Ignorance is not knowing impermanence, arising and passing aware.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.
Vipassana in Buddhism is wisdom, seeing as it really is about all dharmas. When the Buddha attained enlightenment, he proved the Tam Minh (Tuc Mang Minh, Thien Nhan Minh, Luu Tam Minh). The Arahants who testify to the Way are ignorant and born of ignorance.
We Buddhist disciples every moment are still practicing vipassana, promoting mindfulness and awareness to see that all dharmas are impermanent, arising and passing away, and not self.
“Once, Buddha was living in the Bamboo garden, in the Calanda area, in the city of Vuong Xa. At that time Venerable Sāriputta and Venerable Maha Kohila were together in the Mount Kysākākāra. In the afternoon, after getting up from meditation, Venerable Maha Cau-hila went to Venerable Sariputra, visited together, then sat down to one side and spoke to Venerable Sariputra. :
– I have something to ask, Do you have time to answer?
Venerable Sariputra replied:
– Depending on what the Human asked, if I know, I will answer.
Venerable Maha Kohila asked Venerable Sariputra:
- Called ignorance, so what is ignorance?
Venerable Sariputra replied:
- Don't know. Not knowing is ignorance. Do not know anything? Do not know as real the eye is impermanent; That's called not knowing. Not knowing as it really is is the law of birth and death, which is called not knowing. It is the same with the ears, nose, tongue, body, and mind. Thus, the venerable Maha Kwo-hila, regarding these six sense-bases, which are not as they really are, see, know, are not discontinuous, are ignorant, are not bright, and are not dark, that is called ignorance.
Venerable Maha Ko-hila again asked Venerable Sariputra:
- Called Minh, so what is Minh?
Venerable Sariputra replied:
- Is to know. Knowing is wisdom. Know what? Eyes are impermanent, should know as real eyes are impermanent; The eye is the law of birth and death, so you should know that the eye is the law of birth and death. It is the same with the ears, nose, tongue, body, and mind. Venerable Maha Kwo-hila, with regard to these six bases of contact, knowing, seeing, understanding, enlightenment, wisdom, and non-interruption is called insight.
At that time, the two Chief Elders were delighted, and each returned to his own place.
Wisdom is the opposite of ignorance. Ignorance is like a dark night, but wisdom is like the moon and sun.
It turns out, wisdom or wisdom is not far away but right in our present life. Right in your six senses (eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, mind), observe to see clearly that they are impermanent, are dharmas arising and passing away. The difficulty is that we are not always aware to visualize (non-enlightenment), clearly seeing that dharmas are arising and passing away in every moment.
The six sense bases of impermanence arise and fall away and come into contact with the six sense objects (form, sound, smell, taste, touch, and dharma) as well as impermanent arising and passing away. Because contact is the condition that connects the sense organs together, from which love and hate arise. Ignorance or wisdom appears in this moment and leads us to endless ups and downs, joys and sorrows, or gentle peace in life.
Without knowing (ignorance), everything is real, all sufferings and joys in life exist very real. From there, wandering around seeking, holding on to what you love and rejecting, driving away the things you hate. The vicious cycle of love and hate of life will end when our mind is clear, seeing that our senses are all false, we gently let go of everything. Often intelligent, ie always clearly knowing the conditionality of the law, then peace of mind.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).WORLD VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST ORDER=BUDDHIST DHARMA WHEEL GOLDEN MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.20/12/2021.
