Dear father, mother.

I. MAJORITY:

The word filial piety is the foundation of morality. The family is the foundation of society. In the family, filial piety is the foundation to build happiness, bring happiness and happiness to everyone.

Children are filial to their parents, in addition to bringing common happiness in the family, they also bring themselves peace and peace. Every individual, every family in society, every citizen of a country with peace, peace, society, that nation will have peace and peace, and every society, every nation has peace. safe, our world will be peaceful and peaceful.

Without unconditional  love of respect for a parent  , there can be no true love for another person.  A society without individuals having true love, only individuals, whose love exists only when the conditions resulting from lust have been satisfied, if not according to the desire, if contrary to will, that love will dissolve, easily turn into contempt, envy, jealousy and hatred. Then that society will not be able to have true peace, peace.

The customs and habits of the peoples, the teachings of the religions all advise, promote and direct people to realize and show their filial filial piety. Especially our country with a long-developed civilization, the Confucian-Buddha-Lao culture has deeply influenced the society since the founding of the nation. The word filial piety has been formed and exists in each individual as a natural nature that has been inherent since we were born.

" The father as a mountain

Mother means like water in the source flowing out

One Heart Worship Mother Glass Father

To round the word filial piety is the religion "

        'Where to practice the house,

Worshiping parents who respect their parents is true "

Every Vietnamese person, no one does not memorize these verses and how often we remember it, to find a way to show our filial filial piety in reality, it depends. into each person's circumstances and conditions.

Moreover, because the cognitive ability of each individual is different, so filial piety is conscious and performed at a high or low level, depending on one's cognitive ability. There are even cases where the filial piety towards parents is inherent from birth, but until now, after more than 20 years, 30 years, sometimes up to 50 or 60 years, it is still lying motionless at the bottom. soul, obscured, hidden under the sediment of ignorance and desire.

This is the case of great misfortune for that person, they are in the realm of great ignorance, paralysis, and delusion. Pitiful!

Buddhism is one of the religions that always promote filial piety, always respecting parents at the highest level:

"When there was no Buddha, being skillful in worshiping his parents meant worshiping Buddha"

                                                                                 [Great Episodes]

"Worshiping heaven and earth funds to gods, is not equal to filial filial piety, because parents are the highest gods of intelligence"

                                                                                              [The Four Seasons Chapter]

“Brahma, monks, are synonymous with parents.

The old masters, monks, are synonymous with parents.

Worth making offerings, monks, are synonymous with parents.

                                                                                                                [Tang Chi II A]

Buddhism considers filial piety the highest virtue, supreme good and filial piety as both the greatest evil:

"The supreme good is nothing more than filial piety,

The most evil is nothing more than filial piety "

                                                  [Scripture]

“Being a child to a parent, when giving things to parents, no matter how small they are, they will be immeasurably blessed,

When doing unwholesome things toward parents, even a little, the crime is immeasurable "

                                                                                                          [The Scriptures]

The Buddha, the Enlightened one, the master of all the gods and humans, the Great Wisdom, who is in the six realms of Veneration, the Chief Enlightened One. After becoming enlightened, he showed his filial kindness to his father, mother, and mother-in-law, both following the common law and the right Dharma.

The Blessed One walked, crossed a thousand miles of dangerous roads to return to visit his father, when he was about to die, he again went far to reach his father's side and carried himself a spiritual corner to the cremation place. With his stepmother, he always showed kindness.

    Besides displaying the word filial piety according to the common law, the Buddha's filial kindness also aims to direct all sentient beings to understand and practice the Dharma for liberation. During the meeting with his father and mother, he gave a sermon to enable both to attain Arahantship. sample sermons}

The word Hieu, the expression of compassion. Is He manifested to all mothers who are residing in the world, in the celestial world or who are living in the realms of karma. He has the means to preach, to bring them from darkness to light, from suffering to peace and happiness.

"What do you think, monks? What is more? Correct the mother that you drank, while you circulated for a long time, or was the water in the four seas?

