These twenty defilements, depending on the six basic defilements, arise. Because its respective scope is wide and narrow, it is divided into three types:
I. PRIMARY, there are 10 items, each self-reliant dish arises, the corresponding range is narrow, so called "Primary".
1. Frustrated:  Angry. The nature of this mental state, when encountering contradictory scenes, is angry. Its use is often to harm people, things, and obstacles to emptiness.
2. Hate: Hate  . When facing adversity, before anger and then anger. The nature of this mental state is to embrace resentment and resentment. Its use is hot-tempered, sad and obstructing emptiness.
3. Phú:  Conceal. The nature of this mental state, for fear of losing its reputation and resources, should hide its sins. Its use is to repent, sad and obscure nature.

7. Stalk:  Lie. The nature of this mental state, deceiving people to benefit you. Its use is to work without righteousness to nourish and obstruct emptiness.
8. S point: Flattery  , flattery. The nature of this mental state, choosing the time of flattery, flattery. Its use is not to obey the teachings of the master, you and you, and to obstruct emptiness.
9. Harm:  Damage. The nature of this mental state harms sentient beings. Its use is to do human brain, objects and obstacles Tanh harmless.
10. Arrogant:  Proud. Tanh of this mental state, because you find yourself rich, powerful or talented, and then born arrogant and arrogant. Its use is to multiply birth defilements, sins and arrogant obstacles.
II. TRUNG TUỲ, there are two dishes are Tameless and Noble; because of these two mental states, the condition of akusala cittas, their respective scope on average, should be called "middle depending".
11. Unattractive:  Self-ignorance, shame. Tanh of this mental state, when doing the harassment does not know self-respect, despise easy-going people. Its use is to increase evil deeds and shame obstacles.
12. Noble:  Don't be ashamed of people. Tanh and mental states, when working harassment, not shy with people, prefer to work crimes. Its use is to increase evil deeds and shyness.
III. GREAT CUSTOMER, there are 8 of the following. These eight mental states turn throughout the akusala cittas, the scope of which is larger than the two previous Chinese dishes, so called "Great Dependency".
13. Awarding:  Lao Chao. The nature of this mental state makes the mind and body flutter, not calm. Its use is to obstruct concentration and discharge.
14. Kissing the ceiling:  Blurred dark serious. The nature of this mental state, makes the mind when it is not wise to contemplate contemplation. Its use is to dissuade Hue and disdain.
15. Disbelief:  Do not believe. The nature of this mental state is to not believe in wholesome deeds, which pollutes the mind. Its use is being entertaining and hindrances are pure.
16. Entertainment:  Lazy lazy, Tanh of this mental is lazy, do not worry about evil and good faith. Its use is to obstruct diligence and increase the defilement nature.
17. Reporters:  Let go of the lung. The nature of this mental state is bohemian, letting go of the lung, and not pushing the body and mind to the evil spirit of good practice. Its use is to increase evil and good, and obstacles to emptiness, not letting go.
18. Mindfulness:  Lost mindfulness. The nature of this mental state does not remember predestined scenes. Its use is to obstruct mindfulness and being scattered.
19. Disorder:  Disorder. The nature of this mental state makes the mind confused. Its use is to obstruct concentration and to generate evil.
20. Unrighteous tri:  Know not chon Chanh. The nature of this mental state is, when it comes to sight, misunderstands. Its use is to obstruct the right understanding and the birth of transgressions.
