THE SUBJECT OF SUBJECTS. I heard like this. At one time, the Buddha was at Mount Kysarak, in the city of Lagourdes, with a great assembly of monks of one thousand two hundred and fifty people. At that time there was a music god, the son of Banjiajie, in the quiet of the night, when there was no one around, illuminating Mount Kysarak, went to the Buddha's place, bowed to the Buddha's feet with his head and head, and then stood to one side. , said to the Blessed One: "Recently, Brahma came to the Dao-li heaven to discuss with Emperor Shakyamuni. I was there to hear myself; Now, can you tell the World-Honored One?" Buddha replied, "If you want to speak, say it." Ban Giac Truc said: “Once, the Heavenly Dao Li gathered in the French lecture hall to discuss. At that time, the four heavenly kings sat on the four sides in their direction. De-di-tra-king Heavenly King sat in the east, facing west. Emperor Thich sat in front of him. Bhikkhu-Lac Thien Vuong sat in the South, facing the North; Emperor Thich sat in front of him. Bhikkhu-long-baked heavenly King sitting in the West, face facing East; Emperor Thich sat in front of him. Bhikkhu-samon Heavenly King sat in the North, facing the South; Emperor Thich sat in front of him. After the heavenly kings sat down, I sat down. There were also other great angels, all of whom had followed the Buddha and practiced the holy life, when they died here, were reborn in the Dao-li heaven, causing the gods there to gain five more blessings: heavenly longevity, heavenly beauty, heavenly name, heavenly pleasure, and divine majesty. At that time the Devas of Gods rejoiced and said, "May the Asuras increase, the Asuras decrease." “At that time, when Thich Dehuan Ren knew that the gods were happy, he recited a recitation to the Heavenly Dao Li, saying: 'We all the gods and goddesses, rejoice with the likes of God, pay homage to the Tathagata, Supreme Dharma King. The gods receive blessings, life, form, fame, happiness, and prestige. According to the Buddha's holy life, he should be born here. Again there are the gods, the light is bright. Disciples of the Buddha's wisdom, Born here, more and more outstanding. Dao-li and Nhan De, think so happy. Pay homage to the Tathagata, the supreme Dharma King. After hearing that verse, the gods became even more overjoyed, saying, "May the Devas increase, the Asuras decrease." Shakyamuni Thich Dehuan saw that the Devas were overjoyed, and said to them, "Do you want to listen to the eight incomparable dharmas of the Tathagata?" The gods replied, "We want to hear." Emperor Shakyamuni said: “Listen, think wisely. Dear friends, the Tathagata, Chi Chan, Perfectly Enlightened One, is full of ten titles. I do not see anyone in the past, in the future, and in the present who have all ten titles: Tathagata, Chi Chan, Perfect Enlightenment, like Buddha. “The Dharma of the Buddha is wonderful, well expounded, and practiced by the wise. I do not see anyone in the past, in the future, or in the present who has such wonderful teachings as the Buddha. “Buddha is self-enlightened by that dharma, has no hindrance, and abides. I don't see anyone in the past, in the future, or in the present, who can become self-enlightened in that dharma, communicate without hindrance, and abide like a Buddha. “Chu Hien! The Buddha became enlightened by that dharma and was able to reveal the path leading to Nirvana, leading to near and gradually to the place of integration and extinction. For example, the water of the Ganges River and the water of the Diemma River, both rivers flow into the sea. So is Buddha. It is possible to show the path leading to Nirvana, leading to near and gradually to the place of integration and cessation. I don't see anyone in the past, in the future, or in the present who can show the way to Nirvana like Buddha. “Chu Hien! The Tathagata accomplishes the retinue, including those who have wisdom, Sa-li, Brahmin, layman, recluse. I don't see anyone in the past, future, or present who has relatives like Buddha. “Chu Hien! The Tathagata has achieved great success. They are Bhikkhu-stilts, Bhikkhu-stilts nuns, Upasakas, Upasikas. I have not seen anyone in the past, in the future, or in the present who has achieved such a great accomplishment as the Buddha. “Chu Hien! The Tathagata's speech and actions are compatible. Speak as you do, do as you say, accomplish the dharma according to the dharma. I don't see anyone in the past, future, and present whose speech and actions are compatible, and who have accomplished the Dharma according to the Dharma like the Buddha. “Chu Hien! The Tathagata benefits everyone, bringing peace to everyone; With compassion, he benefits the gods and mankind. I don't see anyone in the past, in