              …………………………………………………………………………………

"This is more, Bhikkhus, that is the milk you drink, while you circulate in samsara for a long time, not water in the four seas"

The Buddha always advised us to thank our parents and repay them: / p>

“Serving parents is not in short supply, they must report to their parents in advance. . "

                                                                                                        [Great School of A Ham]

Serving, offering to parents is the right thing to do. But because parents do evil, because they want them to be happy, they work inhumanly, certain times cannot be accepted. For doing so only brings harm to yourself and even brings harm to your parents:

"One who has done evil to nurture his parents cannot avoid the retribution of his unwholesome deeds; and as such, it is impossible to use the cause of nurturing parents to save themselves and to justify their unrighteous acts ”

                                                                                                                [Kinh Trung Bo]

We nurture our parents not only enjoy a lot of happiness from our parents 'and relatives' love, but also receive social admiration and respect, and also enjoy good karmic retribution. filial piety brings:

“Someone who follows the common law

           Nurturing mother and father,

It is because of this deed,

           For parents,

           As a result, the Sage,

           In this life, praise,

           After death is born

Enjoy the bliss of the gods "

                                         [Corresponding Sutra]

          "To worship parents properly,

            Trade right, honest,

            The owner is not distracted,

            Born Tu Quang Thien ”

                                         [Suttanipata Sutra]

         “Parents are Pham Thien

           The masters of the past,

           Deserving an offering,

           For loving children and grandchildren.

           So the wise,

           Pay homage and respect,

           Offering food and drink,

           Fabrics and bedding,

           Body massage,

           Wash both hands and feet,

           With such a practice,

           For mother and father,

           In this life, gentle people,

           After life, enjoy the bliss

“Which families, monks, in which children pay homage to their parents, those families are equally accepted by Pham Thien. Which families, monks, in which children pay homage to their parents, those families are accepted as the masters of the past "

The purpose of the Buddha is to follow the Buddha's teachings, always aim to get rid of suffering, bring happiness, true peace, stability for oneself, for others in the present and in the present. long term future. So it is good to have the full materialistic duality, but it gets even better, once we find a way to direct our parents to the Dharma. If we come to Buddhism, learn and practice according to the Buddha's teachings, if we are fortunate, enjoy some taste of the Dharma, why not give our parents such a good thing? . The delicious food we also offer to our parents, let alone this is the most noble of all noble things.

“If you want to repay your parents, you should advise them to come to the Three Jewels; for the legal causes and effects. parents do not believe, find ways to advise parents to believe; Parents already believe, find ways to increase their faith. If parents do not keep the pure precepts, they encourage and guide the pure precepts. Parents have a greedy heart, then encourage and guide the work of almsgiving, contemplation of renunciation; help parents skillfully self-conquer, dwell in the Dharma. That is what is called the true blessing of parents.

                                                                                                                        [Book Scene]

Or like parents who have an unhealthy lifestyle, many unwholesome, the time must be determined to actively find the right conditions and advise and instruct them to give up that life and do physical good deeds. words, thoughts, living a life of goodness.

Not only did The Ton advise to teach the word Hieu to the lay people, but also to the monks, he always reminded:

"Monks and monks, there are two Buddhas living in your house, that is father and mother"

“The monks, there are two people who even if they instruct them to do good things, they still cannot repay their favor, they are father and mother. Teachers must take care of their parents, always be pious at the right time, and do not miss the opportunity "

When parents are still alive, they must take advantage of this precious time to care, care and visit. That is called the right time. If not, then when the parents die there will be no more chance. At that time, no matter how regrettable we regretted it, how we organized the ceremony, how big the prostration was no longer meaningful.

Therefore, it is fortunate for those who are having the opportunity to repay the merit of birth:

“Taking care of father and mother

               Is the ultimate luck ”

                                  [Happy Sutra]

Not only the lay people, but also the monks who are filial with their parents also enjoy great retribution:

“There are two things of great merit, great retribution, and exposure, namely, serving the father and serving the mother. Therefore, monks, on stilts, always remember that you are willing to take care of your parents "

As above, we can see clearly, from the monks, the monks, to the lay monastics, to the unbelievers, all are advised by the Blessed One to teach filial piety towards their father. mother, and as a result, for us Vietnamese, filial piety which is deeply imprinted in the soul, is expressed through many verses and proverbs; Nowadays, the word Hieu has a very important role and meaning in the life of the Vietnamese people

"Filial mind is the mind of Buddha,

Filial virtue is Buddha's virtue "

II. SUGGESTIONS ABOUT ORIGINAL DATE:

During 45 years of propaganda, from the first sermon, to the years of old age and weakness, to the days of entering Nirvana at the age of 80. The World Religion persisted day by day, traveling to everywhere, from poor villages in the mountainous steppe with deep pools and cliffs; to urban areas in the plains of immense river water is difficult to overcome. His feet walked the roads that at that time must have been very narrow, rocky, cloudy, and muddy. The Indian continent in the past, the nature was very harsh, the dry season was hot and dry with temperatures up to 40 degrees Celsius, the rainy season was constantly flooding, in winter the cold air blew from the north. keen.

