2. The Unusual World.
I. NORMAL IS A TRUTH
First, speaking of impermanence, it is a truth. Even if Buddha is born or Buddha is not born, the world is impermanent, always changing without standing. Understanding then our life is less entangled and more open. For a long time, Buddhists have heard and understood the world is impermanent, but do you always remember that?
Hearing it is impermanent, but it is also sad to meet the impermanent story. So today give this topic to help Buddhists get more deeply into this morality, that is, to bring Buddha Dharma into worldly life that always changes this change.
The ancients had the saying "Loving sea mourning" means that the sea will sometimes turn into strawberry fields, strawberry fields may also turn into seas. Yes. Currently, some places have filled the sea into plains. The gentleman who recently visited Holland (Holland) found that people also filled the sea into plains as a place of residence. So, the sea turned into a clear strawberry field. Then there are also some bridal fields that turn into seas. Thus, the world does not stand still or stop but people always want to grasp it in one place, so we suffer.
For example, in the life of a person who is born then must grow up, grow old and die, that is common sense. All transformation in this world must go through so. If we love someone, we want to meet and not want to leave, so when we lose, we suffer. As Buddhists, we understand that the law of impermanence always governs everything, such as the sentence " can not bathe twice in a river ", that is, when bathing and going down again, another water flow over , not the water before.
In daily life too, where to go in beautiful places, take pictures to keep, but can we keep it? Seeing good scenes, beautiful scenes want to keep for long but can't keep. Because the world is always changing.
In the past, King Tran Nhan Tong, when he was a monk, founded the Truc Lam Zen school, so called Truc Lam. In the post "Dang Bao Dai Son" means "Go to Bao Dai mountain" in which there are sentences:
In the past, King Tran Nhan Tong, when he was a monk, founded the Truc Lam Zen school, so called Truc Lam. In the post "Dang Bao Dai Son" means "Go to Bao Dai mountain" in which there are sentences:
The Great Water of the Water
Bach year of mind.
Bach year of mind.
Translate:
Lots of water drifting in the Hundred Years of Water , please.
All things in this world are like water drifting. This stream of water pushes another stream, pushing it forward, pushing it forward, not stopping, so is life going, coming and going. Then " hundred years of gratitude ". My mind always mentally whispered to my heart, its life always changed. Seeing such truths will lessen suffering and suffering.
II. LOOKING FORWARD TO PRIVATE
Understanding the meaning of the world is impermanent then the wise Buddhists know how to live according to the conditions, because depending on the conditions, no bigotry will reduce suffering a lot. People are miserable because they are worried about clinging, what is over and then trying to hold back, but not being able to keep being mean is miserable.
And if anyone lives like that, he will live with the past and forget the present. Older people sit back and remember a time of their glory and regret, then sad, so forget about the present life. If the skilled person knows the grace, the life is smooth, new and open very much.
Once, in the eastern Tibetan plateau province, there was an old wife who died early and lived with the only son in the stone tent. During the day he constantly turned the prayer wheel and read the mantra "The ghost and the bowl of the rose", the son loved his only horse.
One day, the horse went away, looking forever and not seeing, the neighbors felt compassion for him. Because he only had a son, and a horse to help out, they helped him find him. Finding nostalgia and not seeing them, they felt sorry for him, he was poor and met this scene again. However, he also has a keen sense of understanding, so he calmly tells people: " Dear friends, please do not complain, what comes with me, I silently thank all, keep waiting will see ". A few days later that horse came back, also led another wild horse, so it was added a second horse. The neighbors saw it and came to share the joy. Before, the condolences, now it's a happy share, welcome you to have more horses. But he normally turned the wheel like every day, and said: "I also wholeheartedly appreciate this incident, but I don't know. Well, wait! Then I will see it again but I am not in a hurry to celebrate . ” When he died, he was not in a hurry to be sad, but when he was not happy, he knew that living like this was less painful.
A few weeks later, the son found that there was another horse, so he was happy to climb up to the boat. No doubt it was an unrefined wild horse, so he jumped violently, causing him to break his leg. At this time, the new neighbors came to be sad and comforted: "When I first thought it was lucky, I thought it would make my son break his leg, he was the only child, so he had to take care of his son ". He remained calm, saying: " Thank you, Quan The Am. My child is still with me anyway.
