Realm, Sentient Beings, LIFE AND HEART OF BEINGS. AND THE MIND OF INTELLIGENT BEINGS During this life, the Buddha did not advocate discussing issues of metaphysics, ontology or cosmology and supernormality. With the Tathagata's omniscient knowledge (Sabbannutanana), with the divine power of the Tathagata (Tathagatabala), he clearly understood the nature of living beings, their karma and the results of their karma, and clearly saw all the worlds in the ten directions. , but he was silent before the questions of his disciples or non-Buddhists related to the above issues because they are not beneficial to the practitioner on the path to liberation. As in the Pathika, the School of Sutras, the Buddha said: “O Sunakkhatta! The beginning of the world explained or unexplained, The purpose of the Blessed One's teaching of the Dharma is to lead practitioners to the end of suffering. Hey Sunakkhatta! So, what is the use of explaining the beginning of the world?", or as in the Vinaya, the Buddha did not allow the bhikkhus to perform miracles. However, from time to time in a few cases, he has lectured on teachings related to cosmology, egoism (Sutta of Origin of Humanity, Jaliya Sutra, Sutta of Reduction, ...) and he himself has many times displaying supernatural powers (for example, when the Buddha returned to the Kapilavastu Citadel, he appeared in a double vision to transform the royal family, then he displayed miraculous powers and only took two steps to ascend to Dao Loi heaven to preach the Dharma. to his mother, or he personally performed miracles when challenged by pagans, although many of his disciples asked permission to compete, but are not allowed by the Buddha,...) the purpose is still to open the minds of sentient beings, to show sentient beings the superiority of the realms, in which only living beings have good karma and practice. morality, concentration, and wisdom are reborn in. In the Tripitaka, there are many sermons preached by the Buddha such as the Sutra on the Beginning of Humanity (the Long Boundary), the Distinctive Small Karma Sutra (the Middle School), the Outside the Wall Sutra (the Minor), the Sage and the Fool Sutra (the Middle School). Department), ... and his great disciples preached such as the Prajna Sutra (Long Bo, Mr. Sariputta), the Atthakanagara Sutra (Central Region, Mr. Ananda), the Discipline Sutra (the Department of the School, Mr. Kumara Kassapa, etc.) Madhura Sutra (Central Region, Mr. Ma Ha Ca Chien Dien), ... refers to the realm, types of beings, general practice, reincarnation ... of sentient beings. Special, The Abhidhamma (Theravada Canon) analyzes very closely the minds and realms of sentient beings. A. The world realm under the Buddha's wisdom is immeasurable, boundless and inconceivable. The Mahayana scriptures often call it the number of worlds Ganges (the number of worlds is as many as the number of sands in the Ganges). In those countless worlds, the human world we are living in is just a realm belonging to the Three Realms. The Three Realms are also within the world, not out of the world. The 31 realms of the Three Realms not only exist in this universe, but each world in countless worlds in the ten directions has 31 such realms. The 31 realms of the Three Realms from low to high are as follows: I. Desire world: 11 realms. a. Four realms of sexual suffering: 1. Hell 2. Animals 3. Preta ghosts 4. Asura. b. Seven realms of sensual pleasures: 5. Human realm 6. Troi The Four Great Heavenly Kings 7. Troi Thirty-three heavens (Triangle Dao Loi, Heaven King De Thich lives here) 8. Troi Da Ma 9. Troi Tu Sat Da 10. Troi Hoa Tu At 11. Heaven Tha Hoa Self At. II. Realm: 16 realms. a. Three realms of the first meditation: 12. Troi Pham them 13. Troi Pham sub 14. Troi Dai Pham. b. Three realms of the second meditation: 15. Troi Thieu Quang 16. Troi of Quantitative Light 17. Troi Quang Am. c. The three realms of the third meditation: 18. Heaven Thieu Tinh 19. Heaven of Quantitative Net 20. Heaven Turned Pure. d. Seven realms of the fourth meditation: 21. Troi Quang results 22. Troi No thought Five pure heaven: 23. Troi No bother 24. Troi No heat 25. Troi Thien Kien 26. Troi Thien shows 27. Troi Sac saves. III. The Formless Realm: 4 Realms. 