Immediately after the master Koṇḍañña had attained Nibbana, his Dharma continued to propagate for about one hundred thousand years.
Immediately after the master Koṇḍañña had attained Nibbana, his Dharma continued to propagate for about one hundred thousand years. After the disciples of Buddha Koṇḍañña[151] disappear, his Dharma will disappear. And following the Buddha Koṇḍañña, just after an A-ten-time passed, up to four Buddha was born in the same life, that is Maṅgala, Sumana, Revata, Sobhita.[152] Including Buddha Maṅgala [153] is the world leader, having completed all the paramitas in the sixteen (A-rising-period) and one hundred thousand lifetimes. He was born in the city of heaven where productivity and residing there throughout his life (longevity). There was a disturbance about the Buddha[154] (rumor) emerged with the year of foreshadowing.[155] Because the gods of the Ten Thousand Great Gods, the World had gathered in this world and asked him, saying:
[ 142 ] This is the time for him: great hero, be born into the womb. Help people and gods overcome all floods, hope that he will be Enlightened immortal law.[156]
After the gods had requested so, he passed away from the Tushita heavenly realm and he performed five great investigations.[157]. He was born in the heart of a queen named Uttarā in the harem of a unique king (anuttara) named Uttara in the city of Uttara, surpassing all other cities. Then there are a multitude of strange signs - this should be understood precisely according to the method mentioned in the Chronicle of the Buddha Dipaṅkara.[158]
Since the time when Lord Maṅgala, an omen for the whole world, has been born in the womb of Empress Uttarā, the splendid beauty of the queen, spreading throughout the day and night at the eighth level thirty cubit, always exist never off with the moon sunlight. And the splendid beauty of his body completely repelled the darkness, leaving no trace of light, always moving there when the queen was cared for by sixty-eight mothers. They claim that with the help of the last Empress Devas who were born after ten months of pregnancy, the Great Human Maṅgala in Uttara-madhura entertainment place. Right after Dai Nhan was born, while contemplating the four corners of the world and walking seven steps to the north, he uttered a very majestic sentence.[159] Meanwhile, the gods of the Ten Thousand Great Gods and the World also present their original form with their bodies and limbs decorated with garlands of gods, their mouths always giving out words of victory, good omen and compliments. And there are strange things as mentioned above. 2 And it came to the day of naming him the strangers who explained, "He came to earth with all the splendor and splendor of an auspicious sign." So people named him Maṅgala (meaning good omen).
He has three castles with names respectively: Yasavā. Sucimā, Sirīmā. There were thirty thousand dancers serving him headed by Yasavatī. For about nine thousand years Dai Nhan has experienced happiness there, just like the happiness brought by the gods. He gave birth to a son named Sīlava by his wife named Yasavatī. When he realized the four strange signs and ordained through a great ordination on a magnificent, beautifully decorated horse named Paṇḍara. So he became a monk in that situation, in a monastic ordination there were three million million. Those who followed his example surrounded the Great Human and tried to make an ascetic struggle for eight months.
And then, after having a meal of sweet milk with nutrients, the gods were brought to him on the full moon day of the Visākha month offered by Uttarā, she was the daughter of a merchant named Uttara residing in Uttara village, He spent a temporary stay in the Salā forest. He received eight bundles of hay from Uttara, a naked hermit who offered him and went on like a lewd elephant surrounding the Bodhi tree of Nāga (kim-carpentry). He stood to the northeast and spread his fists of hay to a width of fifty-eight cubit. Meditating on the lotus seat there, he resolutely determined based on his effort to attain the four essential factors,[160] He smashed the Demon King along with his army. Achieving Tuc intelligent network and natural smart label. Contemplating about predestined states,
[ 143 ] contemplating the five aggregates related to impermanence etc ..., to the right time he attained enlightenment Chief Justice of the unique and uttered the following solemn statements:
"Through so many rebirths in samsaric existence ... I have attained destruction of all desires." [161]
The splendor of the body of Maṅgala, the Chief of the Enlightened One, surpasses even the splendor of the Buddha Gautama. Because while the splendor of the Buddha's body is due to only eighty cubit or a light around the body, the Buddha's Maṅgala exists forever to shine to the Ten Great Gods and the Lady of the World. Trees, hills, cliffs, thick walls, hard gates, etc. They could penetrate like covered with a piece of gold cloth. His life span was ninety hundred thousand years. For all people of the same age, life expectancy only lasts about nine thousand years. For the entire time there is the bright light of the moon, the sun, and the stars, etc., which is unclear. As well as the delineation between day and night[162] In the daytime beings travel around and do all sorts of things thanks to the constant aura of the Enlightened One enlightened as if sunlight and sentient beings realize the discernment between day and night in the way the flower blooms. in the morning and birds chirp in the evening. But is there no Buddha who has this authority? They could not have been, even though these problems have many Buddhas wishing to shine on the Ten Great Gods of the World or to surpass the light. Only the brilliant appearance of the Buddha Maṅgala exists to continuously shine hundreds of thousands of the Ten Thousand Great Gods and the World.