Travel is very difficult, from village to village, from town to town is very far apart. Therefore, The Ton has a leisurely posture, so it sometimes takes months to arrive. Roads are dangerous, full of bushes, insects and animals are always lurking. On the way of teaching birth, every night The Ton still rested at simple places, thatched tents with grass roof, tree stumps, and rock caves. He lived only in leaf-roof nunnery at the edges of the forest during the retreat season.

Every morning, the Buddha himself did the alms of alms housework from house to house with his father and a bowl. whatever you eat On the road propagating the thousands of miles away, such difficulties, hardships, and dangers, the guru and his disciples are not always welcome. lice let go of insults. With infinite compassion, compassion for benefit, for the happiness and well-being of gods and humans, The Blessed One has skillfully used so many means, so many efforts, for 45 years. , only for the sole purpose is to help all sentient beings, of all classes, all sectors, in all species, from suffering, from the sorrow and grief.

On the occasion of the self-sacrificing day, which is the day of criticism and confession of the monks after 3 months of retreat, even though we are lay people, on this precious occasion, we must also sincerely look back, looking back over time. Do we live according to the Buddha's teachings yet, what has been done, what has not been done, and where? For what reason? To then sincerely repent and make more effort than half!

In order to have more reference conditions in checking whether our lifestyle is right today with the Dharma, we would like to take a brief comparison test on some areas of their daily life. I am now with the life of the Monks in the World Religion period in existence.

Through the above summary comparison table, we find that today's cultivation has many advantages over the past, and the conditions and means for cultivation are richer and more diverse than ever.

In the past, during the time of the Buddha, there were many monks, Male-stilts-Ni attained A-La-Han, they belonged to many groups, with the lowest rank in society at that time.

Due to being bound by the secular life, the lay people have many difficulties in the path of study, yet there are still many A-La-Han masters. Tang Chi Bo Kinh recorded, up to 21 homeowners became A-La-Han but never ordained as a monk.

Up to now, there have been no reliable research and statistics on the enlightened monks and laypeople over the past centuries, the scriptures have not recorded many A-La- Han. So these cases are probably very few.

“The White World, due to what causes, what conditions, in the past, the precepts were less, but the Bhikkhus-Bhikkhu understood more knowledge. Bach The Ton, due to what causes, what conditions, today more the world, but the Bhikkhu-stilts experience less knowledge entry "[Kinh Trung Bo]]

III. ANSWER AND ORDERED DATE, JULY SEVEN

Tu Tu Day is a day of rejoicing the Buddha, made by the Buddha rejoice, when seeing his disciples, the monks, after 3 months of peace, body and mind are purified.

We are laymen and also disciples of the Buddha, the Buddha will be more happy to see that we are purified and at peace. As parents are always happy, motivating and rewarding more when they see that their stupid child is more busy playing with, more lazy than other children, now it changes, becomes gentle and diligent. , know how to worry.

On the full moon day of the seventh month, we put our hands together in front of the Buddha altar, look directly at the Buddha and think of the merits of people, think of the immense compassion for sentient beings, think of him as the Supreme Being in the six realms, the supreme Noble, the most respected One, is the Buddha, the Enlightened One with great wisdom.

Yet, because of his love for us, the Buddha did not manage so much effort, so much hardship, over thousands of miles of road, far away and dangerous, to depend on each individual's identity, even if he was an ordinary person. moreover, but wholeheartedly teaches us how to get out of the pool of sadness that we are engrossed in.