He is a layman who understands the impermanence so it is not sad, if we have a situation like the old man will be sad! But he still calmly thanked the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, because this child was still close to him, yet he was still lucky. We look at things a little bit, then things will change.
Not long ago, the enemy invaded the country, ordered the king to make the youth fight in the border. The men in the village all went to the army, his son, thanks to a broken leg, should be excused. The neighbors came back to share the joy. He sang a verse for this moral child, this is also a verse for us to study.
Life turns fast,
Up and down like water wheels.
How many times this body has existed, rotates endlessly,
This body has taken thousands of different forms,
Every thousand things have been destroyed, and formed
As wet clay into a shape on the wheel of the potter.
Up and down like water wheels.
How many times this body has existed, rotates endlessly,
This body has taken thousands of different forms,
Every thousand things have been destroyed, and formed
As wet clay into a shape on the wheel of the potter.
That is, life is spinning as fast as the water wheel, spinning evenly. This body has existed here infinitely many times, not many times, not this time. It means that in this reincarnation this birth and death, birth and death until today is already countless times, like the wheel, spinning like that.
So, thousands of ruined images formed, died, and then resurrected like wet clay to form the wheel of the potter.
"The low will rise, the high will be low.
Then one day, just wait and see
The darkness will be clear, the very people will lose their fortune, every form will change "
Then one day, just wait and see
The darkness will be clear, the very people will lose their fortune, every form will change "
The life of impermanence is like that, not standing still. Low high, bright dark always change with each other.
It is not dark forever, just like the night will be bright, and the very people will sometimes lose their fortune. At times, there are certain accidents, such as fire or flood, etc. that are lost, ie all forms will change and change, etc.
"In the endless dance of dualistic duality".
This is a relative game he calls duality.
"Son, if you are a special child,
people will discover that you belong to a rebirth line.
And let me enter the monastery with lamas.
If you are wise and speak well,
people will let you do." Office work
And tie yourself behind a writing desk.
Each horse gives me a pile of things to do,
Every rich ends with a dispute ”.
people will discover that you belong to a rebirth line.
And let me enter the monastery with lamas.
If you are wise and speak well,
people will let you do." Office work
And tie yourself behind a writing desk.
Each horse gives me a pile of things to do,
Every rich ends with a dispute ”.
Each horse gives me some things to do, I have to raise horses, I have to take care of this and that, etc., some things. As for each rich, it ends with a dispute. Wealth is always in dispute with each other.
“Who knows, what career will come tomorrow.
What is sown today, a lifetime it will ripen,
Will reap fully, that's for sure.
Therefore, be good with all things, unconscious without judgment,
Do not pray for evil,
All add or less, gain or lose, are just illusions ”
What is sown today, a lifetime it will ripen,
Will reap fully, that's for sure.
Therefore, be good with all things, unconscious without judgment,
Do not pray for evil,
All add or less, gain or lose, are just illusions ”
Tomorrow this will come to me not yet known. Today, when I sow something, it will ripen in one life, I will enjoy it. Now, sowing good causes at the time of ripening, I will enjoy the good fruit, and now I will be rewarded with bad results. not sure the time but will reap that is for sure. So he advised right now to live well with everything. If you want to enjoy sweet fruits, you have to plant sweet trees, but you don't have to grow sour trees. All add or subtract, gain or lose is just an illusion, not much to worry about.
“Don't hope, don't be afraid of me!
Do not expect and therefore not disappointed.
Do not expect and therefore not disappointed.
Unwilling to ask, there is no disappointment. The reason for disappointment is because of the desire to ask too much, expecting more and more frustration. Less hope is less disappointing.
"Accept all, it comes or goes.
And live in good faith.
Be simple, don't worry
And live according to the Buddha nature in you,
And rest in the joy of self-nature.
You can shoot the sky with as many arrows as
you can.
But they will fall back to the ground all. ”
And live in good faith.
Be simple, don't worry
And live according to the Buddha nature in you,
And rest in the joy of self-nature.
You can shoot the sky with as many arrows as
you can.
