When the prayer is solid, maybe not reciting the sutras, maybe not listening to the lecture, one mind reciting Buddha's name is okay! If in doubt, the faith is not yet stable, the sutras will help you a lot. Without sutras, it is very easy to perish, to support yourself! Therefore, the sutras are the conditions of the Buddha and the Bodhisattva to us. How long can we live today? Although we work hard, how many years do we have the wealth? If we read the history, you see the king of the ages, the greatest blessing that can last twenty years, how many people? After no more than twenty years in office, they enjoy all the sixty years as a formidable one. For that how? Joy in the West is not equal to that of heaven. Reading Buddhist scriptures we observe by objective methods, not equal to heaven, how is heaven? Pleasure, the world of Bliss during the school day, being a student in the West. Amitabha Buddha all day lectures, all day class, seems to never eat happily, not equal. They do not know the merit to cultivate, although they are born in heaven, but their heavenly life is limited. Although living for a long time, but still has a term, They must die, die and come back to reincarnation by the time limit. You enjoy all the blessings of heaven, all the blessings after death, evil karma immediately appears, and evil retribution also appears.
