Discovering the  Birthplace  of  the Buddha

Archaeologists are  studying  in Nepal has discovered evidence of an architecture at the  birthplace  of  Buddha  dating entailed  6th century  BC . This is  the first archaeological material to  link  the life  of  the Buddha  - and the first flower of Buddhism  - with  particular  century  .

A team of archaeologists International,  led  by Coningham and Kosh Prasad Acharya of organizations Pashupati Area Development Trust in Nepal  , said that the findings contribute to the  understanding of  broader development  initially of  Buddhism  as well as the spiritual importance   of Lumbini. The results  of the study  are presented in the international journal Antiquity. Research  was supported in part by the  Association of Geographic  National  (National Geographic Society).
To determine the age of the wooden temple and the recently  unknown brick structure located on it, pieces of coal and broken sand were  examined  using a  combination  of radioactive carbon analysis techniques. and stimulating optical emission techniques  Geological archaeological research has also identified the presence of ancient tree roots  in the central  vacuum   of the temple.
"UNESCO is very proud to be  associated with  this important discovery in one of the holiest  places for one of the  oldest religions   in the world,"  UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova  said . She  hopes  the study  of archeology will be conducted more and will  strengthen  the work of  conservation  and  management  positions  in order to ensure  the  protection  of the Lumbini.
"These findings are very important and help  to understand  more about the  birthplace of the Buddha" , 
Said Ram Kumar Shrestha , Nepal's minister  of culture , tourism and civil aviation"The Government of Nepal will  endeavor  our best  to  protect  the position  of this important".
