The Path of Enlightenment.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.
5. Phat Tam Bodhi.

The sermon is called "Phat Bo-Bodhicitta" or Phat Tam Bodhi mind, ie enlightened mind. All of you here are Buddhists, being enlightened, you have to follow the enlightened one. Studying Bodhicitta is learning enlightenment to deserve its Buddhist name.

I. SCIENTIFIC PEOPLE, BUDDHIST HEARING
First of all, speaking through the meaning of being a human body. Buddha said: "It is difficult for the body to be, Buddha is hard to hear" . If you find yourself having a difficult life, your dharma is also hard to hear, why does the Buddha say: "It is difficult for the body, Buddha is hard to hear "? Buddha taught: " In this samsara, we get human body is very rare, not ordinary ". Sutra has an example: Being human-like is like a blind turtle having a puffiness. In the great sea with a section of trees, there was a big hollow in the section of the tree, the wind blew the waves back and forth, under the sea there was a blind turtle, a hundred years of new emergence. When it comes to how does it get into that tree, is it easy or not? Tortoises with bright eyes were difficult because the puffiness did not stand in one place, just drifting back and forth. The blind turtle can emerge to hit the puffiness is rare. We are the same with the human body here. If people do not understand the path, the three karmic bodies, speeches, and thoughts, to create kamma are easy to fall into evil paths, knowing how to return to the human body. It's difficult to say that it is difficult for a person to live. When dying, the karma keeps leading, but no one can choose the way, if they are born into animal species or hungry ghosts, the lifespan is very long, not knowing when it will ever come out.
There is a story about the Serpent in India, one day the Patriarch came into the city, came to the door to meet a hungry ghost standing crying. He witnessed the result of the sacred fruit and the divine eye.
He asked:
- Why do you cry?
The devil answered:
- My mother gave birth to a child not long before going into this city to find food, I waited too long and did not see my mother out. I'm hungry, I hope that you come to the city and meet your mother, then leave a message.
He went into the city and met the hungry ghost.
He asked:
- Why did you come here to let the hungry pupil stand outside the waiting city?
The mother answered:
- Bach Him, I just gave birth to it, I am weak to find food, find something, I will be shocked by other demons. Just now, I saw a sick person vomiting by the road, I got the food that I was going to bring to my children but I was afraid that the god would keep the door closed. Please support me to help me out to feed my children, because he is hungry and hungry for a long time.
He accepted the help and asked:
- How long and how long will you give birth to the hungry ghost?
The mother answered:
- I don't remember how long it was and I don't know how long it will take before this lifetime. But I am here, have seen this city seven times and then ruined, but I am still here.
So how long do Buddhists see the time, seven times that time? So Buddha said:  "It is very difficult to get back to a human body, it is very precious and rare" . When you have the body, it is also unsustainable, not guaranteed for a long time.
Does anyone dare to say how long they live? Buddha teaches human life in breath. Everyone saw the rough appearance of the body, so thinking of being born at least lived a few dozen years. In the Four Chapters of the Second Chapter, there was a time when Buddha wanted to try the monks, so he asked: "How long is the human life ?".
Some monks responded:
- The White World Religion lives in half a day.
Buddha does not accept, say:
- He did not understand the religion.
A different taste:
- White World Religion, human life only in meals.
Another answered:
- The White World, the human life only in the breath.
Buddha nodded and said:
- You understand the religion.
Seeing the life in the breath sees the truth. If the Buddha is so consistent, it is true that life is only in the breath.
Example: From here to the city center is fifteen kilometers. It is that we see according to our own eyes, it is thought to be accurate, but not exactly! When we want to go through that fifteen kilometers, we must first go through every kilometer, every meter, step by step. If I stand in one place, how can I reach fifteen kilometers? But often people have less insight to such a subtle place, only to see rough generals. For example, when we burn a incense stick, turn a circle, we see the circle, but it is not actually a circle, but each dot of fire, it binds so fast that our eyes see a circle. Also, the reason we live for six, seven and ten years must go through each breath, and then add up to six or seven decades. If in the middle there is one, What about two breaths? So is life in breath? If you say life in a meal, about ten breaths that don't add up mean nothing, because life comes to a meal! So Buddha says: "The life of a person is only in the breath, "but often we see a life of six or seven dozen years, so it is long and clinging to it.
