ECONOMIC-TUTORIAL. At that time, the young woman Kassapa and five bhikkhus traveled from the country of Kosala to a Brahmin village called Tu-bahe. Then the female Kassapa rested in the north of the forest of Thisara. At that time, there was a Brahmin named Titu, who lived in the village of Tu-bahe, a village rich in happiness, crowded with people, and crowded with trees, which King Pasena had bestowed for her. -la-mon bad-tu considered as a grace. The brahmin Bad Tu was a person who used to hold a different view and taught people: "There is no other world, no bio-birth, no retribution for good and evil." At that time, the people in the village Tu-ba-he heard that there was a female Kassapa with five bhikkhus from the country of Kosala who went to rest in the forest of Thishal, and discussed among themselves: "This young woman Kassapa is famous. great reputation, certified arahant, mature veteran, multi-literate, eloquent, intelligent, wise, eloquent, good at debating, It would be great if we could meet." Then the people in the village took turns looking for Kazakh every day. At that time, Tsui-tu, who was standing on the upper floor, saw everyone pulling together in groups, but did not know where to go, so he asked the person holding the parasol and said, "Why are these people grouping together like that?" The servant replied, "I have heard that Kassapa, together with five hundred bhikkhus, has come from the country of Kosala to stay in the forest of Thisara. Again it is rumored that he has a great reputation, has been certified as a Arhat, is a veteran, is well-versed, is well-versed in literature, is intelligent, has a great deal of wisdom, and is good at debating. The other people gathered in groups one after another, the group that wanted to see Kazakh." Bad Tu sent a servant: "Hurry up and tell these people, tell them to stop, and wait for me to come and meet them. Why? Because the other person is stupid, confused, deceives the world, says there is another world, there is biochemistry, have good and evil retribution. But in fact there is no other world, no biochemistry, no good and bad retribution.” The servant obediently went to the villager of Tubahe and said, "The brahmin told you to stop and wait, so that we can go and meet him." The villagers replied, "Very well, if we want to go, let's go together." The servant returned and said, “The others are stopping to wait. If you can go, then go." So-tzu immediately went downstairs, sent servants to prepare the vehicles, and with the group of people in the village surrounding each other, he went to the forest of Thisa-ba. When they arrived, everyone got out of the car and walked to Mr. Kassapa, asked questions and sat to one side. People in that village, Brahmins, laypeople, some people bowed to Kassapa and then sat down, some asked questions and sat down, some called themselves names and sat, some folded their hands and sat down. , someone just quietly sat down. At that time the Brahmin Deva said to Kassapa: “Now I have something to ask. Are you free to allow me to ask?" Kassapa replied, "Depending on where you ask, you'll know when you hear it." Bad Tu said, “My thesis is that there is no other world, no bio-birth, no retribution for good and bad deeds. How's your thesis?" Kassapa replied, "Now I ask you. Please answer according to your thoughts. Does the sun and moon above belong to this world or another world? Of heaven or of man?" The brahmin replied, "The sun and the moon belong to another world, not this world; belongs to heaven, not to man.” Kassapa said: "So you can know that there must be another world, there must be a rebirth, there must be good and bad retribution." The brahmin said, "Although you say that there are other worlds, there are rebirths, and there are good and bad retributions, in my opinion not all." Cassava asked: "What are the conditions to know that there is no other world, no rebirth, no good and bad retribution?" "There is a predestined"." "What are the conditions to say that there is no other world, no rebirth, no good and bad retribution?" The brahmin said, "Kassapa, I once had a relative who was very ill. I came to ask him: 'Ascetics and brahmins often adhere to prejudices, that those who kill, steal, commit adultery, double-tongued, lie, gossip, slander, envy, wrong view, after death all fall to hell. But I don't believe it because I've never seen anyone die and come back and tell them where they fell. If someone comes back and tells me where they fell, I believe it. Now you are my familiar place. You have created all ten evils. If it is true what Samon said, then he must die and fall into hell. Now I believe in you, it's up to you to decide. If there's a real hell scene, come back and tell me. Then I will believe. But, Kassapa, from the time he died until now he has disappeared and has never returned. That person is my relative, can't lie to me, promise not to come back. So I know for sure there is no other world.” Kassapa replied, "Those who have wisdom quickly understand through parables. I will give an example to explain. For