the future, in the present who benefits everyone and brings peace to everyone like Buddha. "Venerables, these are the eight unequaled dharmas about the Tathagata." At that time a Daoist said: "Suppose eight Buddhas were born in the world at once, it would increase many devas and decrease the number of Asuras." Another god said: "Not to mention eight Buddhas, even if there are seven Buddhas, six Buddhas, or two Buddhas are born, it will increase the number of gods and reduce the number of Asuras." Thich Dehuan Nhan immediately said to the Dao-li heaven: "I have heard from the Buddha and received the teachings directly from the Buddha, so it is never possible for two Buddhas to be born at once. But if the Tathagata had lived for a long time, out of compassion for all people, for the benefit of many, and for the welfare of gods and humans, then it would also be possible to increase the number of gods and reduce them. - that's it." Then Banjiajie said to the Buddha: "World-Honored One, the reason why the gods and goddesses gather in the Dharma lecture hall is to discuss, think, negotiate, and examine the commandments given. Then give it to the Four Heavenly Kings. The four heavenly kings, after receiving the reception, each sat in their own place. Before long, there was a strange great light illuminating the four directions. When the Daoists saw the light, they were all terrified: 'Now that there is this strange light, is something strange going to happen?' The great angels with great virtue were also frightened: 'Now there is this strange light, is it about to report something strange?' At that time, the Great Brahma King immediately transformed into a pupil with a five-pointed head, standing in the middle of nowhere, above the crowd, his beautiful face surpassing the crowd, his body was purple and yellow, blocking the light of the gods. The Celestial Knives did not rise to greet them, nor revere them, nor invite them to sit. When Pham Dong Tu sat in any god's seat, he was very happy. For example, King Empowerment of the Sa-li lineage, when he was crowned, then he was very happy and excited. "Sitting for a while, Dai Pham again transformed himself into the image of a pupil with a five-pointed head, sitting in the middle of the sky, above the crowd, like an athlete sitting on a firm seat, motionless, and chanted: "All Gods of Heaven's Blades" -li, With the Emperor Like Joy, Pay homage to the Tathagata, the Supreme Dharma King. The gods receive blessings: life, form, fame, happiness, and prestige. “Then, the Celestial Knives said to the medium: 'We have heard the Tathagata's eight incomparable dharmas, having heard the Emperor Shakyamuni, be overjoyed and overjoyed.' Pham Dong Tu then said to the gods: 'What are the eight unequaled dharmas about the Tathagata? We also want to hear. ' Thien De Thich then told the pupil the eight unequaled dharmas of the Tathagata. The Celestial Knives heard again, filled with unspeakable joy and excitement: 'May the Devas increase, the Asuras decrease.' “At that time, the mediums, seeing that the gods were happy, became more and more excited, and said to the Devas, 'Do you want to hear an incomparable dharma?' Dao-li Thien replied: 'Very good, we want to hear.' The pupil said: 'Listen, I will tell'." “O Gods of Swords! The Tathagata of the past, when he was still a bodhisattva, wherever he was born, everyone was intelligent and well-informed. “Friends, in the distant past, there was a king named Landlord. First Crown Prince named Tu Bi. The king's great minister was named Dien Ton and his son was named Diem Man. Prince Compassionately has a friend, and this friend often associates with six other Sacrificial deities. “Whenever the Great King of Land wants to go to the depths of the palace, then he entrusted the national affairs to the great god Dien Ton, and then entered the palace to sing and revel in the five senses. “When the great god Dien Ton wants to handle the country, he should ask his son about it first, and then decide. Or whatever you decide to do, listen to me. Then suddenly the Great God Dien Ton passed away. When the Landlord King heard the news, he was deeply saddened, beat his chest, and lamented: 'How terrible! Why unhappy! The country lost people, salaries turned on.' Prince Tu Bi thought to himself: 'Because of the loss of Dien Ton, the king was born in sorrow and pain. Let's go to the King, don't be sad because of that mourning. Why? Because the great god Dien Ton now has a son named Diem Man who is more intelligent than his father. Now the King can summon him to handle the national affairs'. “Then Prince Tu Bi immediately went to the King to express his opinion. The king obeyed and summoned Diem Man to say, 'Now, I