   1. BENEFITS OF THE FAITH

   At the time of the Buddha in Vesali, called the bhikkhus: These bhikkhus, there are five benefits to good men have faith. What year is it? 
   
   
   The Divine Persons, first and foremost, have compassion on those who have faith, not so for those who do not believe. 
   
   When they visit, they first visit those who have faith, not so for the unbeliever. 
   
   When accepting the truth, they accept first of all those who have faith, not so for those who do not believe. 
   
   They preach first to the faithful, not to those who do not believe. 
   
   Believers, after the body of the common body, is born to the realm, heaven. 
   
   These dharma, the bhikkhus, are the five benefits to good men have faith.
   
   For example, bhikkhus, on the good ground, at the intersection, has a large tree that is the refuge for the birds. Likewise, bhikkhus, the good men of faith are the refuge of the people, the bhikkhus, the bhikkhus, the lay men and lay women. 
   
   
   
   ADVISORY: 
   
   Faith, according to Buddhism, must be true faith, net of faith after being verified by wisdom. Belief that superficial, vague and easy to understand and lack of understanding of it is superstition.Therefore, to believe and understand to strengthen, the growth of faith is indispensable for the Buddhist faith.
   
   First of all, the Buddhists must establish the pure faith of the Three Jewels, because only the light of the Three Jewels is capable of dispelling the darkness of ignorance, extinguish craving and suffering. The summit of faith is devotion, absolute trust in the pure mind, self-nature enlightenment in itself. Since then, the effort to practice clear the mind, to enter the truth. 
   
   When there is trust, the layman gets five benefits. These are: meditation meditation, visitation, to the convent, lecture and when the body is born in heaven. In particular, it is mainstream faith that is "the refuge of the masses, the bhikkhus, the bhikkhus, the lay men and the lay women."