Tibetans have a saying, " Tomorrow or the next life, what we cannot know before . We cannot know if tomorrow is coming or the next coming. Sometimes waking up is gone, so the Tibetans absorbed the Dharma deeply. There is a famous Tibetan teacher, every night when he goes to sleep, he always washes the cup, the tea pot is dry and then wraps it on the bed. He said that because of sleep, it was not sure if he could wake up? If each of us can see it like that, the practice is very fast. His body is so fragile that I am not afraid to prepare for something more noble to rely on, to cling to this fragile, precariousness into misery. The noble, that is the Dharma. But Buddha Dharma is not easy for the listener, as in the article of the scriptures:
"Incredibly
innocuous, enlightened and profoundly enlightened with the miraculous life and death of the Ancients, etc."
Translate:
"The profound Buddha Dharma is nothing more than
Hundred Thousands of lives, it is difficult to find bridges, etc."
If you are born in remote areas like ethnic minority areas, is it easy to hear Buddha Dharma? Or is it easy to hear deafness when it is born? In India, even at the time of Buddha's existence, how many people could hear Buddha Dharma? All that time, all India was heard. If you know carefully, you can see your blessing, so you must cherish it. If you do not have a relationship with the Dharma, then you do not know where you are sitting, in which species? So I can see my precious place, not think: "Buddha said:  " Buddha's Dharma is hard to hear ", why do I listen to it but I don't find it difficult!".

II. IS A PROBLEM
If it is a person who does not know the Buddha-dharma, who lives by greed, anger, and ignorance, he will not be able to create unbelievable karma. At that time, my life was so dark, there was no fulcrum, until I breathed in and did not breathe in, I did not know where I was going, then I was miserable.
Therefore, King Tran Thai Tong had a verse to remind people of his identity:
Suddenly lost his body when he was before,
Back brought skin.
Bristles with horns, sharp jaw line,
Take meat to feed people, use debt to pay debts.
Sanh was suffering with a knife, pestle, pestle,
Live, the victims were boiling hot and hot.
Hang contains resentment, eating and swallowing.
At that time, we regret, study without virtue.
It means that when we lose our bodies, due to bad karma, we must be born into this species, the other species to pay off the debt. It's hard to get in there! Because being born into that species is to pay back the debt, when the person who comes to claim the debt, I give birth to hate people again, and then contain resentment against each other. Resentment from one life to the other in a cycle of reincarnation. At that time, regretting before did not know how to cultivate, now does not have good people to study the religion, without fulcrum, very miserable, no one can save us.
Buddha did not save me but I had to save myself. Buddha is just a master of guiding only Dharma, indicating the path of joy or suffering for us. If you want to be happy, go on a happy path, don't go on the path of suffering. It is Buddha who saves us. The Buddha pointed the way he did not go, He showed the way of joy, but when he went to the path of suffering, and asked the Buddha to save, how could Buddha save. That is very practical. So King Tran Thai Tong continued:  "Only by practicing, don't let this life pass. Shakyamuni Buddha left the palace to enter Snow Mountain. Layman Bang Uan brought fortune to the deep sea .
The king advised me to practice daily, not to let life pass, and then regret it. The king cited Shakyamuni Buddha living in the noble palace but also left to go to the forest to seek direction. So is Layman Bang Uan. When he was enlightened, he took his fortune and wealth into the boat, and took it to the sea. Someone heard the sad news asking why he did not give alms to be blessed. That is, we look at our conception, thinking that bringing wealth away is too much. But lay people look at the vision of enlightened people, it is wealth that causes greed, which brings danger to people. Because he was enlightened, he did not want others to follow that trail, so he discarded them. In the sutras, once Buddha went to the road to see gold fall, Buddha showed him A-nan and said it was a poisonous snake.
Here, King Tran Thai Tong also saw that. Even though he was a king, he still advised people to study religion and develop enlightened mind, not to be attached, to be immersed in the world of impermanence. Because of living in the world, it must be temporary thanks to the worldly wealth and career. We again see that our wealth is real, but according to the Buddha's teaching, this wealth is of the five houses: water, fire, robbery, kings and filial children. What about that career? Will dissipate. If it is guilty, then the king is confiscated, there are children addicted to drugs and drugs. Therefore, wealth is not mine but of the five houses.
