The path of enlightenment according to the Nikaya sutras.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.

A Create Buddha is compassionate and wise, uncivil boat rescued all living creatures are immersed in the river of suffering love, is propelled into the six realms of samsara. Buddhism is also an equal and self-enlightened way for all who want to find the upper path of liberation and enlightenment. The Dhammapada has a saying:  "He is imbued with the teaching of living happily with a peaceful mind. The intellectual goods are always rejoicing in the teaching that the saints have found" .

Going back in time to look back on the past, Prince Siddhartha sees life as suffering, sentient beings rolling in the cycle of birth, death, death, aging, sickness, death, sadness, compassion, suffering. The mind, the brains, was unfolding in front of his eyes, so he gave up the throne, the jewel, the beautiful wife, and the beautiful son to find a koan for himself that is- freeing all sentient beings from samsara. birth and death. He said goodbye to the royal palace on a beautiful moonlit night when the morning star just rose with his compassionate son and Samaditan crossed the river A-ma-ma to seek the truth.

At first, he went to study with two masters named Alara Kalama and Adduka Ramaputta and witnessed the two states of mindlessness and non-realization of non-realism, but he thought that these two were not fruits. as He desires. Then he left these two to find the truth for his own koan.
After six years of ascetic practice, but he still achieved nothing:
Six-year-old forest search of the old forest.
Austerity who is equal to Thich Ca
Chim singing on the dew-covered shoulder
Deer calling on the snowy mountain.
He then abandoned this ascetic practice and returned to the middle way. He went to Bodhgaya to sit in samadhi under the root of Bodhisattva and vowed: "If I am not enlightened, even if my flesh is broken, I will not get up from this place."
During the 49 days and nights of sitting in meditation, he fought the enemy of inner afflictions such as greed, anger, delusion, suspicion and fought with the Thien Ma enemy commanded by Ma Vuong three weeks. After conquering the enemy inside and outside, his mind was cleared, he suddenly became enlightened, attained the ultimate enlightenment and became the Buddha Shakyamuni.
Buddha because of a great great aspiration, because of a boundless compassion, he ordained to seek religion. That great aspiration and compassion is: "Pray for Buddhahood to repay the four deep blessings above and below to save the three paths of suffering." So after he was enlightened, he did not enter Nirvana immediately, but immediately thought of educating sentient beings.
All sentient beings regardless of caste, race, or luxury, if practiced according to his teachings, they will be happy, free, and tranquil. Liberation according to Buddhism is not far away, but in this present life. The path of liberation that He taught us through the Nikàya sutras, is Morality, Concentration and Hue. The Four Foundations of Mindfulness teach:
"Hey bhikkhus, this is the only path leading to purification for sentient beings, overcoming sorrow and grief, eliminating suffering, attaining mindfulness, realizing nirvana, these are the four foundations of mindfulness."
The four foundations of mindfulness are: body contemplation on the body; life expectancy on feelings; mindfulness on the mind and contemplating the Dhamma on the
four foundations of mindfulness is the Method of Only-Quan or Concentration-Wisdom song tu. But before going into the practice of just contemplating but he teaches us to keep the precepts, if we keep the precepts, we will be clean and gentle so that we can enter the meditation practice with many good results. The precepts are like a barrier to prevent foreign ghosts from entering, keep the inner mind calm, to enter samadhi easily, so the Buddha always taught his disciples to observe the precepts before meditating. . This is clearly stated by the Buddha in the following  Great Horse Comedy  :
- Be aware of nobility while receiving offerings.
- Body action, speech, mind, life must be pure, righteous.
- Must maintain the apartments.
- Must moderate in eating.
- Must pay attention.
After observing the precepts to purify the body, we choose a serene place like a meditation hall, a tree stump, a forest, or anywhere that is convenient and comfortable for meditation, and then we sit with our back full. straighten and stay mindful in front of you, then practice the method of reciting the in and out breath ( Anàpànasati ). In the One Dharma Sutta, the Buddha taught the method of reciting the in and out breath with 16 headings: four headings on body; four headings about life; four headings on mind and four items of dharma.
