The word "Tao" said here refers to the attainment of the enlightened Buddhas and is also the place for all Bodhisattvas to practice their mind towards.

This thesis has five chapters, in the third chapter, there are three parts: the first part explains the Mahayana dharma; The second part, Mr. Ma Ming cleared the wrong attachments. After being cleansed of the wrong attachments, the practitioner develops the mind of Mahayana practice. So should continue to the third part, Mr. Ma Ming distinguished generals play mind about the result of Mahayana.

The Mahayana path is where Buddhas have witnessed it, but it is also where the Bodhisattvas are heading towards it.

The development of mind about the Mahayana, divided into three categories, from shallow to deep:

The word "Phat mind" has two meanings: 1. To set the mind of generosity, 2. Develop the mind nature, or invent the mind nature.

I. Completely believe  (achievements)  that generate mind

Question: _ What kind of person is it and what virtue is it to cultivate to become a member of the 10 followers?

Answer: _ The uncertain sentient beings  (not certain righteous or wrong) , thanks to the good power of practicing the previous life, making them believe in results, so the suffering of birth and death, generating the mind of good practice, to pray for supreme conduct Thanks to being personally serviced by the servants, offering to the Buddhas and practicing for eternity, they were able to achieve the heart. Because of that condition, we should meet the Buddha and the Bodhisattva teaching that they will develop; or because of compassion, they generate spontaneously; or because the Dharma is about to disappear and want to maintain, they generate their own mind.

Such people, being in the right concentration, are not rotten. Because they were associated with "Righteous Buddha Nature", they were called "the lineage of Tathagata".

THE SOLUTION

Question: _ What kind of person, cultivates what virtue, is it to be completely satisfied with the 10 things, and how is the mind made?

Answer: _ Those who are indefinitely righteous, or whose side is tilted down (Mahayana or Hinayana), if they meet with Hinayana teachers, they become poetic and enlightened, if they meet Mahayana teachers, they become Bo Slap or Buddha. These people, because of their many generations of cultivating good roots and inside thanks to their Buddha nature, urged by the Dharma to enter, make them believe in morality, and then the mundane situation of the world is suffering. should play austerities leading the way to liberation.

Embracing the mind of spiritual practice, serving the Dharma, in order to serve the good and knowledge of the Buddha and make offerings to the Buddhas, to do such things, undergo a thousand lifetimes, will the practitioner fulfill the position of the 10 followers.

When the devotion is already fulfilled, either meeting the Buddha or the Bodhisattva teaches them to develop the mind, or because of the compassion caused by the Great Compassionate Heart, causing them to develop a mind, or see the Dharma of decline, want to maintain the Dharma, so they develop the mind.

Those who are so blissful and profane in this way, have joined with "Righteousness in Buddha nature" to practice "Right concentration" and are no longer indeterminate or corrupt, so they are also called "seeds of Tathagata ”.

CHANH VAN

There are sentient beings, from which time until now, the root of healing is less thin, deep afflictions, although they also meet the Buddha for offerings, but only pray for the blessing of the celestial realms, or practice according to the Second Vehicle, or they may pray for the Mahayana dharma. , but not determined by the nature, tons of space or not; or they make offerings to Buddhas, but less than ten thousand lifetimes. These people also meet good conditions to generate the mind  (such as seeing the appearance of the Buddhas that generate the mind, or offering offerings to the monks, or seeing the Second row of the teachings that they generate, or learn with teachers that they develop interest).  But these types of vipākacittas, all of them are unstable, if they encounter a bad situation, they rotten mind, or they fall into the Second Vehicle.

THE SOLUTION

The paragraph above said the faithful have accomplished, and such a mind, then be in the right district, determined not to change, because they have been a ten thousand lifetimes.

This paragraph says, the following people, because of the religious life is less than a thousand lives, the faith has not yet achieved, or still rot, should not be in the Chief Justice. They also meet the good conditions to generate minds, or see the perfect appearance of the Buddha, which generates the mind, or offers offerings to the monks, or meets with the Second Hinayana to teach the mind, etc. ... 1. Direct mind, that is mindfulness as chon

2. Deep inside, meaning the mind likes to do good deeds

3. Great compassion, that is, the mind wants to save suffering beings.

Practitioners of spiritual practice must go through a ten thousand lifetimes to achieve the faith of faith. At that time the practitioner emitted countless minds, but in summary there are three things:

1. Directly, contemplating Chon as the dharma

2. Deep inside, vow to do good deeds

3. Great compassion, the attitude of all beings.

Contemplation as the basis of two virtues: Self-interest and profit. Because consistent in the feet as there is enough immeasurable merit, should let practitioners prefer to cultivate the good deeds, in order to join with their chon Tanh. Practitioners practice, when penetrating to where no longer see the minister, calling it "Deep inside."