will add you to your father's position and give you the seal of assistant general. ' After Diem Man received the seal of the sub-general, when the king wanted to enter the inner palace, he handed over the national affairs to Diem Man. “Diem Man already knows the treatment well. Not only did Diem Man know well what he did in the past, but also what he could not do before, Diem Man also knew well. Later, the name Diem Man spread throughout the country, so people called him Dai Dien Ton. “In the grave, Dai Dien Ton thought: 'The Land Lord is now old and weak, and won't live long. If now the Crown Prince succeeds to the throne, it is not difficult. Perhaps I should go and say to the six great Sa-li gods: 'The Landlord King is now old and weak, and will not live long. If now the Crown Prince succeeds to the throne, it is not difficult. But you should also pray for your own kingdom. When the Crown Prince ascends the throne, let's not forget each other.' “Then the Great Dian Ton went to the other six great sāli gods, saying: 'Sir, you should know, The King of Landlords is now old and weak, and does not have long to live; It is not difficult for the Crown Prince to say the King. You should come and express this to the Crown Prince: 'We have known each other since we were children. He suffers, we suffer, he is happy, we are happy. Now that the king is old and weak, he does not have long to live, it is not difficult for the Crown Prince to succeed the king. If you take the throne, please give us the land.' "The six great gods Sha-li immediately came to the Crown Prince. The crown prince replied: 'If I ascended the throne and divided the land as the kingdom, who else would I bestow it on?' Not long after, suddenly the king ascended to heaven. The great minister in the country came to pay homage to the Crown Prince, to ascend to the throne. After ascending to the throne, the new king thought: 'Now that he has established the position of Prime Minister, he should follow the Tien Vuong. But who is worthy of that nomination? It must be Dai Dien Ton.' The Compassionate King immediately summoned Dai Dien Ton to say: 'I now appoint you to the position of Prime Minister and give the seal. Thou shalt be diligent to the chief of state.' Dai Dien Ton obeyed orders and received seals. “Whenever the king retired to the palace, many national affairs were entrusted to Dai Dien Ton. Dai Dien Ton thought to himself: 'I should now go to the six Sa-li to see if they remember the previous words.' Then he went and said to the six great Sa-li gods: 'Do you remember what you said before? Now the Crown Prince has ascended the throne, staying in the inner palace, enjoying the five senses. Now you should come and ask the king: 'The king is in heaven, enjoying the five senses, do you still remember what he said before?' “The six shalits, hearing this, went to the king and said, 'The king is in the heavens, enjoying the five sensual pleasures, do you still remember what he said before? That: Cut the fiefdom, who is worthy of it?' The king replied: 'I have not forgotten! In the past, we have said, divide the land in the hamlet, who can not the khans. ' "Then the king thought to himself, 'This land of Jambudvipa is wide inside and out. Who is able to divide it into seven parts?' Then think: 'Only Dai Dien Ton can do this.' The king immediately summoned Dai Dien Ton and said, 'You shall divide this land of Jambudvipa into seven parts.' Dai Dien Ton then immediately divided it into seven parts. Cities, hamlets, and counties ruled by the king are all part of it. The six kingdoms led by the great deity Sahli were given a share to each country. The king was pleased and said: 'My wish has been fulfilled.' The six great Sa-li gods were also happy for their wishes to be fulfilled. This work was made possible thanks to Dai Dien Ton. 'The six Shalit kings thought to themselves: 'Our country has just been established, it needs an assistant minister. But know who can afford it? If there is someone like Dai Dien Ton, I will make it consul of the country.' 'The six Shalit kings all invited Dai Dien Ton to come and say: 'Our country needs an assistant general. Khanh, for my sake, consul, consul.' All six countries gave the seal of the sub-general. After Dai Dien Ton received the seal, the six kings retreated to the harem to enjoy sensual pleasures. Dai Dien Ton was assigned the national affairs, and handled the affairs of all seven countries; all are successful. 'At the same time, there are seven great lay people in the country, Dai Dien Ton also handles household chores for them. He was able to teach seven hundred Brahmas to read and recite sutras.' 