The Buddhistization of Yasa.

)

Monks and nuns should take all their heart and energy to complete their liberation, so that they will be able to help and help each other, to alleviate suffering in life. that road? Teacher, I vow to follow the path that you teach.

Yasa is the sixth bhikkhu whose refuge is attained and attains Arahatship. Yasa lives in Baranasi, today in northern India. The following is the Buddha's teaching on the life of the monk before Yasa asked the Buddha's ordination.

Yasa was the son of a richest merchant in the city of Baranasi. Yasa lived in the life of the rich: high houses, wide doors, treasures, money, spirits, women, parties, fun.

But Yasa is a thoughtful son, Yasa no longer feels pleasure in that life. Yasa aspires to a healthy life, like a long-held man in a room filled with air.
One night, Yasa's friends gather to eat, drink and play with the dancers. Up in the middle of the night, Yasa saw the dancers lying face down, revealing their uncharacteristic truths, and Yasa felt unable to continue his exodus. Yasa put on a shirt, slipped into a pair of sandals and opened the door to leave the house. Yasa went out the front gate. Opening the front gate, Yasa goes without knowing where he is going. Yasa walked in the middle of the night, and inadvertently Yasa walked toward Deer Park.
When it came to Deer Park, it was light and Yasa met the Buddha. At this time the Buddha is meditating as a habit all day. The Buddha saw a thirty-year-old man in a delicate manner, the young man walking as he muttered something in his mouth as he approached. Buddha heard him mutter: "It is scary, it is disgusting." At that time, the young man still did not see the Buddha.

Buddha said:  - Nothing scary, nothing disgusting.

The Buddhist voice was clear and calm in the cool air of the morning. The young man looked startled. He saw the Buddha sitting relaxed on a rock, calm and tranquil.
He slipped his sandals, walked over to the Buddha, and bowed down, and he sat down on a rock near the Buddha, then introduced himself.

Buddha asked:
- What is scary? What is that disgusting?
The Buddha said: - Yasa life is full of suffering but also full of miraculous phenomena. Immerse yourself in sensual pleasures, which can only wreak havoc on the health of your body as well as your soul, and add to your suffering.

If we live a healthy life, not attracted to charisma, we can come in contact with so many miraculous scenes in life. Yasa, look at the trees standing in this fog. These are images that are both beautiful and mysterious. Moon, stars, rivers, mountains, sunlight, birds singing, streams ring ... all these manifestations of the universe are all beautiful, all beautiful, can give us endless fun sources .
These joys do not damage the health of the body and the soul, but also nourish the body and soul. My body and my soul are also miraculous events, I try to close my eyes, breathe in some trifle, and open my eyes. Do you see? My eyes can see the tree, see the dew, see the sky, see the warm sunshine; Your eyes are so mysterious, because you are not in touch with the mystery of existence, you have at some time hated my body and your soul. Some people are disgusted with their bodies, their souls, and their dislike of life, so they commit suicide. They do not know that all things are a mystery. They only see the face of suffering, but suffering is not the essence of all things. Suffering is due to the attitudes and misconceptions of human beings that have ...
Yasa is a very smart boy, the words of the Buddha as cool drops of water to his dry soul. Very happy, he kneeled at the foot of the Buddha and asked to be a student of the Buddha.
Buddha Yasa up. He said:
- The nuns live a life of transparency and humility, do not hold money, sleep in the leaves or under the tree, eat any food requested and eat only one meal a day. Can you live like that?
- Teacher, you can live like that.
The Buddha said:
- The monks and nuns should take all their heart and energy to complete their liberation, so that they can help life and help others, and reduce suffering in life. that way?
- Teacher, I volunteer to follow the path that the teacher taught.

- So I will let you go home. Those who practice in our congregation will be called mendicants. Everyday, begging for food is to feed ourselves, to cultivate humility, and to have the opportunity to interact with people who lead them on the path of virtue. END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.THE MIND OF ENLIGHTENMENT.VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=GOLDEN LOTUS MONASTERY=AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.19/11/2017.
