CEREMONY CEREMONY FOLLOWING NIKAYA NERVE.

In this article, based only on the Nikaya basis to verify the meaning of the actual offering ceremony which originated in two Buddhist traditions. If you do not understand the positive meaning and the method of offering this ceremony and if you apply the ceremony of worshiping according to the extreme style of Ba La Monk and paganism, then surely there is no good blessing. A full ceremony of meaningful offerings requires donation and use of the spiritual language, the ghost of moral awareness to release the attachment of attachment, attachment and soon liberation. The problem here needs to be clearly aware of the consecrated spirit and the object consecrated in the dharma to practice some intellectuals, to benefit.
  1. The Donor
a) People donate by unwholesome dharma
Those who donate real life with immoral dharma will suffer bad karma, because killing the living beings for meat sacrifice will create three negative karmas from the body, mouth and mind, which will surely result in unintended results. This is recorded in the Ascendant Sutra through the Tathagata, when the Buddha replied to Brahmin Uggatasarìra. This Brahmin intended to set fire, erect a herd, kill hundreds of cows, sheep, and pigs as a sacrificial food to pray for great merit. Buddha frank criticism, for it is the evil deed only leads to too hard in this life and the next life, he taught them as follows: " This Brahmin, who helped fuel the fire, erected pillars health herd, before the sacrifice, build up these three swords, leading to misery and suffering.(Setting up three swords is an example of the three evil and evil karmas of the body, mouth and mind, for killing the living being to blindly sacrifice food). Thereby we understand that, in Vietnamese Folklore, if individual families, or village traditions and families, with any rituals of worship that kill animals and animals, it will lead to the common misery of the sacrifices. and the object is offered.
b) Good practice by good faith
The person who donates with good deeds will bring blessings, they will not kill the living being for the sacrifice of the meat, using the pure offering. This consecrated Dharma expresses the compassionate virtue that helps the living beings escape the world of poverty. In the Sutra of the Buddha, the Buddha explained clearly to the Brahmins as follows: " Brahmin, in any herds, in which no cows were killed, no sheep goats were killed, no chickens and pigs were kill, no other creatures are killed. Brahmin, I can praise the kind of herds that do not have such killing, that is, giving alms, the bridge is happy for the family. The types of sacrifices do not have such killing, this Brahmin, the Arhat and those who go on the path towards the Arhat, come. "Through the above passage, the content clearly affirms, sacrifice does not kill the living being is a good retribution, worthy of praise.
  1. 2.     The object is offered

a)                Being born as a person is difficult (This meaning is legal, in the language of the ritual, but the spirit of the ghost must be aware)
The term Huong Linh and Vong Linh show secular deaths. The term Spiritual refers to someone whose virtue and virtue die. Here, the fake saints, escape from the cycle of reincarnation we do not discuss in the offering. According to the wisdom of Buddha, those who do not practice goodness, who kill birth, steal, deviant and evil, when dying are not born heavenly, are not reborn as human beings, most are born into realms. low as hell, hungry ghosts and animals. The Buddha said: "The monks, less than the beings after death from the body, are reborn as human beings. And more than the beings after death from the human body, must be reborn in the hungry ghost realm   The beings in this demon species, most of them suffer from hunger and strange shapes, many pray for the offering of food of the people. The gift of the consecrated person and the receiving object must have similarity. In the culture of worshiping Vietnamese people, when worshiping, people set up two tables, a table and a lower table. The upper table offers incense, flowers and water in pure for offerings to the gods and beings in the high realm, called Thien table. The lower table is to offer ordinary food like the person who is living often, such as rice, porridge, and bread left to make offerings to spiritual incense, called a spiritual table.  In the ritual ritual and the supremacy, the colon is established according to the Vajrayana philosophy. The venerable monk recited the chanting of the proverbs, prayed for the blessing of the Buddha and the Bodhisattva, helping them to have the spirit of spirits (hungry ghosts) to be full and free from suffering.
b) The donation of food, why need to declare the spirit in the offering ceremony
According to the Buddhist scriptures, those spirits will be able to use that consecrated food, equivalent to beings in the hungry ghost realm. So the spiritual incense is the human language, which can receive the donation of things. The Sutra notes: " He, after his sabotage, was born into the hungry ghost realm. How is the food of the hungry ghost, there, he feeds with that dish; There, he survived with that dish. Any dish that friends, or friends, or relatives, or people of the same blood want to offer to him, there he lives with that dish; There, he survived with that dish. She-la-Mon, this is similar to the origin, stay here, he is the benefit of that alms  In fact, the realm of beings in demons has many types, depending on the blessings of the newspaper and the karma of difference, so being born into demons has many kinds. The food we offer, similar to the karma of that species, has the receiving. The Theravada and Mahayana Buddhist sutras often refer to the demons of merit and dignity, the devils lacking suffering and hunger and starvation. There are demons often appearing in space, only people with intellectual property can see. It is noted in the Nikaya that it is very clear that when the author of the Maha Moggallana, there are many monstrous demons that ordinary people cannot see, and the Buddha confirms it through the following Sutta. : "Once upon a time, hey the monks, I have seen them but I have not said. If I did, other people would not believe me. And those who do not believe in Me, those people will suffer unhappiness, long suffering. "
There are those who died after being reborn in the fund of the fund still attached to relatives. A detail in the Sutra of Sutra on the dialogue of the laywoman Velukantakì and Venerable Sarrutta proves that. The Sutra reads as follows:  "Here, Mr. Tôn, his husband, when he lives together, gives birth to the yaksha type, and he appears before his face, with a self as before. But Mr. Ton, you know, not because of that condition, your mind has changed.  Thus, despite other lives, but the impression of what was in the previous life still exists, so the demons still cling to their relatives and past life circumstances. So, in addition to the offerings, also use the teachings of the Buddha's teaching, argue for spiritual spirits, hungry ghosts aware to discharge the attachment of craving elements to be liberated is essential.
  1. Conclude
Buddhism does not have to establish the purpose of realization through rituals. But to perform the ritual of offering sacrifices to the deceased by pure goods, not to kill the living beings as sacrifices is praised by the Buddha. Such a practice does not have to start from the pagan threshold. Because through the French language in the worshiping ceremony, the vassals of the ghost-hungry ghosts receive the Buddha's truth.
We should consider sentient beings who are lost in the world of suffering, maybe they have been our parents, ancestors, relatives and relatives for many lives, they deserve to be grateful and receive the father offerings. It is a practical and blessed work that deserves to be respected.
In modern life, people run after material values, easily forget the gratitude for their loved ones who have died. Practicing alms including Dharma, I always nurture and arouse the spirit of suffering and happiness of Buddhism for living beings in this life and the following. END=NAM MO SAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ),VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH,AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY,29/6/2019,
