How did the Buddha experience countless Bodhisattva lives under his predecessor, Lohita?VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.
Before the ultimate enlightenment under the Bodhi tree, the Buddha went through countless lives of Bodhisattva. One of the precursors of Bodhisattva was to make Lohita (his cow) cow living with his family to raise a Munika pig.
Before the ultimate enlightenment under the Bodhi tree, the Buddha went through countless lives of Bodhisattva. One of the precursors of the Bodhisattva was to make Lohita (2 brothers) cows living with their families to raise a Munika pig.
Heo Munika didn't do anything but was happy to eat. On the contrary, the two brothers of Lohita bulls worked hard all day and could only chew on the grass. The cow I feel compared to my pig is extremely unhappy.
His cow (Bodhisattva) clearly saw the fact that the other pig was "eaten to wait for death", so he advised the cow to be patient, to bear the extreme and to keep his life. Everything has its price, not suddenly, but the donor is wearing plain.
The story states: “In the old days, when King Brahmadatta ruled in Baal-la, in a certain village, Bodhisattva gave birth to a cow named Mahàlohita (Red him) in the home of a man who had a fortune. Bodhisattva has a younger brother named Cullalohita (Red em). In the family, these two cows do all the transportation.
The family has a daughter. She was engaged to the son of the village. In order to serve the delicious food to the guests of her daughter's wedding, the parents of the girl adopted a pig named Munika, and gave her a meal of rice porridge. Seeing that, Lohita cow said to his cow:
- In this family, the heavy things are carried by both brothers and sisters, but they show us to eat grass and leaves ... and they raise pigs with porridge and rice. For what reason is it so?

The pig Munika and the Lohita bulls in this sutta became the object of meditation on the early and fast-death phenomena not rare in our society today.
Bodhisattva says:
- Hey Lohita, dear, don't be hungry for food! This pig eats delicious food to die. For the purpose of preparing delicious dishes for guests to attend the wedding day of the girl, they have just raised this pig. A few more days, those people will come, they tie the pig's leg, pull it out of the stable, end its life and will make a curry meal for guests!
After saying that, Bodhisattva read this shelf:
Do not ham Mu-ni-ka
It eats to wait for death
Less sex, eat straw
Therefore long life .
Soon, those people arrived. They killed Munika and cooked it into many dishes. Bodhisattva said to cow Lohita:
- Hey, dear, see Munika!
- Sir, I saw the result of Munika's dish. Hundred times a thousand times better than that dish is our straw grass, the ultimate dish, no harm, is the general of long life.
The story of Munika pig creating many emotions makes us ponder. Heo Munika was well fed by the owner to sleep well, fattening for the purpose of killing the meat for his daughter's wedding.
The Lohita brothers are then plowed by the owner to plow, enrich the owner. The fat pig is immediately killed. But cows are hungry and still have the whole life. Then who is blessed, who is happier?

The cause and effect are always clear, no one gives me anything ...
Reflecting on this, he saw the wisdom of Lohita (Bodhisattva) cow, advised him to be polite and rational. Despite eating straw, plowing and pulling, it is better to preserve life. Unlike the other Munika pig, eating well to lead to death.
So, this Munika pig in this sutta became the object of meditation on the early and fast-death phenomena that are not rare in our society today.
The cause and effect are always clear, no one gives us anything. It's easy for you to be successful and get rich quickly. Maybe you are being fattened by the owner to do a scapegoat or make a feast without it.
Be calm and consider life. Do not get rich at all costs, despite all. Stop or be less jealous of people who don't do it and eat. Don't be like that Munika pig, until he got caught and dragged to slaughter to realize the truth, it was too late.