Because our shop and all sentient beings are like, so suffering beings means that we suffer, and beings who are still incarnate have not been liberated happily in Nirvana. Therefore, the practitioner of the great compassionate mind saves all sentient beings.

Ask: _ Chon as a body, why not warranty direct chon chon concept, but also temporarily use the means, practice the good law?

A: _ For example, jade is very clear, but still confused in dirty minerals. If you only think of the transparent nature of the pearl, without using the means of filing, etc., then the decision cannot be pure pure manna.

Also, beings of sa san, such as pure feet, are also defiled by countless afflictions. If the practitioner just recites the foot like, without using the means of cultivating the wholesome deeds, it is also not possible for the foot to be as pure.

Because of the immeasurable defilements, practitioners must cultivate immeasurable virtues to treat them. If the practitioner practices the good dhammas, then naturally come to oneself like his feet.

Question: _ Being sa san beings have chon-like substance, why do spiritual practitioners do not recite their feet directly, but also use countless means to eliminate defilements of defilement and cultivate wholesome deeds?

Answer: _ Beings though the nature as pure, but also inflicted countless defilements to contaminate; as well as jade, although it is clear and clear, it is still confused in the dirt. If the meditator is just contemplating like, without using the means to eliminate defilements and cultivate the wholesome dhammas, then the pure-like chakra is never really present. Just as people only think of transparent pearls, without resorting to means such as mineral filtration, filing etc., the decision can never be made into a beautiful pearl (pearl of any trac, any air).

Beings have countless afflictions, so Buddha also has countless means of medicine to treat them. If one wants to eliminate all afflictions, become a healthy person (Bodhi, Nirvana), of course one has to take the Buddha's medicine. The one who eradicates defilements from cultivating good deeds is to go against the mundane path, according to the Tanh chon. Therefore, one must invent the three cetasikas (Inthidation, Concentration and great compassion) and practice the four means later.

b. FOUR VEHICLES

CHANH VAN

The comb means have four items:

1. Basic means: Contemplating all the dharmas, nature which is  not (not)  d63 to leave the attachments, and thus without birth and death;

clinging to the dharma caused by the grace of harmony, so karma does not take  (there)  to start the mind of great compassion, cultivate the virtues, inspire sentient beings, and thus should not abide in Nirvana.

Of the four means of practice to enter the foot like this is the basis of this means.

Beings, hoping to accept the real dharma, should create karma; and then led by the force of karma, subject to samsara. Now the practitioner is consistent with the "fake, fake things," so does not despair and does not create karma; because karma does not create, so not being rebirth.

However, if the practitioner points to such a "No" shop, he is afraid of being caught in the "attachment", then there is no need to practice and transform beings; such as Executive Thinh Van accept not, like quiet (bass not animal President) enjoy the scene of joy Nirvana of Hinayana.

Therefore, practitioners must contemplate "due to the grace of harmony, so the dharma is not free and karma will not lose," to initiate great compassion and cultivate the virtues of cultivating beings. Thanks to such a shop, one should no longer "accept" and indulge in the nirvana of Hinayana.

Because not entangled in samsara, about the fourth benefit of the practitioner is accomplished. And because he is not caught in the Nirvana of the Hinayana, one should be free of all sentient beings and complete the benefits.

Not suffering from birth and death, not head to Nirvana is upon the immeasurable nature of the mind; thus called "Intuition". The mind-door is the basic means of self-discipline, self-discipline and enlightenment. Khế Kinh records: "The mind wins (no two sides) is the Museum of Religion" (the direct vision of the Museum).

This passage talks about the second means of "not doing evil." Those who know shameful do not do evil things; repentant of what I have done, that sin does not grow anymore. Therefore, "shame" is a factor that prevents evil from arising; And "repentance" is the factor that makes sin born, not grow anymore.