This body too, temporary refuge here, finally quit. Knowing that and not studying the religion to clear it, it is a love. Someone who understands then feels fear. The first Dalai Lama has a verse:
The body stretched out on the bed the last time
The whispering words of the
mind Watching the last memories of
tragedy will come to you.
At some point, my body is lying on the hospital bed, my mouth whispering in words, when I am about to leave, the memories of my life return to the same as the film. Before creating any career, now it appears. Creating a good karma will bring good karma, good thing we will be happy to go to the road, good road. If you create evil karma, the evil karma will go back to the bad scenes, be afraid, disturb your mind, go into bad scenes. And everyone comes to that moment. So, when did he say that tragedy will come to him, when will it come to me? No one can avoid it all, so they know how to take care of their religion.
Farther away in reincarnation, Buddha taught: "Beings go in countless reincarnations, crying countless times." Crying for lost loved ones, crying for suffering in life, especially older ones.
Buddha also taught: " Tears of sentient beings are more than sea."  How do we see how long the reincarnation is? Today, being seated here, I don't know what it is to have a good life, because I have been able to listen to the Buddha Dharma and listen to the true words. this quarter. It is also the opening of the bright path, the path of enlightenment for us to go.
Therefore, King Tran Thai Tong also said: " Or someone burying his head in eating and losing a life, there are people on the way who practice wrongly and do not wake up, do not know the bodhicitta characteristic of each member; any good Bat-elegant good person who is full ”. The will of the king meant that someone who kept worrying in his head eating and drinking did not know what was more noble, eventually losing a life; Some people are mistaken on the path of spiritual practice, unable to meet the righteous and righteous path, so they cannot awaken the enlightenment. What a pity! Knowing that each person's senses are full, Bat-elegant goodness everyone has, but not developed, so pitiful!
Therefore, the king advised people to develop the Bodhi mind, to develop awareness, to live again the Bodhi sense of Bat-elegant goodness to clarify it. Everyone is probably a noble enemy, but forgets, accepts a temporary loss. Should say "The path of delusion right there".
It has long been said that "Bodhi" is a noun, meaning "feeling". What does "sense" mean? Being the mind, the mind knows the mind. Buddha is also compassionate and enlightened, we all have that mind. It means that there are senses. So, without worrying about developing sense, only worry about developing sad, happy, angry, hate, more, lose. That is delusion, creating afflictions, forgetting the enlightened nature. Here, King Tran Thai Tong realized that, the king reminded people to refine it to develop it.
In the Buddhist scriptures also once said: " necessarily sentient beings, the Buddha nature " means " All beings have Buddha nature" . But because the sentient beings should make sentient beings, now know, they must be smart to develop them again, transforming sentient beings into enlightenment. That is our way forward. There is a mind to know, to have awareness, to be enlightened and to drift around and to reincarnate, to forget the root, to wander in samsara. Calling living exile, forgetting one's own homeland as an instinct, being a Buddha nature, we only live with the mind and body of death as if we are lost in one's land.
Buddha and the Patriarchs were born to remind sentient beings to come back to their senses. To immediately reflect on the mind to overcome this delusion, to live back to the root, to have light, to have full meaning of life. Do you see that we now have roots or roots? In the impermanence, transient, transforming but still having refuge, there is still Bodhisattva awareness to be a refuge for me. Therefore, it is also the point we are praiseworthy for, happy also has a fulcrum. If not, where does our life go? So everyone skillfully developed Bodhi mind. But to develop Bodhi mind we have to know what is Bodhi mind? What is the nature of Bodhi mind?

III. VOCATIONAL TRAINING PROBLEM
Bodhi mind has three meanings, or the nature of that Bodhi has three: Mindfulness, Introspection and Great compassion.
Mindful : Being a mind that always points straight to your Buddha's wisdom, not letting it deviate, deceiving according to greed, anger, and ignorance. That is, it does not let it follow the ignorance, according to the jealous ego, rather than losing it is far from the mind of Bodhi. In fact, righteousness is righteous and pure in nature, that is, it changes itself close to the nature of Bodhi mind.