example, a bandit, often embracing deception, violates the king's prohibition, is stalked and brought to the king and said: This man is a bandit, please rule him. The king immediately ordered the left and right to arrest the other man, spread moss all over the streets, then take him out of the city and hand him over to the executioner for execution. When left and right brought that bandit to hand it over to the executioner, the bandit used a soft word to the bodyguard, saying: Please let me go back to visit my neighbors to say goodbye, then I will return. O Brahmin, what do you think, Will the other guard be released?" Answer: “No”. Kashyapa said: "They are people of the same kind, living in the same life in the present, and still refuse to let go of your relatives, who have committed all ten evil deeds, and will die in hell. Demon hell does not have compassion, is not the same type, the world dies and lives differently. At that time, if his relatives asked the devil with sweet words: Please forgive me, let me return to the world to visit my relatives, say goodbye to a few words, I will return. Will he be released?” Answer: “No”. Kassapa said: "Just compare it enough to know. Why are you still holding on to delusions, giving birth to such wrong views?" Bad Tu said: “Although you have suggested that there is another world, I still think that there is not.” Kashyapa asked, "What other reason do you have for knowing that there is no other world?" “There is another reason to know there is no other world.” "What pretext?" “Hey Kazakh, Originally, I had a relative who was seriously ill. I went to her and said, 'The ascetics, brahmins, adhere to the superstition that there is another world. That one who does not kill, who does not steal, who does not commit adultery, who does not lie, is not double-tongued, who does not speak evil, who does not lie, who does not speak falsely, who does not speak falsely, who is not covetous, who is not envious, who does not have wrong views, will be reborn when he dies. heaven. I didn't believe it before, because I had never before seen a person die and come back and tell them where they were born. If anyone comes back and tells me where they were born, I believe it. Now that you are my relative, you have created all ten good things. If the result is as said by the Samana and Brahmin, then he will die and be reborn in heaven. Now I trust you to decide. So if there is really heavenly retribution, you must remember to come back and tell me so that I can believe it. But, Kassapa, from the day he died until now, he has not returned. He is a relative of mine, can't lie to me, promise not to come back. So there must be no other world.” Kashyapa said: "Those who have wisdom quickly understand through parables. I will give you an example. For example, someone fell into the latrine, their head sunk. Fortunately, the king let people pick him up. Using bamboo as a comb, scrape the person's body three times, then remove the beans with water and wash the ashes again.; After that, take a bath with perfumed water, rub all kinds of incense powders all over your body, and ask the barber to shave off your hair and beard. Let him wash his body three more times, wash him with perfumed water, rub him with incense powder, and clothe him with fine clothes, beautifying his body. Next, people bring delicious sweet food to eat and then bring it to a beautiful house to enjoy the five senses. Hey Bad Tu, does that person want to fall down the toilet again in the future?” "Are not. That filthy place, why come back?” “So are the gods. They consider this Jambudvipa to be a place of filth and uncleanness. They were hundreds of do-weeks away and still heard the foul smell of the world rushing up like a latrine. So, brahmin, your relatives are full of the ten virtues, naturally born in the heavens, enjoying the five sensual pleasures, and enjoying endless pleasures, would you be willing to return to this pitiful Jambudvipa?" Answer: “No”. "Just compare it enough to know, why are you still holding on to delusions, giving birth to wrong views!" The brahmin said, "Although you have alluded to say that there is another world, I still think that there is not." Kashyapa asked, "What other reason do you have for knowing that there is no other world?" "There's another reason" "What pretext?" “Kassapa, I once had a relative who was seriously ill. I came to say: Ascetics and brahmins, clinging to superstitions, say there is an afterlife. That he who does not kill, does not steal, does not commit adultery, does not lie, If you don't drink alcohol, when you die, you will be reborn in the Dao-Loi heaven. But I don't believe it because I've never seen anyone die and come back and tell them where they were born. If anyone comes back to tell me, I believe it right away. Now that you are my relative, you have fully cultivated the five precepts, and if you die, you will surely be reborn in the Dao-Loi. Now I just have to trust you to decide. So if there is a heaven of blessing, come back and tell me so I can believe it. But, Kassapa, he has not