Then we think again, even though now we have too many conditions, too many means, enough favorable conditions to practice, but why have we still not done anything to repay love, sacrifice? boundless Buddha? Not only that, our soul now has too much defilement, too much defilement, too much evil, lust, anger, jealousy, jealousy, selfishness, pettyness, lowliness. I have done the wrong things, I have grieved many people. I am a spoiled child, I do not deserve to be a disciple of the Buddha, I did not say what I promised at the time of taking refuge. Thinking about this, suddenly my tears flowed, I was so ashamed, I was too embarrassed. Please forgive me, forgive me, from now on I would like to repent, from now on I would like to renew myself, the karma that I have caused, I pray to accept with peace of mind. From now on, I vow to strive to fight with greed, ignorance that exists in me, even though my body is broken, in extreme pain I still persevere, endeavor, diligence, diligence, memorization and obedience. Patriarch's teachings, strictly observing the precepts that you have taken in taking refuge, always guarding the six sense doors, always doing virtuous actions of body, speech and mind. I am aware that my mind is pure and peaceful, I can bring purity and happiness to others, to parents, brothers and sisters, relatives, friends, acquaintances. and people you don't know. always do the virtuous actions of body, speech and mind. I am aware that my mind is pure and peaceful, I can bring purity and happiness to others, to parents, brothers and sisters, relatives, friends, and acquaintances. and people you don't know. always do the virtuous actions of body, speech and mind. I am aware that my mind is pure and peaceful, I can bring purity and happiness to others, to parents, brothers and sisters, relatives, friends, acquaintances. and people you don't know.

After confessing to the Buddha, I repent with my parents. If my parents have passed away, I stand with my hands in front of the altar and review the things I have done, are worthy of being Buddhists, are they worthy of a filial son, and then I promise them. , I will try my best to cultivate, to become useful people for the family, for the society.

If my parents still have money, then I will go to her and choose my words, choose my words according to my sincere thoughts, as I have confessed.

When we have confessed, made a vow, in us will arise a fragile will to rise higher than half, closer to holiness. Now that our soul is pure and peaceful, the Buddha and my parents will be very happy, because they always love me, always forgive my mistakes, always want us to return within the circle. their dear hands, return to the Dharma.

Although our life now has too many conveniences, but it is okay, because all conditioned dharma are only means, the end is peace in the present and in the long term, but only happiness.  renunciation, renunciation, lack of education will bring true happiness and happiness.

IV. THE KING LANE CONTACTS THE PRAYER, THE PRAYER SUTRAS

The Yulanpen Sutra records the Buddha's teachings on the duties of children to their present or deceased parents, love for those in misery and how to perform such feelings and duties. ; On the occasion of the inquiry of Duc Muc Kien Lien.

The sutta is short, but its meaning is both high and practical, satisfying the filial compassion of everyone who wishes to repay his birth, and help parents, relatives and others who are suffering. misery.

Although the Vu Lan Sutra belongs to the Mahayana, it still has the Primordial spirit inside. So it is very interesting to learn the Yulan Sutras in connection with the Little Lion Sutras, Wishes, in the Primitive Sutras. We take the liberty of having the following crude understanding:

GENERAL CONTENT OF THE LANES

The contents of the Lan Sutras include 3 parts:

Chalk 1:   The cause of the Buddha's sutra

Duc Muc Kien Lien, with his filial piety for a long time, now on the occasion of attaining six miracles, he wants to use that spell to find out where his deceased mother is now to repay the grace of birth.

He used the natural grace to look across the six realms, then knew that his mother was in the vampire realm, starved to bare bones, extremely miserable. Seeing that, Duc Muc Kien Lien immediately brought rice to his mother to eat

With rice, the mother hurriedly covered her left hand with her right hand and ate it. But sadly, the rice ball that had not reached the mouth turned into a lump of charcoal, so it was impossible to eat it, just like that again, the situation was very pitiful.

Duc Muc Lien could not help his mother, was very compassionate, immediately returned to the Buddha with such incident to ask the Blessed One to help him.

Part 2:   The Ton taught Duc Muc Kien Lien how to save his mother from tragedy

The Religion explained: because his mother's identity (greed and ignorance) was too heavy, so he was not alone and could not be saved, but even the priests, the angels, the gods, the god fund. , even the Four Heavenly Kings cannot do anything

The only solution is to use the power of the monks in the ten directions to hope for salvation. (But the monks in the four corners of the world are many, so they know who to request and who knows where to request).