'The Seven Kings respected him as a god. The seven great lay followers regarded him as the Great King. The other seven hundred Brahmans regarded him as Brahma. They all thought to themselves: 'Prime Minister Dai Dien Ton often met Brahma, talked, walked, and was friendly with Brahma.' "At that time, Dai Dien Ton secretly knew the idea of the seven Kings, laypeople, and Brahma, and said to himself: 'They say that I often meet Brahma, talk, walk, walk, friendly with Pham Thien. But we really have never seen Brahma, never talked to Brahma. We cannot be silent to receive that praise. I have also heard the monks say: Whoever spends four months of summer in a quiet place and practices the four immeasurables of Brahma's time will come down to meet him. Should I now cultivate the four immeasurables in order to be met by Brahma?' 'Then, the Great King of Kings went to the seven kings and said: 'Great King, please take care of the country. I want to enter the four months of summer to practice the four immeasurables.' Seven kings said: 'Khanh knows the time.' ' The Great Buddha again came and said to the seven lay followers: 'You guys should take care of your own business. I want to enter the four months of summer, cultivate the four immeasurables.' The lay people replied: 'Yes. He knows the time himself.' “He said again to the seven hundred Brahmas: 'Gentlemen, please read and recite diligently and instruct each other. I want to enter the four months of summer to practice the four immeasurables. ' The Phams replied: 'Yes. The master knows his own time.' “Then Dai Dien Ton in the east of that city built a hermitage, in the four months of summer, he rested there and practiced four immeasurables. But Brahma still did not appear. Dai Dien Ton thought to himself: 'I have heard from the old masters saying that if you practice four immeasurables for four months in the summer, there will be Brahma coming down, but now why can't you see anything in silence?' “On the full moon day, Dai Dien Ton came out of the private room and sat on an empty spot. Sitting there not long, suddenly a strange light appeared. Dai Dien Ton thought to himself: 'Is this strange light a sign of Brahma coming down?' “At that time, Brahma transformed into a medium with five crowns, sitting in the middle of the air, above Dai Dien Ton. Dai Dien Ton, after seeing it, said the chant: What kind of celestial image is this, Right in the middle of nowhere, Bright in all four directions, Like a pile of firewood? Pham Dong Tu replied with a verse: Duy Chu Thien of the Brahma Realm Knows me Pham has a pupil. Others tell me to Worship like a Great God. Dai Dien Ton replied with a verse: Now I will obey, Serve with respect, Offer superior things, May God know my heart. Pham Dong Tu said in a stanza: Now make this offering, Dien Ton, what do you need? What do you want, what do you want? I will give it to you. “Pham Thien again told Dien Ton: 'You can ask whatever you want. I will tell.' Dai Dien Ton thought: 'Should I ask about the present? Or the future?' Then he thought to himself: "What is the need for this present life to ask? Let's ask the unknown. He immediately turned to Pham Dong Tu and said the verse: I would like to ask Pham Dong, To resolve the doubt: What dharma to study and abide, To be born in Brahma? “Pham Dong Tu replied: Stop thinking about me, human; Solitude, practice from the heart; Except sex, not unclean, Born in Brahma. “Dai Dien Ton heard the verse and immediately thought: 'Pham Dong Tu said that the verse should eliminate uncleanness. I don't understand this. So you need to ask more'. Then said the shelf: Pham shelves say dirty, Please clarify me or: Who closes the world, Falling evil, not born in heaven? 'Pham Dong Tu replied with a verse: Lies and jealousy, Conceit, exalted pride Greed for lust, ill-will, delusion, full of mind, Is the world unclean; I tell you clearly. It opens the door to the world; Evil, not born in heaven. After listening, Dai Dien Ton thought to himself: 'According to Pham Dong Tu's words, now I understand the meaning of the word unclean. But at home, it can't be stopped. Would it be better for me to give up my life, go forth, shave off my beard and hair, dress in the Dharma, and cultivate the Way?' At that time, Pham Dong Tu knew his thoughts, so he said the verse: If you are brave, that Chi is wonderful; Is the act of wisdom level; Death all birth Brahma. “Then the pupil Pham suddenly disappeared. "At that time, Great Dien Ton returned, went to the seven kings, and said: 'Great King, I hope you bring your divine strength to handle the country. Now I have the intention to leave home, give up my life, busy practicing the Dharma. Why? I personally heard from Brahma talking about uncleanness that my heart hates. If it's at home, it can't be