Legend has it that, when  Shakyamuni Buddha was born , at that time he was the prince of Siddhartha of Co Dam in ancient India. The prince's father at this time was the father of Tinh Phan and held a naming ceremony for the prince and invited the monks to attend. Among them was a young Brahman named Kieu Tran Nhu. When watching the Prince's face he was deeply shaken by his unspeakable appearance, so he insisted that, after that, the prince will definitely attain the righteous mind, this story has been saved into stories and recorded into the books.
Later, upon hearing that Prince Tu Dat Da left the palace and entered the monastic forest, Kieu Tran Nhu led four other close Taoists to find the crown prince. They met and became fellow cultivators.
At that time, in the history of cultivation of the disciplines in India believed that only ascetic practice could become Tao, attain enlightenment and fullness. But after so many years of hardship, both Prince Siddhartha and other monks became exhausted, their bodies were nearly worn out and still could not reach enlightenment. At this time, Crown Prince Siddhartha realized that this was not a true path to obtaining the Dao, so he gave up the ascetic practice to meditate.
When the monk Kieu Tran Nhu saw Prince Siddhartha start to eat normally again, he was extremely disappointed and proved to have no faith in the Buddha so he left with 4 close friends. set by me.
Why didn't the first disciples welcome Shakyamuni Buddha?
Buddha was enlightened under the Bodhi.
After Prince Siddhartha was enlightened under the Bodhi Tree and became a Buddha, he knew that five of his fellow practitioners who previously had to practice asceticism at Deer Park, they were also waiting to obtain Buddha. France. Therefore, the Buddha came to Deer Park to save them.
Five monks saw the figure of Shakyamuni Buddha looming from afar, they negotiated with each other: "He gave up his misery, became a greedy man. When he comes, we will not talk to him, nor will he show reverence, nor receive his bowls and robes.
We only cover a cushion here to prepare, if he wants to sit, sit, not sit, let him stand, no one will be welcomed by the person who has lost his will to practice! ”.
But when the Buddha approached, there was some kind of compassionate and loving energy that touched all five monks. They could not contain the utmost joy in their hearts, unknowingly forgetting everything they had discussed.
Some people rushed to go to the ceremony, respectfully accepted the robes and bowls from the Buddha's hand, someone quickly ran away to spread the cushion, someone rushed to go to get water to invite the Buddha ...
Then the Buddha preached the Dharma to them and all five monks became the first disciples of Shakyamuni, including: Kieu Tran Nhu, Bat De, Ba Su Ba, Ma Ha Nam, and A Theory Thi. Since then, they abandoned the ascetic practice, diligently following the Dharma practice, after which all in turn attained the Arhat.
During the 49 years of Dharma transmission, Shakyamuni's life went everywhere to preach and educate sentient beings. His disciples were all of the nobles, including powerful monarchs like King Qin-ma-sa-la and the king of Vi-ma-ma-da-da, King of Persia. -or and the king of Mạt-Lợi of Kiều-slat-la ... END=NAM MO SAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.12/3/2019.