returned since the day he died. He is my relative, could he lie to me, promise and not return? So there is probably no afterlife.” Kassapa replied, "A hundred years in this world is only one day and one night in the Dao Loi heaven. The Realm of Supremacy also makes thirty days a month and twelve months a year, and yet people in the other heavens live for a thousand years like that. Brahmin, what do you think? When his relatives kept the five precepts, If I die, I will be reborn in the Dao-Loi heaven, thinking: I was born here, let's have fun for two or three days, then come back and tell my relatives. Like that, can we meet?" "Are not. I was long dead then, how could I meet you? But I do not believe it; Who told you that the Dao Loi heaven has such a long life?" “Those who have wisdom quickly understand through parables. I will give you an example. For example, someone was born blind and did not understand the five colors blue, yellow, red, white, rough, delicate, long and short; Neither the sun, the moon, the stars, the mounds, the springs, or the trenches were to be seen. If anyone asked him how green, yellow, red, and white he was, he answered right away: There are no five colors. In the same way, if asked about coarse, fine, long, short, sun, moon, stars, mounds, mountains, nibs, grooves, it also answers no. Brahmin, what do you think, is the blind man's answer correct?" "Incorrect. Why? The world now has five colors blue, yellow, red, white, coarse, fine, long, and short, but the blind say no." “So are you, brahmin. The long life of the Dao Loi heaven is real, not false; It's only because you can't see it that you say no." The brahmin said, "Even though you say yes, I still don't believe it." Kashyapa asked, "What reason do you have for thinking that there is no afterlife?" “Hey, Kassapa, there was a thief in my fief who was being stalked and brought to me and said, 'This man is a bandit, please take care of him. I immediately told the person to be tied up and put in a cauldron, covered with a thick layer of mud, not allowing anything to be released, and then surrounded by fire. At that time, I tried to find out where the person's consciousness escaped, so I made the attendants around the cauldron look closely, but no one saw where the consciousness came out. Then I opened the cauldron again to find, I don't see any place where the consciousness goes. Because of that, I know for sure that there is no other world.” Kassapa said, "Now I ask you, if you can answer, answer as you like. "Brahmin, when you were sleeping on a high floor, did you ever dream of mountains, forests, rivers, streams, gardens, ponds, hamlets, and roads?" Answer: "Having a dream". "Brahmin, when you were dreaming, did your family members surround you?" Answer: "Having a maid". "Did your relatives at that time see your consciousness go in and out?" "Not found"." “He is still alive, but his consciousness cannot even see in and out, let alone in the dead. You cannot just look at sentient beings based on what is in front of you. “There are monks, brahmin, who, from the beginning of the night to the end of the night, do not sleep, diligently reciting the Tao, using the strength of the samadhi to cultivate the divine eye. Then, by the power of the divine eye, one can see that living beings die here, are born there, die there, are born here, live long or die prematurely, beauty is good or bad, depending on their actions they receive good or bad retribution. all know it all. He should not because the eye of the flesh unclean can not see the whole place of the animal direction of sentient beings that hastily said that there is no. Thus, brahmin, it is possible to know for certain that there is another world.” The brahmin said, "Although you have led him to say that there is another world, as far as I know, there must be no." Kashyapa asked, "What reason do you have for saying that there is no other world?" Answer: “Yes”. "What pretext?" The brahmin said, "There was a man in my village who was a bandit and was stalked and caught and brought him to me and said, 'This man is a bandit, please take care of him. I immediately ordered the left and right to tie that person up, so that he could live and peel his skin to find consciousness. But didn't see anything. Wrong left and right to cut the meat to look for consciousness, but did not find it. Again, the wrong bone and tendons were broken, and I couldn't find it when I looked for it. Again, I beat the bone and looked in the marrow, but I couldn't find it. For that reason, Kassapa, I know for sure that there is no other world.” Kashyapa said: “Those of wisdom understand by parables. Let me make this clear to you. In the distant past, there was a ruined country that has not yet recovered. At that time, a group of merchants consisting of five hundred chariots passed through this country, and met a Brahman who worshiped the fire god who used to stay in a forest. New merchants came and asked to stay. In the morning, after the merchants left, Mr. Pham Chi thought to himself: Let's go to the place where the merchants