ruled out.' The Seven Kings thought to themselves: 'The Brahmins are often greedy for wealth, perhaps I should open up the treasury for him to use as he pleases, so as not to leave home.' Then called Dai Dien Ton to say: 'Whatever you want to use, I will provide it, you don't need to leave home.' Dai Dien Ton replied: 'I have been blessed by the King. I also have many talents. Now, please leave everything to the King. Please allow me to fulfill my wish to become a monk.' "The Seven Kings thought to themselves: 'Brahmins are often greedy for beauty. Perhaps we bring the female inner body to please, so as not to leave home.' Then he said to Dai Dien Ton: 'If you need a female body, I will give it all to you. There's no need to leave home anymore.' Dai Dien Ton replied: 'Now I have been blessed by the King. But there are many women in my house, so I'll give them all home. I just want to leave love and go forth to practice the religion. Because I personally heard Pham Dong Tu say dirty things, but my heart was disgusted. If you stay at home, you can't get rid of it.' “Then Dai Dien Ton recited a verse to the King of Compassion: Listen to me, King, when I say that the King is a human being, a person of wealth, a female body. That's not a hobby. “The Compassionate King replied with a verse: Thanh Dan-den: Gia Lang. The city of Abba: Father-peace. City A-table: Dai-tian. Old Citadel:, Champa. Number-di: Sat-la into Tay-da: Lo-lou into Ba-la city: Ga-thi. All were built by Dien Ton. How many five desires, I will give you. Let's look after the water. Should not leave home. “Dan Ton replied with the verse: Five desires, I do not lack. Just not worldly. After listening to God, I no longer wanted to stay at home. “The Compassionate King replied with a verse: The words of Dai Dien Ton said, From which heaven did he hear, But giving up the five desires? Now ask, hope to answer. “Dai Dien Ton said in a stanza: In the past, I was in a deserted place, alone, thinking for myself. Then Brahma King came, Shining bright. I heard from Him. No more worldly desires. “The Compassionate King said verse: Wait, Dai Dien Ton! To spread the good Dharma together; And then finally left home. Khanh is my teacher. For example in space, Pure, full of glass; Now we have pure faith, pervasive in the Buddhadharma. “Then Dai Dien Ton again recited: The gods and people of the world, All should release the five desires; Wash away the defilements, But practice the holy life. “Then the seven kings said to Dai Dien Ton: “You should postpone it for seven years to enjoy the five senses together. Then we left the country together, gave it back to our children, ordained together. Isn't it better? Whatever you possess, we share.' “The Great Dien Ton replied: 'The world is impermanent, human life is quick, it is difficult to preserve in just one breath. Isn't a delay of seven years too long now?" The seven kings said: 'Seven years is as long as six, five... or one year is fine. We stay in the palace to enjoy the five wonderful desires together. Then we left the country together, handed it over to our children, and left home together. Isn't it better? Whatever you possess, we share.' “Dai Dien Ton still replied: 'The world is impermanent, human life is quick, it is difficult to preserve in just one breath. So oil for a year is still long; not even seven months, or even a month.' The seven kings continued: 'Stop postponing seven days.' Dai Dien Ton replied: 'Seven days is not long, it can be postponed. Please do not be wrong, Your Majesty. If the king does not leave home after seven days, I will leave home alone.' “Then the Great Buddha again came to the seven lay people and told them: 'Each one should take care of his own business. I want to leave home and practice the unconditioned religion. Why? I personally heard from Brahma, talking about uncleanness that my heart hates. If you stay at home, you can't get rid of it.' “The seven lay followers replied to the Great Dian: 'Good, that intention! Please do what is appropriate. We also want to leave home together. What you possess, we should also share.' “Dai Dien Ton came again and said to the seven hundred Brahmas: 'Gentlemen, please practice diligently in chanting, spreading the Dharma, and then teaching each other. I want to leave home to practice the unconditioned religion. Why? I personally heard from Brahma talking about uncleanness, but my heart hated it. If you stay at home, you can't get rid of it.' At that time the seven hundred Brahmas said to Dai Dien Ton: 'Master, do not leave home. Family life is happy, enjoy the five senses, have many servants, and have no pain in mind. The monastic lives alone in a deserted place; I don't have anything I want, I can't