enlightenment, then more and more diligent, enlightenment to understand the Dharma, until completely transparent Buddha Dharma into Buddha, that is called saving glasses. There is another saying:
1. Self-awareness: Self-enlightenment of the truth. As the second generation (Thanh Van, Duyen Giac) is only self-conscious, but cannot be forgiven, so it is called a sub-person.
2. Enlightenment forgiveness: I am enlightened, must also bring the truth of the ocean, educate sentient beings, make everyone also enlightened. Bodhisattva is self-forgiving, self-forgiving. The Hinayana only knows his own benefits but does not benefit people, he just wants to do self-drought. So, the Buddha blamed the Hinayana for destroying the bad luck, unable to promote the Buddha Dharma generously.
3. Enlightenment of full happiness: It is the fullness of Buddha. To incubate the Buddha, the three full circle of virtues. Who is this Buddha? That is Buddha Shakyamuni, born in India, the crown prince of King Tinh Sansk, named Siddhartha, nineteen years old ordained, thirty years old enlightened, giving lectures for forty-nine years, teaching more Sutras three hundred associations.
"Staying in Vuong Xa citadel, on Mount Ki Xa Quat". Vuong Xa Citadel means the capital of Ma Kiet Da country, is the city of King Tan Ba Sa La in, four sides of the city are surrounded by five large mountains, mountains in the northeast are Linh Son mountain. Ki Xa Quat mountain is also Linh Thuu mountain (Linh Son), because the mountain looks like a Thuu bird, so it is called "Linh Thuu" mountain. "The Citadel of the Noble Phantasms of the Kich Xa Quat Mountain" is the land of accomplishment.
"Together with the Venerable Bhikkhus ten thousand two thousand people gathered", is they achieved. Most of the other sutras say that two hundred and fifty people gathered, but especially many people in the Dharma Assembly, up to one thousand two thousand people gathered. Great Bhikkhu ie Bhikkhu has attained Arahantship. Bhikkhu is Sanskrit has three meanings:
1. The mendicant: The bhikkhu does not cook, every day when it is time to eat, then embrace the bowl to go into the city, or the village alms the boy, doing so not only for the peaceful body to exist, but also for the benefactor of the benefactor. . The Buddha process the Bhikkhu to eat a meal a day, too noon to eat, that is the first momentum (asceticism).
2. Father ma: The monk, when ordained as a Bhikkhu, the three monks failed to ask that: "Are you a macho?" Answer: "is the grandeur". Ask: "Have you developed bodhicitta?" Answer: "Got the subject matter". While questioning and replying to Jet Ma, you said that you have generated bodhicitta, then there is Da Xoa planet that transmits words to not Da Xoa, not to Da Xoa to transmit words to heavenly demons to hear, saying: " In the human world, there are more renunciants, the Buddha's relatives have increased, and their dependents have decreased. Maou heard those words, giving birth to jealousy and fear, so called father ghost.
3. Destroying evil: Destroying what evil? That is destroy evil negativity, ignorance and evil evil three.
Before each sutra, there are six achievements, they are: Believing achievements, listening to achievements, time of accomplishment, master of achievements, land of achievements, and they of accomplishment. There are six kinds of accomplishment, the Buddha spoke the Dhamma. Without one of the six unsuccessful things, you cannot speak the dharma.
All are Arhat, the contraband is over, there is no longer defilement. Soon get benefits, all the attachments in the realms, the mind is free.
"All are Arahants", this is a praise of the merit of the Arahant. Arhat is Sanskrit, also has three meanings as Bhikkhu. Bhikkhu ie the cause of Arahant, Arahant is the result of a Bhikkhu.
1. Application of worship: While in the local world, Bhikkhu is a mendicant. At the earth, the Arahant is an offering, that is, worthy of receiving the offerings of heaven and people. Also called "worshiping", that is, going to make offerings to other Bhikkhus. When the Buddha was in his life, all bhikkhus made offerings to the Buddha, but once, the Buddha turned into a humanitarian, converted the offering to all monks, so it was called "offering. response ".
2. Thieves: Kill the ignorant hackers, the defilements, click the eyes, ears, tongue, and tongue, the six hackers. Arhat completely destroyed, killed all these thieves. Not only kill "thieves", but also "not hackers". What is "not hackers" also kill? Because these things are admitted that they are not thieves, but since the Buddha and Bodhisattvas look back, they are both thieves, so "
3. Infertility: The evidence is four Arhat, the French infertility rings. In the three thousand great worlds, there is not a bit of dharma birth, nor does it see a little French cessation. This realm does not say, can not teach, but can only endure in the mind, so it is called infertility.
Arhat has four steps:
Basic results,
Nhi results,
Tam results and
Four results.
Arahantship, also known as Tu da complete, is the first step of Arahant. Evidence of Arahat results, the birth and death has not ended. So called "the position of knowledge" (level see director). Tu da complete is Sanskrit, translated as "imported save", entered the line of the Holy legal personality, upstream of the six ceiling. Six ceilings ie: color, bar, flavor, taste, contact, France.
Rupa: The witnesses have a brief result that does not enter the six ceilings, that level has a kind of concentration, any beauty in front of the eyes, nor mind.
Thanh Tran: Some people like to hear the music of soothing songs. But the testimony was preliminary results, any good or bad, bad and bad, were not moved, not moved by the bar, but moved the bar.
Bare incense: People like to smell the scent, but the stench arises, the mind is happy and disgusted, the mind is like to hate, the mind likes to hate, the mind that likes to hate is shaken by the aroma.
Taste: Normally, people eat delicious things, they want to eat a lot, but when eating things that are not good, they do not like to eat, it is moved by the bare taste.
Emotional nakedness: Ordinary people are greedy for touch, until the love between men and women does not let go, greed before touching gold and silver are beautiful and beautiful treasures. It is a puncture-proof, irreversible look.
Dharma ceiling: Attached to all kinds of France, that is, the legal ceiling. The results of Arahat are not moved by the six ceilings above, that level reaches this realm.
If someone says that they have attained themselves, or attained enlightenment, to experience them truthfulness, then make them a portion of the delicious food, and the hardest to eat part of the food. See what they choose? But do not let them know that you are trying them, if they do, they will specialize in food that is difficult to eat, is also shaken by the taste. This is an artifact, wearing a fake face to deceive people. Because it is not shaken by the ceiling, even if a little bit of choice is not available, it can be proved that the practitioner is a little more sophisticated. So, to be a saint, it is necessary to have evidence, not everyone can say that they have attained enlightenment results.
Consequences Arhat, also known as the result of Tu da jaw, Tu da jaw is in Sanskrit, translated as "First hybrid", if not forward to practice, then there is still one birth to heaven, one birth. down to the human world, so the second effect is the most fruitful hybrid. Sister results are still seven times life and death.
Tam results Arahants, called results A na function, is also Sanskrit, translated as "Real future", there is no longer life and death in the realm of sex. The first result is "the level of the view", the second result and the third result is the "level of practice", the four results are "the uneducated level", no longer need to learn, has ended birth and death. But the four results only get the "part of life and death", and the "change of life and death" has not yet been subtracted. Now briefly explain the two types of samsara:
1. The part of life and death: Each person has a part of his body,
2. Change of life and death: In the mind, mindfulness before passing away, then reciting after birth, thoughts after death, then reciting again arises, the thoughts of birth and death change constantly. The Bodhisattva has eliminated the life-and-death change.
