Why, when people just died, relatives absolutely must not touch their bodies
Illustrative image - Source: InternetAccording to ancient beliefs, after 8 to 16 hours from the moment of death, a person's soul will gradually leave the body. Their feelings right now were like skin peeling, incredible agony. Just a little touch is painful like a thousand butchers, creating anger (resentment). Even when breathless, the soul has yet to leave, meaning that even though the body is cold, the consciousness remains warm in the body for 8 hours. If those who are resentful, weeping will make them feel attached, anxious and do not want to leave.
In the past, the Great Patriarchs taught us that when helping fellow believers to recite birth, it is special to pay attention not to touch their people, not only not to touch their bodies, but even the bed. nor can they be touched, because now they have suffering, when they suffer, they will generate hatred, and an angry birth will be detrimental to them.
After a person dies, the body becomes very cold. And during this time, relatives often do the procedures to change clothes, make up, cover ... In the time from 8 to 16 hours, someone takes up to 18 hours for their souls to leave the body, if known. Before this, relatives can touch their bodies to help them leave peacefully.
After a period of abstinence above and can be considered "safe", relatives can touch some places to judge where the dead have "gone": If there is warmth in the soles of the feet: hell; warmth in the knee: animal wall; warm breasts: reincarnated into a human, warm eyebrows: go to Heaven; abdomen: ghost wall (most people have warmth in their abdomen after death). These are the five realms including Atula, the six samsara, according to the Buddhist conception.
If you are lucky enough to be reincarnated to the Western world of bliss: The body is soft like cotton, the top of the head generates heat, the color of the face is ruddy, and it emits sandalwood.
In addition to this way of touching this body, the way they lose, calm or "evil" is also a way to judge.
When a family member is devoted to the Buddha's direction, during reciting Buddha's name, it is absolutely forbidden to cry because it can bring suffering and attachment that makes the family member unable to relax and reincarnate.
Because of compassion for relatives to leave, it is absolutely not advisable to hug and cry, move them to many places, even bathe or change clothes when their body is not cold. Nor should they be injected with anti-decomposition drugs, or put in cremation after 2-3 days because their souls are still feeling with their bodies. Those are really what the dead feel 'mistreated' when they die.
In addition, when entering the burial chamber, loved ones need to temporarily hold back to prevent tears from falling into the deceased's body. That is why in some families, relatives do not allow the deceased's spouse / children to hide in shroud because the close relatives easily shed tears and shot the deceased's body.
In addition, when a loved one dies, the family member must paste all items such as television, glass doors, etc. with reflective mirrors. Because according to ancient conception, when we die, the deceased will still move around in our house, for the living, we still carry a physical body, so when we look in the mirror, They will see their own image, but for the deceased, they do not have a physical body, so if they look in the mirror they will not see their image, so they are easily shocked and difficult to escape. Therefore, people who live often avoid them from seeing it, so they have to stick paper on mirrored objects.
"There is holy worship, good abstinence", I hope that when people know these things, everyone will remember and avoid these things, so that the dead can relax in eternity.
