Back in the monastery, I had many times to sit down to eat with the lamas and the meal was nothing but bread. Other times we eat only fresh vegetables with fruit. At first, because I was familiar with the previous usual diet of different foods, I felt hungry; but soon, I enjoyed a simple meal, just black bread or just a single fruit. Sometimes, a meal with only vegetables is enough to make me like a party. Here, I don't want to recommend that you limit your meals to only one food, and I don't recommend that you remove meat from the menu. What I recommend is that you separate starchy foods, fruits and vegetables from meat, fish and chicken, which means you shouldn't eat them at the same time.
You can eat a whole meat meal, and if you want, you can use different types of meat for a meal. Or you can also eat butter, eggs and cheese along with meat or bread and end up with black coffee or tea. But you can't end a meal like that with anything sweet or made of flour - no cakes, jams or candies. Avocado is a food that can be used with both foods mentioned above. At first, I thought it was a waste to remove the egg white as it was a delicious food; then I realized that the whites are only used for muscle and we only eat it after working with muscles.
I still know that egg yolk is a nutritious food, but I only understood its true value after speaking to a Westerner at the monastery who had a solid understanding of biochemistry. He explained that chicken eggs generally contain half the nutrients needed for the brain, nerves and internal organs. And the body only needs to absorb these essential nutrients in small amounts, but it needs to be weighed appropriately to the level of nutrition if you really want to be fit and healthy both mentally and physically. body.
In addition, the lamas taught me another important thing to eat slowly to chew food thoroughly. Chewing thoroughly is the first important step to make the puree food easier to absorb. The second thing that terrifies me is that people have eaten too much food at one meal. Because I was used to one or two dishes at a meal, one day I was dumbfounded to count all 23 dishes on the banquet table. That is why so many people on this earth must be constantly sick, sick, because they know nothing about the relationship between nutrition and health. Eating the right food, having the right combination of foods, eating the right amount and eating right, are the key to producing miraculous results. If you are overweight, the above foods will help you lose weight; Conversely if you are thin it will help you gain weight.
