The villagers want to cross the river, go to the water begging:

- Old man, he did not give us how to do? He is a skilled trainer, everyone trust him, please bear with him a bit to go!

The old boatman refused to let go, so that Guan Yin Bodhisattva and a few villagers boarded the boat, once again put the paddle opposite the shore, one side said:

- You do not know how dangerous it is to sail on the Luoyang River! Over the past ten years, I have been rowing, encountering so many dangerous scenes, that I hardly work, so luckily, every time I come back from the dead. On this river, I have seen countless boats overturned, countless people drowned as fish bait. I'm old, no longer healthy, before anything I will have to leave the boat only!

Bodhisattva Quan Yin intervened to ask:

- Ladies, this river is fast flowing, many whirlpools, rowing is dangerous, how can not happen to the accident! Why do not we build a bridge across the river? I'm from far away, where I live, if there are rivers that are dangerous like this, there are bridges across.

The old man sighed and shook his head, one of the sailors said,

Bodhisattva Quan Yin asked:

- Do people stand out on their own?

The old man heard that, laughing sadly that:
