The Amitartha Sutra was translated into Chinese by Dam Ma Old Da Xa (Dharmagatayasas) at the Imperial Temple in Guangzhou, China in 481 (Tieu Te 479 dynasty) ~ 502, the reign of Emperor Tieu Dao Thanh, the 3rd year of Kien Nguyen); was collected in the Dai Chanh Tan Tu Dai Tibet Sutra, volume 9, bearing number 276. The intention of this sutra is based on: because the defilements of sentient beings are immeasurable, so the Buddha's teachings are also immeasurable; Dharma theory is immeasurable so the meaning is also immeasurable; the meaning is immeasurable, but only arises from one Fa: that is the Non-General Dharma. The word "immeasurable meaning" has three meanings: All the Dharma have complete infinite senses, so it is called "immeasurable meaning". Immeasurable meaning means "truth". According to His Holiness the Shakyamuni (549 ~ 623) explained in the Suttas of the Sutras, then the essence of truth is unlimited, so it is called "immeasurable form"; from a true Dharma that gives birth to all Dharma, so it is called "immeasurable use"; both the body and the use of the truth are immeasurable, so it is called "immeasurable meaning". Immeasurable means only for Mahayana sutras. In the "Title" of the Sutras, it is said: The Blessed One is that because of the Bodhisattvas, the Mahayana sutta is named Amitabha. Therefore, this sutra also has a name called the Mahayana Amitayus Sutra. By the way here mentioned the name of the sutra, we would like to add one more thing: In the text (in the second and third products) there is a record of the Buddha saying the name of this sutra is "Mahayana Amitayus of Meaning", but the name of the sutras recorded in the Tripitaka Mahayana does not have two words "Mahayana", but only four words "Amitayus of Meaning"; maybe "Amitayus" is the official name of the sutra, The word "Mahayana" is just a modifier. The "Title" of the United States Sutras also said that at the Amitabha (near the Citadel), the Buddha said this Amitayus Sutra before saying the United Sutras. After saying that the Amitayus Sutra - the Dharma subject attained by Himself, bringing the Mahayana Bodhisattva goods, he immediately entered the "Immeasurable Meaning of Origin"; and after setting out, he said the Sutras of the United States. Therefore, the ancient virtues all said that this Amitayus Sutra is the premise, the opening part of the Suttas; It can be said that the content of the entire Buddhist Sutras is to develop the will of the Amitayus Sutra. About Dam Ma Gia Da Da Xa, the translator of this sutta, the historical records did not say much about his biography and behavior; just know roughly that, he is Trung Thien Truc, was present in Guangzhou around the end of Liu Song Dynasty (420 ~ 479) and head of Xiao Qi (479 ~ 502). According to the article "The title Sutra of Amitayus" by the hermit Luu Cau (437 ~ 495) written at the beginning of the sutra, there is a monk Tue Bieu in Vo Dang mountain (Hubei), who is even up to travel to the direction of religion. danger, labor. Tieu Te and Kien Nguyen dynasty in the third year (ie, 481), he went to Linh Nam area and met Sam Ma Gia Da Xa, a Trung Thien Truc, at Trieu Dinh Pagoda, Guangzhou. This monk has a talent for writing a very beautiful script, has translated the book The Amitayus Sutra, wants to circulate but does not know who to entrust it to. Tue Tue Bhikkhu then sincerely requested, he gave it. Tue Bieu received that sutra and brought it back to Vo Dang mountain ... Besides those simple features, no one knew more about his religious life; The year of birth and year of death is also unknown.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.4/2/2021.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.
