The method of education of the Buddha

The teaching style of the Buddha

The Buddha is a non-monarchical, non-authoritarian and non-dictatorial leader of the church. He advised the great disciples, such as Xa-benefit-phat, Section-contact-gather ... disciples. The Buddha graciously imparted the experience of a teacher's style to the disciples. These are the relationships, the interaction between teachers and pupils. For the Buddha taught to:

- Have compassion on the student.

- Practice virtue and moral conduct for students.

- Teaching the students to place the scientific knowledge and wisdom of the ancient.

- Praise students in front of friends, and relatives. 

- Protect students from the dangers of life.

On the contrary, the student must show his true duties:

- Careful teacher care.

- Stand up when you come and serve when you need it. 

Listen to the teacher's words with reverence.

- Practice the duties that are necessary to me.

- Do what the teacher teaches (if those things are true law).

Đức Phật: Nhà giáo dục vĩ đại.


Con người vĩ đại đó, tấm lòng trí tuệ đó, phương pháp giáo dục siêu việt đó của đức Phật đã khiến muôn nghìn trái tim của nhân loại hướng về Ngài và tôn kính Ngài như một vị đạo sư siêu việt nhất trong lịch sử nhân loại.

I. Dẫn nhập

Dòng thời gian vẫn tiếp diễn qua nhanh như cố tìm quên cái gì của quá khứ, hết Xuân đến Hạ, Thu tàn Đông sang, vạn vật cứ chuyển xoay theo dòng đời vô tận. Quy luật vô thường là thế. Hơn hai mươi lăm thế kỷ trôi qua, vạn vật đều lắng chìm tận đáy dòng đời sinh diệt, diệt sinh. Thế nhưng cái giá trị nghìn đời của chân lý đạo đức sống của đức Thích Ca Mâu Ni, vẫn hiển hiện muôn màu, muôn vẻ. Bao tinh anh kết tụ và hội nhập tạo thành một vầng trăng chân lý vi diệu giữa hư không, vầng trăng ấy đã soi sáng rạng ngời, xua tan bóng tối vô minh của đêm trường tham ái, mang lại hạnh phúc cho con người.

Hôm nay, bao khối óc, bao con tim từ phương trời đất Việt trở về đây cùng hòa chung nhịp, đồng một chí hướng ngồi lại bên nhau, ôn lại chân lý ấy. Chân lý của con đường giải thoát mà đức Thích Ca Mâu Ni đã đạt được tại Bồ Đề Đạo Tràng này.

Suốt 45 năm du hành giáo hóa, sứ mệnh hoằng pháp của Như Lai chỉ tuyên dương con đường giải thoát. Những lời dạy của Ngài đã được kết lại thành Tam tạng Thánh điển. Ngày nay, được các nhà nghiên cứu trên thế giới nhận xét và đánh giá khác nhau. Giáo lý ấy ví như viên kim cương, tùy theo góc độ người đứng xem mà nhận xét. Vì vậy, có người đánh giá Ngài như một nhà triết học, lại có người nhận xét Ngài như một nhà khoa học, cũng có người cho rằng Ngài là nhà tâm lý học, nhà hùng biện…. Trong bài viết ngắn này, chúng tôi xin trình bày vài nét về đức Phật Thích Ca Mâu Ni như là một nhà giáo dục vĩ đại. 
 
II. Vài nét về giáo dục của đức Phật

Các nhà nghiên cứu giáo dục Phật giáo cho rằng nền giáo dục cổ đại Ấn Độ, đặc biệt là tinh thần giáo dục của Upanishad, chỉ nhằm khám phá ra sự huy hoàng của ánh đuốc thiên đàng, làm cho con người có cuộc sống ảo tưởng với vầng hào quang huy hoàng ấy. Theo kinh Badaryana của Bà-la-môn, mục tiêu giáo dục là nhằm tạo ra con người trí tuệ, thánh thiện và siêu nhiên. Vì vậy, mục đích giáo dục cổ đại Ấn Độ là chỉ đem lại tính chất làm tăng trưởng sức mạnh của tâm thức. Với ý tưởng phát triển hiểu biết của con người, giúp con người đứng vững đôi chân của mình bằng trí tuệ, lòng tự tin để mạnh dạn bước đi cho hết kiếp người trên đường đời đầy chông gai nghiệt ngã này. Hay nói cụ thể hơn, nền giáo dục cổ đại Ấn Độ nhắm tới việc xây dựng con người chân thật, theo đúng ý nghĩa của nó.
Theo Phật giáo, con người là trung tâm điểm. Sự chiến tranh hay hoà bình của nhân loại từ xưa đến nay đều do con người gây ra. Vấn đề chính yếu là là làm thế nào để giáo dục con người thẳng tiến trong con đường phát triển trí tuệ một cách có phương pháp để đem lại an lạc và hạnh phúc cho mình và người. Điều đó, đối với các nhà giáo dục cổ đại Ấn Độ lúc bấy giờ chỉ là một giấc mơ. Mãi đến khi tôn giả Gotama đạt được giác ngộ tại Bồ-đề Đạo Tràng này, thì giấc mơ ấy trở thành hiện thực. Đức Phật đã vạch ra con đường giáo dục cụ thể, có lý thuyết, có thực hành và có kết quả trí tuệ, giải thoát khỏi khổ đau thật sự từ con người, ngay trong đời sống hiện tại.
 