But they will fall back to the ground all. ”
I mean, how many arrows I shot up in the sky will also fall. He advised to accept all. It comes or goes, it calmly does not deny and live according to cause and effect. Because I know that everything is not natural, there are karma and cause and effect, then it is up to me to follow it. He advised to live very simply without worrying, cleverly following the Buddha nature in us, living in the joy of self-nature.
Therefore, Buddhists have clearly known that the world is impermanent and always changes, so we must be able to live according to the conditions, to follow the Buddha nature in ourselves, ie the enlightened mind, the wise mind will be less miserable.
It is clear that life is impermanent, always changing, everything in this world is only relative, there is no absoluteness. But everyone always wants everything to be perfect, wants everything to be perfect. Because you want, you should not suffer. Understand that then we know how to live according to the conditions, then it will be less miserable, but if we want to be completely complete when it is not, then it will be unbearable and miserable!
For example, the two brothers played close to each other, and the long time they met their old friends, they were close to them. At that time we were angry, thinking that we had betrayed this and that. This person thinks in his mind that his previous friendship must be complete and now changes so sad. It's no wonder! That is the relative law of the world. The human mind always changes impermanence, all living in delusion, being destroyed and changing, when you see it change, you also understand that common sense! I myself too, my mind is impermanent. When the novice was willing to give up all to study the religion, but sometimes about five or seven years, it gradually weakened! It is because impermanent mind should change. Understand and cleverly follow the causal cause and live with your wise mind, living with the Buddha nature available in you. That is what is not lost. If in life, know how to live with morality,
Like this old man, who did not go to the temple but knew how to apply Buddha Dharma into the world, he was happy to see any scene. Being happy and losing is also fun and calm. Lesson shelf Cu Tran Lac Dao of King Tran Nhan Tong: "In life, please act according to grace ". At the world, if you know how to be pious and happy with virtue, if you don't know, you will suffer.
There is a story about an old woman, the mother of a Tibetan teacher. She did not understand the doctrine much, but what she understood, she could apply it to life and help those around her live like that. At that time, there was a neighbor's husband who died so sadly wept, went to the Lama's house to find some comfort but the teacher went away and met the mother. On that occasion, she comforted her: " It is also necessary for me to suffer like that, but it is not necessary, because all that he has is born, there must be disintegration and destruction to return to their origin. No one can avoid death, everything is impermanent, understanding that is also very lucky . ” Italy said: Because everything is impermanent, being born, there must be death, no one will be avoided. It is miserable to want him not to die! It was inevitable to be afraid, not to be afraid, to be sure of it, then it was customary!
At that time, the woman had not been sad yet, so she comforted her: "Weep, weep, just cry, just cut your hair! After that, I have to think again and less sad, do not forget this sad mood, it is impermanent, it has no reality, like clouds like the wind and it also goes away like everything in this world. I am an old woman, used to be sad and sad, I have seen many relatives come and go, so my advice to you is: do not bring anything into your heart.
She advised me that I am sad and sad, but I have to think again to lessen my sadness. It is true that she is not a master, but her words are truly masters. She said that my sad mood is impermanent, what's wrong! How sad is it for me to be sad for a year or so for about three or three months. Has anyone been sad all your life?
The mood is also impermanent, because we are stubborn so we feel miserable. So she said sadness as well as cloud like wind, sometimes it also went away, not having to worry much. Then she proved that righteousness, like her, had also lost her father, lost her mother, lost her relatives, and encountered such sad and painful scenes, but they came and they went.
Therefore, her brief advice is exactly what we need to learn: " Don't bring anything in your heart ", gently, and embrace as much as you can, the more miserable. Should not hug tightly because it comes and it will go, so it is very gentle. The bigotry is hard, simple. Anyone who is skilled at applications can live like that, then his life will be much less miserable. How much can be done in this life is quite enough: "Do not bring in anything, there is no trouble." Check if that is true?
The reason for having afflictions is to bring it to your heart. People say a little bit of a bit to bring it to their hearts and then be bothered, still living with this meaning, people have to say that it is heavy and not afflicting.