It is said that at one time he was a Bodhisattva with the same personal characteristics as the Bodhisattva Vessantara, who was living with his wife and children on top of a mountain called Vaṅka.[163] Then there was a goblin who eats people[164] named Kharadāṭhika, who constantly harassed all sentient beings, heard the Great Man's inclination to alms and elves pretending to be a brahmin and asked him about the two children. The Great Lord thought, "Will I give this man to my two children?" He joyfully and joyfully handed the two children to elves, and the earth immediately shook to the edge of the ocean. Then, while the Great Human was still seeing the goblin, he immediately removed the truth of the brahmin and grabbed the two little children and squeezed them into a bunch of edible lotus roots. The eyes were bloodshot because of dissatisfaction and fierce enthusiasm, the terrible teeth were very rough and long, its body like a log as long as eight coconut trees. When the Great Lord recognized the goblin and saw its empty mouth filled with blood drenched like flames extinguished.[165] Anything will emerge.[166] On the contrary, his enthusiasm and happiness filled his body. He immediately wished, "The result of this shall not be the same as the radiance emanating from me in the future." Immediately the result of this wish was manifested, the rays radiating from his body after he became a Buddha and flooded the whole region to the extent we mentioned above.
And there was another event[167] Another happened. It is said that when the Bodhisattva saw the sanctuary of the Buddha[168]
[ 144 ] he thought, "I must sacrifice my life for him." Then he wrapped the cloth tightly around himself like holding a small lamp wrapped around it, and then he filled the shiny fresh butter on it like pouring butter into a golden vase that was encrusted with precious stones. hundreds of thousands of gold coins (Kahapana), and then lit a hundred thousand lamp burns with fire and he planned to burn his entire body from head to toe. He went around the temple in such a condition. But as he struggled like that until the morning, there was not even one of his pores scorched, as if during that time he had gone into the belly of a lotus[169]. Indeed this Dharma protected him and he also defended himself. His results were as follows:
"The Dharma really protects the Dharma practitioners.
Practicing the Dharma will bring happiness.
This is the benefit while practicing the Dharma.
People who practice the Dharma will not fall into misery. * "
Practicing the Dharma will bring happiness.
This is the benefit while practicing the Dharma.
People who practice the Dharma will not fall into misery. * "
And it is considered as a result of the Buddha's karmic illumination which continues to spread to the ten thousand Great Gods and the World, so it is said that:
l. Following the Buddha Koṇḍañña, a red-headed leader, Maṅgala, held up the Dharma torch that eradicates all sorrows all over the world.
2. His brilliant light is unbeatable. Outperforming other victors, shutting off both sunlight and moon. He shines on ten thousand of the world's women.
1. Dharma torch: Now the word "Ukka" torch should be considered as having many different meanings, as in the pot.[171] cooking metal of a silversmith, etc. as it is said: “After gold clamping with tongs, the silversmiths dipped gold into a boiling pot. (ukka-mukkhe) "* 1 - in the passage to the furnace:" We should understand the preparation of the furnace; After they had prepared the furnace, they put fire into a melting furnace. * * 2 This is the fan of the silversmith in the following excerpt: inside, not burning outside ”* 3 this is the furnace of the silversmith. In the following excerpt:
The result will be on all those who are emerging like alcohol * 4 who are emerging here means the power of the wind.[172]. In the text passed on: "When they are carrying torches (ukkā)" * 5 torches (ukkā) here are considered as lamps. Here too the torch (ukkā) means the lamp. That is why he held up the torch (ukkā, or lamp) consisting of Dharma. The point is this: he carries a torch of Dharma to cover the darkness of ignorance of the world being ignorant.