Tinh thần giáo dục của đức Phật

Đức Như Lai là một nhà giáo dục bình đẳng, Ngài tuyên bố với nhân loại rằng cánh cửa thành công đạt được con đường giải thoát phải rộng mở cho tất cả mọi người, từ nam nữ, lớn nhỏ, sang hèn, cao thấp,đạo đức hay tội lỗi. Nếu ai biết cải thiện đời sống trong sạch thì sẽ đạt được con đường giải thoát như đức Phật. Trong lịch sử nhân loại, đức Phật là người đầu tiên phủ nhận các học thuyết về tập cấp xã hội, trong đó, thể chế người có sức mạnh sẽ cai trị và là chân lý trong khi người yếu sức sẽ bị làm nô lệ. Đức Phật đã nâng những giai cấp thấp tận cùng xã hội đứng ngang hàng địa vị của những người được coi là giai cấp cao nhất lúc bấy giờ, thông qua tiêu chí đạo đức và trí tuệ. Cũng chính đức Phật, người đầu tiên trong lịch sử nhân loại, đã đưa vai trò người phụ nữ lên địa vị cao bằng cách thiếp lập giáo đoàn nữ đầu tiên trong lịch sử các tôn giáo. Theo đức Phật, nếu giá trị thật của con người nằm ở đời sống đạo đức và trí tuệ thì con đường giác ngộ giải thoát không có ranh giới của giới tính, chủng tộc, màu da... Bất cứ ai, một khi thực hành đúng chánh pháp sẽ chắc chắn chứng đắc được các quả vị như nhau, đạt được hạnh phúc và an lạc như nhau.

Mục đích giáo dục của đức Phật

Mục đích giáo dục của đức Phật nhắm vào con người nhiều hơn, vì con người là trung tâm điểm của thế giới. Hạnh phúc hay khổ đau, hòa bình hay chiến tranh cũng từ con người mang đến. Do đó, để xây dựng một xã hội vững mạnh và an định về kinh tế, chính trị, quốc phòng, văn hóa, giáo dục, trước tiên theo đức Phật phải giáo dục con người chính nó, từ mặt vật lý, tâm lý, sinh lý, cho đến ý chí tình cảm và trí tuệ. Đọc lại kinh Thiện Sanh thuộc kinh Trường Bộ số 16[1] chúng ta sẽ bắt gặp đức Phật nói về sáu mối tương quan để xây dựng một xã hội tốt đẹp. Đó là mối tương quan giữa cha mẹ và con cái; giữa Thầy và trò; vợ và chồng; cá nhân và bà con láng giềng, bạn bè; chủ và thợ; tu sĩ và cư sĩ. Trong đoạn kinh khác (Kinh Du Hành số 2- Trường A Hàm I), đức Phật trả lời gián tiếp với Bà-la-môn Võ Xá, đại thần của vua A Xà The,ᠶề 7 phương pháp làm cho đất nước cường thịnh. Kinh Tăng Chi, chương 7 pháp cũng đề cập đến 7 điều làm cho đất nước phồn vinh. Trong kinh Chuyển Luân Thánh Vương Tu Hành số 6 (Trường A Hàm I) đức Phật dạy, sở dĩ có người trộm cắp, hung ác, cướp bóc là do họ nghèo đói. Muốn chấm dứt nạn này (trộm cắp, hung ác, cướp bóc) thì phải cải thiện đời sống cho họ, cấp hạt giống cho người dân, đầu tư cho các thương gia và phải trả công thích đáng cho người làm thợ. Ngài cũng dạy, nên thay đổi chi phí cúng tế thần linh để cứu trợ cho người dân nghèo. Toàn bộ hệ thống giáo lý của đức Thế Tôn không ngoài mục đích cải tạo con người xấu thành người tốt, người tốt trở thành người tốt hơn, phàm thành thánh. Giáo dục của Phật giáo là giáo dục chuyển hoá bản thân và xã hội, trên cơ sở tự lực của mỗi người. 

