Extensive practice of merit dedicating to rebirth.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.
In the Sutta of the Immeasurable Life it reads: "Buddha told Ananda and Madame Vi De Hy that if there are any sentient beings praying to be born to the West of the Pure Land, then arise 3 minds to die immediately.
The three minds are:
1. Chi sincere
2. Mindfulness
3. Dedicating the mind to aspire to.
Having all three of those minds, determined to be reborn in the other realm. "
The term "mindful" in the sutras indicates the mind that cultivates merit and likes to do good deeds.
The word "Dedicate to generate the mind" refers to the mind that wants to bring the merits cultivated or bring good works done, towards the result of Bliss to pray for rebirth.
In Buddhism, the dedication of merit has a vital value. The 20th Vow of Amitabha Buddha was mentioned. So please briefly explain the meaning of the dedication of merit as follows:
1. The Buddha's virtue and effect have the power of impossibility:
2. The pure consciousness of beings has the impossibility of power;
3. The mind of sentient beings also has an impossible ability. Meeting all three of these incredible abilities constitutes the Pure Land method. So, the Pure Land method is also impossible to think.
In theory, the practitioner just reciting the Buddha's name is enough to pass away. because:
1. It is necessary to make offerings to Amitabha Buddha to solemn Buddha degrees.
2. It is necessary to do the supportive conditions to increase the result.
3. Need to develop Mahayana mind under the Bodhisattva's virtue.
Because of the above reasons, not only reciting the Buddha's name but given it is enough. Anything cannot cause cause and effect; whether it is worldly or worldly. Regardless of the mindfulness of good or evil or the action of good or evil, there are consequences. Based on that reason, we can know that practitioners practice good Dharma, in the future must be determined to be blessed. Assuming that the good is of the kind of good and righteous, then in the future will enjoy the blessings of benevolence, but not to save the peaceful, because there is still fall in samsara. Assuming that the good is of the kind that comes out of the world, in the future, it will be born on the Five imperfections (the realm of the four holy results: Tu da complete, Tu da function, A na function, A la Han) or ten Pure Land.
If for reasons do not want to enjoy karmic retribution due to fear of remaining perverted samsara, one voluntarily dedicates all of his merit or unrighteous merit or unrighteous merit, as an assistant to the monks to pray. the ultimate bliss of Amitabha. Thus, how many blessings will be caused by the past, the former will not be able to master, but the place of maturity will only be in the world of Bliss. Having gathered in one place, even though the pure karma is not complete, the merit is still accomplished.
Because all dhammas are due to spirituality. The mind has the function of cultivating karma, and has the function of transferring karma. Therefore, when the practitioner directs all the kamma towards the result of Bliss, that mind not only has the power to regulate the unobtrusive seeds that have been cultivated in the eighth disciple, it also makes them know the quality. To become the pure Dharma seed completely free of contraband, His son has already decided, so the future place where he will enjoy the karmic retribution can also know with certainty. This is a rationalist explanation, a very profound teaching in the Dharma.
In the Pure Land practice, dedication occupies a very important position. Practitioners must have confidence to take effect.
Most of all, if there is a point of doubt in the heart, the mind will lose its use, it is impossible to change the seed seed in the eight-consciousness. If the mind is in doubt, the Pure Land method will not bring any effect to the practitioner. Sutras teach: "In doubt, the flower does not bloom" is just for that excuse.
Amitabha Buddha knew that the seed can be changed from righteousness to uninhibited, merit can be transferred from one realm to another, so the 20th vow has been made. Over the past hundred thousand years, the Great Germany also understands that reason clearly, so I have just composed articles to devote vows to dedicate.
Practitioners no matter what merits do, whether they only help the difficult one with a coin or only save the life of an ant, after finishing, must also visualize Amitabha Buddha as standing in front of him and clasp his hands with his bow. Respectfully read the following
dedication verse: May this merit bring to the
solemnity of Buddha degrees
On the temple of four deep blessings
Below save the three paths of suffering
If someone hears the
same source of bodhicitta
When completing this body, the
kingdom of bliss comes
after When I read that verse, how much merit immediately felt the Buddha's mind force corresponding to our mind. The inductive power of the two sides is the "self-indulgence" of passing away.
All the dedicating merit, regardless of whether the merit belongs to the kind of contraband or unrighteous, becomes the conscience of death, in accordance with the 20th vow of Amitabha Buddha. Surely the future will be satisfied not wrong.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.30/8/2020.