There was a monk who asked Zen Master Duy Nghiem in Duoc Son:  "What is the most precious thing in Buddhism ?". The Zen master replied, " Do not bend . Try to see if this mind has been bent for a long time? If you study the religion, the mind is straight from the beginning to the end. Some people initially developed a strong mind to study the religion, as well as to give up their body; but gradually, it curved slowly back, so the learning progress was slow, but right from the beginning to the end, it was very fast and very successful. The first thing a scholar needs to have an upright mind is an intuitive mind.
Heart:  A mind that likes to do good work to cultivate merit, fostering the mind of Bodhi, not to let the bad mind come in, oppose deception, so it is called the mind On the way to cultivate more and more merit as much as possible, only afraid of lack of merit, but not afraid of merit. For example: If a field or garden piece grows more and more fruit trees, more fruit is good, weeds become less and less. And if there is less fruit growing and less fruit growing, the grass grows as a refuge for snakes and hides. This is the same, less merit, less good, the grass afflicts greed, anger and ignorance, poisonous snakes hidden in it bite people. Therefore, the more merit the better, the more motivating us on the path of learning, deeper enlightenment, not returning to the path of delusion. So, the Buddha has four verses that remind people who have a strong mind to study the religion:
Infinite sentient beings, endless
afflictions and vows.
Faith of immeasurable vows to study.
The Buddha directed the supreme vow to become.
- "Infinite sentient beings " , that is, many sentient beings, still vowing to the extent that they will not miss is developing Bodhi mind, developing our love for everyone, every being . We have a good grace to study the religion first, to understand the religion early, to remember and to love those who do not understand the path to save them, so that our Bodhi mind becomes bigger, stronger and the life of everyone in the world. Be happy, get closer. But we only do according to our human mind, sometimes the mind also thrives, helping one person and the other, but only those who are appropriate, we like it, we do not like it. out. So salvation is still limited, but according to individual self-esteem.
Here, the Buddha taught to develop the Bodhi mind to destroy all boundaries, people, whether people like it or dislike it all, so that the mind expands, called the mind without borders. On the contrary, our mind is the mind of the border. If anyone can live with that open mind, life will be more joyful, seeing everyone around him is close, because there is no border.
-  "Endless infliction of vows ", ie endless afflictions still vow to end. As we also vow the affliction, but part of it is to save it and not dare to finish.
- "The dharma of immeasurable prayer they c", that is, the practice is immeasurable but vows to learn all, learn nostalgically, study endlessly. We are the opposite, also learning but studying a little bit, learning just now is enough. And here the Buddha teaches that nostalgic learning does not stop, not enough.
Dharma is true that learning is not over. Just like an impermanent reason, there are many people who have been studying for a long time to listen to the impermanence and do not want to listen, because listening to many things, understanding everything, saying something superior! The truth is not that, people who understand the impermanence are not easy. In the past, the monks understood the ultimate sense of impermanence, the A-la-Han, not trivial. But when we learn, we understand but if we ask the question, do we really understand? That is, we learn and understand through the understanding of Buddha, of the Patriarch, of the Master, not really our own understanding. If it is true, then I understand it right away. If you only learn according to the Buddha, the Patriarch, you must regularly reflect on your daily life, when the depth of insight and wisdom arises, then you can relieve the suffering and suffering yourself. If it is thought that understanding and affliction still come, it is only Buddha's understanding, not his understanding. Study is to study thoroughly and deeply. So Buddha has taught us to study Buddha to study nostalgically "That is the law of immeasurable prayer .
-  "Buddha directed to the supreme vow of devotion", the path of supreme enlightenment, must vow to accomplish not only cultivate halfway. Buddhists often dare to think about cultivation to the supreme path of Bodhi, but only cultivate merit on the upper realm! But Buddha taught to make vows to become a new Buddha. Because Buddha says all sentient beings have Buddha nature, having supreme path should be cultivated to reach the destination, not to stop halfway.
Dai bi mind:  Being compassionate and saving people, bringing people to a place of happiness. When you see your own suffering, sympathize with the suffering of others, forget to come to people to expand your love for a better life. The Buddha taught that everyone has the same origin, which is the source of wisdom and wisdom, sharing the same Tathagata.
When you see that way, you will no longer be sad and angry and hate each other, because you have lived together in the Tathagata house. No longer being separated by ego, then I will be less miserable and happy. Therefore, attention must be paid to developing compassion.
