Crazy Island sentient beings in the nine Dharma Realms. Sentient beings go crazy is a phrase that Buddhists often hear. But what does insanity mean? Most Venerable Master Tuyen Hoa taught: "Insanity is to see suffering as joy, for right is to be fruit, for impermanence is permanent. Insanity also means that the mind is uncertain, in the head is delusional, seeing the right thing not to do, seeing benefits, then running. In short, not distinguishing between black and white, not knowing what is true and false, are called insanity." The saying: "Creating or creating karma, receiving retribution" is the law of cause and effect. The first is delusion, which creates a false mind and then creates karma. After creating karma, you will receive results - retribution, that is natural. The retribution is inconceivable, but the sentient beings create karma is also inconceivable. At first birth fascination, also inconceivable. The reason is the kinds of things, all are inconceivable, thus making all sentient beings reel, confused, not knowing where is the clue, what is appropriate. 10 important things lay Buddhists need to know. What is the Ten Goodwill? What is the Three Realms? What is a ghost. What is Asura. What is greed. 12 Kinds of retribution for sentient beings. Insulating sentient beings in the nine dharma worlds Insulating sentient beings in the nine dharma realms Two Crazy things Inverting the views of sentient beings In the Shurangama Sutra, there is a discussion of two crazy things that reverse false views. What are these two crazy things? The first is called Beings of Separated Karma, that is, because we alone create karma unlike all others, and understand our own behavior unlike others, in all cases, we are completely different. For example, thinking that he is the best, harming others for his own benefit, likes to do things that are far-fetched, or do things that no one else dares to do. That is creating karma, but if you create it yourself, you will live longer, compared to other people. The second type is called Beings of the same fate, ie, created by sentient beings with karma, they are the same with all others; Just like a natural disaster that kills thousands of people, that's called collective karma. Those people who do evil together should experience the same retribution. The word "ant" here means understanding, because by taking the delusion of sentient beings as your own, accepting a thief as your own child, it gives birth to all kinds of delusional attachments. Because of delusion, delusion is born, because of delusion, it creates countless negative karmas, so together they will experience evil results. * Now I would like to tell a true story about Communism as follows: The 33rd National Year (1944), In Henan province, China, there was absolutely no rain for a whole year, the land was dry, but there was also a locust plague. These locusts fill the sky every time they fly. All agricultural products were eaten by them, not even a single blade of grass could grow. At that time, a child saw in the sky an old man with a bag, and from morning to evening always dropped grasshoppers from the bag and flew across the sky. The people there, because they were so hungry, spread their nets to catch locusts to eat. They think that locusts are also an agricultural product, so there is no poison. Who would have thought that when these locusts were cooked, they turned into dung, into mud, inedible, no one dared to eat them. Because they were so hungry, the people had no choice but to move to another place. Eight hundred miles from Henan province to Chang'an, In the distance, there are countless dead people to tell; These people died horribly, and everyone who saw them was terrified. This can be said to be an example of "communal karma" that evokes retribution. * Now let's talk about Vong Kien Separated Karma and Vong Kien Dong. In the Surangama Buddha, there is a very clear explanation. What is the Vong Kiem Special Karma? Just like in this world, there are people who are blinded and see a red color in front of their eyes, and at night when looking at the lights, they see around the lights with colorful light rings. Because the eyes are sick, they can see such illusions, see all the five colors of the same message. This sick eye represents ignorance, at night represents delusion, the light represents the visceral nature, ie one's own nature, the five colors represent the Five Aggregates or Five Warms, which are false ceilings. create. Because sentient beings have false views, they have illusions in the outer world; If false views are removed, then the disease is no more, how can that illusory light be obtained? The good eye represents true wisdom, and the light bulb represents truth. If you use true wisdom to see the truth, then the One True Dharma Realm will have absolutely no Five Warms and Five Trầns at all. It's like having a person whose eyes are not sick, but make themselves sick. Like a guy smoking opium, he once laughed while he was standing in front of a wall. * -I asked: "Why are you smiling?" - He replied, "It's weird! This wall is so beautiful, it