The witnesses were four Arahantship results, the miraculous transformation could not be thought of the table, the magical realm of indescribable. He has five eyes of emerald, he can jump his body into nothingness and go. He could spit fire on his body, and water spit out his body; Water spits out on the body, fire spits out under the body In short, in nothingness He has eighteen divine powers of transformation. Because the four Arahants have divine powers, they are listed in one of the four Holy levels in Buddhism: Buddha, Bodhisattva, Duyen Giac, Thanh Van.
Previously, there was an Arahant leading a newly acquired disciple, traveling together, the disciple carried his luggage along the way and thought: "The Bodhisattva practice is paramount, I am certain. must develop the mind to cultivate the Bodhisattva path, to help all sentient beings ". The disciple thought so, the Arahant immediately knew. Then thought: "The current disciple generates bodhicitta, but I am just an Arahant, I must carry luggage". Therefore, he took the luggage from the disciple and carried it on his shoulder. Walking a long way, the disciple thought: "The Buddha has just practiced Bodhisattva, someone came to ask him for the eye, took out the left eye for him, he did not want, even said not. , say that you want the right eye. Oh! Bodhisattva is hard to practice. Or should we not practice the Bodhisattva path, but practice Arahant, do self-drought. " The Arahant teacher immediately knew the mind of the disciple, from big to small, so he gave the luggage to the disciple to carry. Not long after the disciple brought the baggage, re-started the Bodhisattva mind, the Arahant knew, and brought the luggage to the disciple again. Just brought back and forth like that a few times, making the disciple think it was very strange, he asked: "Teacher! One moment, I bring my luggage, some time give it to me, now I bring it back. It is not annoying, I really do not understand ". The Arhat replied: "On the way, there are times when I generate Bodhisattva mind, restore the direction of the great direction, so the luggage must be given to the practitioner of the Arhat. Carrying a part of the road, I will give back the direction. Primary, does not want to practice the Bodhisattva path but wants to practice Arahant, so the luggage must be given to you to bring. Currently you have a great rise in mind, the luggage must be brought to me.
When the set of Sutras Sun fake A Nan has not yet proved the four results, has not been gonorrhea. At the end of the organ, people declared clearly, only those who were witnesses were four Arahants, can join. That Sun fake A Nan only certified three results, so people do not let him in. He stood outside the door worrying about everything, thinking: "Know what to do? All of the Buddha's sutras say, we all remember them. But now, just because I have not yet witnessed the four Arhat, so I cannot greed." legal assembly of organs Kinh, how now? " In such an urgent time, he immediately attained the four Arhat results. Therefore, he said: "Now that I have seen the four arhat, you should open the door for me to come in!" The great Arahants on the inside said: "If you see the four results, What does it need to open the door to enter? You go in the door lock hole! "Mr. Nan heard, thinking:" That's right! Do you have to open the door? You must open the door in order to be able to enter and exit, then you know that person speaks great speech and lies.
Evidence is the four results Arhat, can clean all the gonorrhea, defilements ie gonorrhea, there are eighty four thousand of afflictions, there are eighty four thousand things contraband. Born of defilement ie go down, called contraband, drop (contraband) down to the realm of education, realms, formless realms. All the diseases, the mind of mind, attachment to taste, good reputation, good house, vehicles, etc., are called gonorrhea. What you like to desire, or let go of it, is called contraband. They all practice strange malignancies, such as like smoking, drinking, gambling, looking for women, which are called gonorrhea. The woman who likes to find the man is also gonorrhea. The woman has her period every month, so the more the woman is. The man could not let go of his lust, this is called the biggest contraband. Our body is called gonorrhea, eyes, ears, nose, mouth, where we urinate are all called gonorrhea. It is clear that in your mind, there are aspirations, and cannot keep your own spirit, this is called contraband. These contraband things are like the bottom of the pot has a hole, as much water in the jar drips out, so much merit is spilled out. Gonorrhea has too many, counting and counting, it is not true that there are only eighty-four thousand things. Song, level A la Han has run out of contraband, "Ended" is not said to have been all pirated; but completely no more pirated. I didn't have to say that everything was smuggled out, it was called the end; but capital was no longer pirated, not smuggled anymore, this is called "all pirated". So everyone who views the Sutra must especially understand this meaning clearly. Gonorrhea means that the gonorrhea has ended, must be witnesses to be four Arahant new results. At present, ten thousand two thousand great Arahants, all the contraband are all over,
These great Arahants, because they have all attained the perfect smuggling, so there is no longer any afflictions. "No longer" means no more. What they need to do has been done, and there is no longer a life for them. Samsara has ceased, so there is no defilement. How many defilements do you have? There are eighty-four thousand, but in general it means ignorance. Ignorance produces all defilements, divided into three categories, ie, greed, hatred, delusion, three poisons. These three poisons obscure the Buddha nature of everyone. We have not yet become a Buddha since beginningless time until now because of these three kinds of defilements. These three poisonous things, poisonous people born in drunkenness, die in illusions, make it impossible to return to the original source, restore the true face of the past. But if you practice the three unscrupulous: Morality, concentration, and wisdom, you can eradicate these three poisons, restore purity.
Gender: That is to stop doing evil, prevent harassment, and treat with greed. Mind greed is greed without boredom, not knowing enough. The regent has great intentions, all want to swallow the land and property of another country. Greedy people always want all the material of the world to belong to him. Having a greedy mind will produce evil thoughts. Why is greedy born? It is because of not understanding about gender. Morality stops doing evil, prevents harassment, tells you to know enough, not to be greedy. If you keep the precepts, you can overcome your greed.
Concentration: That means having concentration, without concentration, you will get angry, seeing those who see things feel uncomfortable. If there is no one, if I do not fit my eyes, I will get angry. Someone not only got angry but also beat me, put an ear patch on his left cheek, and was afraid that his right cheek "ate vinegar", so he gave an ear cover.
"Eating vinegar" is an ancient Chinese story. During the Tang dynasty, there was a great mandarin who was a servant of the king, he was very afraid of his wife. This mandarin, if each time he came home late, his wife would force him to kneel in front of the bed, until she told her that he would dare to stand up. This mandarin, when he saw the emperor during the day, had to prostrate, and at night when he came home late, he had to kneel. This mandarin was very close to the emperor, so bringing the situation to the emperor, the emperor immediately said there was a measure. The next day, the saint just called for the mandarin's wife to enter the palace, the emperor told her: "Your husband did not mess with the woman, did not do any wrongdoing, only came home late, why did you That is not true, if you do not commit again later, I will forgive you of your innocence, And if I do likewise in the future, I force you to die, you must drink the poison under my hand. "She said:" Good! I refused to take the poison, even if I died, I had to strictly punish him. ”Therefore, he took the bowl of poison and drank it in a empty breath. But after drinking it, he still did not die, only felt his stomach sour. It is not a poison but a cup of vinegar. The husband was forced to rule, so from then on, China handed down this "drinking vinegar" story, which means that the wife is very serious towards her husband. So he took the bowl of poison and took a empty breath. But after drinking, I still do not die, I just feel a sour stomach. The reason, is not a poison, but a cup of vinegar. The emperor intentionally said vinegar was a poison to try if she dared to drink it, unexpectedly she had an iron will, even though she could drink deadly poison, she had to treat her husband, so from then on, China has passed on this "vinegar drink" story, which means that the wife is very serious to her husband. So he took the bowl of poison and took a empty breath. But after drinking, I still do not die, I just feel a sour stomach. The reason, is not a poison, but a cup of vinegar. The emperor intentionally said vinegar was a poison to try if she dared to drink it, unexpectedly she had an iron will, even if she could drink poison to die, she had to treat her husband, so from then on, China has been told about this "drinking vinegar" story, which means that the wife is very serious to her husband.