Phương pháp giáo dục của đức Phật

Từ khi thành đạo cho đến ngày đi vào đại Niết-bàn, đức Như Lai không ngừng giáo dục cho nhân loại. Trong suốt quá trình 45 năm dài (theo kinh điển Pali) hay 49 năm (theo kinh điển Đại thừa), đức Phật đã tiếp xúc nhiều đối tượng khác nhau trong mọi tầng lớp xã hội, từ các nhà trí thức, đạo sĩ ngoại đạo, vua quan, người giàu sang, cho đến người thấp hèn, hạng người sát nhân, gái giang hồ, trẻ chăn trâu, ác ma, chư thiên, càn-thác-bà. Có khi Ngài dạy cả số đông hay một nhóm người hoặc nếu cần Ngài chỉ dạy cho một người. Sau thời giảng của đức Phật đều có người đắc được quả thánh thứ nhất và cuối cùng. Phương pháp của đức Phật nằm trên tính khế cơ, phân tích, giải thích rất tỉ mỉ và nhắc đi nhắc lại nhiều lần vấn đề gạn lọc tâm ý để thiện hoá con người và xã hội. Ngài thường dùng hình ảnh so sánh hoặc ví dụ và chọn lọc những gì mà chúng sanh đang cần dạy và liên quan đến cuộc sống hiện tại của người nghe, để giúp cho người nghe dễ dàng lãnh hội những ý tưởng sâu sắc trong những ngôn ngữ rất mộc mạc, bình dân.

Ví như trong kinh Tiễn Dụ số 221,[2] Tôn giả Man Đồng Tử đặt ra mười câu hỏi siêu hình để hỏi Thế Tôn: "Thế giới thường hay vô thường? Như Lai có tồn tại sau khi chết? v.v..." Thế Tôn đã im lặng không trả lời. Ngài nói cho Man Đồng Tử nghe câu chuyện một người bị mũi tên độc. Vấn đề cấp thiết là giải phẩu để giải độc ngay, chứ không phải là vấn đề tìm cho ra ngọn ngành mũi tên và người bắn mũi tên, bởi lẽ người trúng tên độc sẽ có thể chết trước khi biết được tông tích của hung thủ. Cũng thế, vấn đề cấp thiết của con người là nhổ mũi tên "khổ đau" chứ không phải đi tìm những câu trả lời cho các vấn đề siêu hình không thiết thực. Một lần khác ở Kosambi (Tương Ưng Bộ Kinh V), Thế Tôn dạy các Tỳ-kheo: "Những gì Như Lai biết ví như rừng lá Simsàpa, còn những gì mà Như Lai giảng dạy thì ít như nắm lá trong tay, nhưng đây là những phương thức thoát khổ." Đấy là tính chất thực tiễn, thực tế, rất thiết thực hiện tại của những lời giảng dạy của Thế Tôn. Chúng ta còn thường thấy ở các kinh khác, ý nghĩa thiết thực hiện tại được Thế Tôn cắt nghĩa: quán sát tự thân, tự tâm để thấy rõ tham, sân, si mà đoạn trừ. Chẳng hạn như pháp Tứ Đế, khi nào còn con người tham dục - còn đau khổ thì chân lý Tứ Đế vẫn còn tồn tại giá trị nghìn đời. Đó là một trong các ý nghĩa thiết thực nhất của bốn chân lý này.

Phong cách dạy của đức Phật

Như đã nói ở trên, đức Phật là người đầu tiên trong lịch sử nhân loại, phủ bác các chế độ tập cấp xã hội. Ngài luôn luôn nâng cao tinh thần tự do và bình đẳng. Ngài không bắt buộc người học trò rập khuôn theo Ngài, cũng không bắt buộc học trò nô lệ giáo lý hoặc nô lệ chính Ngài. Những ai học với Ngài đều được quyền tự do tư tưởng. Đức Phật thường dạy các đồ đệ đừng vì kính nể, tôn trọng Ngài mà nhắm mắt tin theo lời Ngài dạy. Hãy thực hành lời ngài dạy nếu tự mình tư duy, kiểm nghiệm và cảm thấy có lợi ích. Phong cách dạy của đức Phật đặt trên nền tảng trí tuệ và giải thoát làm căn bản. Bởi vậy, khi tiếp nhận lời dạy của đức Phật phải suy tư, phải tìm hiểu một cách kỹ thì mới có thể lãnh hội hết ý nghĩa thâm sâu chứa đựng bên trong, và dĩ nhiên lợi ích của nó lại càng to lớn hơn nữa. Trong kinh Kitagini (Trung Bộ 2) đức Phật dạy người học trò chơn chánh phải:"có lòng tin; đến gần; tỏ lòng tôn kính; lắng tai; nghe pháp; thọ trì pháp; suy tư ý nghĩa các pháp; chấp nhận các pháp; ước muốn sinh khởi; nỗ lực; cân nhắc và tinh cần."