[145] 2. being unrivaled means champion[173] Or this is an explanation. The meaning here is that no other Buddha can match.
2. For other Winners means to those who win other battles.
2. Overshadowing the beauty of the sun and the moon means dimming the full light of the sun and the moon.[174]
2. Illuminating in the Ten Greatness of Heaven Our Lady The World means that you shine on our Ten Great Gods The World is simply by the light of a Buddha not the light of the sun or the moon .
After Maṅgala, the Enlightened One, himself attained Enlightenment himself, he spent seven weeks at the Bodhi tree. After agreeing with the Brahma's request for Dharma teaching, and thinking, "Who do I have to teach Dharma to?" He realized that up to three million million bhikkhus had ordained with him, being endowed with good gifts.[175] Then it happened to him, "The sons of these honorable families, who are also bestowed with wonderful gifts, also ordained when we leave home, but I chased them on the full moon day. Visakha months because of their detached attitude, they are living near the city of Sirivaḍḍha in the wood plantation. Come here, I will teach them the teachings there. ” After taking alms bowls and robes and flying to the sky like the red, royal goose. He landed in the wood plantation of Siri. And when these bhikkhus respect the Buddha and have performed the duties of the disciples[176] they immediately sat around the Buddha. The Buddha Maṅgala immediately explained to them the sermon on turning Falun in the manner of cultivation of all Buddhas. Therefore more than three million million Bhikkhu khưu has reached the level of A-la-Han. Performed a thorough understanding of the Fa conference up to one hundred thousand thousand million people including gods and humans. Therefore it is said that:
IV 3. This Buddha also interprets the Four Noble Truths extremely gloriously. Everyone who drank the water of this sole eliminates the darkness.
4. After he attained Enlightenment, there was no joy at the time when teaching the Buddha Dharma for the first time took place in the Dharma Assembly for about one hundred thousand thousand million beings.
3. Brackets are extremely glorious, which means the truth of glory is the base of glory. The meaning is the supreme foot. "The Four Noble Truths is very supreme" is also an interpretation. The meaning here is that his four noble truths are very sublime.
3. Brackets essence means they have drunk immortal essence to thoroughly understand the four noble truths.
3. Being removed from the gloomy darkness means that they can eliminate, they dispel the chaotic darkness that is to be removed in one way or another.
4. Being reached means having grasped.
4. Enlightenment: in this case the word Enlightenment (bodhi) means: Holy Path, Holy Fruit and Nibbana in Bodhi Tree, as well as naming. And omniscience is as expected from the bodhi transmitted[179].
[146] [180] In such a context, "Enlightenment is understood as the understanding of the four paths" * 1 is conveyed as follows. "That leads to calm, victory, Enlightenment (sambodhayā) níp-table" * 2 This is understood to be the result. "After having attained Enlightenment, immortality and immortality." * 3 Here we have to understand is Níp Table. "Between Bodhi and Gayā * 4 At this point this is the Assattha Tree" Prince Bodhi Bodhi Bodhisattva bowed down to the Buddha's feet "* 5. - This is a naming method. “Glory, great intelligence. He has attained Right Enlightenment. " * 6 - In this regard this is omniscience. Here too the omniscient mind should be understood as "the position of the holy Arahant is not wrong."[181]
4. Unable to stand (champion) means to lack the opponent. exceeded the level; The meaning here is: the meaning cannot be measured, so it should be understood as follows: After the Buddha had attained enlightenment and was interpreting the Dharma in the first Dharma interpretation.
