HOW IS NOW.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.

In Buddhism, karma is a concept used to refer to the general law of cause and effect. Each action (karma) under a certain condition will create a result.
What is karma
What is karma

What is karma?

Karma is what people have to take from the karma that they have created in the near and distant past of this previous life or this life. However, it is important that when karma has not yet been formed, people can still transfer karma, that is, cause karma to change (to slow or decrease the performance, impact, influence) by creating new karma (new causes and conditions) have the opposite nature.

Karma has the following ideas:

  • Behavior, action, activity, behavior, status, including 3 behaviors of mind, mouth, and body;
  • Traces and results saved from 3 acts of karma the potential operational capacity - predestined cause that results from behaviors that will eventually produce other results;
  • Acts of evil, harm, confusion;
  • Pure happiness (sa. Anubhāva);
  • Effort, diligence, striving (sa. Vyāyama).
Karma is the creation of human thoughts, words, and behaviors. Man is the owner of karma, creating karma, so how karma is decided by man, creating his own merit or painting, happiness or suffering.

The activity of body, speech, and mind means the regular creation of human beings. We constantly create good or bad karma, good or evil, good or evil. How to create karma will lead to the corresponding results that we have to receive. So karma is not everything created in the past life (past karma), but also what was created in this past life and what is created in the present (karma of this life) . There are many things people receive in the present (joy, sadness, happiness, suffering) as a result of newly created karma.

The retribution in the law of cause and effect has two forms.

1.  Cause and effect  simultaneously: Cause and effect produce immediately or only after a short time. For example, putting your hand on fire will become hot, eat immediately, and so on
There are three types:
  • Presentation : Creating karma in this life must receive karma right in this life. For example  , gambling and alcohol (career) lead to poverty, debt, and disdain for others.
  • Born newspaper : Creating karma in this life but not until the next generation will receive karma. For example, this life cultivates virtue but comes later to be reborn as a blessed wealth.
  • After the newspaper : Creating karma in this life, until many later generations will receive the karma. Because there is a birth, after that there is a phenomenon that seems paradoxical, there are people in this life who practice virtue and good deeds but suffer from poverty, unhappiness and suffering; There are people in this world who are lazy and even wicked but still peaceful, rich and happy.
Understanding the karma or the origin, the cause of all human suffering and happiness; Understanding that man is the owner of karma and no one else, he has the freedom to create karma and has the ability to change karma (we will change karma), we will see that karma is a must when good life, want to change his life to be happy in the present, and build a good foundation for the future.

Changing karma is changing karma and karma by changing mind.

Karma is the activity of mind through three karmic actions, speech, and mind. The mind is pure, righteous, and good, thoughts, words, and actions are good, good for oneself, and good for others.

Bad, negative, unwholesome minds, thoughts, words, actions are all evil and harmful to us and people. When the mind has a positive change, it will lead to the transformation of the three karmas in a positive direction. That is to create good karma in the present, these karma have the ability to influence, change, minimize the ability to create bad karma of the unwholesome karma created in the past, and they are also bring about good and positive karma in the future. END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.3/3/2020.
