BUDDHISH MONKS AND NUNS KASAYA ROBES.
More than 2600 years ago,  Prince  Siddhartha  midnight  quietly  retired from the father, the mother weak, beautiful wife, beautiful children, doing  the Kapilavastu  and subjects  hundreds of them  to  ordained  Games Act. After crossing over the Anoma River, the crowbar  fainted  , " The prince  knelt down the reins on the horse:  the path that came here was endless. He redeemed horses for Naaman, farewell
Later,  the Prince  cut himself off with a beard and dressed in  suits  . It was the  saffron  first in  Buddhism . Bodhisattva  Siddhartha  stage  monastic practice  was picked on cotton touch and to form robes  wearing  sun  rain .. The  robes  that  marked  an  escapist  greatness: a  Prince  ultimate  high To have all of the retired from all to go  home to  find the truth.
Sanskrit root of the word  saffron  is kasaya, that is  discolored  or deteriorate or be  damaged identity , not in the main mystery. The cassock is never colorful, embroidered or embroidered. The  robes  of  ordained  Buddhist practitioner  symbolic  of what the humble,  simple  and most trivial.
Obviously , who  ordained  that  clothing silk brocade xênh Gas, Buddha hoppers:  "Such acts within the law, so faith  fortified ,  monastic school director, why wear a beautiful, retouching stature, with four  platinum y  what else is different ". Buddha  rebuked  really heavy but also very  compassionate , and very good to us  ponder amid coat crown  crowned  quite  common nowadays.
Still know all is  the means ,  necessary for some  rituals  but should not be too sarcasm, not  overuse the  cape to lose the  characteristic image "round head, square shirt" that  the poor quality  of the  export Family  unworldly.

The robe is  composed of several pieces, each piece of one color, for it is the pieces of cloth picked up and sewn together . Today,  depending on the  school , the locality, the customs, the climate, the cassette also  changes  , from apparel  to  color: yellow in India  and countries in the traditional South  ; yellow, blue, brown, reddish brown like in Vietnam  and  China  ; blue in Korea; black or dark brown (tea color) in Japan; yellow or reddish brown in Tibet ... Generally there are three main colors according to the rulesThe color is almost black (deep color, mud color), blue (copper rust), almost red color (fruit color  ).

On the  fact  is today the  robe  has  transformed  many  depending on  style brothels, practices,  race , sectarianism ... But whether there are  changes that way, the  robe  must retain  meaningful primitive  of it:  a  simple , humble, precious and noble. END=NAM MO SAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.THE MIND OF ENLIGHTENMENT.VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=GOLDEN LOTUS MONASTERY=AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.31/10/2018.