sleep at night to see if they have missed anything? He immediately went to look, but saw nothing but a baby about a year old, sitting alone. Mr. Pham Chi thinks: I can't bear to see this child die in front of me. Should I bring this child back to my place to raise? He immediately carried it back to his place to raise it. The child grew older every day, becoming ten years older. At that time, Mr. Pham Chi had some business to go into the world, so he told the child: I have some business, temporarily leave for a few days. You keep this fire well and don't let it go out. If the fire goes out, then take two sticks and rub them together and light the fire. After the instructions, Pham Chi left. After he left, the child was playful, refused to take the fire for granted, and let the fire go out. The child returned home from playing and found the fire had gone out, and his brain lamented: "I messed it up! When my father left, he told me to take care of this fire and not let it go out. Now we play, let the fire go out. What do we need to do? It immediately blew ashes to find fire. I don't see any fire. He took out a hammer to chop wood and looked for it, but couldn't find it. Again cut firewood into chunks and put them in the mortar to find them. Didn't see either. Then Pham Chi returned from outside, went to the forest where he lived, and asked the child: Before leaving, I told you to watch the fire. Does the fire go out? The child replied, "Just now I ran out to play, not looking down on fire, so the fire was already out. Pham again asked: How do you get the fire back? The child replied: Fire comes from wood. I used a hammer to cut firewood and looked for it, but couldn't find it. Chop it up and put it in the mortar to find it, but can't find it. Mr. Pham Chi immediately took two sticks of firewood and rubbed them together, suddenly sparking fire. He piled wood on fire and told the child: If you want to find a fire, you must do it this way. Do not split firewood, crush it to find it. “You, brahmin, are the same way. There is no way to peel the skin of a dead person and find consciousness. You cannot rely on the appearance before your eyes to consider sentient beings. “Brahmin, there are bhikkhus, From the beginning of the night to the end of the night, without sleep, diligently reciting the Taoist product, using the strength of the samadhi to cultivate the divine eye. "Therefore, brahmin, to be able to know, there must be another world." Bad Tu said: "Although you have suggested that there is another world, as far as I know, there must be no." Kashyapa asked, "What reason do you have for saying that there is no other world?" "Have"." "What pretext?" The brahmin said, "In my fief, there is a bandit, who is stalked, caught, brought to me and said, 'This man is a warlord, please take care of him. I immediately ordered the right to bring that person to weight. The servant obeyed and weighed it. I said to the servant again: You bring this person to kill slowly, smoothly, without damaging any skin. The servant obeyed the order to kill without any loss. I ordered the right and left to bring the body back to balance. It's heavier than before. "Kassapa, when that person's body is alive, his consciousness is still alive, his beauty is good, he can speak, but he is light in weight. When he died, his consciousness was lost, his beauty was no longer good, he could not speak; but when you weigh it, it feels heavy. Because of that, I know there is no afterlife.” Kashyapa said, “I am going to ask you now. Optional answer. “For example, a person weighing iron. When the iron is cold, weigh it. After burning red, weigh again. Why is it that when iron is hot and soft, it is bright red but light, when it is cold, hard, it is not bright red, but heavy?" The brahmin said: "Rinated iron is red and soft, should be light; Cold iron is not red, but hard, so it is heavy.” Kashyapa said: “So are humans. When you live, there is beauty, softness and lightness. When she died, she was not beautiful, stiff but heavy. Because of this, we know that there is another world.” Bad Tu said: “Although you have led to say that there is another world. But as far as I know, there is no other world.” Kashyapa asked, "What reason do you have for thinking that there is no other world?" "Have. I used to have a relative who was seriously ill. I visited, told the helper to lie on the right hand side. He glanced, stretched, and spoke as usual. I told him to lie down on his left hand side, he still glanced, stretched, and spoke as usual. Then it died. I asked him to support the body lying on his right hand, left hand, upside down, upside down, looking closely, I didn't see him stretching, glancing, talking at all. So I know for sure there is no other world.” Cassava says: “A wise person understands by example. I will give you an example. “Once upon a time there was a country where no one had ever heard the sound of a horn. One day a good and good trumpeter went to that country, went into a certain village, took the trumpet and blew three times, and then dropped it on the ground. At