Often we are used to living with our selves, now the Buddha teaches to forget about, to be in harmony with each other, from his misery to sympathize with his suffering. For example, when we feel sad, why are we sick and no one comes to visit, comfort, and lead to sadness and suffering. If we suffer from our sufferings and then remember the suffering of sentient beings, when the sick person suffers as much as we do, it hurts like me, so that we can sympathize with the suffering of our people, forget our suffering; naturally I will be less miserable. Loving people is also love yourself, but we do not know. Often people only remember themselves, do not remember people, the more narrow the more suffering.
Studying the Dharma we will see many good things, but because we do not study, we have not found it well. When studying to the place, it is clear that the Dharma is the Dharma as the meaning that we have taken refuge, is not just a word of the word. If you study the Buddha carefully, understand and taste deeply the Buddha Dharma in your life, then solid belief, unshakable wisdom.

IV. SUMMARY
From now on, will you be able to develop the mind of Bodhi? Studying Buddha is to develop Bodhi mind, to be enlightened. Although not enlightened by Buddha, but also began to move forward. Many distant lives we love too much, then even here we can't see enough? You have to stop to move back to your senses. Right now my senses are back, no regrets anymore. Each person should give the mind of Bodhi as a medium, follow the path of enlightenment, wisdom to move on, but cannot follow the path of ignorance and confusion.
When you understand, Bodhi is right in your mind, not far away. The mind is knowledgeable is the sense, the Bodhi is available in it. So anyone can give the mind of Bodhi, no distinction between men and women, young and old, big and small, regardless of race and color. Do not say this mind is only available in old people or men. Everyone can give it all out, that's a precious truth, and yet we won't exploit it? The present evidence is that Mr. Sadi of the Hungarians gave the mind to cultivate the Buddha, which is a concrete proof that everyone can develop Bodhi mind.
In the old days, the time of his Buddha's disciples had enough people from many different classes to be vile but all could attest. Bhikkhu-without pretentious before the murderer, murdered and then slashed into a string to wear, but when Buddhism was cultivated according to Buddha also attested Arahantship. There is also the Bhikkhu-stilts Ni-proposes himself to work in the feces, also the Buddha of A-la-Han. Bhikkhu-stilts Chau-profit Table-special is ignorant, nostalgic study a shelf not belong, the Buddha also proved A-la-Han. Do we now have ignorance with Mr. Ban-condens? Obviously, everyone is wise, so they are interested in Bodhi. The development of the Bodhi mind is the development of truth, which is an equal truth for all. Distributing that reason, living closer together, destroying all the boundaries of themselves and people. When love is great, life is more joyful and happy. Everyone needs to pray earnestly,
In the Lotus Sutra, the "Great Information of Winning" tells: when the Great Buddha Wins Win into Buddha, he launches light to penetrate the heavenly realms throughout the ten directions, all the way to the hell realm. The East, West and North Brahma people all felt the Buddha's light shining on their realms, saying strangely: " Today the light is brighter than usual, so we discuss it together ." Among them, Pham Thien said:  "This light is different, surely Buddha was born or any Saint was born? We have to rely on the light to find out where it comes from? ”Then those who follow that light are found to meet the Great Wisdom Buddha who is sitting in the ashram, about to become the Enlightenment. There are sixteen kings who are asking Buddha to turn dharma.
Then, beings in the realms suddenly see each other, it is strange to say, for a long time, I have not seen how today we see each other, why there are so many beings. At that time there is no boundary of this realm. When Bodhi mind comes out like this, it is true that it erases its boundaries, one's. So called without the boundary of the other, the realms are connected into one realm. As for me, the two of you sitting next to each other, have you seen each other? Or maybe they bump into each other without seeing each other, especially the two of them are prejudiced! Because, each person has his or her own world in his head so they are separated. The Bodhi mind that radiates shining will break the boundaries between us and people. Seeing everyone has Bodhisattva awareness, I have, the other person is like me, sympathizing with each other, without discrimination and separation. Seeing everyone is Buddha will become, Everyone is the future Buddha. So the more we study the religion, the more joyful, more bright, beautiful life, closer together. Studying like that means learning the religion.