And when Buddha was standing near the gate of the Citta citadel at the base of the Champak tree - like our Buddha standing under the tree Gaṇḍamba[182] he performed Song Thong to control the pride and pride of other denomination groups. (Then) sitting on an ornate stone at the base of the Coral Tree in the residence of the Three Gorges, in such a glorious residence composed of brilliant gold and silver and in a residence greatness of the young gods and the monks.[183] he gave a lecture on the Abhidharma.
+
Because of this, a thorough assembly of the Fa conference took place for one hundred thousand and ten million million Buddhas. This was the second insight for the Fa conference. And in Surabhi City,[184] There was a reincarnation named Sunanda who completed the duties of reincarnating, he had acquired the chakras. It is said that when Maṅgala, the Buddha Tathagata, emerged in this world, King Sunanda saw the chakras return from his residence. His happiness diminished, and he asked the brahmans, saying, "Why is this chakras created by my ingenuity and strength back to my original home?" ? "That's why they explained to the king that the king's longevity was about to fulfill or from when he became a monk or from the appearance of this Buddha, the chakras were returning to their original places. ” When they said so, they went on to say: But sir, this is not the passing away of your life because you have a long life span. It is because of Maṅgala,[185]
When he heard this, Sunanda, the king who turned the king and the subjects worshiping Chakras bowed his head to the ground, invoked Bao Chak venerable Maṅgala, Germany Tathagata Cross Force. Please do not disappear: then Bao Chakras stood where they were.
Then Sunanda, reincarnating again felt the ultimate happiness back to a crowd of people stretching for nearly thirty-six weeks surrounded by yojana. Having approached Maṅgala, the Tathagata Tathagata, auspicious sign for everyone in this world, he offered to the guru and his Sangha a great almsgiving. He bestowed on the dyed yellow saffron for about one hundred thousand Arahats and bestowed all the necessary needs for the Tathagata. Respect for the Buddha that has surprised the whole worldly world. After approaching Maṅgala, the protector of the whole world, worship him
[ 147 ] together applauded him like lotuses without stains, the ten-finger stain of his nails touched each other,[186] he raised his hand above his head and sat down at a distance of worship before listening to the Dharma. And his son, named Prince Anurāja, sat down and listened to the Buddha Dharma like that.
The Buddha then made a very gentle conversation with them, including Sunanda, the king who turned the king, leading the group of listeners. Sunanda, the king turned king, along with a group of followers, attained Arahantship with the analytical wisdom. Then the guru, saw the good deeds[187] they have done in the past and also realized the qualities of alms bowls and robes of robes performed due to the power of magical power, raised their right hand to be adorned with brilliant wheels.[188] Then he said, "Thien Lai Bhikkhu khưu" At that moment all of them were down to long hair[189] two knuckles, they carried alms bowls and miraculously wore robes with their own magical powers like the famous Elders for hundreds of years. And very suitable to wear robes like that. After paying homage to the master, the Buddha Maṅgala, they surrounded him. This is the Third Reunion of the Dharma Assembly. Therefore it is said that:
IV. 5. When the Buddha Maṅgala gave a sermon at the celestial residence of the head of the gods, there was a Second Dharma Execution for nine thousand ten million beings.[190]
When Lord Sunanda, the king turned king, came to the Chief of the Enlightenment Immediately, he immediately tapped the Buddha's drum of supreme glory.
The crowd followed Sunanda to number ninety thousand million. And [191] all of them do not exclude a person who has ordained as a "Thien Lai Bhikkhu"[192]
5. In this case, the Chu Thien residence of the Chu Thien leader means again: at the residence of the angel.[193]
6. Glorious extreme means are glorious glorious Buddha Mangala, while peak is the ultimate Dharma Drum.
7. It is assumed to have[196] "then[197] there have been ninety thousand million ”is also an explanation. The crowd belongs to him[198]. How many people in the crowd? The meaning here is ninety thousand million.
Then it was said that while Maṅgala, the guardian of the world, was staying in the city of Mekhala, Sudeva and Dhammasena, there were ten thousand Brahmin[199] surrounded also ordained in the same city with the call "Thien Lai Bhikkhu khưu" (this is the renunciation formula) has ordained immediately in the presence of Buddha Maṅgala.