There is a significant sense of fun in the meditation: Two brothers in the monastery are walking on the road, it is already raining, so the muddy road, having to wade through a shallow stream. Just then a young girl wearing a beautiful kimono had to pass through the stream. But wearing this style, how to go through the stream? The brother felt so compassionate: "Hey little girl! Come here and give it to me. ” Then the brother carried the girl across the stream to the shore, then went to the temple. The monk saw that scene so uncomfortable. From there, on the way back to the disciples was not happy, the air was heavy. Nearing the temple, as if he could bear it all, he said: " Today, you are so weird! ". Brother asked: "What is it ?" Teacher: " A spiritual practitioner must not touch a woman but why do you carry that girl over the spring ?". The brother said: "I took the girl over the stream and put it there, and what did the monk come to the temple to do ? "
That is the story of a Zen monk, a monk who makes a heartless way, and a monk brought it to his heart, so he is unhappy. Although it is a funny story, it is full of morality. Remind people to study religion, learn that happy discharge, keep the mind always quiet, not entangled.
For example, when a Buddhist goes to the market or goes to a workshop, someone says something that is a little offensive and offensive to me. No one here is holy, so only a little sad and put there, go well. Sad in the market, in the office and then go home gently. If not, then hugging home, hugging in the bedroom, hugging on the pillow is not always miserable. Understanding that meaning, we live very gently.
If you understand everything that is often cleverly dependent on love, then it is medicine or saving the world. So Buddhists study the religion just like the sick, and Buddha talks as a medicine. Patients who want to recover from illness must take medicine. Rather than giving the medicine without taking it, sitting there reading the formula of the drug or the other drug or not getting sick.
Although learning the teachings of the Buddha a lot, listening to them is often full of ears but encountering impermanence to embrace. So, to study Buddha is to study medicine, to study the dharma, then to digest the dharma, to have practical benefits.
III. ENGLISH TIME
Understanding the meaning and application of the Buddha's teaching on impermanence to life, it is clear that studying impermanence is not to make us bored, pessimistic do not want to do anything, many people study the religion and misunderstand, doubt so.
Previously, there were many people asking Buddhism what is impermanent, making people bored of life? Because knowing everything is impermanent, there is no need to work for the effort. Thinking like that is boring and weak, that's a misunderstanding.
Buddha only said that impermanence means that everything that passes is impossible to pull back, so the time available here is very precious, to respect. That is, it is impossible to pass through, to live for the true meaning, knowing the present quarter. Can not say impermanence, do not need to do anything, then leave this time through, is a waste of life. The good grace we have is not easy to meet for the second time. Then to be respectful, to be smart should not be hesitated.
Today, thanks to good conditions near the temple to study Buddhism, we must develop a good base so that the next life will increase by half, doubling. What if later being born into other species? It is to understand the meaning of impermanence, not to let this good grace pass, and then not find it again. Clearly, people who understand the meaning of life are more active and not negative.
Indian fairy tales, where a person bought a piece of land from a neighbor, bought it for the last day of the heyday to turn to darkness. After buying, this person digs up the gold jar in the newly purchased land. This man has a good mind to rush back to his employer. He said: " I bought your land and not bought gold, so now I bring gold to you ."
The other said: " I am also happy for you, when selling land is selling everything, I don't think there is gold on the ground. Sell is sold out. So this is your luck, you have the right to receive it . Two people just yielded to give up forever, because this is the golden age. But now it is about to turn to the dark time, so the two say, "It's dark for tomorrow ." Ignore, every single one of us is thinking about it and feeling sorry. The next morning, he bought the land and said: " I think about it again, you're right. I bought the land, then it was mine, and I accepted it . The land seller said, " That's not it!" I thought this night too, just as he said yesterday, he only bought land, and gold was mine, now I receive gold". The two sides quarreled, finally bringing out the hostile citadel. Seeing the impermanence of human mind. Yesterday was so beautiful, so good, the next morning transferred.
As such, we see that from the mind to the external situation, it changes impermanently, so meeting the golden age must grab the opportunity to do it right away, get a good job quickly because if you don't do it, you will change your mind.
During the Buddha's day there was also a story: The couple was very poor with only a cloth to wear. Every day, two people must take turns asking. Whenever the wife wears the cloth, the husband stays at home, returning. One day, the husband met Buddhists and interested to hear French, thanks to good conditions new feel and wish Development Center offerings, but the poor too have nothing to cozy up on the table with his wife: " Make a previous life husband and wife he had create bad karma so poverty is miserable. Well, I only have this piece of cloth, so I want to make a donation to create merit, so that the next life will no longer suffer ”.