has all five colors of light shining on all four sides.” It's just an illusion, if you don't have an illness, if you smoke opium, your mind will become crazy. Those illusions that are fake are assumed to be real, so I'm in a coma, but I don't know I'm in love! Above is the explanation of Vong Kien Special Karma. Next, in the Sutra, it is explained what is Vong Kien Dong. For example, in Jambudvipa there is a small continent, there are only two countries where the retribution is not the same. The people of a country feel bad luck, all encounter unexpected accidents; and the people in the neighboring country have nothing to do with it. It is due to hope or hope, career hope, hope that created. As currently in the United States, the East often has hurricanes and floods that kill many people, but the Southwest is completely unharmed. That's because karma is only in the East, not in the Southwest. Either someone who sees two suns or two moons is a bad omen; The ancients said: "Heaven is second to none, the People are second to none." (Above, there are no two suns; Water, there are no two kings.) * In China, about the Xia dynasty, King Kiet was a tyrant, and suddenly two suns appeared in the air, and the Xia Nhan dynasty perished. That is a fierce omen foretold. There are also omens called Vung, Thich, Boi, Quyet. The evil spirits surrounding the moon that obscure the moon are called Vong; the black gas covering the moon is called Thich; The white gas on the side of the moon is called Boi, and half of it is called Quyet. These are bad omens pertaining to the moon. Chinese history has recorded that when the moon was obscured seven times, Han Cao To in Pengcheng was besieged by the Xiongnu invaders. The star with a long light behind its tail was called Tue, ie a comet; The shorter aura sweeping the four sides is called Starch; In the air, it is called Phi Tinh; below that jumps up called Luu Tinh; Those are all bad omens belonging to the stars. In the Spring and Autumn Book, it is recorded that King Tong Nhuong Cong was not benevolent, so the stars fell like rain, and King Qin Shi Huang was extremely tyrannical, then the comet appeared; It is also a bad omen. Evil gas above the sun is called Phu, next to the sun is called Er. After it rains, a rainbow appears, it is called Hong Nghe, in the morning it is called Hong, in the afternoon it is called Nghe; Those are all bad omens of the sun. In short, besides the sun and moon, those gases that appear are all harbingers of misfortune. * In China, every time a dynasty changes, bad omens happen. Once, an emperor saw a bad omen in a star, and immediately summoned a celestial official to ask if there would be a good or bad omen. -The Kham Thien Giam said: "This is a very bad omen, Your Majesty may die. but I have a way to make the Prime Minister suffer such atrocities on behalf of His Majesty, will Your Majesty consent?” The king replied: "The prime minister is in charge of the country's affairs, so how can he die for me?" The official asked, "Is it possible to transfer disaster to the people?" "The people are the source of the country, I work for the people, how can I let the people die for me?" "If that's the case, could it be transferred to the crops?" "If the crops are lost, the people will starve to death, that's something we can't do!" * When Quan Kham Thien Giam heard it, he immediately bowed down and said: "The Emperor is indeed a wise man with benevolence, he will definitely turn the ferocious into auspicious; The Emperor definitely can't die!" Sure enough, the next day the bad omen in heaven disappeared and was no longer seen. That proves that nothing is fixed, Only your mind changes. If the mind is good, it can turn bad things into good things; Therefore, Lao Tzu said: "Recovering from the heart is good, although the child is good, the good God depends on whatever. Turning his heart to evil, Evil is the child of the Evil God, whatever it is." Translation: "Turns the mind towards good, Good deeds have not yet been done, but Thien Than has followed closely. Turning his mind to evil, Evil has not yet been done, but the Evil God is beside him." Gods have good and evil; Good gods protect good people, Evil gods punish bad people, so it is said: "Pain, good luck, no gate, Only man moves on his own." (Pain and blessing have no entrance. Only self-acquired.)If we don't do evil in our mind, bad things (unhealthy) cannot arise. Sentient beings are crazy, strong and difficult to overcome. It is difficult to measure the nature of beings. For example, people who like sweet food give them sour food, they don't like it, they're not happy. A person who likes sour food and gives sweets will not be happy. For such people, if you do not know their qualities, it is difficult to save them. Because the Buddha has wisdom, he knows the roots of sentient beings, so he adapts and adapts, and is not afraid to work hard to save sentient beings. However, sentient beings not only are not moved, but also refuse to accept the teachings of the Buddha and Bodhisattva. That is why it is said: "Sentient beings are suffering from pain and suffering." Does