Thế Tôn Explains: On the occasion of the fourth day on the full moon of July, the holy sages and monks, who were enlightened from the Tu da complete to the Bodhisattva, gathered to receive the self-giving ceremony. All of these are highly virtuous, full of intellectual precepts, creating pure dharma precepts.

On this occasion, if anyone makes an offering to these monks, with full offerings (sincerity), please pray that their parents or relatives have passed away, or those who do not know are in the circle of tribulation. , then they are freed from misery in the three realms. Parents who are still alive can live a long life, even parents in seven generations are born into the heavenly world

Duc Muc Kien Lien obeyed the teachings, so his mother was freed from the misery of her life.

Part 3:  The Religion teaches, if you are a disciple of Tathagata, you must practice the word Hieu.

- The              duty of a child, moreover being a Buddhist, must be filial, repay the merits of birth and nurture of both present parents and parents in the past seven generations.

To practice the word Hieu, one must be sincere, regularly remember your past and present parents, secondly, make offerings to them on the fourth and full moon day of July every year to pay attention to your parents.

DISCUSSION:

The content of the Vu Lan Sutra has a few points to note:

1 / It is relatively easy to save people who are living longevity in suffering, increase life expectancy for the living. Just offering enough items to the monks, so that they can pray for the person in need, that person will be free of misery, or increase their life expectancy.

2 / The number of temples, increasing them is limited, the filial demand of the children is very great, the offerings to increase them only take place on the fourth day. Therefore, the implementation of filial piety according to Vu Lan ceremony will be limited.

3 / The monks who perform the Vu Lan ceremony are sages, full of morality and wisdom; from the Tu da complete to the Bodhisattva, passed the ceremony of self-quartet, has pure dharma; Only have a deep will to help people in suffering.

4 / The offering items are diverse, many flavors, many types, of the best, most delicious. Therefore, it is very difficult for the poor to make enough purchases to carry out the report of filial piety according to the Vu Lan festival.

If we merely understand the Vu Lan Sutta according to the above analysis, in my opinion, it is not really understood the meaning of the Sutta.

The Vu Lan Sutra though refers to the forgiveness of power, to the great Bodhisattva, to the Cross. But in fact, it contains the meaning of self-self-awareness, self-liberation. Such comments are based on the following points:

I /  In terms of being saved :

1 / The scripture describes the pagan priests, the angels, the gods, the god fund, and the Four heavenly kings who are incapable of saving Muc Lien's mother, only the holy sages can have that ability. This paragraph can be understood as follows:

Every being creates karma and receives corresponding karmic retribution, no one can change, except that person. When that person is taught, explained, instructed to awaken, to arouse understanding in them, then they understand the problem, then they are at ease with karma, then with them the matter of karma or no, it doesn't matter anymore, so the karma life does not exist half, only exists for the body, does not exist for the mind, the mind is free from obsession, so they are peaceful, so they are liberated. get out of that karma.

But how can they be taught, explained, guided to be awakened, to arouse understanding in them?

It is due to the aspirations of the holy sages that increase based on concentration and wisdom. But why can the holy sages do it but the priests, angels, the divine funds and the Four great kings cannot do it?

Because the sages of the holy monks are disciples of the World Religion, they are the first Sa subject, the second Sa subject, the third Sa subject, the fourth Sa subject. So they simply show the awareness of all players. Other religions do not have Sa subjects first, Sa subject Monday, Sa subject Tuesday, Sa subject Wednesday. The samana and brahmin of the non-righteous non-righteous hermits show awareness of all players, so they have no fidelity to the master, complete dharma, no complete precepts, no love. completely:

“. Monks and monks, in such a law, if there is pure faith in the Master, that pure credit is considered incomplete; if there is pure faith in the Dharma, it is considered incomplete; if there is an accomplishment that satisfies the Precepts, that achievement is considered incomplete; If there is love for the dharma friends, that love is considered incomplete "

                                                                                                     [Little Lion Lesson]

May the pure power of the holy sages and monks and disciples of the Blessed One derive from samadhi, the wisdom power acquired by the complete purity of belief in the Master, to the Dharma; due to the complete fulfillment of the precepts; out of compassion, utter love and unconditional love for others. May that force be of great power, miraculously capable, awaken kindness in the mother of Venerable Muc Lien Lien, and build up the strength within herself to confess herself, to purify her body and speech by herself. mind, leading to the separation of greed, detachment (Due to being too greedy, self-interested, afraid to share rice with others, should cover it with the left hand). Because of the tranquility of her inner mind, wisdom arises, in her knowledge arises, she understands the problem and relaxes her life with karma. Therefore, although his mother Muc Kien Lien is receiving the vampire karma, her mind is calm, free, and not dominated by karma.