get anything I want.' Dai Dien Ton replied: 'If I think that staying at home is fun, leaving home is suffering, I wouldn't have left home. But I thought staying at home was suffering, leaving home was fun, so I left home.' The Pham-Chi said: Great master ordained, we also ordained. Whatever the Master does, we follow.' “Dai Dien Ton came again and said to the wives: 'Now you are free. Whoever wants to stay, stay. Whoever wants to come back, come back. Now I want to leave home to seek the unconditioned path.' Then tell all of the above, and clearly state your intention to leave home. The ladies replied, 'If Dai Dien Ton was still at home, he would be both our husband and father. Now if we leave home, we will ask to follow. Whatever Dai Dien Ton does, we will also do.' “After seven days, Dai Dien Ton shaved off his beard and hair, wore three forensics, leave home. At the same time, the seven kings, seven lay people, seven hundred Brahmas, and forty wives, also left home in turn. Up to eighty-four thousand people, at the same time, followed Dai Dien Ton to become a monk. Dai Dien Ton often walks with the masses through the countries, spreading the word widely, bringing benefits to many people. “At that time, King Brahma said to the Celestial Congregation: Do not think that the Great God Dien Ton was at that time anyone else. It is the predecessor of the current Shakyamuni Buddha. At that time the Blessed One, after seven days, left home to practice the Way, lead large groups of people to travel across the world, and spread the word widely, benefiting many people. If you have doubts about what I say, you should go to the Blessed One, who is currently residing at Mount Kysarak, and ask. As the Buddha said, try to remember it." The music god Banjia-jing said to the Buddha: "World-Honored One! For that reason, I came here today. White World Honored One, That Great Dian-Tan is that World-Honored One, isn't he? After seven days, the World-Honored One left home to practice the Way; together with the seven kings, up to eighty-four thousand people at the same time ordained, traveling with them to different countries, teaching widely, benefiting many people, right?" The Buddha replied to Banjiajie: "Who was the Great Dien Ton at that time? Don't think so. That's what I am. At that time, every time girls and boys across the country walked, moved, had something dangerous, they immediately chanted: Namo Dai Dien Ton, the prime minister of the Seven Kings! Namo Dai Dien Ton, the Prime Minister of the Seven Kings! Recite up to three times like that. “Hey, Banjic! Dai Dien Ton at that time had great majesty and virtue, but he could not teach the ultimate path for his disciples, could not make disciples achieve a holy life, and could not lead to a peaceful end. The Dharma of Dai Dien Ton said, If any disciple practices, when the body breaks down, after death, he will only be reborn in the Brahma heaven. Those who practice more shallowly will be reborn in the Heaven of Tha Hoa Self. The second is the birth of the Self, Tu-sat-da, Diem-ma, Dao-li, the Four Heavenly Kings, or Sa-li, Brahmin, or lay-person. Whatever you want is fine. “Hey, Banjic! Dai Dien Ton's disciples are all monastics, not stupid. There are retributions, there are precepts, but it is not the ultimate path, it does not make the disciple realize the end of the holy life, does not lead the disciple to complete peace. The highest point of the other path points to the Brahma heaven. Now, my teaching to my disciples can make them quickly attain the ultimate path, attain the holy end, have a peaceful end, and finally enter Nirvana. My Dharma says, if any disciple practices, he should let go of the taint of being and become free of taints. Even in this life, one realizes for herself that the mind is liberated, wisdom is liberated, samsara has ended, the holy life has been established, what needs to be done has been done, and there is no more rebirth. Those who practice more shallowly will have ended the five fetters of the lower world and can enter Nirvana in the heavenly world, but not return to this realm. Second, the third section ends with history, sex, anger, and thin delusion, only having to be born in this realm once more will enter Nirvana. And secondly, after the end of the three ends, the fruit of Tu-da-complete, no longer falling into the evil path, at most seven births to this realm are certain to attain Nirvana. “Hey, Ban-jerk! My disciples who left home are not stupid, have retribution, have precepts, get to the end of the Dharma, the end of the holy life, the end of peace, and the end of Nirvana.samsara has ended, the holy life has been established, the work to be done has been done, there is no more rebirth.
