First talk. The Four Noble Truths are the first discourse given by the Buddha at Vuon Nai (Deer Park) in Baranasi city. This is the most important discourse, the foundation, the backbone of all Buddhist teachings. During 45 years of teaching, the Buddha developed his dharma figure on the Four Noble Truths spine, leaving the next generation a profound system of teachings leading people to overcome suffering to the end. tranquil shore. To this day, this teaching is still the basic basic teaching of the Buddhist sects. No one Buddhist researcher can deny this fact. First Dharma Talk After becoming enlightened under the bodhi tree, the Buddha thought about going to teach. Because He knows that spiritual practice is not about liberation for itself, but also for people and other living beings. The Buddha stayed in the bodhi tree for quite a long time, many weeks, to experience the peaceful and free state of the one who attained the religion. At the same time, he also thought of how to bring his wisdom to everyone, including parents, relatives, and people who are suffering or will suffer. During that time the Buddha was in Uruvela Village, interacting with people in the hamlet, adults as well as children. He shared his realizations with his foster owners during those weeks. His first official discourse he gave in a garden called Vuon Nai, Loc Uyen, north of the city of Ba complaint (Benares). He taught his five old ascetic friends, including Kieu Tran Nhu, Kondanna. At first, he wanted to find his two old teachers. Because he thought that if he met the teachers who taught me about the four jhānas, then it can help them attain Arahantship very quickly. But after questioning, he knew that both teachers had passed away, so he thought of five friends who had practiced asceticism with him before. Before, when they saw him give up the ascetic way of life and began to eat and drink back to normal, they were very sad. They thought that He was discouraged and gave up, so they left Him and went. Thinking he could help them, he crossed the river to the North to find the Deer Park. When the Buddha came, five old friends did not want to meet. "" It was Siddhatta who gave up before, what are you doing here now? "So they did not welcome, as warm as the old days. But when they see His posture and manner when entering, they cannot remain indifferent. Then everyone will automatically come out to welcome. Some took water for him to wash his feet, some helped him with a bowl, some helped his clothes. and everyone sat down around Him. At that time He said: - Hey friends, I will teach you the way of liberation. The five friends asked: - Siddhatta, how can you teach us religion while you've missed out on your studies? The Buddha said: - I have enlightened liberation and I can teach you again. The others asked again to make sure that the Buddha was truly enlightened or not, the Buddha said: - Hey friends, you know me a lot, have I lied to you before? - No, Siddhatta never lied to us. - Did I ever say that I am enlightened in the past? Now I say I have attained, I am enlightened, and I will teach you. After listening to that sentence, all five old friends knelt down, ready to listen to the Buddha's words. This lecture is considered the first sermon, on the four noble truths, recorded in Zhuan Falun, The Great Zhuan Falun Kinh or the Three Zhuan Falun Chanting. The wheel of dharma is the dharma wheel, and turning the wheel of dharma means to start spinning the dharma wheel. The wheel of dharma is already in place, but it needs to be moved. The Buddha gave his first sermon, like the act of taking the wheel of dharma and spinning it vigorously, and from that moment on the wheel of dharma continues to spin. To this day the french wheel is still spinning. And the disciples of the Buddha have an obligation to help that dharma wheel continue to rotate. Falun Changjun means the wheel of the Fa is always in motion. These four sutras have many versions, in Pali, in Chinese, and in Sanskrit. One of the Chinese characters is the Buddha Theory of Three Zhuan Falun, Sutta No. 110 in the Great Tripitaka. In the Great Tripitaka, you can read more sutta number 109, which is Zhuan Falun, and Sutta 99, which is the Sutra of Ahan. In the Tam A Ham, the 379th sutta is the sutra about the Four Noble Truths. In the Pali Vinaya one can read Samyutta Nikaya number 420. Zhuan Falun Sutras are Dharma-cakra pravartana (Pravartana means transforming, Dharma-cakra is the wheel of Dharma). This sutra speaks of four magical truths, four noble truths. In English is called The Four Noble Truths. In this Sutta the Buddha talks about the four truths of suffering, practice, cessation, and direction (duhkha, samudaya, nirodha, marga). Suffering is the first truth that we must recognize, must find out. The practice is the causes of suffering, the physical and spiritual foods that have been consumed and have led to suffering. That is the second truth to be identified, to be transformed. The third truth is Cessation. Cessation here is the absence, the cessation of the causes that have led to suffering. And the fourth truth is Tao. religion means the way, is food, are methods of practice leading to the absence of causes of suffering. According to the Chinese script, Suffering is the first truth, duhkha. The second truth is Xi, said enough to be hard-working. Suffering is the causes, the roots, the foods that have been gathered, leading to suffering, Sanskrit is duhkha samudaya (the making of the suffering). And Cessation is suffering-set-cessation, that is, the absence, the cessation of the causes that lead to suffering. And the fourth truth is the Tao, the way. Which way? The way leading to the elimination of the causes of suffering, fully speaking according to the Han literature is suffering-set-killing-direction. So to be complete, we say: The first truth is suffering. The second truth is misery. The third truth is suffering-set-cessation. The fourth truth is suffering-set-destroy-direction.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.25/2/2021.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.
