The Buddha's teachings are concerned about the four relics.
4 Sacred relic: Where the Bodhisattva was born, where the Buddha attained enlightenment, where the Buddha passed dharma, where the Buddha entered Nirvana, the Buddha proved himself ancient, the disciples, the Buddha with heart in clean, pure faith, enthusiasm, enthusiasm, have enough conditions of pilgrimage to worship will be full blessing, the present is happy, the future is fertile direction.
The Shakyamuni Buddha is the Great Teacher, Heavenly Teacher, Teacher of Heaven and Man in the World. The events related to his life are extremely sacred to Buddhists all over the world. In particular, prior to the passing away, the Buddha had the teaching of "Four karmic centers", which later became the "Four Great Sacred Sites" of Indian Buddhism in particular, the world Buddhism in general: where Bodhisattva birth place, where the Buddha enlightenment, where the Buddha turned dhamma and where the Buddha entered Nirvana.
We would like to review the Buddha's teachings regarding the four historical landmarks with the jurors and Buddhists:
1. The Buddha's Teachings on the Mark "Born":
We Buddhists remember - in the garden of Lumbini, the old Kapilavastu, when queen Ma Gia with the branches of the hands of the flowers, the Prince Siddhartha "birth" born. The first miracle is that just born, Prince Siddhartha can walk seven steps and at his feet are the seven sacred shrines. The second miracle is that he has walked on seven sacred lotus, at the same time one hand pointed to the sky, one hand just land that proclaimed dharmakaya miracle: birth and death, joyful kim ".
We are living many lives, many lifetimes in the world of samsara because we often only live with mortal self, with our sin. So also drifting away countless lifetimes, but we can not escape the suffering of birth and death. The Buddha, on the contrary, while still mortal, each life of samsara is a meditation. Each time suffering is every time enlightenment, not let loose freely. Hui Neng, the sixth patriarch of Zen Buddhism in China, followed the path of Dharma in the Buddha: "I often see my fault, that is, in accordance with my religion." If we are aware of our own nature and do not allow the dust to become polluted, we can understand the Buddha's teachings.
Later, when near the market of Nirvana, where the mountain Spirit, the Buddha has shown in the Lotus Sutra why he appears in the realm of Madam: "Buddha was born for a great cause condition is to declare beings enlightenment enter the Buddha knowledge ". This assertion of the Buddha helps the Buddha to clarify our minds than the "solipsist" and "enlightenment", then to convince the Buddha. The "birth" of life in the world is due to the great compassion, great compassion of the hungry Buddha, sentient beings only show for beings and salvation beings. The joy will really come to him wholeheartedly when beings are achieving the way they are accomplished. "Tathagata is the Buddha has become, beings are the Buddha will be" is the ideal, the goal of the Buddha expects for all of us.
2. The Buddha's Teachings on the Sign of "Enlightenment":
We Buddhists should remember that the Buddha had spent many years looking for religion and asceticism (with the theory of 11 years, the theory of 6 years) can realize the Supreme Master Ching Hai, after When sitting under the tree Bodhi 49 days meditation. And when the glow of enlightenment, the Buddha uttered the dharma, self-grief in the boundless joy:
"Through many lifetimes in the cycle, the Tathagata wandering go, go forever.
Tathagata looking forever without meeting, Tathagata looking workmen take this house.
Repeated life is indeed troubling late.
Hey O house builder, Tathagata has found you.
From here you will not build a house for the Tathagata again. All frame are broken, trees
human monoclonal erected also be shattered!
Tathagata has The result of the immortal being and the Tathagata has eradicated all craving "
(Dhammapada)
This miracle teaches us that the Buddha has attained enlightenment, has penetrated the thunder and bundle of life and death, the reverse of falsehood, the illusory composition ..., members as full moon, there is nothing obscure. He has truly entered the supreme world of "solipsism" and "enlightenment of the Buddha wisdom" which he has shown to all people since he was first incarnated in his life.
3. The Buddha's Teachings on the Mark "Switching the Wheel of Faith":
As we all know, while on the path of Siddhartha, Siddhartha met the five brothers, A Kanda, as they exchanged the practice and promised each other when there was the Supreme Bodhi Bodhi they will return and communicate to each other. After attaining Buddhahood, the Buddha immediately came to the five brothers of Kieu Tran. And here, the Buddha preached the first sermon as the "Four Noble Truths," the "Four Noble Truths," indicating the state of all suffering in life, the source of the practice of suffering, the method of ending suffering. And the long way to live long happy etiquette.