And the longer we study, the more disturbing it is. Seeing how that teacher, she, studying the religion as long as she finds it more difficult, makes people reduce their faith with the Dharma. We have to understand carefully to practice the dharma properly, the more we study, the more we move the mind, making it closer to everyone. People who study the religion and have an inner life, have a virtue, will emit good words. Everyone who likes to come so close is nice, so the more the Bodhi mind develops, the better it will be.
There is a story: In a certain area of Tibet, there were few people in the past. Occasional struggles between tribes occur. There was a Tibetan master who witnessed, he came to this area meditating between the empty streets where the border between the two tribes was located. He suddenly felt a destructive power like he was about to explode.
Does the master decide to bring his calm mind into those bad powers? He lit a fire to make tea to see what was going to happen and then He lay right in the middle of the road, and anyone who passed would have to walk through His body.
Two tribal groups heard angry news, dispatching two three cavalrymen to bring weapons to eliminate. The horsemen saw him lying like that, jumped down on the horse and said:  "Are you a madman or sick, do something that lies like that, the intention to transmit the disease to others? ". At that time, the Grand Master lay leisurely, narrowing his eyes, with compassionate heart. He said: " Don't worry, you will not be transmitted this disease, I am in the mind of Bodhidharma, but this mind You can't give it to you! ". After hearing that, they thought that he was crazy and shook his head and left.
He said that with compassionate and compassionate heart, he should feel for those three people. Initially, they came with a frustrated attitude to eliminate, but gradually transformed. After that, people passed on a story as a miracle, the tens of years of enmity between the two tribes suddenly resolved by a peace treaty. It is also said that those three horsemen were passed down by Bodhidharma, from which they also transmitted the Bodhi mind to everyone. Later, in the preaching sessions for a large number of people, the Tibetan master announced: "My pig will not be able to spread the mind. Although, we have to admit the symptoms of Bodhicitta are rarely released completely". He said that if cultivators have attained a complete enlightenment, they can more or less transmit and develop that mind to those around them. It is also the sympathy and love that realizes that our heart is in everyone's heart.
Therefore, people who study and understand the path must develop their Bodhi mind to spread it to everyone, as much as possible. And finally, the Tibetan Master ended with a vow: "The bee instead of the immeasurable Bodhi mind will be transmitted to all species, without any species. " If so, then everyone's life will develop, transform in a good way. Each person who lives with the Bodhi mind will transform the world, the world will be brighter, right here will transform Ta-she into the Pure Land.
In the Dhamma Sutra, when the Da Bao Buddha Tower appeared, the disciples wanted to invite Buddha Shakyamuni to open the door of the Da Bao Buddha Tower to see the true body of Buddha. Shakyamuni Buddha said: "Buddha Bao Bao prayed:" After all, wherever the Buddha speaks of the Dhamma Sutra, his tower appears, and the Buddha who wants to open the tower door to see the Buddha's feet must recover. all the Buddha's teachings are everywhere in one place ”. Later, Shakyamuni Buddha reclaimed all of his Buddha's teachings. At that time, the realm of Ta-Ba was combined with glass, gold wire across the road, dignified and beautiful. The convex and ugly rock are all moved to other places, etc. to become Pure Land.
It means that when you want to open the treasure door to see the Da Bao Buddha, the Buddha Dharma body or the Bodhi sense, then you have to recover all the teachings that are going into a place, then will reveal the Da Bao Buddha tower. or clear the Bodhisattva awareness in you, and then the scene of Ta-she is transformed into the Pure Land. The sentient beings, the yard, the si, the high culvert, the ego etc., are removed to other places. The Dharma Flower Association will be pure and clear. Right there is the Buddha realm. Listening to the dharma with pure mind, I will attend that conference.
So when you recite the Dhamma Sutra, are you allowed to attend the Dharma Flower Association? Or being moved to another realm? We must recite with a pure mind, lucid to be in the Dharma Flower, just rightly to recite the Dharma Flower. If you recite the Dharma Flowers and think that the sad, the happy, the afflictions, etc., are removed from the other realms. It should be understood, will see the Dharma Flowers meaning magical, profound, do not think that it is only a story of Buddha unrelated to him.