So the person who is very angry should hit me? Because he has no concentration, so seeing people, seeing work, seeing himself, feels uncomfortable. Therefore, we must practice, when there is concentration, we cannot be angry, but we can surrender to the ghost of anger.
Hue: Why stupid? Because there is no wisdom, throughout the day and at night, I do not think, dominate the mind without rest, because there is no wisdom, so for anything, the perception is not clear, the lake is crazy. People with wisdom are: "the coming comes, the response, the going is quiet". Whatever comes, respond to it, accept and settle; After going, let the mind rest, don't force the mind to be a slave to the body. Now I tell you the truth: "What is foolishness? That is wisdom". You will say: "Again master says foolishness, if ignorance is wisdom, wisdom is ignorance, then why is it necessary to learn wisdom and drop ignorance?"
Don't think that I say a messy Dhamma, I say this ignorance, its essence, can turn into wisdom, not say leave ignorance but seek external wisdom. Wisdom is inherently in ignorance, but you don't know how to use it, if you can use it then it means wisdom, not being able to use it means ignorance. For example, concentration is also yard, yard also means concentration. If you want to obtain concentration, then turn anger into concentration. If you really want to observe the precepts, you are in greed, not looking outside. All these are in your own nature. If you can use it, it means the precepts of wisdom, not being able to use it is the greed and delusion. The magic is here, you are not transparent also in this place.
Because these Arhat are clean, they have no afflictions, so what needs to be done has been done. Why do we not benefit ourselves? Because sometimes you can, sometimes you die, sometimes you have, sometimes not. How is it called righteousness to benefit ourselves? That means real understanding, attaining true wisdom, attaining Arahantship, becoming enlightened, and then benefiting myself.
"End the ties in the realms". What is called attachment in the realms? That is karma and obstacle, that is, sex, identity and formless gender, also known as three friends (three realms). Three friends divided, there are twenty-five realms. Sex world has fourteen realms: That is:
Four great continents (Dong Thang Than Chau, © Nam Them Bo Chau, Western Nguu Hoa Chau, North Cau Luuchau),
Four evil lines (A © tu la, animals, hungry ghosts, hell),
The six heavenly realms of the world (Four Heavenly Kings, Heavenly Dao Loi, Heavenly Da Ma, Heaven Where Out, Heaven Hoa Lac, Heavenly Free)
Morality has seven realms: That is:
Heavenly Four Zen (Heavenly First Meditation, Heaven II Zen, Heaven Three Meditation, Heaven Four Meditation),
Heaven Great Pham
Heaven and Immortal
Heaven Five Imperfect.
There are four realms of formless realms: That is:
Heaven is Four and Not Made (Heaven is not boundless, Heaven is boundless, Heaven is boundless, Heaven is Not Made, Heaven is Non-Originated).
End your attachment in the realms, that is, beyond the three realms, are no longer in the senses, the rupa and formless realms. Therefore: "Beyond the three realms, not in the five elements", that is the real end of samsara.
There are people who are not transparent about the Dharma, who think that it is the highest to practice Heavenly Tu Zen In fact, that is still in the three realms of twenty-five realms, basically they don't know what is good, in their practice it can be said that the further away, but, those people are ignorant, telling everyone that has reached the highest realm. Like Bhikkhu Vo Van, taking the four meditation as four results, reaching the realm of four meditation, claiming to have attained the four results, when he was perverted, slandered the Buddha that: "The Buddha said that the four results were finished. Death, why am I still perverted now? " Defame Buddha more and more perverted into three evil paths, permanently unable to get out, not only did the Venerable Vo Van fall into hell, but many of his followers also went to hell. Therefore, there is a saying:
"Delusion is transmitted to delusion,
One transmission two does not understand,
The teacher fell into hell, the
disciple also followed ".
" Mind is free. "These Arhat, in the mind of boundless pleasure, dissipate at ease, like the Bodhisattva of Freedom, all day long. I sit and meditate at night, very indulgent pleasure, no negativity, the mind is truly free, wise. You do not think that all day long and dark, that is pleasure, on the contrary, it is crazy afflictions! Why? There is no concentration, but also screams crazy laughter, what is it really pleasure?
Their names are: A Nha Kieu Tran Nhu, Ma Ha Ca Lettuce, Uu Lau Tan Loa Ca Lettuce, Old Ca Lettuce, Na De Ca Lettuce, Xa Loi Phap, Dai Muc Lien Lien, Ma Ha Ca Chien, A Lau Da Da, Tan Na Life, Kieu Pham Ba De, Ly Ba Da, Tat Lang Old Ba Tha, Bat Cau La, Ma Ha Cau Hi La, Nan Da, Ton Da La Nan Da, Phu Lau Na Di Da La Ni Tu , Tu Bodhi, A Nan, La Hau La.
The names just sent out above are popular, twenty-one great Thanh Van disciples of the Buddha, in the ten thousand and two thousand people of the Dharma Congress.
1. "A Nha Kieu Tran Nhu".
He is one of the first five, the Buddha's first degree. The Buddha under the bodhi tree saw the growth of tomorrow and became enlightened, so the Buddha exclaimed three good times: "All sentient beings have Buddha nature, they can become Buddhas". The Buddha just said that all sentient beings have Buddhahood, they can become Buddhas, not all sentient beings ie Buddhas, but there are followers of Buddha or Buddhists who say: "Who is who? are also Buddha, man and Buddha have no difference ". That is the blind leading the blind, wanting to blind people.
The Buddha exclaimed three times of healing, then used Dieu to contemplate and observe, knowing first of all, to go to Deer Park garden of the five brothers Kieu Tran Nhu. Why ? Because in the past these five monks specialized in destroying and defaming the Buddha. In countless eons ago, however, six people developed the same spirituality, but the five of them joined together to contempt the Buddha, sometimes beat him, scolded him, ate his flesh or drank his blood, but the Buddha Not only did he not arise resentment towards them, but on the contrary, he vowed to say, "You really help me to practice! If I can become Buddhas in the future, I must first degree them. I am not good towards me, but I do not afflict resentment at all, on the contrary, I treat you better ". The Buddha's patience to be like that is so great, we every cultivator should follow that good example.