The wife said, " We only have this cloth, but how do we go and beg for food tomorrow?" ". The husband said: " Offering blessed alone" . Table across the table, thanks to the strong heart finally decided to make offerings.
At that time, a Bhikkhu-stilts went to qifu gangui to pass through the house, the husband wanted to make offerings, so he crawled near the window and offered the cloth to the monk. Come up with all sincerity to make offerings. When he finished, he shouted: " I won! I won! ".
It was true that he had won, winning his mind of poverty, selfishness. After that, the monk listened to him so he could learn and know that his family was very poor, but his strong spirituality deserved to recount to Buddha. The Bhikkhu-stilts, the king and many benefactors who were present at the monastery were all touched. The king sent soldiers to bring clothes, gold and silver to give to the couple. After that, the couple came to listen to Buddha's sermon and to transform their lives to be good.
That is the cause and effect of money. When encountering good things, good things must grab the opportunity to do it immediately, if at that time, wait until the next day, it will be difficult to make offerings. This is the point we need to learn and apply to life.
Each one has to remember all the world is impermanent, even our body and mind are impermanent, changed, do not stop in one place, so having a good affinity must be done immediately, no, bad and evil conditions will lead away. It is in the sutra that teaches:
" Be quick to do good deeds, tame evil in your heart, slow to create good works, will love to do evil " (Dhamma 116). Buddha taught us that. That is, when I slow down to do something a little good, I get into it, so I have to grab the opportunity to do it right away. Understanding impermanence, then life is not negative, very active and always ready to do good things in ability.
There is a story of the founder of the Pure Land, Mr. Than Loan. He is a rebirth of a deep-rooted Buddha Dharma. Because the previous life has been cultivated, so when you are born immediately remember. When he was nine years old, Venerable Tu Tran asked for ordination.
The Venerable Master asked, " Why do you want to leave home ?"
Dear Than Loan: " I am young but my parents died early, I don't understand why people must die, why do I have to leave my parents? Because I want to learn this moral, I want to leave home .
Are we young and have a good answer? This is that renunciation of renunciation.
Venerable Tu Tran said: " Oh good! I understand. Now I accept you as a disciple but it is getting dark, let me shave my hair tomorrow . "
Mr. Than Loan heard this, refused to say, " Bach Thay! He told me that tomorrow morning, I will shaved my hair but my age is small, I do not guarantee my son's monastic mind until tomorrow; but his age is high, he does not guarantee that in the morning he can wake up to leave home for me, so please leave me as a monk right now . ”
Mr. Tu Tran heard the applause and smiled, very happy: " That's right! My words say no wrong, now I'm going to shave my hair right away. After that, he cultivated and became the founder of the Pure Land.
Mr. Than Loan, who was a former monk, should also be able to recite the death syllabus when he was born early to recall and understand and see that it is impermanent. It was only nine years old that He knew how to say, but did we know how to say that?
When he was young, he was determined to become a strong monk, and said he did not know if he could keep it until tomorrow morning and asked him to leave home. Secondly, the old teacher was also high, did not know if he could live until tomorrow? Clearly so. That is impermanent.
In the past, there were Tibetan teachers in the evening before going to bed to clean and clean tea and teacups, because tomorrow after waking up it was unlikely that they would use that cup of tea. So you do it first as if you don't think about tomorrow. Understanding such an impermanence, the monks were able to attain enlightenment.
If we can be like you, then we will also be able to attain enlightenment and less negativity. What do you think when someone makes us feel bad? Ah! What is it to die? Breathing in without knowing if breathing out is nothing but affliction. Thanks to that, it will lessen negativity. I still think that I live up to seven or eighty years and have time to suffer.
For the sense of impermanence that understands well, understands deeply, then we feel happy, reducing negativity very much. Seeing Buddha Dharma is practical, valuable and noble; otherwise, when you hear that the Dharma is the noble Dharma, where hasn't it been "Bao" for so long? When understanding thoroughly, applying to life, the deeper and stronger the belief.
