The Buddha taught the method of mastering the disease.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.
In many sutras we also often see images of the Buddha suffering from illness and life sickness. That's right, there is a body, there must be a disease. So where does the disease come from? The Buddha taught that illness was also borne by causality, due to the karma of action. After reading through the Sutra Sutra, we will see a very specific and vivid depiction of an incident that happened when The Sun's leg was stabbed into the leg.
It is a very ordinary, very ordinary, very simple incident of the Buddha during the times when he was attacked by the evil obstacles of the causal environment on impermanent bodies.
The times when the Buddha suffered from these feelings on this ephemeral four-body, the mind of The Sun did not show a hint of fear or worry at all.
The times when the Buddha suffered from these feelings on this ephemeral four-body, the mind of The Sun did not show a hint of fear or worry at all.
On the body, the extremely painful feelings that are raging are constantly present on Buddha's body, but on the mind, The Religion points towards that righteous mindfulness. Let us see how the Buddha's method of mastering overcomes the feelings of the disease. Feelings of suffering, pain, aching, fierce, not interested, not interested. But The Respectful mindfulness awareness, tolerance, no afflictions ".
The method by which the Buddha mastered the disease, overcome that disease, was that Buddha only used Mindfulness of Mindfulness. On this body, no matter how severe the pain is, he still does not feel frightened, still does not feel anxious, still is not indifferent, is still not indifferent by the feelings and feelings of intense pain existing in His body.
The life of the Buddha is very normal. Every day, the Buddha still lives a pure and pure life. Living with three monks a day, eating one meal a day, not storing money, the Buddha was a monk, so there was no place for a temple, a monastery, to make him stay long, he often traveled up and down. from one place to another to bring the teachings of enlightenment to the truth of suffering to all beings with the right conditions to receive the dharma.
Thereby we also clearly see the daily life of Buddha very simple and normal. Every morning the Buddha went to the village to beg for food, and when he finished eating, he went to wash the bowl, then he went on a business trip to relax and relax to let his body think.
At the beginning of the afternoon, evening, night. He often teaches the sermon on the middle doctrine as the doctrine of cause and effect, the doctrine of non-selflessness, the Four Noble Truths, the ten factors of the conditions, the Eight Noble Paths, the five senses, the five forces, the four principles of need. Suffering, satipa xứ xứhāna and seven Bodhi parts. He said the dharma teaches lay disciples, lay people or sermons to those (pagan leaders) who want to listen to the dharma or question, even if someone wants to come and ask the dharma He still preached. The Buddha said the dharma that he had practiced, realized the good, good and good from the present, fully expressing the clear and coherent meaning and stating that the virtue is pure and pure.
There is a very simple image that we feel that the Buddha is a very close, and real, person. Every time he is sick, he spreads his auspicious mind with the mind always mindful of the awareness "Then The Sun gives Sanghàti (Sangha) shirt to the back, lies down on the right side of the hips like a figure the lion, the leg on the foot, mindfulness awareness ".
The Buddha lies on his right side with a lion-like posture, with the mind always mindful of awareness. Even if it is painful, the whole body does not feel comfortable, no peace at all, but the Buddha still lays an auspiciousness, not lying on his back, lying in a tummy-like manner. The auspicious posture is one of the righteous dignities of a monk, a posture of auspicious is a very discreet, beautiful style, and suitable for a monk who liberates his life, this form of speaking speaks be a person who has left, let go of the desire of the world.

"Fun for us to live,
Not sick, between sickness!
Between the sick,
I live, not sick. "
It is a bright and optimistic spirit of the Buddha. When he was sick, but he did not feel troublesome, he was not angry and angry with illness and feeling. So He never feared disease. He understood the nature of impermanence, the dissolution of the dhammas, what is it that He is sorrowful and afflicted with illness? It is He who understands the nature of passing away "The conditions of self-arising, the self-arising and the karma". But the "cause and effect of the dharma is impermanent", illness is also one of the impermanent, arising and passing away. If the conditions are good enough, the disease will come and if it does, it will go away. Because of understanding the nature of impermanence, dissolution, birth and death like that, the mind of Buddha is not feeling the importance of the disease, influences the sadness, misery, troublesome. When the Buddha saw the ordinary beings being sick,
Every time sentient beings are sick, the mind is afraid, worried, painful, melancholy, he feels compassion for them. So, for ordinary people whenever illnesses, accidents, or risky things come to life, both body and mind are sick, suffering; for the Buddha and the saints, the body is ill but the mind is not sick, the heart is not suffering. Because of wisdom, the Buddha is also known as liberating knowledge, so they always live in the state of liberation, that is Nirvana state.