There is a story about King Ca Loi and Tien Ong patiently. In the past, the Buddha practiced patience, so it was called Patient Tien. One day, King Ca Loi (the forerunner of Kieu Tran Nhu) brought a number of concubines to the hunting forest, unintentionally, the concubines saw Tien Ong patiently meditating, so gathered ask him for religion. King Ca Loi said that Tien Ong patiently seduced the king's concubine, so he gave birth to a jealous mind, so he cut off the limbs of Tien Ong patiently. Whenever the king cut a limb, he asked: "Is there resentment in your mind?" Tien Ong patiently replied: "I am not angry with you, if I am not angry, my limbs will be restored to the same way. If there is a mind of anger, my limbs cannot be reverted." As soon as he finished speaking, as expected, his limbs and limbs returned to the same condition, At that time, all the good-natured Dharma protectors were angry with King Ca Loi, then hail stormed down to the place of King Ca Loi to punish King Ca Loi. But the Buddha requested to the good gods: "Don't blame him, he came to test me, so that I could achieve my karma. In the future when I become a Buddha, I will first convert him." However, A Nha Kieu Tran Nhu treated the Buddha very badly, but when the Buddha became a Buddha, he would first degree him. "Ahya" means "deification" is also called the first enlightenment. But when the Buddha became a Buddha, he leveled him first. "Ahya" means "deification" is also called the first enlightenment. But when the Buddha became a Buddha, he leveled him first. "Ahya" means "deification" is also called the first enlightenment.
2. "Ma Ha Ca Lettuce".
Ma Ha means "big" (great), so Ma Ha Ca Lettuce means Dai Ca Lettuce. Ca Lettuce translated as "moist optical", also known as "Dai Quy". Dai Quy Thi is his surname, because when his ancestors became religious, they saw a large turtle carrying a graphic on the back, so they took it as their surname.
His name Dai Ca Lettuce is Ti Bat La. Ti Bat La is the name of the tree, because His parents prayed to this tree that gave birth to Him, so Ti Bat La was the name, and on His body there is clarity, obscuring all other clear light, like drink (moist) all other clarity. Why does he have clarity? There is a story like this: His wife (Bhikshu Ni Tu Kim Quang) was a very poor woman in the past. After the Buddha Tì Bà Thị died, someone made a tower to worship Buddha and created a Buddha image. Over a long time, the tower also ruined and the statue was also damaged. Therefore, when this woman saw that, she came up with bodhicitta wanting to repaint the Buddha statue in the pagoda, so she went to the places to ask for money, every day she could buy gold, she spent nineteen years hard to get money. The amount of gold accumulated was also not small, she invited a goldsmith to come to replace the Buddha statue with gold.
Together, the two restored the pagoda and the Buddha statue, and the goldsmith proposed to that poor woman, the poor woman happily responded. When the two have been married, they make their aspirations: we want to be husband and wife forever and ever. Because of the golden statue of Buddha, the two bodies of the body were all emitting light, so when Ca Lettuce was born, there was a golden light on the body (golden light). After He grew up, His parents wanted Him to get married, He said: "My body has a diamond, then you must find a woman on the body that also has a diamond, then I will marry her, otherwise I will. Celibacy". Some time later, a woman was found on her body, also emitting light, so the two got married. The two people who got married and then ordained together, have already attained Arahantship.
Do not mistake that they make eternal vows to be husband and wife forever and ever and say: "In the future I meet a man (woman), I also want to make the same aspiration, forever and ever to be husband and wife". Absolutely do not do that, they make eternal vows to be husband and wife forever to practice religion, they must all take refuge in the Three Jewels, leave a monkhood, do not take eternal vows to be husband and wife, because the more you do the worse. to hell, to be ordained, so that He Ca Lettuce and his wife were both ordained.
Ma Ha Ca Lettuce is the First Patriarch. Do you want to meet this Venerable Buddha! Now that he is still in this world, he is meditating in meditation on the Mount Ke Tuc in Yunnan Province of China. He waited until Maitreya Bodhisattva was born to become a Buddha, then brought the robes of Shakyamuni Buddha to Maitreya Buddha. Now he has not passed away. If you sincerely come to Mount Cúc Túc bowing to him, you can see Him. At Ke Tuc mountain, there are usually three types of clarity: Buddha's light, yellow clear light and silver clear light. If anyone is sincere, not only can see clarity, but also can hear the bell. That bell could be heard even a few hundred miles outside.
He was the oldest of the Buddha's disciples, also the most ascetic. But the older He is, the stronger he will have spirit and strength. His parents, who live in Ma Kiet Da, are extremely wealthy, can say "Phu able to win the country", but the king of Ma Kiet Da also bowed to him as a teacher, but since he followed the Buddha's monkhood. , then not only give alms to the property but also professionally practice austerity, suffer extreme suffering. One day, when the Buddha gave a sermon, the Buddha divided him into a half-court seat, calling him Ca Lettuce to sit together. He was very old at that time, about one hundred forty five years old. The Buddha told Him Lettuce: "You are too old, your mind will definitely not be well-off, you will become austere, you are afraid of not being able to bear it. You should stop doing austerities, change to eat a little. , wear a little better, in a slightly more appropriate place! "But he also listened to the Buddha's words, he still practiced asceticism. Thus, he was praised by the Buddha:" My Buddha's teachings are permanent, are very interrelated. big with austerities early momentum of Dai Ca Lettuce. If we continue to practice such austerities, our Buddha Dharma will definitely stay on for a long time. ”So, Patriarch Ma Ha Ca Lettuce is the most austere monk.
One time, the Buddha was trying to give a sermon, a god Dai Pham Thien came to offer the Buddha with a branch of the Golden Brahmin flower. That god lying on the ground invited the Buddha to sit on his body to lecture. The Buddha sat on top of that heavenly body, held up a flower branch in front of the mass of hundreds of thousands of people and opened a smile. When the Buddha smiled, he also smiled. So it is called: "Nervous flowers, transmitting the Buddha's mind". The Buddha said: "I have the Dharma of the eye, Nirvana, the magic of the mind, the formless form, the special teaching, which is mindful of the mind, entrusted to Ma Ha Ca Lettuce". Therefore, Mā Ha Ca Lettuce became the First Patriarch. The Buddha only transmitted to him Ca Lettuce, he passed to the second Patriarch Ananda, Mr. Ananda passed to the third Patriarch Thuong Na Hoa Tu, He Thuong Na Hoa Tu transmitted to the fourth Patriarch Uu Ba Cuc Da, etc., a lifetime passed down to a lifetime using mind. From the First Sisters passed to the twenty-eighth Patriarch of Bodhidharma. Bodhidharma brought the Buddha's mind to China, and transmitted it to the second Patriarch, Hui Kha. Mr. Hue Kha passed on to the third Patriarch, Sang Xan, etc., to the Luc To Hue Nang. Later, a flower blooms five petals, divided into: Tong Lam Te, Tong Phap Nhan, Tong Tao Dong, Tong Quy Ngong and Tong Van Mon. Up to now, the Buddha's teachings have spread to the West, that is the outline of the Patriarch that is said to be.
"The first twelve austerities austerities". Now briefly lecture on the first ascetic momentum just mentioned above. "Dau momentum" is Sanskrit, translated as "cheerfulness", which means spiritual cheerfulness; as when doing meditation, we often say emotional elation, not afraid of suffering, the more misery, the more effort. Like Him Ca Lettuce old like that, but also virtuous early momentum, euphoric spirit of the twelve virtues of the first momentum.