Suffering: "This world is full of miseries, suffering is also suffering, aging is suffering, suffering is suffering, death is suffering, suffering from suffering is also suffering. It is true that this life because of not being free from suffering, it is called the truth of suffering. "(Sutra)The Buddha's teachings of this truth are daily around us, in our lives. Due to ignorance of the obscurity of many lives, we are mistakenly embraced in the heart of "falling and falling" so that the "suffering" in the wheel of suffering to torture from life to life, no longer know where that is so. If we want to end suffering, we have to stop on our own, to find the source of the constituents of suffering to peel back, do not create "human" again to escape the "fruit" of birth and death of many generations.Embodiment: "Why do human beings suffer?" It is most likely due to the affliction of the human mind that the defilements are derived from innate desires. born of acceptability to life, desires, wants to hear, wants to see, even if it is dead, this is called the cause of suffering "(Sutra)When we do not know why, we still have questions, do not know why we are suffering or suffering much, suffering less? Now that we know the cause, we think that everyone, especially the Buddhists, should try to practice, to learn to limit from time to time, and bring to an end all possible causes of suffering. for myself, my relatives and all strangers, far and away in my life.* Destruction: We have to eradicate suffering, if we lose all attachment, we will suffer from suffering, which is called the truth of cessation. The truth is that none of us live in the desire to bear unhappiness in our hearts. But it is not easy to eliminate afflictions, to eliminate suffering. Often, harassment or harassment, it has accumulated and dormant in the karma for a long time, including attachment and affliction. Now, if we are not resolved, refuse to use the Buddhist law to illuminate the karmic cause of life to get rid of, then do not know any new life to be exhausted!Man : "Want to enter the world of indescribable suffering, human beings must cultivate the 'right path', the 8th right foot, one sees the right foot, the other is the right foot, Four are righteous, five are righteousness, six are righteousness, seven are mindfulness, and eight are righteous thoughts. I have to imbibe these eight truths "(Sutra).
Life is a tribulation, who want to avoid suffering, it must be removed from the heart, bad words and actions of sin. Being a human being, a Buddhist who wants to go to the world of indescribable anguish, there is only one way of self-cultivation to attain enlightenment.
Therefore, the Buddha's sincerity in the faith must learn and understand these "four truths" noble. If you do not understand Buddhists, it is easy to go into the wrong path of suffering. When one understands these "four truths", human beings will know how to behave in life, to transform themselves, and to begin to ignore their desire for self, to be free from the world. Do not kill, do not steal, do not be guilty, do not cheat, do not despise, do not flatter, do not jealous, not angry, do not forget the impermanence of human life, do not mislead the way and not cause create guilt in life.
4. The Buddha's Teachings on the Imprint of Nirvana:
In the Mahaparinibbana, especially the Diocese, the Buddha taught many precious things about the virtue of a monk, an Arahant before the death of a Buddha is the Tathagata. Here I quote the last two teachings of the Buddha to teach the Great Ananda and the great masses:
- "Ananda, maybe you will say that the highest teachings will not be taught by you, we do not have the gurus, no, no, you should not think like that. Ananda, when the Tathagata is gone, then the teachings and precepts will be our gurus. ""Listen, my disciples, the Tathagata advises you: All conditioned things are impermanent. Take care, continuous diligence."
That is the ultimate instructions of the Buddha.
In summary, with 4 relics: (1) where the Bodhisattva's birth (Lumbini gardens, today in Nepal), (2) Buddha Gaya, (3) Isipatana, now the city of Sarnath), (4) Where the Buddha entered Nirvana, the Buddha proved himself ancient, the disciples, the Buddha with pure heart, pure faith, There are enough places to visit the pilgrimage will be full blessing, the present is happy, the future is driven to the scene.
Today, the Vietnamese Buddhists, although living away from the Buddha and Buddha land, every year the Buddha's birth, the Buddha attained enlightenment, the Buddha entered Nirvana ... re-read the history, recollection Again, the sacred teachings of the Buddha and still hear the heart as the surge of emotions, boundless happiness.