Đức Phật vừa là một vị Thầy vừa là một vị Cha (Thiên Nhân chi Đạo Sư, Tứ Sanh chi Từ Phụ) của loài người và loài thần linh. Ngài luôn thể hiện lòng từ mẫn thương tưởng đến tất cả chúng sinh. Ngài dẫn dắt, an ủi, nâng đỡ những bà mẹ bạc phước như Patàcàrà và Kisàgotami. Tự tay Ngài chăm sóc cho những người bịnh hoạn, cô đơn như Patigatta Tissa Thera. Ngài giúp đỡ người nghèo đói và người bị bỏ rơi như Rujjumàlà và Sopàka. Đức Phật nâng đời sống đạo đức của những hạng người tội lỗi sát nhân như Angulimàla và hạng gái giang hồ hư hỏng như Ambapali. Ngài khuyến khích kẻ yếu hèn, đoàn kết lại những người chia rẽ. Tất cả đều hưởng được những lời dạy đầy trí tuệ của Ngài. Đức Phật là một vị Thầy bao giờ cũng thể hiện tình thân thiện đến những người học trò. Ngài thường sinh hoạt bên cạnh người học trò, theo dõi từng dòng tư tưởng của học trò, ví như người bác sĩ từng sống cùng bịnh nhân, nên hiểu từng căn bịnh của bịnh nhân mà cho thuốc. 

Đức Phật là vị Thầy không độc quyền, không độc đoán và không độc tài lãnh đạo giáo hội. Ngài khuyên các đệ tử lớn, như Xá-lợi-phất, Mục-kiền-liên... thu nhận đệ tử. Đức Phật ân cần truyền trao kinh nghiệm phong cách một vị thầy cho các đệ tử. Đó là những mối tương quan, ảnh hưởng qua lại giữa thầy và trò. Đối với người Thầy đức Phật dạy phải:

- Có lòng thương tưởng đến người học trò.

- Rèn luyện phẩm hạnh và tư cách đạo đức cho học trò.

- Truyền dạy cho học trò đến nơi đến chốn những kiến thức khoa học và trí tuệ của người xưa.

- Ngợi khen học trò trước mặt các bạn bè, và người thân. 

- Bảo vệ học trò khỏi những nguy khốn của cuộc đời.

Ngược lại, người học trò phải thể hiện đúng bổn phận của mình:

- Phụng dưỡng Thầy chu đáo.

- Đứng dậy chào khi Thầy đi tới và hầu hạ khi thầy cần đến. 

- Lắng nghe lời Thầy dạy với lòng tôn kính.

- Thực hành những bổn phận cần thiết đối với Thầy.

- Hết lòng thực hiện những điều Thầy dạy (nếu những điều đó đúng chính pháp).

Những gì đức Phật dạy đều phát xuất từ đời sống kinh nghiệm và chứng đắc của bản thân. Sau khi thực hành có hiệu quả, đức Phật đã truyền dạy lại cho chúng sinh. Trong Kinh Tăng Chi I,[3] đức Phật đã tán dương và xác nhận Tôn giả Xá-lợi-phất là đệ tử trí tuệ đệ nhất. Cũng trong kinh này, một lần khác đức Phật dạy: "Các Tỳ-kheo mong cầu một cách chơn chánh, sẽ mong cầu như sau: "Mong rằng ta sẽ như Xá-lợi-phất và Mục-kiền-liên." Đây là cán cân, này các Tỳ kheo, đây là đồ đo lường đối với các đệ tử Tỳ-kheo của ta, tức là Xá-lợi-phất và Mục-kiền-liên."[4] Tôn giả Xá-lợi-phất và Mục-kiền-liên thường thay mặt đức Phật giảng dạy hoặc hướng dẫn trực tiếp đại chúng và các Tỳ-kheo trẻ tuổi. 