IV. DEEP MEANING OF NORMAL
In the past, I only talked about the impersonal, if we were able to move forward, we could realize the truth in impermanence. Saying impermanence to help people realize the truth to rise up, to live with the truth, not to say impermanence and only see impermanence, that is the meaning of impermanence.
Ly often does not make people pessimistic, when it is clear that all is impermanent, we are not confused, living back to the true origin that we have forgotten. That is the Buddha nature, the mind, is the truth in yourself.
Saying all beings have Buddha nature that Buddha nature often cannot touch. Beings are often impermanent but do not lose the Buddha nature, so the wise people, enlightened, will turn sentient beings into Buddha.
Buddha, Bodhisattva, Saints, also from enlightened beings that become. When we are enlightened, we are sentient beings. When we are enlightened, we turn into Buddha. Buddha also came from beings, Bo-slapped, the A-la-Han, the Saints also. So in beings with non-beings, should say impermanence so that we do not mistake this false, cleverly return to that enlightened truth.
The lesson of teaching them of Zen Master Man Giac: " Spring flowers of peanuts and flowers, Spring of juniper flowers, The axis of money is too expensive, Lua tui head of hybrid. The spring and autumn flowers are lost and the money is the best in the heart. ”Is saying this: In the impermanence there is a true truth.
That is, when Spring passed, hundreds of flowers fell, spring came to a hundred flowers, the life passed by like the drifting water, the water went on and on. From time to time, the old one came over his head, his hair was silver.
The verse reminds us that the impermanence of life, from external circumstances to oneself, is impermanent. But why not say the spring before but said spring comes first? Usually people talk about it, then go, have to go, spring comes to bloom, spring goes away, there is blooming. Here, he said in contrast: " Spring goes, hundreds of flowers fall, spring comes, hundreds of flowers bloom ".
Because this is Master's poem for the time being, remind them to make the mass less sad. Coming to death is about to leave, he said that this body is the same. If there is a presence in this world until the end of grace, then like a spring, the flowers will die. However, when the grace comes, the flower blooms, that is, there is a fall and there is a bloom. It is the impermanent general of the world. But in that "Do not let the spring of flowers die out ", meaning that in the spring of that fallen flower, there is still: "Last night, there was a branch in the yard" . What does it mean? There is also spring.
He uses very delicate words. He did not say that there was still a bunch of apricot blossom that said it was a branch. Because if it is a bunch of tomorrow, it will fall again, and the branch will still be there, until spring comes again it will bloom, the flower will fall but the branches will still be there. It is clear here that life is impermanent, this body also follows and ruins. Just as he was born and also passed away. But did you go there and did you lose? When meeting grace, he also showed up elsewhere. Just like this apricot branch, it will bloom again in the spring of next year, which means that this is impermanent, but in it there is the truth.
So, Buddha said impermanence to let people live back to their own truths, not to say impermanence is impermanent. Understanding that, seeing the meaning of the impermanence is very deep, it doesn't just stop in the sense of impermanence. Thereby, we can see the profound, inconceivable Dharma.
Buddha taught in the Mahayana Sutra, this body is called illusory body, and the body arises. But there is also Dharmakaya, that Dharma body does not kill. As a product As Lai Tho Luong in France, the Buddha said that he became Buddha for how long? He said from the time we became a Buddha to the present countless countless lifetimes, as much as dust and sand cannot be told.
He, for example, crushed the whole mass of this celestial world into dust, then went through hundreds of thousands of worlds to fall a dust, falling out all the dust and then adding up all the worlds that went through there. to drop dust and not to drop dust, to crush all dust, and every dust particle is a life.
He said that since He became a Buddha, it is far longer than that dust. So how much of his life? Often we understand the life of Buddha is eighty years and enter Nirvana. If you understand as Buddha says in the sutra, will Buddha enter Nirvana? So Buddha does not enter Nirvana in the sense that it is often understood to be destroyed.
Because we are enlightened, we see the Buddha enter Nirvana. If enlightenment, we see Buddha has no Nirvana. Because of Buddha's longevity said above, the Buddha entered Nirvana as the Buddha, because he is the one who should be born and enter Nirvana. And the other Buddha still exists. If you understand that, you will always see Buddha being born to us and not entering Nirvana. Everybody has Buddha nature but Buddha in himself also entered Nirvana without knowing how many lives, now how to make Buddha come back here?
