It is volition that creates karma. Once we agree that: "I have to be careful about my actions", then there is the question: "What actions will have consequences". There are three kinds of actions: bodily, verbal, and mental actions. A general, common understanding holds that bodily actions are important, speech acts less important, and mind actions unimportant. That is very short-sighted. But when one has begun to observe the inner truth, as he has done and become enlightened, it becomes clear that the action of the mind is of the utmost importance, neither of the speech nor of the body. The actions of the body and the mind both have an effect, but the most important is the action of the mind and the mind. Things arise from the mind and they increase in intensity, and then the actions of the mind become words. As words increase in intensity, it becomes the action of the body. The actions of speech and body are nothing but the manifestation of the mind. They are only a measure of the intensity of the mind, so the mind is the most important. As an example, I met someone with whom I had a conflict. I see him, my mind starts to work, full of anger. A bad idea in the head arises, then becomes stronger and it manifests itself in words: "I cursed him, insulted him", resulting in unwholesome words. Then increase the intensity even more and so on, it spawns the action of the body: “I slap his hand, if I have a gun I will shoot him dead too”. It is an unwholesome act. So what are the unwholesome actions of speech and body? They are just actions of the mind, a measure of the intensity of the unwholesome mind. Just like unwholesome actions, so are good deeds. I meet someone unhappy, suffering, my heart began to pity. As compassion becomes more, this wholesome mind manifests in verbal actions: "I say a few words, words that are kind, affectionate, and merciful." And then the good deed of speech increases in intensity, increases further, and it turns into physical action: “I really help that person. I gave him something." A good deed by deed. Actions of the mind are most important Whether wholesome or unwholesome, all actions of speech and of body are manifestations of the mind. This is the realization and enlightenment of the Enlightened One: “Mind is most important. Everything begins in the mind. Everything is created by the mind. Mind precedes all actions.” His Holiness described his own experience when he said, “Mind leads all things. Mind mastering, mind creating. Therefore, the mind is the most important, the most influential. Whatever we experience in life is nothing but the product of our own mind. If, on the basis of an unwholesome, impure, or bad mind, we act in deeds or words, suffering will follow us like a wheel behind a drawn animal. Wherever the car and the animal go, the wheels always follow. Because we were fundamentally wrong, suffering still follows us. Likewise, If, with the basis of pure mind, holy Zen, we act in deeds or words, then all happiness will follow us like a shadow to a figure. Wherever we go, wherever we go, the ball will follow and stay there. This is the law of nature.” The foundation of the mind is the most important. That is where our actions form first, at the level of the mind, then at the level of words, and finally at the level of deeds. The results we get, The result we reap is the result of the action of the mind, the mind, not the action of the speech or the body. For example, I see someone I've had contact with. I got angry, I yelled, then I insulted and insulted: "Dog, pig, donkey ...". In this case, “Dog, pig, donkey…” I mean to insult the person. In another case, when I saw my nephew running after him playing in the dirt, soiling his clothes, I said: "Dog, pig, donkey...". The same words, I have used them with the same act of speech, but from the perspective of the mind the two intentions are one heaven and one different. When I use these words towards the enemy, it is full of malice. When I also use these languages for my grandchildren it is full of goodwill. Nature focuses on the mind, not deeds or words. The result that we receive, the fruit that we reap depends on the mind, not on the words or actions of the body. Another example, a rich man had a lot of money and jewels, etc., and was walking alone through the forest. There is a thief going in the opposite direction, knowing this man has a lot of money and he wants to rob. This rich man didn't want to lose money and said, "No". The robber got angry, pulled out a knife and stabbed the man in the stomach and as a result, he died. In another case, there was a person who had a stomach ulcer and was in great pain. Doctors treat it in many ways but no relief. Finally, the Surgeon said, “Wow! So, I have to surgically cut the ulcer, maybe the pain will go away." Then the person was taken to the operating room, the surgeon took out the knife, poked the patient's stomach, unfortunately, this time the patient died. The Doctor and the robber do the same action on the physical level. Both used knives to stab the same person in the stomach and as a result, that person died. Now, to nature or to God almighty both receive the same result? Oh no! The intention of the mind is really important. The robber's intentions were full of malice, but the Doctor's intentions were full of goodwill. Nature only focuses on the motivation of the mind, the intention of the mind and the result of the action are consistent with that intention, not wrong. What is the basic foundation of the mind? The foundation of the mind is more important. The intention of the mind is more important than the actions of the body and words. Therefore, let us be very careful with our mind and intention. Therefore, we must understand what is mind? How does the mind work? Vipassana meditation will help us. Understand that the whole method is to divide, dissect, disperse, disintegrate this whole body structure. You don't have to do anything but just observe. Nature will begin to divide, dissect, disperse.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST DHARMA-EYE TEMPLE.GOLDEN ZEN BUDDHIST MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.27/6/2023.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.