1. Wear clothes to promote. He is also known as algae chalk medicine, which means that the medical plate has hundreds of thousands of holes torn, but every time it is broken, it will be patched, not knowing how many times to patch it. This robe other people do not want to wear. The monk picked up the rags in the trash, then washed them and sewed them into robes to wear. Where is it good to wear this robe? If I say it, many more. If you wear this robe, there is no greed, and will eliminate the greed of others. Other bhikkhus see that you wear blue robes and not good robes, they also develop a spiritual mind to cultivate. Moreover, if you wear ragged robes, thieves and robbers are bound to not steal from you. In 1948, I stayed at Nam Hoa pagoda when bandits came to rob the pagoda. They broke the door and immediately asked me to bring out the money, and I said: "Look, I'm wearing the same thing, is it like someone who has money?" (At that time I wore the same robe as when I was wearing the robe of filial piety next to my mother's grave, with filial piety, I always wear it to commemorate my mother. In the Northeast (China), whoever took refuge with me patched me in that robe, so that robe had a lot of patch holes). However, I told the bandits in the room that there were treasures, asking them to go in and get them, but the bandits saw me wearing the same thing, didn't go into the room to steal anything, and left. (In fact, there are two living treasures in the real room, that are two scared Sa Di uncles lying under the bed). I told the robbers in the room that there were treasures, asking them to go in and get them, but the bandits saw that I wore the same thing, did not go into the room to steal anything, and left. (In fact, there are two living treasures in the real room, that are two scared Sa Di uncles lying under the bed). I told the robbers in the room that there were treasures, asking them to go in and get them, but the bandits saw that I wore the same thing, did not go into the room to steal anything, and left. (In fact, there are two living treasures in the real room, that are two scared Sa Di uncles lying under the bed).
Moreover, if you wear algae chalk, the rich will also leave you, thus less disturbed, and the most important point is that the woman is also far from you. Cultivating, if you wear the same kind of clothes, there will be a very dense taste over time, but this flavor for a woman to say it is a stench, so wearing algae robes there are many good places to say nothing. OK.
2. There are only three y. Monks practice the momentum of the momentum only three y plates, therefore: "Apart from the body nothing else, no defilements arise". Three y means:
The first is the Patriarch, also known as the great y, Sanskrit called y Sangha Le, translated as "y twenty five things". Y twenty-five things, four long one short, add up to one hundred and twenty five boxes, which is the representation of the appearance of the field of merit, so it is also called the blessed field. This medicine, if entering the palace, gathers alms,
The second is y seven things, y seven things two long one short, plus twenty one box, in Sanskrit called y Uat Da La Tang, translated as "y enter them". When worshiping, chanting, listening to the Dharma, meeting with the masses etc., then wear this robe.
The third is y five things, y five things a short one, plus ten boxes, in Sanskrit called y An Da Hoidich "y accept", when working on the mandate, everywhere wear this robe. If a bhikkhu practices early momentum, then there are only these three and the bowl of the bowl with the monk. The bowl is a bowl of a bhikkhu used to eat rice, and is used to spread the Buddha's ceremony in the main hall.
3. Alms alms: Every day when it is time to eat, I go to the city and go to the village to beg, but I don't cook anything.
4. Ordered alms: That is, when going out for alms, you do not choose the rich or the poor, the purpose is to destroy the discriminating mind that acts equally, it is the act of public and carefree.
5. Eat a meal a day, that is, do not eat in the morning, only eat one lunch. Having a good lunch is unfortunately not easy to do. Why ? Because a little bit of hunger wants to eat, most people cannot bear the austerity of eating one meal a day. However, the merit of eating one meal a day cannot end. In a nutshell, if you eat a little less, you will reduce your negativity a little bit. If you eat a little more, you are also a little more depressed. In addition, when a bhikkhu eats rice, there must be three contemplations and five visualizations.
Three contemplations: First: May all evil ends. Second: Prayer to cultivate all good things. Third: The attitude of all sentient beings.
Five visualizations:
First: "Successful multi-minority design, the amount of hybrid land". Meaning: calculate how many workers it takes to make the food. For example, forming a grain of rice, having to go through sowing, watering, fertilizing, weeding, etc., how much is hardship, so it is extremely difficult to make a grain of rice, it is not easy to arrive. . So there is a saying:
"In the midst of a fierce midday sun, the
peasants work hard,
Sweat on the rice,
Who knows, and
each seed is bitterly bitter".
Therefore, each of us should mourn material things, save money, do not waste it arbitrarily, but think about it, arriving is not easy. Why in this world there are countries that lack food, people do not have food? Because material waste is so much, there is no food to eat. We are believers of Buddha, especially with regard to cause and effect, be careful, material, culinary, material, you can use it, if you cannot use it, let others use it, but do not throw it away, there:
"In the kitchen there is surplus rice,
there is a hungry person on the street".
So in the house, if there is leftover rice, give it to someone who does not have rice, do not throw it away.
Second: "Thon century virtues, full disability worship". That is: think about what merit you have, is worth the offering of the ten directions, is your amount of virtue enough? Is it enough or lacking? Is it worth receiving the offering of the donor? If virtue is not enough, quickly make use of the practice of cultivation.
Third: "Room is too centrifugal, greed is micro-tones. That is: prevent your own mind, leave all mistakes. From what is wrong? That is leaving from greed, ignorance and ignorance. distinguish good things or bad, do not good things they eat more, the thing is not to eat, so it is not true.
Wednesday: "Chief of the herbalists, of whether the formation dry." When Bhikkhus to eat, think ingestion used as medicine, to prevent the body from drying out, if not eaten, it cannot survive.
Thursday: "Vi into a career, real life satisfaction test". "Why do I have to eat rice? Because I want to use the spiritual practice, if I do not eat rice, I will not stand steadily and sit still. Because I want to cultivate, I cannot not eat".
6. Eat in moderation. That is to have moderation for food, eat and drink quantity. Can not feel good food, after eating and then want to eat again, always remember not to forget, then there is no amount. Whenever you find something delicious, if you eat two bowls for each meal, you will definitely eat two bowls. I cannot say that this thing is not good, I eat one bowl, when the object is good, I eat three bowls, without moderation at all. The apostate mendicant has to eat two bowls to be full, but he only eats one and a half bowls.
7. After noon, do not drink water with nutrients. Don't drink milk, juice, coffee, tea or honey, but only drink cold water. However, this is very difficult for onions, because even tea is listed as a tonic, and cannot drink, so it is not easy to do onions. Those are the five austerities about eating, below talk about abode austerities
8. In A Lan Nha. A Lan Nha is Sanskrit, translated as "quiet place". Silence means no noise, no sound. This place is in the mountains, in the depths, or far from the city, is the best place for spiritual practitioners to practice.
9. Under the tree. The first pilgrim is under the tree. Why? Because cultivators take heaven and earth to build their house, they can live everywhere, but they cannot stay more than three nights at each tree, because true cultivators are very noble, because they avoid allowing people to know them to come and make offerings. So stay under the tree for about two nights, then leave, to avoid someone wanting to come to make offerings, that is not to pray to anyone.
10. Outdoors. People who practice outside, really take heaven and earth as a room, that is, the light of the moon and stars, such a life, why is so self-
centered , so there is a sentence: "Nguyet is a natural,
Phong Lai Shui unconscious,
Nhat ancient bar the taste,
Lu obtained minimal human tri ".