28. Heaven is not boundless in the land of 29. Heaven is in boundless consciousness in the land of 30. Heaven is in possession of the land 31. Heaven is non-ideal, non-ideal. Of these 31 realms, only the human realm is full of joy and sorrow, happiness and suffering and have enough good conditions to cultivate wholesome roots and cultivate merit. The other realms are either too miserable (as in the four realms of suffering) but cannot practice and do merit and have no conditions to cultivate good roots, or because they are too happy (like the gods in the heavens and the transgressions. heaven) should only know how to enjoy the fruit, but forget to practice and cultivate good roots for the next life. The world is subject to impermanence, so there is no such thing as permanent. There is no eternal heaven and no eternal hell. Beings in hell are reborn in other realms when their karma is over. Sentient beings from the Desire Realm and the human realm who have exhausted their blessings and performed evil deeds also fall into the four suffering paths after death. If sentient beings in the brahma heavens run out of blessings, they will also fall to the lower realms. but they are not reborn directly from the brahma heavens to the four evil beasts, but from the brahma realm, they are reborn in the sensual realms of heaven or the human realm and from those realms, if they let go, they will fall down. four beasts. In the 31 realms, only the human and heavenly realms, the Four Heavenly Kings, have all 11 classes of beings (except for the non-human suffering realm), which means there are enough saints and mortals to reside together. In other realms, there are realms where there are 3, 8 or 9 or 10 classes of beings, and there are even realms where there is only 1 class of living beings such as the four evil beasts and the Unconscious God (see table A below). B. Sentient beings The Buddha wisdom knows the karma of living beings, the way to the realm of rebirth, and he also clearly understands where living beings go after death (Great Lion Roaring Sutra, Wise Stupid Sutra, etc.) sutras). Sentient beings in all realms (except for those in the Five Pure Lands who do not have reincarnation) keep rotating from one realm to another. Beings who do good deeds such as giving alms, making offerings, cultivating precepts, wisdom, and practicing meditation will be reborn in the good realms of heaven. Beings who do bad karma, do not practice precepts, concentration, and wisdom are reborn in the four suffering realms. Due to the difference in past karma, sentient beings receive different retribution. Some people are rich and happy, there are rich people who are full of troubles but suffer from heartache, people are poor and frugally, but they keep buying wine and bags of poetry to be friends all day long, some people can't eat all of them, some people can't get out, some people are wise. smart, intelligent, heroic, stupid and ignorant, some people are so beautiful that birds and fish dive so much that the heavens and earth are jealous who listens, … Even the celestial beings in the sky have different beauty, large and small palaces and their entourage are more or less different. All are caused by the karma of the previous life of sentient beings. The Abhidhamma Tripitaka lists 12 classes of beings as follows: a.Eight saints (All eight saints are three persons). 1.Tu Da Hoan Dao, 2. Tu Da Hoan Dao, 3. Tu Da Ham Dao, 4. Tu Da Ham Dao 5.A Na Ham Dao, 6. A Na Ham fruit 7. Arahantship and 8.A La Han results When the Mind Dao is born, it immediately dies and immediately after the fruition mind is born, so the eight classes of saints are also considered as only four: Tu Da Hoan, Tu Da Ham, A Na Ham and Arahant. b. 4 classes of ordinary people: 9. Rank of No-humans in the realm of suffering 10. Rank of No-humans of the realm of bliss 11. Rank of two people 12. Rank of three people. + The Unhuman in the suffering realm: Including beings in the miserable realms such as animals, ghosts, and beings in hell. These beings are reborn with the unwholesome fruition mind without cause. + Rank No human in the realm of bliss: Including humans and some gods in the heavens of the Four Great Heavenly Kings. Those are sentient beings with birth defects such as deaf, blind, dumb or mentally retarded. These sentient beings are reborn with a causeless wholesome fruition mind. + Second class (non-greed and non-hatred): Including humans and gods lacking wisdom. They are reborn with the Great Compassionate Mind of Dissociation. These people cannot attain the jhānas and the path results no matter how hard they try to practice. However, due to their efforts to practice in this life, in the next life they can become three-rooted beings, continue to practice and realize the Way. + Third class (non-greed, non-hatred and non-delusion): Including humans and gods with wisdom and they brahma. They are reborn with the great wholesome mind associated with wisdom. They can attain jhānas and results in this present life if they put in the effort to practice. The life span of beings The life span of beings in different realms. In the four realms of suffering and the human realm, the lifespan of living beings is long and short. The life span of beings in the Four Great Heavenly Kings heaven is 500 years, the higher the realm, the longer the life span (see Table A below). -1 day in the Heaven of the Four Great Kings is equal to 50 years in the human realm. 500 years in this realm equals 9 million years in the human realm. -1 day in Heaven and Earth = 100 years in the human realm. 