Let us listen to a Thien who speaks an inspiring praise in front of the Blessed One: "Look at his mind and practice meditation and liberation, not emerge, not sink, all actions work, no one stimulates ”.
Indeed, the Buddha himself skillfully learned through the practice of meditation, which he understood the true source of truth: the truth of suffering, the truth of the cause of suffering, the truth of the state of killing and the truth. about the Path leading to the Cessation of Suffering. When the mind of the Buddha understands the truth about the state of cessation of suffering, his mind is liberated, attaining liberated mind and mind, so that he can truly understand and understand the truth of suffering and suffering. about the truth The cause of suffering.
It is through His mind that he knows as the cause of the feelings that affect this body because of where he was born? Should the mind of them towards liberation of Realness and the mind of Him towards liberation Unscathed without having to groan, we murmur, blame when the feelings on the body and disease raging so severe.
Ordinary people do not understand the cause of these feelings. So they often blame, complain of blame, and then appoint that they are unlucky, punished by heaven and earth, gods or some supreme being. Because people understand a fate, people do not understand the original truth of Suffering and the original cause of the Truth of Suffering, so people suffer constantly and forever. If we understand it as true, then there will be no action to torment us, torment and torment all beings at all.
That's why the Buddha taught disciples and all beings must always live awake. The awakening here is only for three actions: Our body, speech and Italy must always be wise, alert, not bewitched, so that whenever we act or do something, one what behavior, action must be awake, clear. Awakening to always live with a sense of goodness, a sense of well-being, living with consciousness does not hurt you, does not hurt others and does not hurt all beings.
This love will no longer be limited by space, time or by any kind of being ... this love is bigger than the sea and is higher than the mountain.
We see that every time we are feeling sick, we are seriously ill, people think that due to lack of quality food, inadequate nutrition, our body is sick. The Buddha taught that there is nothing natural but that it comes at random, what when it exists, it also has its cause. So every time we get seriously ill, depending on the level we sow different kindness ...
The incident happened to the Buddha was hit by the stone pieces into the leg is also a normal occurrence due to the karmic cause and effect in the past, when full of conditions, this karmic cause and effect comes, multiply. The fruit came so the Buddha was hit by a piece of stone in the leg, causing The Sun's leg to be injured. For daily life, we should not mistake that when they have attained the Buddha's fruit, Saint Alahan, they will no longer have evil attacks, no longer be affected by cause and effect.
The fact that cause and effect still comes to Him but his mind is completely unaffected by the influence, enslaved by it. So the Buddha still lived in life, in cause and effect but not cause and effect, not being affected by this life. Therefore, the Buddha and the Saints Alahan are the owners of the cause and effect of cause and effect. Just like a lotus, though it lives in the mud, it is not muddy, causing the lotus to pollute, but the lotus is still fragrant and completely pure and clean.
In life, if we multiply accidentally, we will reap fruits accidentally, if we multiply intentionally, we will reap intentionally. So what is the accidental personality? Human beings are unknowingly human beings without malice, there is no unwholesome intrusion, such as deliberately beating, killing, causing sentient beings to suffer.
For example, every day the Buddha went on a trip, begging for alms, there was a lot of time when the Buddha accidentally did not see the small beings like ants, worms, bugs, insects ... so the Buddha was unknowingly (too beings small unseen) trampling on these sentient beings caused them to suffer pain on their bodies or Buddha accidentally stepped on these sentient beings to cause them to die. That person is an unintentional human being, the Buddha was accidentally stabbed into the leg by the stone, which caused his aches and pains. So the cause and effect are so fair, even if I hide to heaven, hide under the sea, crawl into a deep cave, hide on the mountain, the cause and effect still cannot escape.