that time, boys and girls in the village heard a strange voice and were alarmed, and asked each other: What language is so clear and gentle? The owner just goes to jail and speaks the Voice of that. The people of the village immediately patted the prison with their hands and said: You cry, you cry. But the prison and silence did not cry. The owner took the prison again and blew it three more times and then dropped it on the ground. The people in the village said: The beautiful language we heard earlier was not due to the power of the horn and the work, but it needed hands, a mouth, and a breath to make it sound. So are humans. It takes a life span, consciousness and breath to stretch, glance, and speak. No life, no consciousness, Without breath, one cannot stretch, glance, or speak." Again Kassapa advised: “You should give up that evil view. Don't keep it for the rest of your life, it will only lead to more suffering." The brahmin said, “I cannot give up. Why? I have been chanting and practicing since I was born. Where can you give up”.” Kashyapa said: "Those who have wisdom quickly understand through parables. I will now give you more examples. “Once upon a time, there was a country in which the people were devastated throughout the border. There are two people in the country, a wise man and a fool, who say to each other: I am your friend. Let's go out into the city to pick up wild rice and return to work. Then they went together. When coming to a deserted village, seeing thorns growing on the ground, the wise told the fools to take them together, each carrying their own burden. After passing the previous neighborhood, they saw a bunch of thorns. The wise say: Only this thorn has been made, small and fine, more worthy of taking. The other said: I've already tied the thorns tightly, I can't let go. The wise alone take a burden of thorns. They walked together, suddenly met a bunch of linen. The wise said: This linen fabric is made, light and smooth, it is better to take it. The other said, "I have already tied that thorn, and now I can't take it off. The wise immediately leave the burden of thorns and take linen as a burden. They went together again. Suddenly met a pile of cotton wool. Wise people say: Cotton is expensive, light and smooth, more worth taking. The other said: I have taken the thorn tree, bound it firmly, carried it far away and now I can't give it up. The wise alone leave the linen cloth and carry it with cotton. Delayed they met cotton thread, met cotton cloth; then met white copper, then met silver, then met gold. The wise say: If there is no gold, let's take silver, if not silver, let's take bronze, or let's take only thorns, otherwise only thorns will get thorns. but now in this village there is much gold, which is more precious than other treasures, you should give up the thorn tree, I will put away the silver to get the gold together, each person carrying the burden to bring back. But the other said, "I have bound a thorn, I have certainly carried it far away, and now I cannot let it go. If you want to get gold, take it, as you like. The wise man immediately gave up silver for gold, carrying a heavy burden. Arriving at the house, the wise people saw his shadow carrying a lot of gold and welcomed him with joy. Wise people see their relatives welcome and are even happier. The fool brought back the thorn tree, and the relatives saw it without joy and did not welcome it. A fool carrying thorns is also more sad and ashamed. "You, brahmin, should give up that inclination to evil views, and not let your whole life be filled with more suffering. Like a man carrying a thorn tree, clinging to his foolish intentions, refusing to take gold, but carrying thorns back, he is impatiently toil, relatives are not happy, they are poor all their lives, bringing more suffering to themselves.” The brahmin replied, "I can never give up my existing knowledge. Why? Because of that knowledge, I taught drawing to many people, bringing many benefits, all the kings of the four directions heard my name, and all knew that I was a scholar who advocated the annihilation of all." Again Kassapa said, "Those who have wisdom quickly understand through parables. I will now give you more examples. “Once upon a time, there was a country in which all the people were in ruins. At that time a caravan of a thousand chariots passed through that country. Because there is not enough water, rice, firewood and grass, the owner thinks: We are too many people, we cannot provide enough water, rice, firewood and grass on our own. Now let's divide the group into two parts. Part of the way forward. The leader of the front group met a man with a large body, red eyes, black face, and his body was covered with mud. Seeing that man walking from afar, the leader of the group asked: Where are you from? A: I came back from the neighborhood in front. Again asked: Is there a lot of water, grain, firewood and grass? A: There is a lot of water, grain, firewood and grass, not lacking. I encountered heavy rain in the middle of the road. There is a lot of water, but