Be enlightened again and see Buddha come into being! If you see the Buddha's birth, right now you will pass even the countless lives that have entered Nirvana. Only seeing the truth, the cycle of birth and death is exactly like a dream. We thought Buddha entered Nirvana but Buddha was still with me. Understanding like this sees the deep sense of impermanence, not saying that impermanence only stops on impermanence.
Thus, this insight is sufficient for us to cultivate for life. Perhaps, from this life after death is still not finished. But because I learned the religion, I saw it. Listening to unreasonable logic is boring to listen to, because you've learned a lot, want to hear something superior.
If you understand correctly, understand deeply impermanence, know the practice application, then cultivate for the rest of your life, you can cultivate to become Buddha, not ordinary.
V. SUMMARY
Understanding the world is impermanent so that we are less entangled, in order to develop Bodhi mind, so as not to be deluded and actively live up, not to let go of it negatively. Always grab the golden opportunity to advance.
So, all the world is impermanent, there is nothing solid, nothing to grasp, accept, see like that, our life is open and closer to each other. Knowing the life of impermanence is less painful. All live together in impermanence, so bring happiness to each other rather than bring suffering to each other. It is a happier life, and calm with the life of impermanence. Just like the old woman advised the other woman, remember that all is impermanent and that the mind is also impermanent. So every sad time remember the mind is also impermanent, it does not stop.
Thus, skillful know how to apply to always advance on the path of study, to reduce suffering, it is to take medicine. A reason for this impermanence is to be careful, the deep shop is able to attain enlightenment. In the old days, Buddha had impermanent shops that witnessed Arhat. Contemplating my body is impermanent, I also see that anatta, no self, who is sad, who is afflicted, whoever dies, breaking the enchantment is the Arahantship.
There is a Bhikkhu-stilts in the morning sitting near the pond and see lotus flowers blooming full of beautiful ponds, until noon a group of girls wading down to pick lotus flowers. Do picking indiscriminately, picking haste should bruise the remaining lotus, the lotus leaves around. After that, the teacher looked back to see the lotus pond was ruined. In the morning, the lotus pond was beautiful, the sun shone very poetically, but noon it became ruined.
He contemplated everything that was really impermanent in life, and Arahantship. Here, Buddhists should carefully adhere to impermanence and application to life and live with that meaning, do not just understand impermanence through speakers on words.
Through the presentation on sure, the Buddhist monks also understand, but is this understanding my understanding or is his understanding? How to convert it into my understanding.
To summarize this sermon for all to remember, there is a Tibetan teacher who teaches: " Have you ever truly understood and proved impermanence?" Have you penetrated it in every idea, every breath and every movement so that your life can be renewed? ".
To summarize this sermon for all to remember, there is a Tibetan teacher who teaches: " Have you ever truly understood and proved impermanence?" Have you penetrated it in every idea, every breath and every movement so that your life can be renewed? ".
That means understanding and realizing impermanence in every breath, every step, every word, so that my life is transformed, can we do that? And ask yourself these two questions, if you can answer then you really understand impermanence:
- The first sentence is: "Do I remember that I am dying all the time? And everyone else is dying too? Therefore, I treat all beings with compassion at all times. "
Do you remember whether you are dying or not? Remembering that I am dying, everyone is dying, so I am in a similar situation. Seeing all the same circumstances should have compassion for each other all the time.
That is, we are living in impermanence, in transformation, suffering, seeing that other people are also living in impermanence, there is sympathy so there is compassion for each other at all times, can be answered have that?
- The second sentence is: " The understanding of death and impermanence where I have become so sensitive, so urgent that I am spending every remaining moment of my life pursuing an enlightened career? ".
If you can answer those two questions, you really understand the impermanence. Is anyone here to answer these two questions? If not, what to do? Only that much can be seen clearly, it is imperative to study impermanence for life.
Right now sitting here too, understanding that, our life is transformed, innovation is very much, defilements will be less. So that is medicine for all. Now everyone is smart to drink!