1000 years in this realm is equal to 36 million years in the human realm. -1 day in Heaven and Nightmare = 200 years in the human realm. 2,000 years in this realm equals 144 million years in the human realm. -1 day in the Tusita Heaven realm = 400 years in the human realm. 4,000 years in this realm equals 576 million years in the human realm. -1 day in the Heaven Transformation Realm = 800 years in the human realm. 8,000 years in this realm equals 2,304 million years in the human realm. -1 day in Heaven, Tha Hoa Tu Tran = 1,600 years in the human realm. 16,000 years in this realm equals 9,216 million years in the human realm. - The time from when a person's life span increases from 10 years old to an uncountable number and then gradually decreases to 10 years old is a Middle kalpa (Antara-kappa). - 64 Middle kalpas is an A rise period (Asankheyya-kappa). - 4 A period of increased life period is a Great kalpa (Maha-kappa). The seventh season of retreat, the Buddha ascended to the Dao Loi heaven to preach the Dharma to the assembly of the Dao Loi gods for 90 days. No one in the human realm can listen to a sermon for 90 days like that, but 90 days in the human world is only 3.6 minutes in this heaven, so the gods here listen to the sermon for 3.6 minutes without difficulty. . (The Essence of the Buddha Abhidhamma, Dr. Mehm Tin Mon, p. 194) Table A: Sentient beings in all realms, life span and rebirth mind of beings C. Their mind: 89/121 Mind. Abhidhamma analysis of the mind of sentient beings into 89 minds of which there are 81 worldly minds and 8 worldly minds as follows: - 81 Worldly minds include: 1.54 Minds of the sex world, including: - 12 Unwholesome minds: 8 minds have the root of greed, 2 have the root of anger and 2 have the root of delusion. - 18 Uncaused mind: + 7 non-virtuous fruition consciousness: eye consciousness, eye consciousness, tongue consciousness, tongue consciousness, body consciousness (suffering feeling), receiving mind feeling (feeling free) and contemplating mind (feeling equanimity). + 8 non-virtuous results: eye-consciousness, eye-consciousness, tongue-consciousness, tongue-consciousness, body-consciousness (pleasant feeling), receiving mind-feeling (feeling free), contemplating mind (feeling equanimity) and contemplating mind (feeling joyful). . + 3 The mind works without cause: Five doors directing the mind, Mind-door directing the mind and Tieu birth-mind (Only Buddhas and Arahants have Tieu born-mind). - 24 Good passion mind: 8 Great wholesome mind, 8 Great fruition mind and 8 Great functional mind. 2. 15 Mind of the Realm of Form: 5 Mind of Goodness, 5 Mind of Fruition and 5 Mind of Functionality. 3. 12 Mind of the Formless Realm: 4 Good Minds, 4 Fruitful Minds and 4 Functional Minds. - 8 Out-of-the-world mind includes 4 holy paths and 4 holy results. These 8 worldly consciousnesses, if multiplied by 5 meditative stages, will have 40 worldly out-of-this-world consciousnesses, bringing the number of minds to 121 (81 worldly minds+40 worldly out-of-this-world minds). The number of minds of sentient beings in the Three Realms (see table B below). 1. The class of Non-human suffering in the Four Realms of suffering has only 37 minds. 2. Rank No human in the realm of happiness and Class Two in the realm of Sex has 41 minds. 3. The third person in the Sex realm has 45 minds, the Form realm has 39 minds and the Formless realm has 24 minds. 4. Tu Da Hoan in the Desire realm has 41 minds, the Form realm has 35 minds and in the Formless realm has 20 minds. 5. Tu Da Ham in the Sex realm has 41 minds, the Form realm has 35 minds and in the Formless realm has 20 minds. 6. Ananda in the Desire realm has 39 consciousnesses, the Form realm has 35 consciousnesses and in the Formless realm has 20 consciousnesses. 7. The Arhat in the Sex realm has 35 minds, the Form realm has 31 minds and the Formless realm has 15 minds. Table B: Number of minds of beings in the Three Realms As mentioned, the Buddha did not advocate discussing issues related to the world, the origin of the world, or even the issue of supernatural powers. The explanation of the world, about the victory and suffering of the realms is only for the purpose of encouraging sentient beings to practice good karma to be reborn in the peaceful realms. The same is true of mind analysis, only to guide sentient beings back to live peacefully with their own mind, because when the mind is calm, the world will be peaceful. Therefore, the teachings given by the Buddha, even if it is an analysis of the world, of sentient beings, of long and short life span, are only meant to lead sentient beings to the path of liberation.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).WORLD VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST ORDER=BUDDHIST DHARMA WHEEL GOLDEN MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.11/1/2022.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.