also a lot of firewood and grass. Again said to the owner: If you have rice and grass in your car, you can leave it all. Over there, there is no need to carry a heavy vehicle. Then the merchant said to the merchants: I have seen a man with a large body, red eyes and black face, rubbing mud all over his body, and walking from afar, I asked him: Where have you come from? Then that person replied, "From the village in the past." I asked: Is there a lot of water in that village? That person replied: The village is rich, there is no shortage of water, rice, firewood and grass. Again told me: I was just walking in the middle of the road when it rained heavily. This place has a lot of water; and a lot of firewood. Then he said to me: If you have any grain or grass in your car, you should put it all down. The other village is rich and doesn't need to carry a heavy vehicle. So you should leave the grass to light the car. Then, like that, the whole team put down all the rice and grass to let the light car go quickly. Going like that for a day, I didn't see any grass or water. Going for two days, three days, or even seven days, I can't find it. The merchants had to be miserable in the desert and were eaten by the devil. “The second team continued on their way. The merchant took the lead, and met a big man with red eyes, a black face, and his body was covered in mud. Seeing him walking from afar, the leader asked: Where did you come from? The other replied: I came back from the previous neighborhood. Again asked: Is there a lot of water, grain, firewood and grass? A: There are many there. Then said to the owner: I was in the middle of the road and met a heavy rain. There is a lot of water there, and there is also a lot of firewood and grass. Tell the owner again: In your car, if you have rice or grass, you can leave. The other side is abundant; No need to carry a heavy vehicle. At that time, the merchant returned and said to everyone: I have just come forward and met a person; He said to me: If you have grain in your car, you can throw it all away. Over there, there is no need to carry a heavy vehicle. Then the owner said: Paddy, grass; Be careful not to throw it away. When you get a new one, then give it up. Why? The new and the old are always looking forward to getting out of the wasteland. The whole group of traders carried heavy vehicles to go. After going for a day, there was no grass or water. Going for two days, three days to seven days was nowhere to be found, only the scattered bones of the previous group were left behind by the devil. "Brahmin, that red-faced black-faced man is the demon Rashat. Those who listen to it, suffer throughout their lives, It's like a group of merchants, because they have to die because they don't mind following the guide. The ascetics and Brahmins are diligent and wise, whatever they teach, those who listen to the times will live their whole lives in peace like a group of merchants, thanks to their wisdom, they will avoid accidents. "Brahmin, give up that evil view, and don't let your whole life only bring more suffering." The brahmin said, “I cannot give up that knowledge. If anyone comes to me, it will only make me angry, but I will never give up.” Kassapa continued: “Those of wisdom understand through parables. I will give you an example. “Once upon a time, there was a country in which all the people were in ruins. At that time there was a man who liked to raise pigs. When he went to a deserted village, he saw a lot of dry manure, so he thought to himself: There's a lot of dung here, but our pigs at home are hungry. We should take this manure pack and put it on our head and bring it home. Then he took the grass to pack the detachment. Suddenly, in the middle of the road, there was a heavy rain, fecal water ran down the heel. Everyone saw that and criticized him for being crazy: That dirty shit, assuming the weather clears up, you shouldn't wear it instead, let alone wear it in the middle of the rain. He got angry and yelled back: You are stupid, don't know that my pig is hungry at home. If you knew, you wouldn't say I'm stupid. “Hey Bad-Thou! You should give up that evil view, don't hold on to stupidity and suffer for the rest of your life. Like a fool who walked away with his excrement on, being reprimanded and dissuaded by others, and scolded him for being ignorant again!" The brahmin said to Kassapa: "If you say good deeds go to heaven and die rather than live, why don't you take your own knife or kill yourself with poison, or tie your hands and feet and throw yourself from above? high shore? But now all are greedy for life, no one commits suicide. As if it were enough to know that death is no better than life! Cassava says: “Those who have wisdom quickly understand through parables. I will now give you more examples. “Once in this Tubahe village, there was a Pham Chi, a veteran elder, one hundred and twenty-120 years old, with two wives, one had a child first, and the other was pregnant. It didn't take long for that maggot to die. The big mother said to the little mother: How much of