Natural life like that, very few people perceive its miraculous places.
11. Outside the graveyard, that is, staying with the dead, making friends with the devil. Why ? Because sitting in the gravesite, we can cultivate about impermanence, clearly see that human life is impermanent. Every sooner or later we will die, die and then bury in the grave, turn into a pile of white bones. Sitting in a spirituality, being able to enlightenment is all impermanent, so there will not be all kinds of greed and delusion, nor will there be any attachments.
12. Your back does not touch the ground. In India, there is the Venerable Venerable, never lying down all his life, but always sitting and not lying down. If you sleep, the more you sleep, the more you want to sleep, but you don't want to wake up. However, if you normally do not sit down, you will wake up and wake up very easily using the practice of meditation practice. So often sitting idle in terms of spirituality helps a little.
If you can do one or two of the virtuous deeds is still as good as usual, depending on your ability. He Ca Lettuce is very old, but he still practices twelve virtuous deeds, so he is the first one.
3. Prosperity Qin Loa Ca Lettuce
4. Old Gia Ca Lettuce
5. Na De Ca Lettuce
These three brothers, before taking refuge with the Buddha, were worshiping the pagan god of fire. They think that fire is the highest divine, the mother of all things, so they specialize in revering fire and prostrating fire. Are they stupid, you say? What is the use of fire prostration?
"Uu Lau Tan Loa" is Sanskrit translated as "rustic forest", he is most happy to practice religion in the wood quince. He and his five hundred disciples were on the bank of the Ni Lac Ca river. Two younger brothers live with Him. "Old Gia" translates as "to", or "elephant head mountain", this person has three hundred disciples. "Na De" translates as "river", this position has two hundred disciples, so Ca Lettuce brothers combined with a thousand disciples.
After the Buddha became enlightened, he went to the Nai Garden to be a novice monk. After that, he observed that the next person to be the three brothers of Ca Lettuce, so the Buddha went to Uu Lau Tan Loa Ca Lettuce. death is also fine, but, Buddha cannot speak out that thought, so using clever means to say: "It's already dark! I can not go any more, can I stay in the cave of Can you have a night? " Uu Lau Qin Loa said: "There was a ferocious fire dragon in that cave, it was bound to burn him to death". But the Buddha said: "No problem, it cannot hurt me." Therefore, Uu Lau Qin Loa invited Buddha to live in the mountain cave. Indeed in the middle of the night, the fire dragon was very large, his mouth spewing fire wanted to burn the Buddha. However, The Buddha entered the trio of fire, not being hurt at all. At that time, the Buddha used the divine power of dragon photography to put it in the bowl, then told the Dhamma to hear it, the dragon took refuge with the Buddha.
Uu Lau Qin Loa Ca Lettuce was too surprised. However, he thought that he was a practitioner of diligence, but could not match the realm of the Buddha and the divine power, so he brought five hundred disciples to take refuge with the Buddha. When the two younger brothers heard that he had ordained to follow the Buddha, also developed a mind to want to leave home and bring all the disciples to join the Sangha. Leaving home soon, the three brothers were all attested to Arhat.
6. Xa Loi Phap
When Xa Loi Phap was not born, his mother often argued with his uncle (Ma Ha Cau Hi La), but all lost. However, since he was pregnant, Xa Loi Phat was very strange, that is, His mother argued with His uncle, on the contrary, His uncle all lost. Therefore, Ma Ha Cau Hi La knew that the boy was in the womb of her sister, definitely someone with great wisdom. Why ? Since he knew that his sister was not that intelligent, but now she is smart and smart, surely that wise child could help her. Ma Ha Cau Hi La felt that his character was not enough. If the future argued with his grandchildren and lost, he would lose face, so he went south to India in search of a dharma teacher. Day and night, I was only dedicated to studying, I did not have time to cut hair, shave, and cut nails, but let my nails grow longer, so most of them called him "Truong Trao Pham Chi".
When he studied medicine, fortune-telling, viewing general, astrology, arguing, etc., all finished, then returned home to meet his sister, looking for relics. However, his sister said that Xa Loi Phat had followed the Buddha's ordination, he immediately gave birth to an arrogant mind saying: "My maternal grandson, just eight years old, posted a sermon, everywhere, a few hundred preachers are Being deceived by him, being such an intelligent boy, how can he follow the monastic monk? What a pity! I have to go see that Sa Mon, see what character he has? " Therefore, Ma Ha Verse Hi La went to meet the Buddha, he met the Buddha and brought out all the methods of learning, no way to argue against the Buddha, in the end he established the Buddha's tone. Buddha asked him: "What do you use as cardboard?" He replied: "I take my life as an apostle, whatever teachings He teaches, I will not be reasonable, nor will I receive life, See what measure you have? "Buddha said:" Good! You take no feeling as tone, have you received the perception of your non-feeling? "The Buddha asked so, it is true to ask him in return! If you say longevity, then which does not have this tone, the more contrary to me. Before arguing, he wagered Buddha: "If I argue lose then cut my head down, if you lose, you must return my grandchild." But when he loses, he runs away, no. If I want to cut my head, I won't be too far, then think again: "I am a male macho macho man, if I say it, I have to keep my word, why swallow my words? Come back to have your head cut off! "So run back to where the Buddha wanted to cut off the head, but the Buddha said:" In my Dharma there is no such method, you argue that losing is a loser, it's absolutely imperative. head cut ". Then the Buddha gave him the sermon, he immediately opened the dharma eye, obtained the pure dharma eye, knew the immense magic of the Buddha-dharma, but his dhamma was a foreign dharma, not equal to one of ten thousand Buddhism. Therefore, he not only did not ask for his return, but also followed the Buddha's ordination, which is a part of the predestined relationship of Abhidharma and his uncle Ma Ha Verse.
Xa Loi Phat is in Sanskrit, translated as "wife", and called "Chau Tu" or "molecule". Because his mother called "Thu", she had very beautiful eyes like the Autumn bird, so she called Thu. And His mother's eye is like a pearl, so it is called a pearl. "Waving" means you.
Xa Loi Phat the first wisdom, at the same time, was also extremely great. Once, he Muc Lien Lien and He compared supernatural powers. When the Buddha went to lecture, then all the disciples followed to listen to the dharma. Only that time, Mr. Xa Loi Phat was mending his robes, Muc Lien Lien urged him to go, but urged him to confirm that he had finished patching and then left, so Muc Kien Lien used divine powers to make the He folded, Mr. Xa Loi Phat left the robe on the right and said: "If you can lift up the robe, I will go with you". Who knows, using all the divine powers, not only cannot lift the medical plate, but the y plate doesn't budge at all. You see that the wisdom of Abhidharma is greater than that of divine power! The deity of Muc Lien Lien is the first supernatural power, but compared with the wisdom of Xa Loi Phap, the fight cannot pass him.
7. Great Pastor Kien Lien.
Muc Lien Lien is in Sanskrit, translated as "lai base sense" or "Thai tieu thi", his name is Ti Loi Bat (name of a tree), because his parents prayed to the tree. So he took this name as his name, predestined like He Ca Lettuce.