"Not in the sky, in the middle of the sea,
Do not go into the mountain,
No place in the world,
Hide the evil karma. "
When forming this body, the ordinary person or saint is subject to the general rule, that is the law of impermanence, old age, sickness, death is a law of ordinary nature. Even if it is the Buddha must also suffer from this law of impermanence. Often when people are old, sick, sick, they are worried and frightened. What made that fear and worry every time we got sick? It is the mind of attachment to self, this self, the mistake on this impermanent, impure body, it always conserves and preserves this great body every day, it is afraid of this body. dying, it goes on wanting this body to live forever, it wishes that this body should not be born, old, sick, or dead. But that desire is the desire of ignorance, wrong view, wrong thinking.
This Buddha who teaches this body is not me, is mine, is our ego, then we should not accept, preserve, take care and protect it. Let us live like the spirit that the Buddha taught to understand its truth, when we have understood and received the truth of the dharma, we will no longer be afraid or worried. Every time a disease or feeling affects or there is a risk of accidents happening in life. Let us apply the method and the way to overcome suffering on the body that the Buddha taught so that this body and mind are always peaceful and peaceful.
The Fragment Stone
Like this I hear. One time The Blessed One stayed at Rājagaha (Vuong Xa), in Nai garden (Maddakucchi)
At that time, The Sun's leg was hit by a piece of stone. Feelings of world Religion intense. Feelings of suffering, pain, aching, fierce, not interested, not interested. But World Religion mindfulness awareness, tolerance, no afflictions.
Then The Sun spread Sanghàti (Sangha) shirt, folded it, lay down on the right side like the posture of a lion, legs on the feet, mindfulness awareness.
Then seven hundred Satullapakayas, and after the night was near, with the brilliant light of the Maddakucchi region, went to The Blessed One; after coming, the ceremony of the ceremony of the Blessed One and standing on one side.
Standing on one side, a Thien read this inspiration in front of the Blessed One:
—Sa-keeper Gotama is really Long statue. And as Long statue, He endured his body up, suffering, throbbing pain, aching, fierce, uninterested, uninterested, He was mindful of awareness, endured, without defilements.
Then another God spoke this inspiration in front of the Blessed One:
—Sa-keeper Gotama is really a Lion. And as a Lion, He suffered from the life of arising, suffering ... no afflictions.
Then another God spoke this inspiration in front of the Blessed One:
—Sa-keeper Gotama is really Luong. And as a salary code, He suffered from life-long life, suffering ... no afflictions.
Then another God spoke this inspiration in front of the Blessed One:
—Sa-monk Gotama is really the U-king. And as the Niu king, he suffered from life-long life, suffering ... no afflictions.
Then another God spoke this inspiration in front of the Blessed One:
—Sa-keeper Gotama is really a Resilience. And as the Patience of Perseverance, He endured his life up, suffering ... no afflictions.
Then another God spoke this inspiration in front of the Blessed One:
—Sa-keeper Gotama is really a Wanderer. And as a subservient to subdue, He suffered from life-long life, suffering ... no afflictions.
Then another God spoke this inspiration in front of the Blessed One:
—Let's see his mind skillfully practicing meditation and liberation, not emerging, not sinking, all actions are taken, no one stimulates. Who would have thought he was going against such a Long statue, a Lion like that, a rank of such a master's salary, such a rank of Nguu Vuong, a patriarch of such perseverance, an attendant like So, unless a blind man.
Brahmin taste
Masters of the year of the Vajrayana,
Oil of ascetic practice,
For hundreds of years,
Their minds cannot,
The Chief Justice is freed.
Self-nature is too low,
Not to the other shore,
Being dominated by passion,
Being bound by bans,
Oil of ascetic practice,
For hundreds of years,
Their minds cannot,
The Chief Justice is freed.
Self-nature is too low,
Not to the other side.
In life, there is no costume,
Pride with sex,
The mind is not calm,
Do not practice meditation.
In the lonely forest,
But the mind wanders,
He is hard to overcome,
The conquest of death.
The dress is arrogant,
Kheo practice meditation,
Mind of peace, peace,
Liberation is fulfilled,
In the lonely forest,
The mind is not free,
He tastes well beyond,