that mean that difficult sentient beings are not pitiful? The word “sorrow” here means tragic. Because sentient beings are stupid and perverted, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are born with such compassion. Why are sentient beings so difficult? It's because of "falling in love with the ceiling and the crazy nature." That is, being fascinated by the ceiling, crazy. That is the answer. Because sentient beings, for countless kalpas, have been deeply polluted by the six senses. Diving in the sea of suffering, developing the cycle of depression, insanity, reverse arrogance, taking suffering as joy, taking what is wrong for right. * For example, today people prefer to dress according to fashion, which is not only not dignified but also produces many bad consequences later. Everyone in the world knows it, but they all make that mistake. Everyone is fighting, competing, not knowing that the sea of suffering is boundless, but turning around will come to the end. Just like the weapons of war now, mankind not only does not destroy them, but also tries to make them more sophisticated every day, trying to invent new and sophisticated killer things. . See, if this isn't crazy, what is? Because of the perversion of sentient beings, all sages and good-knowledges wholeheartedly advise sentient beings; It is like an adult teaching a child, pulling an ear to instruct. Even so, sentient beings would not listen; even looking for hundreds of ways to hide their sins, not letting the above know. This is truly “The ear of the ear is destined to be invincible.” It means pulling the ear, pointing at the face to teach, but it can't be taught. Oh! The ability of sentient beings to commit crimes is unparalleled; Even Buddhas and Bodhisattvas find it difficult to save sentient beings. Do you find it really pathetic? Crazy Island Beings in the Dharma Realm Among the beings in the nine Dharma Realms (that is, the Dharma Realm of Bodhisattvas, Pratyekabuddhas, Sravakas, gods, asuras, humans, animals, hungry ghosts, etc.) , hell), there are intelligent beings and there are stupid beings. Only the Buddha, because of his great wisdom and respect, is completely intelligent and free from ignorance. Looking down from the perspective of the Buddha Dharma Realm, the sentient beings in the Bodhisattva Dharma Realm are very confused. The actions that bodhisattvas do and consider themselves right, are just crazy in the eyes of the Buddha. From the bodhisattva's dharma realm looking down at the dharma realm of conditioned enlightenment, they see that they are like children, whose actions are not righteous, and they are all perverted. Looking up, Bodhisattvas do not know anything in the Buddha's Dharma Realm, they only know thoroughly about the Pratyekabuddha Dharma Realm, that's why there is a saying: "The first ground does not know the second ground, the ten ground does not know equality." that is, do not know the higher level of the Dharma Realm than yourself. It's called knowing, but it's just to understand the situation briefly and thoroughly. * At the Dharma Realm of Pratyekabuddha, looking at the Thanh-literary level, the sentient beings here are crazy. But looking up at the Buddha and Bodhisattva levels, they do not know clearly. Why? Because they are not strong enough. The samadhi of Pratyekabuddha is only enough to observe the causes and conditions within the range of eighty thousand aeons returning, and the causes and conditions beyond eighty thousand aeons cannot be observed. In the Dharma Realm of Thanh Van, to look at the gods is crazy here. The gods enjoy heavenly blessings, but for the superior vision, they still act in a crazy way. In the Dharma Realm, when the gods look at the asura scene, the asuras are crazy, the sentient beings here do not practice virtue, only know how to fight. If the fight is not crazy, then what is it? Looking at the gods from the asura's dharma realm, they don't understand much; but looking at the human world, they know it thoroughly. Atula saw that people were crazy, floating in samsara without knowing suffering; Enjoying suffering, being attached to not wanting to give up, looks pitiful. * In the legal world of humans, no one knows the realm of the asura; also do not know anything about the life of the gods, or the dharma world of the four saints; but for the dharma realm of animals, it is clearly known. They see animals so confused, crazy, do not know anything but the illusion of food and sex. Animals look at the hungry ghost and realize that the hungry ghost is crazy; they suffer because of the food, but when they eat, the food is fire, they cannot swallow. In the Dharma Realm, the hungry ghosts look at the hellish Dharma Realm and see sentient beings in hell. The sentient beings here have created evil karma and must receive evil retribution, but do not know how to change and turn evil into good. In the world of hell, sentient beings are completely ignorant; Living in a coma, dying in a coma, only knowing about himself, not knowing anyone else. Hell is a vast sea of suffering, There is no bright road. All sentient beings in the