However, his mother Muc Lien Lien prayed to the gods, but did not believe in the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, nor did she respect the Three Jewels, but defamed the Three Jewels. Therefore, she died and fell to hell. When Muc Kien Lien attained the five eyes of emerald, he looked around the world in search of his mother, and found that his mother was in hell as a hungry ghost, suffering immeasurable suffering. Muc Kien Lien was sad and sad. He brought a bowl of rice to his mother to eat, but the rice that just reached his mouth turned into coal fire. Why ? Because His mother was deeply sinful, whatever was eaten by her mouth would turn into fire, and she could not eat it.
Although Muc Lien Lien was the first miracle, but there was no way to save his mother, so he looked for the Buddha, crying and saying: "My mother fell to hell as a hungry ghost, I brought rice to him. She ate, but when the rice came to her mouth, it turned into coal fire, now I pray to Duc The Blessed One for mercy, to save my mother ". Buddha said: "Because my mother defames the Three Jewels, the pity is too heavy, I cannot save my own strength. Monks and monks, set up Vu Lan Bon ceremony to make offerings to the ten methods of Buddha Dharma, that day, if you make offerings to the Three Jewels, your mother will leave suffering and be happy. " Muc Lien Lien heard that, following the Buddha's method, offering Vu Lan Bon ceremony to make offerings to the Three Jewels, causing his mother to leave her misery in hell,
So each year to the full moon day of July, each pagoda celebrates Vu Lan, the parents of seven generations and parents present money. Someone asked: "But my parents are not dead yet? What should I do?" If your parents are not dead, then you are superior to parents of the past seven generations, and your parents who are still alive will also benefit from long life benefits.
His divine powers Muc Lien Lien is vast, is the first disciple of the Buddha. One time, the Buddha went to the heavenly palace of Dao Loi to give a sermon, passing by Mount Tu Di, and met a poisonous dragon. This poisonous dragon is very jealous of the Buddha, wants to prevent the Buddha from going to heaven to lecture, so his mouth spits out poisonous sand that wants to kill the Buddha. But Muc Kien Lien used divine powers, turning poison sand into soft silk, making the dragon poisonous, so the poisonous dragon reincarnated in a big way, curled up into three circles of Tu Di mountain, Muc Kien Lien was also a great incarnation. than the poisonous dragon, wrapped the mountain Tu Di nine rounds. The poisonous dragon saw that Muc Lien Lien was more beneficial than it, but it still hadn't given up. Therefore, Mister Lien Lien turned into a small insect, entered the belly of the poisonous dragon and bit his stomach in great pain, he could endure it, the poisonous dragon had no other divine powers to fight,
He was also the Bodhisattva Jizō, because he saw his mother suffered suffering, but could not see all living beings suffering, so he vowed to be the Bodhisattva of Jizō, to go to hell to help them. living suffering, leaving suffering is happy, he vows:
"Hell is not empty, I
swear not to become a Buddha.
Beings are all, new bodhi attestions".

He is also known as Hao Kien, because his shoulder muscles look very beautiful. Another name is Tu Thang because his thoughts are sharper than others.
He was skillful in sermon, any moral teaching, he also gave a lot of ethics, making the listener happy to admire, so of the ten great disciples of the Buddha, he was first proponent.
Once, there was a non-pagan who talked about the view, and met Sun Jia and asked, "Buddhism says that: the dead are still there, but my religion says: the dead have no next , I have a reason for your uncle. There is a future life?
He replied, "If people do not return, like the offenders who are put into prison, can they even go home? So are those who fall into hell!"
The pagan said: "But those who are born into heaven, I don't see anyone coming back, in hell without freedom, can't return, there is reason to say, but This birth to heaven is free, why not see them return? "
He was born into heaven, like a man who has come up from a dungeon with water to wash it off. Do they even want to crawl down to the dungeon?
The pagan at that time secretly shut up and said nothing. He continued: "One day and one night in heaven, it is a hundred years in our human world. Think, those who are born in heaven at least they have to rest and clean up. Somewhere to tidy things up, it also takes a few days, which means the world is about two or three hundred years. At that time, he is dead, the bones are gone, do you even know they are back? " Here the pagan has nothing to say. Therefore, Ca Lamb Dien was the first commentator. Any ethic can be taught, the first is the direction, the sport is not great, making the listener instilled with the religion.
9. Hello
This is the false Religious religion, known as A Na Law. In countless eons ago, he made offerings to a Bich Chi Buddha, but when he made offerings he did not know that it was the Pratyekabuddha. May the power of the Pratyekabuddha that is: once descending from the mountain for seven days, the seven houses are destined for grace. If there is no one to offer them in seven houses, he will not be destined to return to the mountain. He worked very hard every day in the fields and he ate very frugally. That afternoon, he saw that the old Bhikkhu could not beg for any alms, and was moved to say, " He is a monastic monk who met when he had a poor season of hunger, and had no food to eat, it was pitiful. You are not in the mood for meager rice, I will offer it to You ".
The Pratyeka Buddha said: "You will give me alms very well, I am ready to accept your offerings, but what do you take to eat?" A Nau Lau Da said: "It's okay if you don't eat today." The monk dedicates his dedication to him, Mr. A Nau Lau Da continued to work, soon in the field ran out a rabbit. The rabbit was very strange, jumping around and playing around and then ran up on the shoulder of Mr. A Dau Lau Da refused to come down. Among the Buddha's disciples, he was the first scholar (good at astrology).
11. Kieu Pham Ba De.
This fake Religion has a very bizarre movement, that is, every time when eating rice, it is like a cow grazing, in his mouth chewing and swallowing ceaselessly, so called Nguu Tu Ton Gia, called Nguu Vuong. Because he had this practice of qi, so the Buddha feared that people would see him, but were born and ruined, would perish, so he called him up to live in heaven, to receive the devas to make offerings. Why does He have this qi? Because of the retribution (cursing). Countless lives ago, when he was a little novice monk, once contemptuously cursed an old Bich Chi Buddha, eating rice like a cow grazing grass, although the Pratyeka Buddha advised him to immediately repent, but, he Not ashamed at all, on the contrary, she even smeared me saying, "Confess what? I am not like you!" Because of scolding and scolding like that, so he died and fell as a cow for five hundred generations, and was later transformed into a human body, but it is unavoidable that the form exercises the qi to make a cow, and to eat it is still like a cow grazing. That is because the past defamed the Buddha. Therefore, any action we must be careful, check our own reflection, do not arbitrarily slander when destroying others.
12. Ly Ba Da.

Two demons met Him and asked, "Hey! Do you want us to eat this dead zombie, or to eat you!" Mr. Ly Ba Da did not care about them, so the two demons negotiated, the big devil ate the dead corpses, the little devil tore every part of Mr. Ly Ba Da and put it on the dead corpse. Before long, the great demon ate all the dead corpses, hands and feet, and was reassembled in dead zombies by the small demon. At that time, he explained: "My whole body was torn by a devil, now I have no body anymore, what should I do?"