This dharma belongs to the method of the Four Foundations of Mindfulness ( cattàro - satipatthàna ), which is the method that refers to the four places bases ) to abide in mind , ie body, feeling, mind and dhamma. The Dharma of  Anàpànasati This deals with 16 topics of body, four topics of feeling, four topics of mind, and four topics of dhamma. The meditator breathes in and out, while contemplating on 16 topics related to the breath.
This dharma is for both meditation and wisdom, consisting of only ( samatha ) and contemplation ( vipasana ). Both contemplation are dual practice in this method. When using the four columns of mind on the breath in and out of breath, so is only, so is concentration. When we take wisdom to contemplate the 16 selected topics, so is contemplation, so is wisdom.
Practicing meditation can only prove from first meditation to four meditation, and then from the infinite origin to the non-non-ideal origin. Then use meditation to realize the cessation of perception. Or maybe from the four meditation and then turn to meditation to direct the mind to mindfulness, samsara, and mindfulness. When the mind is directed to contraband as real as it  is true: "This is suffering, this is the cause of suffering, this is the path leading to suffering cessation, these are the contraband, these are the causes of contraband, this is the contraband or cessation, this is the path leading to the contraband or cessation. There is no going back from this life. "  That is why meditation plays a very important role in the process of leading to liberation.
Looking at the life after becoming virtuous of Father Diep, we see, his daily life has two main things: sermon and meditation. He is the righteous, fully enlightened person, who is revered and revered by the world, but he still meditates every day, that is because he wants to be an example so that his disciples must always diligently practice meditation. We often encounter two advice of the Buddha to ordained monks:
"Bhikkhus, when you gather together there are usually two things to do: one is to discuss the Buddha's teachings, the other is to keep still. silence of the saint " . The holy silence here is meditation.
The second is the Buddha's meditation advice: "Hey, monks, this is the stump, these are empty houses, monks, please practice meditation, don't be distracted, don't have any regrets later. This is the teaching of I unto you. "  And when you are about to enter Nirvana, the Buddha repeated the lifestyle of monks at winning is to practice meditation, meditation.
" Hey ANADA, in life, monks, for body contemplation, diligence, awareness, mindfulness, regaining all craving, compassion in the world, for feelings ... for mind ... for dhammas, contemplation France, diligence, awareness, mindfulness, regaining all craving, compassion in life. Hey, Anada, so the bhikkhu is a lamp for himself, leaning on himself, not leaning on anything else, using the dharma as a lamp, using the dharma as a refuge, no refuge Like something else. "
The Buddha always taught his disciples, even when he was alive, as well as before passing away, to meditate diligently, because the only way to enlightenment and liberation is meditation.
As we see our Guru before his enlightenment, he had so many experiences in meditation and discovered for himself the path of the precepts of wisdom that leads to enlightenment and liberation, until enlightenment and even before Nirvana he practiced meditation. During the 45 years after he became enlightened, he lectured, meditated and taught his disciples to meditate, his lectures emphasized meditation.
We are post-graduate students, on the way to practice, in order to follow in his footsteps, we must meditate diligently, but before we meditate we must keep the precepts strictly, because there is new precepts to enter. okay, when concentration is full, wisdom arises. Wisdom is the sharpest sword, able to cut off the roots of defilements, greed, anger, delusion, conceit, and doubt, just like the Tala tree, once cut off, cannot grow any more. When the fetters are at the root, we will be happy, free. This liberating joy is not far away, but it is in this life itself.
Therefore, all of us, now, at the moment, must strive diligently to study, practice the Three Immaculate Constructions (world-knowledge). Because that is the only way that leads us to the realm of bliss, liberation, passing away, and Nirvana.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.26/8/2020.