The previous paragraph said 3 minds: 1. Introspection, 2. Intensive, 3. Great compassion. This paragraph says the second medium, which belongs to the Heart, means to do good works. Protestant has two things: 1. Skip data (only good) called good; 2. Heal (good deeds) is also called healing.

This second medium belongs to the category of "wholesome and desires"; the third medium of the latter, belongs to the category of "good and good". These two types of healing belong to the Deep within.

In short, because depending on the pure virtue of the feet, such as the feet, practitioners should be separated from the sins.

3. Means for arising or raising good bases: Diligently worship and make offerings to the Three Jewels, depending on the good deeds, praising the merit and inviting the Buddha to change the dharma. Because the mind of the Three Jewels is very pure, making the faith bigger so the new practitioner is willing to pray supreme. Again thanks to the protection of the Three Jewels, the karma is eliminated and the root is not rotten. Because depending on the virtue of "no obstacle" of the foot, so the practitioner must leave the delusion of delusion.

THE SOLUTION

This third medium is "doing good deeds", that is, the "kind work" (doing good). This kind of healing also depends on the heart that arises. Practitioners give birth to unborn jobs, and raise up the existing jobs. Diligently practicing and making offerings to the Three Jewels etc ... is to plant good roots; And to love the Three Jewels and so on, is to cultivate faith. Practitioners again thanks to the divine power of the Three Jewels of protection, should eliminate the karma and make faith solid.

Ceremony is far away from the disease, chronic dissatisfaction is the dissolution of the disease, depending on the wedding, the diseased disease, etc.

In short, because depending on the virtue and wisdom of the mind of the mind, the practitioner must leave the delusion.

CHANH VAN

4. Means of great vow and equality: Practitioners because of depending on the nature of the chon Tanh as not and equality between two, such as trying to categorize, ultimately quiet, vast popularity of chon like. Should the practitioner play great vow, along with the future life, the chemical level of all sentient beings, are ultimately witness to the balance of Nirvana, not a single being.

THE SOLUTION

The fourth means is "saving suffering beings". This medium is caused by great compassion.

Practitioners depending on the virtues: impermanence, vastness, equality, cessation and cessation of cessation of the feet, such as, should make a large vow, chemical all sentient beings, are saved by Nirvana, no set a time limit and never stop.

In summary, the Bodhisattva depends on the good qualities of the feet as if cultivating the virtues, eliminating the contaminants, to return to the feet.

c. EIGHT OF THE DIRECTOR

Because of this mind, the Bodhisattva sees a partial Dharmakaya. Due to seeing the Dharmakaya, Bodhisattva, according to his will, appears the following eight generals to benefit sentient beings:

1. From the sky Where is the birth rate

2. Entering the pregnancy 3. In pregnancy

4. Born 5. Renunciation

6. Thanh Dao 7. The idea of ​​dharma

8. Enter Nirvana

But these Bodhisattvas, who have not witnessed the dharmakaya, because there are still illicit karma from countless past lives up to now, have not been able to eradicate. The Bodhisattva, because of his great vow, is born; Although not being dragged karma, but still subtle suffering. In Sutta, the Buddha said, "There is a Bodhisattva who has rotten mind that is corrupted into evil animals." Saying so, is for the primary mind  (not official Bodhisattva)  also entertain on the path of austerities, fear, but the mind develops vigorously, not really rotten.

Again, these Bodhisattvas, from the beginning of their enlightenment, despite having heard that they have to go through countless countless lifetimes  (countless lives) , diligently practice asceticism, to attain Nirvana; but they are not weak and afraid to enter the Hinayana, because they have firmly understood and believed that: All the dharmas ever since, their nature, which is Nirvana.

The Bodhisattva, who has fulfilled the 10-fold, delivered the three above-mentioned mind-consciousness (Truc-rectal, profound-hearted and great-hearted and compassionate), entered the Ten-cylinder, saw the pure Dharmakaya, so he could display eight noble generals, to do benefit to beings, whose mind is not weak and afraid of rot; because these Bodhisattvas have known the dharma since ancient times, which is Nirvana.

The Bodhisattvas of the Ten-cylinder, because the illicit karma exists, should be born anywhere, there is also subtle suffering about "the part of birth and death". But the life of their birth is due to the great vows to be sentient beings, rather than being dragged by karma.