When the two supreme novels and their entourage attained Arahantship on the full moon day of January Magha, the guru chanted the Precepts right in the middle of the Sangha and followed them up to one hundred thousand thousand million bhikkhus. . This is the first Sangha. Also, even in the city that could not be compared with the main Uttarārāma in a gathering of his close relatives, he also chanted the Precepts for a Sangha of about one thousand ten million people.[200] ordained. In a gathering (surrounding?) Sunanda, who was transformed into a monarch, he also chanted the Precepts before the witness of tens of thousands of thousands of millions of millions.[201] the Bhikkhu khưu. This is the third Sangha. Therefore it has been said that:
[ 148 ] IV. 8. The great hermit Maṅgala gathered three Sangha: The first Sangha had one hundred thousand thousand million people attended.
9. The second Sangha is about one thousand ten million people[202] The third sangha also included ninety thousand ten thousand people who ended up illegally or became immaculate.
At that time, our Bodhisattva was a Suruci brahmin in a Suruci Brahmin village. He was a thorough teacher of three Phe Da[203], adept at words and rituals along with Phonetics and interpretation. And according to folklore is the fifth person: he is adept at folk proverbs, understanding grammar, mastering folk philosophy and reading the generals of Dai Nhan. He immediately went to the teacher, listened to him lecture one. After taking refuge, he invited the Buddha and his Sangha, saying, "Come to your son's life tomorrow," the Buddha said, "Brahmin, how many of you can invite Bhikkhu khưu to attend? " he asked. "But how many bhikkhus are in your entourage?" It seems that only the first Sangha gathered. That's why he said. "About one hundred thousand and ten million people." Brahmin Suruci immediately asked, saying. “If there are so many people, please come and have dinner with me with them all.
When Brahmin invited the Buddha to dine the next day and come to his home, he thought, "I am able to provide a feast of sweet milk rice, rice and medicine for all the bhikkhus. hey, but how can there be a place for them to sit? ” They thought that this thought of him made the rock adorned by the Thousand-Eye Emperor became hot right on the top of the mountain.i Meru is about eighty-four weeks tall (yojana). Then Thien Chu (Sakka), the king of the gods. After realizing His seat was heating up, he immediately thought, "Now, who wants me down from this seat?" Explaining what happened, he saw the human world with an eye of the gods and saw the Great Lord he thought. "This person invited the sangha monks with the Chief of the Enlightenment Leadership to think about his benefits and regarding being able to share merit." The Divine Landlord (Sakka) pretending to be a carpenter, holding an ax and a hammer in his hand appeared before the Great Lord and said, "Do you need to hire someone to work as a carpenter? After seeing the Great God (Sakka) the Great Lord said, "What kind of work can you do?" “There is no job that we cannot do, anyone who wants to do any job: a hall, or a royal palace or any residence, we have the ability to do so immediately. " Alright, I need to do a job. "" What is it, sir? " "Tomorrow, I will invite one hundred thousand thousand million bhikkhus to your brother's house to build a great hall for them to sit in." "I can do this job if you can pay for me. " I can do it, monsieur. ” Very well, I will build for you. ” Thien Chu (Sakka) said that and looked around to see the scene of the building of the great hall. There was a very suitable place about twelve by week (yojana), the flat surface was like a kasiṇa circle I need to do a job. "" What is it, sir? " "Tomorrow I will invite one hundred thousand lakh million Bhikkhu khưu to attend the monks to build your house to build me a great hall as a place for them to sit" "I can do this job if you can pay for me. " I can do it, sir. " I can do it, monsieur. ” Very well, I will build for you. ” Thien Chu (Sakka) said that and looked around to see the scene of the building of the great hall. There was a very suitable place about twelve by week (yojana), the flat surface was like a kasiṇa circle[204] Looking again, Thien Chu (Sakka) thought, "In this part of the view, there will be the most beautiful great hall ever. Up to seven types of gems. ”
[ 149 ] Because of this, a great hall instantly emerged from a ground crack that was about the size of a great hall. There were capital letters on silver pillars, and gold letters on silver pillars, incense sticks on gemstones, and gemstones on wooden columns, there are uppercase letters made of seven stones on pillars made of seven precious stones.