He immediately ran back to the village, saw him, and asked, "Do I have a body? Please tell me!" But everyone thought that He was crazy. After a while, he met a group of monks and asked, "Do you see I have a body or not?" Among those monks, some of them had attained Arhat, he knew that he might leave the house to say: "The human body is fake but does not have itself, if you practice, attest to attain results, obtain clarity of self. that is the truth, not fake, whether you have or not this body has any relationship? However, saying that, but the river god did not dare not listen to his instructions, but, in his mind, he was very upset, but did not dare to say it. Such a situation happened many times, the goddess of the river could no longer tolerate it, so she went up to meet the Buddha and said: "Your Holiness! You have a disciple named Tat Lang Gia Ba Tha, who does not respect me. Anyway, every time I go to my riverbank I say: "Tieu Tì, stop flowing. "Saying such a thing is rude, it's not polite to people." The Buddha said that if he waited for him to return he would tell him to apologize to the river god. Before long, Sun Jia returned, the Buddha told Sun Jia: "When you cross the Ganges, why call the river god:" Little Tì, stop flowing. "It was disrespectful, have to hurry down and apologize to the god that. " Therefore, Mr. Tat Lang Gia Ba Tha came to the riverbank, clasped his hands and laughed and said: "Hey! Tieu tieu, don't be angry!" Saying so makes the river god even more upset. Then the river god said to the Buddha: "You see! Being in front of him, this Venerable is still calling me like that." The Buddha said: "I don't know! Five hundred generations ago, I was the servant of Ton Jia Tat Lang Gia Ba Tha, Ton Gia called me" a little girl "already used to it, now though I am a river god, but Sun Jia's qi practice has not changed. Because you have such a master-servant relationship,
14. Silver Fishing.
The name of this Sun fake translates as "Thien Dung", it is because the appearance of Ton Phien is serious. Religion in countless eons ago, specialized in the precepts of not killing. He specializes in this practice, not only manifesting without breaking the precepts, but the inside is also pure and pure, without initiating the idea of killing. Because of careful preservation, so sensing the fifth year of karmic retribution does not die.
When he was just born, he could speak, cheerfully say, "Parents, parents." Very cute and cute, but the parents panicked, thinking that He was a love of a transforming devil. Therefore, His mother was born with a wicked spirit and put Him in the oven to cook Him. But cook forever without dying, but also laugh for that game. His mother said, "This man is a demon who is not afraid of fire, but will certainly be afraid of water." Therefore, taking Him into the river would not die.
15. Ma Ha Verse Hi La .
The name of this Sun fake translates as "Dai Tat" (big knee), because His knee is very large. He is the uncle of His Excellency Abhidharma, before leaving the monk, he argued with the Buddha, betting: "If I lose, then cut off my head, if I win, I will lead you home." In the end, he argued that he lost, but the Buddha did not need to behead him but taught him to ordain. Mr. Ma Ha Cau Hi La is the most fearless defender, who is the most talented one. His Holiness with the Noble Phantasma are customary them of the Buddha (They always follow the Buddha).
16. Nan Da.
The Buddha had three disciples who were all called Nan Da: Nan Da, Amanda, and Ton Da La Nan Da. This Nan Da is the only Reporter Niu Nan Da (Nan Da cowherd), translated as "Thien Hoan Happy". Because he asked the Buddha eleven things to raise cows, knowing that the full Buddha of Nhat Thiet Tri followed the Buddha's ordination and attained Arhat results. He's very smart, has great sound.
17. Ton Da La Nan Da.
The name of this Sun fake takes the name of his wife (Ton Da La) that is the name, because he loves his wife. Ton Da La translates as "kindness" or "righteousness", the appearance of his wife is the ultimate beauty, is the most beautiful person in India. Therefore, Mr. Ton Da La Nan Da loves his wife very much. When the Buddha saw that his predestined relationship was ripe, he wanted to allow him to leave home (He was a half-brother from the Buddha). But He could not leave his beautiful wife, so he did not want to leave home. Therefore, the Buddha used the method of the discipline. One day, the Buddha entered the royal palace for alms, wanted him to embrace the Buddha's bowl of the Pure Land, but he took steps step by step without wanting to leave his wife, but did not dare to deny his brother's command. Buddha), thus explaining to his wife the reason for leaving. Sun Da La spat out the saliva in her palm,
Religion promised to return immediately, not expecting Tinh Xa Ky Hoan then, Buddha did not let Sun fake come home but wanted Sun fake to leave home, so down the hair for Sun fake. However, he was ordained, but every day, Ton Gia wanted to find the opportunity to escape home, because Ton Jia did not let go of Ton Da La!
The Buddha saw that Religion was always sad and unhappy, so he took him to the mountain to travel. Arriving on the mountain to see the monkeys playing, the Buddha asked: "Please compare these monkeys with Ton Da La who is more beautiful?" How do you compare with Ton Da La. " Buddha said: "You are very intelligent, can distinguish between beauty and ugliness, okay, we're back." Returning, Ton Jia remembers his wife unrelenting, but always wants to escape but has no chance.
The Buddha saw that Religion was sad and unhappy, this time Buddha took him to the heavens to travel, saw the celestial palace is beautiful and solemn, there was a heaven, inside there were many beautiful and beautiful fairies. The Buddha asked the Buddha: "Do you think these fairies are more beautiful or is Ton Da La more beautiful?" Ton Gianoi: "Of course, the goddess is more beautiful, the goddess Ton Da La compares with the goddess just like the monkey compared to Ton Da La, how can Ton Da La compare with the fairy!" Sun Jia saw beautiful fairies but could not see her master, so he asked the fairies: "Who is your master?" The goddess replied: "Our owner is the Buddha's younger brother, Sun Shikununi. Now he is following the Buddhist practice, in the next generation he will be born in this heaven, we will serve him. " Sun Jia heard that his mind was extremely happy,
This time back, Ton Gia completely forgot Ton Da La, but only remembered the fairies. So, the Buddha changed his attitude before, on the contrary, he was very diligent in practicing his practice, but the Buddha knew that the Buddha only wanted to cultivate to be born in heaven to be the master of the fairies. Therefore, one day, the Buddha took the Buddha to go to hell to see. Going to hell, you see the real dreadful situation, which is: mountains, boiling oil pans, fire tunnels, all kinds of hell, making people sweat, whole body tremble! At last, when he came to hell, there were two demons holding a pan of boiling oil but no one was in it, and asked the devil, "Why is there no one in this boiling oil pan?" Devil replied: "I do not know, this boiling oil pan is for the brother of the Buddha, that is, Sun Zhuo Da La Nan Da, now has followed the Buddha's monkhood, Suffering, no, impermanence, no-self. At that time, Sun fake effort to practice spiritual practice soon attained Arhat results. Suffering, no, impermanence, no-self. At that time, Sun fake effort to practice spiritual practice soon attained Arhat results.
However, at first, Sun Jia greatly missed his wife, but since seeing that the fairies were too beautiful than their wives, Ton Jia did not miss his wife anymore. Once you know suffering in hell, then truly develop a spiritual mind. If you do not know suffering in hell, then Sun fake will not develop a spiritual mind.
18. Phu Lau Na Di Da La Ni Tu.
Phu Lau Na translates as "Man", is the name of his father. Di Da La Ni translated as "From", which is the name of His mother. The meaning of the name is Man From Tu Tu. When He was just born, the gods in the sky poured jewels down his house that was a auspicious omen. He is the first Arahant sermon among the Buddha's disciples.