Buddha says sutra is speaking to sentient beings, but not to Buddha, but to whom is it to tell beings? For ourselves. So there is our part in it. If you read chanting according to the word meaning, do not understand the meaning of the sutra, you will see the distant and distant. When you understand it, it is true that Buddha taught to himself, at that time, the deeper I felt the meaning in the sutra, the more solid the faith. Will open a lot of love and confusion. So new true meaning as learning, the more the intellectual wisdom more and more wise, greater merit. If the mind is clear and dignified, even if it is far and near the Buddha, it is possible to be in the Buddha's Association, even though I am more than twenty-five centuries away from the Buddha. And my mind is not pure, facing the Buddha also far away, also moved away. Therefore all are from pure mind or not pure.
You remember before Buddha said the Dharma Flower, there were five thousand monks standing up and leaving. Thus, it means being facing Buddha but not seeing Buddha. Understanding the meaning, then learning Buddha and practicing Buddhism is not far away but in the right place. Just turn from a confused look into an enlightened, intellectual look. Cultivating a change of look, changing your outlook, your life changes.
In Zen's house, there is a story about an old woman crying: The old lady has two daughters, a fan, a raincoat seller. Whenever it was sunny, she thought that the seller of the raincoat would sell less, so she cried for the girl. But when it rained, she thought of the girl who sold the fan, she could not sell, so she loved her and cried.
She went to meet the Zen master and said, " How can you transfer this suffering ?"
The Zen master said: " Simple! She just needs to change her look, when it rains instead of remembering her son who sells fans, she remembers her son selling a raincoat, today it will probably sell a lot, she is happy. It's sunny and she remembers the fan who sold the fan today. So she is happy! ” .
She came back to practice right, became often cheerful, so she was called "The old lady smiled." Also, if you change the look, you will be happy and sad.
There was a Zen master walking on the road to meet a girl who jumped into the river to commit suicide, and he called out to people to save the girl. After being rescued, the girl blamed the Zen master for saving her while she was dying, wanting to escape her miserable life.
The Zen master asked the girl:  "Why?"
The girl talked about the life she had met with despair, suffering, only to find death to comfort her.
The Zen Master explained: " People have two lives: a life for themselves, a life for everyone. She had lived for her own life for a long time, being insulted with many things that were not so good, so she wanted to destroy her life. Now consider that life dead, turn it into a life for everyone, no longer selfish. Please live very well for everyone, bring blessings to everyone, do so her life will transform .
The girl returned and performed living and forgetting herself as the teaching, bringing happiness and happiness to everyone, so she forgot her suffering, her life was brighter for a long time.
Thus, it is clear that just need to cultivate, change the view that life will be changed, it will be good. That is, depending on the look, the look according to the afflictions, suffering will cause trouble for you; and a clear, open look brings a lot of happiness.
The Zen family has a story between Zen Buddha Buddha and Mr. To Dong Pha. Once, To Dong Pha went to Kim Son Pagoda to meet and meditate with the Buddha India Zen Master. After the meditation session he asked the Indian Buddha:
- Today, how do you see me meditating?
He said:
Today he sat like a Buddha.
And ask To Dong Pha again:
- Today, how do you see me sitting?
For a long time, when he answered with the Buddha, he always lost, today was the occasion when the Buddha India asked him, so he said:
- Like cow dung.
When the Buddha Buddha finished listening, he smiled silently. Tô Đông Pha thought that Lord Buddha lost, so he did not say more.
To Dong Pha left, recounting the story for her sister, who is also a student of meditation and is quite intelligent. After listening to the story, she mused for a moment and said:
- I lost to Buddha India!
To Dong Pha asked:
- Losing where?
She said:
- The Buddha's mind is like Buddha should look at him like a Buddha, and his mind like cow dung should look at Buddha India like a pile of cow dung!
So, if my mind is bad, I see bad people, bad lives. My mind is good, I think good people, good life. When the mind of those who are afflicted, whoever comes to disturb it, naturally the fire flames rises. The mind that is happy and optimistic, those who want to make themselves angry cannot do it.
Is it difficult to cultivate Buddhism? Not difficult. Just by looking at the mind of Buddha, Bodhicitta, life will be transformed well. Hopefully, from now on, when Buddhists are spread the Bodhi mind and turn their gaze, continue to spread the Bodhi mind to everyone so that the life will become brighter and more beautiful, transform Ta-lady into Tinh Degree.  END=NAM MO SAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.17/6/2019.