So he looked at it and thought, "Hang in the hall little bells and jangling bells hanging alternately". when there is a gentle breeze that makes the sounds, it is very sweet, like five types of instruments. That scene is like the time of reciting Sutras. He thought again, hanging between those small bells filled with sweet scents filled with the fragrance of fairies, garlands, garlands, and gemstones. " With that in mind immediately the strings of flowers were hung alternately into it. He thought, "May the precious and appropriate seats and seats be presented to the bhikkhus enough for about one hundred thousand thousand million to appear from the earth." All of that emerged from the ground immediately. He wished again, "May the washbasin rise up all over the corner of the hall." At that moment the water bottles emerged, the mouths of the pots were covered with banana leaves and filled with cold, sweet, pure water, with a sweet aroma and suitable for each user. The Thousand Eye, after having done all these works, immediately came to a brahmin teacher and said, "Sir, come and see the great hall, and pay the construction work for me." The Great Person came to see the great hall and contemplated it carefully, and when he did that, his whole body was flushed with five types of hazelnuts. After having done all of this work, he went to a brahmin teacher and said, "Sir, come and see the great hall, and pay the construction cost to me." The Great Person came to see the great hall and contemplated it carefully, and when he did that, his whole body burst with five types of hazelnuts. After having done all of this work, he went to a brahmin teacher and said, "Sir, come and see the great hall, and pay the construction cost to me." The Great Person came to see the great hall and contemplated it carefully, and when he did that, his whole body was flushed with five types of hazelnuts.[205]
Then, while he was looking at the great hall, what happened to him was: “This great hall is not made by people. because of my intention, of course it is due to the special grace that I have, the residence of the Heavenly Father (Sakka), the king of the Heavenly Prince, became warmer. Therefore, this great hall was created by Thien Chu (Sakka), the king of Thien Chu. It is not right to perform almsgiving in this great hall for only a day. I will do almsgiving within a week. ”
But the generosity of material appearances, however large they may be, cannot cause our Bodhisattva mind to rejoice. The Bodhisattva's joy depends on the ritual they perform in almsgiving - even if they have to cut their heads and tear their eyes to tear their hearts.[206] At Sivijātaka[207] while our Bodhisattva is spending daily about five hundred thousand kahāpaṇas every day to distribute alms at the four city gates and in the middle of the city, this alms cannot give rise to him. sacrifice sacrifice when he is doing alms. But on the other hand, when Heavenly Master (Sakka), Prince of Heaven, disguised as a Brahmin appeared and asked His eyes, He then took His eyes and gave them to him. The joy that arises when he is doing almsgiving and there is nothing contrary in his mind even if he is only giving a small amount only by the tip of a hair. So the Bodhisattva is not satisfied with giving.
That is why when Dai Nhan also thought that he had to make alms to the bhikkhus with the number of one hundred thousand thousand million. He let them sit in that hall for a week and gave them their alms called gavapāna.[208] Gavapana
[ 150 ] that is, fill the jars with milk and bring it to the oven, adding the milled rice grains little by little to the milk until it is ready, when cooked, the meal is prepared with how to add a mixture of honey, jaggery and fresh avocado. This meal is also simply called “a meal served with four sweets.[209] Men alone cannot service them; but also the gods, one by one and a monk served for them. But that place, even if it is twelve due to the week (yojana), is not enough to accommodate all the bhikkhus. so the Bhikkhu khưu must sit down each person in the way created by the majesty of their own magical powers. On the last day of the Brahmin (Suruci) wash all alms bowls for the bhikkhus and after filling them with fresh avocado, butter, honey, molasses, etc. treatment, he also gives each Bhikkhu khưu three y Ca sa. Newly ordained bhikkhus in the Sangha also receive robes and robes worth hundreds of thousands [210] money (kahāpaṇas).