nine dharma realms are perverted. Only Buddha can go to the end, achieve Buddhahood, so there is no more confusion. For these reasons, we practice and study the Buddhadharma as the key to attaining true wisdom; to avoid having to go up and down within the nine legal worlds mentioned above; and to go above and beyond, to the Pure Land of Eternal Light; to be in the same place as the Buddhas. In the world of hell: Every day, thousands of living beings are born and then die; hundreds of thousands of insanity, suffering can not be said. Why so? Here, evil karma is flooded, so sentient beings must atone for their sins. In the scene of ten thousand inversions, there is no half of not insanity; Therefore, it is extremely difficult to leave this Dharma Realm. Compared to the scene of the hungry ghost, although the hungry ghost can't eat enough, he is always hungry, but hell is much more miserable. Of the ten thousand perversions of the hungry ghost, there may be a half, or a part not perversion. (These numbers are given for comparison, not absolute). * In the legal world of animals: In ten thousand parts crazy, there is one part or one and a half not crazy; such as goats know a little bit of love kneeling when suckling; crows also have the meaning of nursing their children, animals that know filial piety. Animals that are tenfold not crazy, may have the opportunity to go up the good path. Moreover, like a dog that knows how to keep the house, the rooster crows in the morning; silkworms release silk, bees produce honey; horses pulling carts, buffalo pulling plows, are also helpful to mankind; With a little merit, in the future, you can escape from the animal life. In the world of human: In ten thousand parts crazy, calm or ten or fifty parts; not more than one hundred parts at most, is not crazy. While not going crazy, people do meritorious deeds, either bowing to the Buddha or reciting the Buddha's name. When it's crazy, it's delusional thinking, greed for fame and gain, and a solid fight. Why is there only one hundred percent that is not crazy? Roughly, when bowing to the Buddha, for example, at that time, it was not crazy. But there are times when the body is bowing to the Bodhisattva, but the mind is praying for the Bodhisattva's blessing, hoping that the Bodhisatta will win the lottery, bless him with peace; even, there are people who refuse to study, but also pray to Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara to protect poinsettias; that is madness. * At the legal world of as-ula, living beings also have about a hundred percent not crazy, maybe a little bit above or below that number; because asuras enjoy heavenly blessings, but they consider themselves not enough; and because of greed, they often fight to harm the freedom of others. In the world of gods, then there can be a thousand non-inverting parts in the string. They have elaborate meditation, an upward direction; thinking of eating is having food, thinking of wearing is having clothes to wear; The mind thinks about what is there, so there is less confusion. In the Dharma Realm Thanh-Van: Of the ten thousand parts that are crazy, there are about two thousand that are not crazy. Because of these people, they practice the Four Noble Truths - suffering, practice, cessation, and the path. They understand the principles of impermanence, emptiness, and not-self, so there is less confusion here. In the Dharma Realm, Pratyekabuddha: In ten thousand parts of inversion, there can be up to three thousand parts that are not perverse. Here the Pratyekabuddhas, by contemplating the twelve causes and conditions, enlightened to the Way, understanding everything as illusory; so they have absolutely no attachment to anything. * In the bodhisattva's dharma realm, out of ten thousand parts are perverse, there may be five thousand parts that are not perverted, so there are still five thousand parts that are perverse. The Bodhisattva specializes in cultivating the six degrees of ten thousand lives, but there is still a part of ignorance, so it has not reached the ultimate level. In the Dharma Realm the Buddhas, even ten thousand perversions, are absent. Because the Buddha has completed the three enlightenments, ten thousand virtues are full; no delusions, no madness. Buddha is unsurpassed righteous enlightenment. You must do your research! Why are we in this world not yet cleared of defilements, but still in a mess waiting to die? The monastic does not pretend to be a monastic; at home, he refuses to practice! How long do you have to wait to practice? This life is the world's five defilements, what is the use of clinging to birth and death? You! Be earnest in the matter of birth and death, quickly generate bodhicitta, and do not create more perverse things. Turn around! Try to get up, "the sea has no shore, turning back is the wharf."END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 times ).WORLD VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST ORDER=BUDDHIST DHARMA WHEEL GOLDEN MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.8/1/2022.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.