2 / As noted above, the practice of filial piety according to Vu Lan ceremony will be limited, because the number of increase in them is not enough, to perform filial ceremony on the fourth day for many people at the same time. But if we pay attention to carefully study the scriptures, the problem will not be like that, but the idea leads to wonderful abilities, opening opportunities for filial piety, opening up a good world, in there is so much filial piety, so many sentient beings out of suffering.

“Tathagata disciples / practice from filial piety / each thought / often remembers / of present parents / to parents / past seven generations /.

The sutra is only clear, if we want to practice the word filial piety, we must always remember our parents in every thought. This means that we must remember our parents in mindfulness, in mindfulness, if we want to always have mindful awareness, our mind must be calm, free of misconceptions, misconceptions, delusions, crazy idea, ambition, anger. if we want to do that we must practice detachment, renunciation, cup of greed, glass of evil deeds. Renounce greed, ignorance, renounce ego-clinging to ego, achieve full of precepts. When we have mindfulness, right thought, and right concentration, we will have wisdom, have strong concentration, and have the magical power to touch the objects we always love, which we always want to help. dumb, whether the person is dead or alive.

“. Until parents / past seven generations "

The meaning of true, unconditional love, equal love regardless of whether the father in this life is good or bad, loves me more or less than the father in other lives; Is compassion for all sentient beings. Even when we achieve many achievements, but when we have compassion, the greater the concentration and wisdom power, it has more ability and capacity to awaken, give rise to, and increase. One's kindness and self-enlightenment want to help.

In the Testament, the Buddha teaches us this very clearly:

"Hey, the Female-stilts, if the Female-on stilts have the wish: I hope that the relatives of the bloodline to me, when they die and the common destiny, think of me with the heart of joy, and so they get great retribution. great benefit! The female-stilts must be a complete member of the precepts, perseverance, tranquility of mind, uninterrupted meditation, accomplishing customary conduct, preferring to live in impure residences. "

                                                                                                    [Wishes]

The Prayer has opened us to the capacity for filial piety, both mysterious, practical, and of unprecedented greatness. After reading this sutta, we rejoice, we rejoice, then we change our emotions, we cry, we respect the Venerable more than ever, He loved us so much that he taught the way. This extremely precious filial piety.

For a long time, I did not know how to repay, give back, to help my deceased parents. Recalling when I was young, I did not realize what filial piety is, I was busy playing, neglected my son's duties, so that when I became an adult, I realized the noble thought of filial piety. , I have more material conditions, then my parents are no more. Whenever I hear the lyrics of the Rose in the Dress of Master Nhat Hanh, I cannot hold back my tears, now I love my parents so much, wish I had them by my side, let me say “I love parents are very sad. "I am sad, I regret, I feel sorry for being so empty. The days of death, the bigger the feast, the more sad we are in our hearts, feeling tasteless and roaring.

The Prayer has brought us great joy, hope, and confidence. Now, I can practically and concretely help repay our parents' hospitality.

Parents! Right now, at this very moment, I promise my parents, I promise the Buddha that I will always endeavor, diligently, persevere diligently to live according to the precepts; keep pure body, speech and mind; practice meditation; need to keep mindfulness, practice detachment, visual impermanence, suffering, no-self; make an effort to share and give gifts of goods, conscientiously help people; live a righteous, righteous life in every place and every time.

Parents! That way you will be close to your parents, parents will think of you with joy, with excitement, happiness, parents will be proud, happy to see you today, not only grow in life. , but also maturing in the Dharma.

Parents are happy and happy, parents will have wisdom, desire towards the Dharma, take refuge in the sleeping Three Jewels while parents are awakened and thrived. With strong faith, I believe that, because that is the rule, that is what the Buddha, our loving, revered Father and all beings, taught.

