Buddha was born nearly half a century, sermon on 300 congregations, said 84,000 disciplines, any rights, losses, felling, shops, facilities are taught display; in general, there are only two parts: the dharma form and the dharma nature. The only consciousness is one of the Dharma General.

Li Duy wake, in the scriptures, Buddha said much. Later, the Bodhisattvas extracted and re-arranged them according to the system.

Like about 900 years, after the Buddha's extinction, there was His Bodhisattva Thien, according to the Sutras, written through the book "The Third Noble Truth", etc. sequentially explain the book "The only way of three decades" set up ten sets of discourses. Among them, the legal department of the dharmapala is the most complete.

In the Tang dynasty, in China, there were Tripitaka Dharma Master Xuanzang, supernatural intelligence, outstanding intelligence, developed through India, studied Buddhism for 18 years (see Xuanzang's set of books), He is very informed about the only way. After returning to his home country, he translated many scriptures, of which the "Third Reincarnation" of the Bodhisattva Thien Than is one. He also collected the elite essences in 10 treatises of the 10 Great Masters, and translated them into Chinese characters, making them into a series of 10 volumes, dubbed "The Only Commentary Essay".

The great disciple of Xuanzang, Khuy Co, spent a period of several decades serving the Master, being taught about this Duy methodology, so he will explain the "The Duy Thanh method" to 60 volumes, named " Thanh Duy's epistemology. "

Later, Mr. Huyen Trang wanted to make it easier for learners to remember, so he should do 12 recitations (each with four sentences) summarizing the vast and gloomy meaning of the Duy consciousness, named "The Noble Conventions".

Granted, the book of Knowledge remains a lot, because the Bodhisattvas aim at many aspects of the Knowledge and analyze the explanation, but there are three obligations, from the past to the present, which are considered to be the true tone, which are the basis of the Knowledge-method:

1. Mahayana Ba Dharma Minh Mon Luan: Talk about the law (professional noun) of Duy consciousness.

2. Duy Thuc Tam Thap Chet: Talk about the main meaning of Duy consciousness.

3. Bat Cu Quy Lit Chanting: Summary of the vast meaning of Duy consciousness.

Later scholars either composed or explained the Duy Duy books, based on these three arguments, exploiting many aspects, then broadening or highlighting important points.

The duty of "Mahayana Dharma Master Mon disciple" and the duty of "The Eight Noble Truths" I have already translated and solved, united under the title of "The Only Enlightenment Introduction".

And the duty "Duy Thuc Tam Thap Tung", now completely translated. The content of this thesis, by the Bodhisattva Thien Than used the first 24 recitations, talking about the Prime Minister General, the 25th disc on Duy formalities, the following 5 are about the Knowledge of the consciousness; In other words: The only real scene, the final and the final result (see 2 signs at the end of this volume).

If you want to study about Duy Duy, you should first read these 3 arguments carefully. Just like a martial art apprentice, first he has to learn the way to draft, and then he has to piece after.

Magical instead! These three arguments, from the past to the present, do not know how many great commentators and scholars, nor will they ever solve them.

We should not have superficial thoughts: study the main text or read the rough explanation of these three treatises, then assume them to be complete. Must study forever, watch more, we will see the forest of Duy consciousness, so many beautiful and beautiful colors.

In Duy consciousness says "Formula A is da", that is to say about the dharma of beings, should be understandable, why is it so difficult to understand?

Although talking about the sentient beings, the beings are boundless, so words must be boundless; This is the hardest thing.

Again, the Zen religion is straight on "Mind" should not need linguistic writing; Duy Duy re-declared the means, using words and language. Using self-written texts and speech, immeasurable reasons, so words must be many, words must be deep; This is the second hardest thing.

Because of the two hard things above, this subject of Knowledge was once obscured, until today people learn the Buddha, many also avoid places where it is difficult to find an easy place: hearing about Duy consciousness then declines. Sometimes people try to learn, but don't see the entrance!

Dai Vien has embraced goodwill long ago, so for this difficult has repeatedly noted.

The first foundation of Duy learning is the volume:

"Mahayana Dharma Master Mon discourse"  and  "Duy Thuc Tam Thap Chet" .
