The Buddha Changed the Wheel of Dharma - The Very Important Turning Discourse Seven weeks after attaining enlightenment, the Buddha did not intend to lecture. But heavenly kings Pham Thien and De Thich made offerings of heavenly music to request the Buddha to change the wheel of dharma for the benefit of sentient beings in the Sambha realm. With the Buddha's eye, the Buddha saw his five former fellow practitioners and decided they would be the first to hear his teachings. The Zhuan Falun is the first sutra the Buddha gave a lecture to five brothers, Kieu Tran Nhu. image Buddhism follows the path in the middle (Middle Way) "Hey monks! There are two extremes (Sa.