Then everyone, everyone can become a sage by themselves to perform the Vu Lan ceremony for themselves, free themselves, transform themselves into a pure spirit, and hell into a pure soul. peaceful. Since then, performing Vu Lan ceremony for his parents and for others.

And thus our society will have more filial children, more pure-born super-born mothers, and many more virtuous people who are useful for life.

II /  In terms of vehicles:

1 / The Buddha on the occasion of Muc Lien Lien asked, but only taught the disciples about the word Hieu and how to practice the word Hieu, but also thereby contained an encouragement to the disciple to endeavor to practice and attain virtuous conduct. , increase concentration, increase wisdom and develop loving kindness and compassion, towards the goal of self-awareness.

    2 / The passage:

“The Buddha taught / Dai Muc Lien Lien / His mother-in-law / the sinful roots / sin / sins are too deep / not capable / alone / able to rescue. . "

This passage is extremely important , indicating whether the ability to save suffering is possible or not, how effective it is, not only depends on the quality and aspirations of the savior, but also depends on the quality of the person. be saved.

The understanding, self-liberation will of each person depends on the identity of that person, which is formed in the process of training, practicing, accumulating activities of body, speech, and mind in the past. When we are alive, we have the nature and quality as we are, then it will be the same when we go to other realms.

Therefore, the stage of living on earth is very important, besides accumulating material things (if really necessary), we need to work hard to accumulate for ourselves mental capital, ability to do good, to let go. evil. Because when we go to evil, it is very difficult for us to do it; Because in misery, we must always deal with, always endure suffering, torture, there is no time left, there is no more alertness to distinguish things than right.

Therefore, being a filial son, when taking care of his parents while he is still alive, offering his mother a favor, a strange food, comfortable comfort, sufficient money is a good thing, but still must pay attention to his tendency. their xinxing orientation, whether such service arouses, develops greed and ignorance, increases their self-grasping, sexual ego.

Love your parents, so that they can enjoy happiness, not only in the present but also in the long-term future. The happiness is no longer or very little, or at least it lessens the presence of sorrow and grief beside it. What kind of happiness, I am trying hard towards, I send to find a way to make my parents like that.

3 / The full preparation of items with many delicious and delicious categories, the desire to emphasize  the determination  to show filial piety,  the sincerity  always wants to repay the grace of parents, helping people to get rid of suffering.

CONCLUSION:

Although the Vu Lan Sutra belongs to the Mahayana, but it contains the original meaning, in which the meaning of self-reliance and self-reliance intertwined has a mutual effect, the same cause and effect of each other. Accordingly, in order to carry out the reporting of filial piety, fullness, practical effect, right to the Dharma, the following elements are present:

     1 / The person who wants to save suffering must be self-reliant, make every effort to cultivate and cultivate to reach the heights of the Holy Way, to have the good qualities of Buddhists;

2 / The above good qualities, have the miraculous power to create conditions, sow to people who are suffering (sowing the cause of the Dharma conditions)

3 / The person who is experiencing suffering through touch and support, thanks to the impact of that Dhamma, the ability, the ability to rise up, self-liberation is awakened, so that he or she becomes self-enlightened and comes out of suffering. .

4 / How the ability, the ability to self-rise, self-awareness, and free from suffering of a miserable person, depends on the quality of the vow and the nature of the suffering person.

5 / Therefore, the cultivation of the person who wants to save suffering and the way of life (good or unwholesome) of the person who was saved on earth are very important.

The process of  self-awareness and self-liberation   is an uninterrupted process, aiming at compassionate compassion and salvation, not only for your parents but also towards all kinds of sentient beings and all. even those who are immersed in a sea of suffering, like the kindness of the great poet Nguyen Du.

Moreover, for the Great Vu Lan Festival on the occasion of the fourth anniversary, the full moon day of the seventh month will be fruitful in every family, in each of our hearts; Vu Lan should be performed every month, or every week, or every day, every minute of our life. By doing this, our souls will be the pure land, our family will be the pure land, our society and our world will be the pure land.

Besides, from the love, sharing, and support to help the unfortunate, the poor and needy, the concrete suffering mentally and physically, whether more or less whenever the opportunity is given, they are We have contributed to building a world of happiness, peace, peace, in which our parents and everyone live together. END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.29/8/2020.