When the guru was doing almsgiving he thought, "Now, who is this man to make such a great alms?" While he was still contemplating like that he saw that person and thought in his mind, "In the future about one hundred thousand lifetimes and two Arahants, he will become a Buddha with a red name." is Cồn Đàm. " Speaking to this Great Lord, he signed the letter. “When this time period is over, he will become a Buddha whose name is Ga Dam. When the Great Human listened to the life of the Buddha, his heart became extremely excited. “Because he said that I will become Buddha one day, I no longer need life in real life anymore; I will become a renunciate. " and renounce all possessions like a bank of saliva. He conducted renunciations in the presence of the guru. When he heard the words of the Buddha and attained the victory position and the eight meditations, he continued to live the rest of his life, attentively meditating incessantly. He was reborn in the Brahma realm[211] Therefore it is said that:
IV. 10. At the time I was a Brahmin named Suruci, a chanter, and an expert in mantra interpretation and mastery of Tam Phe Da.[212]
11. Coming closer to him, taking refuge in the guru, we pay respect to the Sangha with the Chief of the Faculty of Enlightenment headed by all sorts of aromas and garlands. When we have worshiped them with the fragrance and the wreath we feel like our hearts are refreshed with gavapāna.
12. And the Buddha, the supreme Maṅgala among men, has also signed on me as follows: "Countless lives after this man will become a Buddha."
13. When you have made constant strides, practiced the ascetic practices .... ".... then we will meet this person."
14. When we have heard his words, we have made even more determination. I have determined to practice to attain the ten dharmas.
[ 151 ] 15. Increment[214] zealously then to achieve the noble Samyaksambuddha. I have given up worldly property to Buddha and ordained in his presence.
16. After having thoroughly studied the Sutta Pitaka and the Vinaya and the entire nine-limb teachings of the guru, one enlightened the entire Dharma of the Victorious One.
17. In this matter, while living diligently, cultivating and developing Brahma, after having attained perfection in the place of victory we have come to the world of Brahma.[215]
11. In this case with fragrance and garland[216] means with fragrance[217] as with the wreaths.[218]
14. We are determined to practice more, which means we are determined to cultivate more. Because the goal is to complete ten Dharma Paramitas[222]
15. Enthusiastic means enthusiasm in the soul.
15. To attain Right Samyaksambuddha glory means to attain Buddhahood.
15. We dedicate to the Buddha means we make sacrifices for the Buddha.
15. Our physical assets mean worldly possessions[224] The meaning is: after sacrificing all the wealth for the Buddha, the Buddha, in order to serve the four needs of the bhikkhus.
17. In this regard means the Buddha's Dharma
17. Brahma Brahma means cultivating and developing Brahma.
And the Buddha City of Ma trúgala resides as Uttara, and his father is the King of the Nobility, the Emperor, also known as Uttara. His mother is also named Uttara. Sudeva and Dhammasena are the two supernatural men of his writing, an assistant to life named Pālita; Sīvalā and Asokā were his two female superior writers. And his Bodhi tree is the Nāga.[225] His body is about eighty eight cubit high. Longevity[226] His lasted ninety thousand years; and his wife's name is Yasavatī his son's name is Sīlava[227]; he ordained on horseback and abided in the Temple named Uttara, and the attendant in his monastery was called Uttara. The Blessed One experienced it[228] ninety thousand years and when he passed away Nibbana in the world of the Ten Great Gods, the Lady of the World was momentarily engulfed in darkness and where all the women in the world lamented and wept. suffering in men, therefore it is said that:
IV. 18. The name of the city is Uttara. Uttara is also the name of the aristocratic aristocrat Uttarā is also the name of the mother of Buddha Maṅgala, the great hermit.
23. Sudeva and Dhammasena are the supreme male writer. Pālita is the name of the assistant who cares for Maṅgala, the great hermit.
24. Sīvalā and Asokā are his two female superior writers, the Bodhi tree of Buddha is said to be the Nāga tree.
[ 152 ] 26. The great sage is about eighty-eight ratana. Out of him hundreds of thousands of thousands of incalculable halo.
His normal life span is ninety thousand years. Living so long, he made many people overcome the waterfall.
Just as we cannot count the ocean waves, so we cannot count the number of his disciples.
Because of how long the leader was called Maṅgala, the Chief of Enlightenment was still alive, he still could not finish the defilements that exist in the Dharma.