this inheritance belongs to me, she has no share. The little mother said: Wait a little while for me to give birth. If it's a boy, he must have a share of the fortune. If it's a girl, if you marry her, you'll have money." But the children of the big wife begged three times to divide the inheritance, the little wife still replied as before. The son of the eldest wife was forced forever. The little wife then cut open her stomach with a knife to see if it was a boy or a girl. "Brahmin, this mother commits suicide, harming her unborn child. So are you brahmins, He killed himself and wanted to kill others. If the ascetics and brahmins diligently cultivate good morals and live a long life, they will bring many benefits and peace to human beings. “Now I will give you one last example to show you the harm of evil views. “In the past in this Tu-ba-he village, there were two skilled people who practiced the game of marbles. One day they competed with each other, one of them was superior. The loser said to the other: Stop taking today off to fight again tomorrow. The loser returned home to pick up a few marbles to play with, poisoned, dried, and brought it to a better place tomorrow to ask for a job again. Before playing together, the loser takes a poisoned marble and gives it to the better, the better takes it and swallows it. The loser gave more, the more swallowed, the poison ran away, making the whole body tremble. Then the loser scolded with a verse: I put medicine on the ball, You swallow without knowing. Be careful, swallow it, Later, you will know for yourself. “Hey Brahmin! You should quickly let go of that evil view, don't let the delusion continue to become more and more miserable, like the guy who did that trick and swallowed poison without knowing it! Then the brahmin said to Kassapa, "The venerable one has just talked about the moon simile, and I understand it. The reason why I refused many times was because I wanted to see his eloquent wisdom to increase my confidence. Now I take refuge in Kassapa.” Kashyapa replied, "You should not take refuge in me, but take refuge in the Supreme Being just as I have taken refuge." Bad Tu asked, "I don't understand where is the Supreme Being whom you have taken refuge in now?" Kassapa replied: "My teacher has passed away not long ago." .” Bad Tu said: "If the Blessed One is still alive, even from far or near, I will come to see for myself, take refuge and bow down. Now, when I hear Kassapa say that the Tathagata has passed away, I would like to take refuge in the Buddha, the Buddha, and the Sangha. Please Kassapa let me be an Upasaka in the Dharma; From now on, I swear for the rest of my life not to kill, not to steal, not to commit adultery, not to lie, not to drink alcohol. Now I will give alms to all.” Kassapa said: "If you kill living beings and beat your servants to celebrate, you are not doing pure merit. For example, on a dry land, gravel and thorns grow a lot, sow seeds and reap nothing. If you kill living beings, beat your servants to open a festival to give them wrong views, that is not pure merit. If he held a festival of alms without killing sentient beings, did not beat his servants with sticks and rods, and joyfully opened the festival to give to pure people, you would reap great blessings. For example, in a good field, in the right season, one will sow seed, and one will reap abundantly.” “Kassapa, from now on I will always give alms to the Sangha without interruption. At that time, there was a young Pham Chi named Ma-tou, standing behind Ti-tu. Bad Tu turned back and said, "Now I want to hold a great alms meeting, you can arrange and judge for me instead." Young Pham obediently arranges and arbitrates. When the arrangement was complete, he raised his voice and said, "May Mr. Tzuyu in this life, in the next life, receive no blessings at all." Bad Tu overheard, called young Pham Chi to ask: "Did you say that?" Young Pham replied: “That's right. I really did say that. Because of such poor raw food that he now prepares to give to the Sangha, if he tried to give it to him, he would not even touch it, let alone eat it. What is displayed now cannot be pleasing to the eye, how can there be pure retribution in the next life? He gave clothes to the Sangha but gave them all linen, if he tried to give it to him, he wouldn't even touch it with his feet, let alone wear it. What is presented now cannot be pleasing to the eye, how can there be pure retribution in the next life?" Then the brahmin said to Brahma again, "From now on, take what I eat and what I wear and give it to the Sangha." The young Pham obeyed and took what the king ate, what the king wore, and gave alms to the Sangha. When brahmins set up this pure gift, their body breaks up, their lives die, and they are reborn in a lower heaven. Pham even took care of the festival, and after he died, he was reborn in the Dao-loi heaven. At that time, the Brahmin Bad Tu, the young Brahma, and the assembly of Brahmins and laypeople in the village of Tubahe, after hearing what the young lady Kassapa had said, joyfully served them.