Tóm lại, đức Phật là một vị Thầy giàu lòng bi mẫn và rộng lượng khoan hồng hơn tất cả. Đức Phật đã truyền dạy cho chúng ta những ý chí sắt đá, trí tuệ cao siêu, đức vị tha phục vụ, sự thoát ly chưa từng có, hãy sống đời gương mẫu, làm lợi lạc cho mình và người và cả hai. Phương pháp toàn thiện mà đức Phật đã truyền bá cho chúng ta có nhiều kết quả mỹ mãn. Con người vĩ đại đó, tấm lòng trí tuệ đó, phương pháp giáo dục siêu việt đó của đức Phật đã khiến muôn nghìn trái tim của nhân loại hướng về Ngài và tôn kính Ngài như một đạo sư siêu việt nhất trong lịch sử nhân loại, như Sri Radhakrishnan nói: "Nơi đức Phật Cồ-đàm ta nhận thấy một tinh hoa toàn thiện của phương Đông. Ảnh hưởng Ngài trong tư tưởng và đời sống nhân loại là một kỳ công hi hữu, cho đến ngày nay không thua kém của bất cứ vị giáo chủ nào trong lịch sử."[5]

Đức Phật là nhà giáo dục vĩ đại, phương pháp giáo dục của Ngài không chỉ khế cơ, khế lý mà còn khế thời, phù hợp và đáp ứng được những gì mà chúng sinh, hôm qua, hôm và ngày mai mong đợi. The more 
people resentment The loser is sleepy 
than the two loses 
It is okay to sleep.
Meaning that the more you lose, the better? Which has more than lose, from which there is resentment, there is suffering, there is this one there. So that is not necessarily the saddle, also lost is not quite finished. Lotion is also warm in the heart as well, so how can be fine? Often, I like to ask for the perfect, living with anyone who also requires him to be good to me, long time to see the good is angry, but try asking yourself is not fine?
The world is relative, the mind is impermanent, this is the way it is, but tomorrow it is impermanent where it changed again. So there is no perfect, demanding full beauty is love. Because of careful consideration, he himself is not perfect, in his own mind, sometimes even himself conflicted with me to say outside. So how do you want everyone to be fine, want all the outside is fine!
For example, the outside looks like fun, but sometimes suffering in the heart, in addition to fun but in the heart of suffering, or sometimes feel like to exhaust to practice but then less regret the world regret . So when you want to discharge, who wants to discharge, then regret who is who unfortunately, who insert into it? It is in my heart. I have conflicted with myself, or at some time this meal is going to hear the French but then go to play, or vice versa to go out and change the mind to hear the French. It's the same with me but why does it have that? So to see that even in the place where there is also contradictory, so how to claim the perfect full out. Do not ask? Suffering, it is simple!
So, as the Buddha that I call the full-fledged, the level of merit is dignified dignified, but the Buddha is the critic? The Buddha also has another cripple, some people cheat the Buddha is unpaid leave father leave his mother, left his wife left the forest. Some people compliment, too. Then drunk drinkers compliment? Some people praise, the same praise.
Thus, there is no such thing as complete. Thus the Buddha taught in the Dhammapada: "In the past, the future and now, there is this event: the one who is totally blamed, the one who is perfect is praised." He said that in all three times there was never The fact is that some people are completely praised as well as some who are completely blamed.

a living person.
Tad-da is the last meal for the Buddha before the Buddha entered Nirvana. Later there are critics such that he is blessed, because Buddha finished his feast and then Buddhism. Buddha said that the new Buddha praised, the Buddha said the two people have the greatest blessing is that people give food to the Buddha before the Buddha, and the last meal before the Buddha entered Nirvana. Buddha praised him for not regretting.

"Name of the world" means the title of the world as well as the early morning mist, then there and then lost. This place live experience is clear, people are famous but suddenly a victim died. As well as "wealthy businessmen", wealth is startling people, as well as dreams. Wealthy but much but the accident was also empty. Actually it is.
Basically, it is "not known in the past, no object". It is not clear what the truth is. "There is no such thing", then "the man who wastes a lifetime", that is, must understand the old truth. Understanding the truth of the world is relative, is to treat the open mind is the love affair, is living according to grace, depending on that is suffering. Understand that depending on the new coast, but depending on the coast do not do it.

Depending on this type of charm, who is in here who imitate it? It is because you see clearly in this life nothing important, especially not "the self". There is no one who can take what is lost, there is lost because there is this one, "I get" reputation, now "we lose" reputation, but not what we lose. In the Giac Vien Giac has the sentence: "This body is not true, love is from where?" Where the body is not true, the love where the hate where birth, where to cling there? I find that love is hate, there is lost because there is this one. If this one is not real then what is lost, love hate? Seeing so clearly know the true charm. This charm is a very deep point.
