Near-death karma.

Karma has four main categories. That is:
1. Extreme career (Garukakamma): such as the crime of killing father, mother, A-la-Han, breaking harmony and making the Buddha's body bleed. This karma is also known as non-career.
2. Near-death karma (Ásannakamma): is karma to create or remember to think at death. This karma is very important because it governs rebirth.
3. The custom of karma (Acarikakamma): is the actions that become the customs of the human personality. The good karma practice can help people rejoice at death and vice versa.
4. Karma accumulation: is the remaining karma. This karma is like a storage place for the karma of a being.
In a life there are many mixed good and evil karma. So at the end of life, what kind of karma leads to rebirth? Usually, which karmic practice is strong, it will rise most strongly before death, so there is a strong factor determining where to be reborn. However, near-death karma is the karma created before death (good karma or unwholesome) is the decisive factor in the realm of rebirth. When there is the event of the near-death karma that determines the realm of rebirth, of course the last thoughts play a decisive role. This means that for a practitioner, usually the practice of mindfulness and awareness will keep an active part in rebirth. If the final awakening before death is strong enough to eliminate craving (craving, loving and non-loving), karma can be liberated on the spot.
In the story of Phap 2 2, Crying for Things in Heaven taught by the Buddha in Xa guard from the story of Matthakunddali. At Xa-guard, there is a Brahmin named Adinnapubbaka (meaning "not for", because he never gave anyone anything). He was so stingy that he wanted to give his son lots of jewelry, but was afraid of losing money for the carver, so he made a pair of gold earrings for his son to wear. When Matthakunddali was sixteen years old he got jaundice. The mother felt impatient and urged him to invite the physician to cure the disease. But because he was stingy, he was afraid of paying the doctor's salary, so he inquired about different remedies to cure his child. But even if we did it one way or another, the person's illness got worse and worse. At that time, he invited a physician to come, but everyone gave up. Seeing that his son was near death, although he was sad but he still did not forget his stinginess, he ordered to take the child out of the house, lay on the porch, for fear that people who would visit their children would peek at the property in the house. That day, the Buddha gave up concentration and used his great compassion to contemplate those who made the vows in the life of the Buddhas before, those who are fully rooted, and who are friends can leave home. He contemplated with the Buddha's eyes extending to the ten directions of the world and saw Matthakunddali lying dying on his doorstep, also knowing that he had a predestined relationship with Buddha, put all his faith in Buddha, would die and would be reborn in the realm. in the thirty-third heaven, living in a golden castle, with a thousand goddesses following her. Then The Ton read He contemplated with the Buddha's eyes extending to the ten directions of the world and saw Matthakunddali lying dying on his doorstep, also knowing that he had a predestined relationship with Buddha, put all his faith in Buddha, would die and would be reborn in the realm. in the thirty-third heaven, living in a golden castle, with a thousand goddesses following her. Then The Ton read Syntax :
"The Italy leads the dhammas
intentionally creates
If with the defiled mind
Saying or acting
Blissful steps follow
As the ball does not leave the picture".
At the end of the Phap Cu passage , there are eighty-four thousand people purified by the Dharma. Matthakunddali proving results Reserve, even Brahmin Adinnapubbaka also proved results. The Master then preached: "Mind is the root of action". Because works out of faith follow him in heaven like a silhouette.
The second story is about a family that takes refuge in the Buddha, but the father does not believe in the Three Jewels. In it, the youngest son knew about Buddhism and left home. Having been ordained for more than a year, the father was seriously ill and the son took care of him. At this time, the son learned and understood the Dharma and advised the sick father: "Father, now I am very sick, my health is very weak. If you still have concerns about the insecurity or something that has not been done, please tell us, especially if you still hide and owe money, let someone borrow money so that we can replace you to do all these things. . Unfortunately, when I suddenly go away but bring the above things with me, then surely I cannot escape to be reborn ”. But the father insisted that there was nothing to worry about or debt, hiding and lending money to anyone.
Soon the father dies, the son takes care of the funeral in accordance with the Buddhist ritual, but worries about what he told the father at death, because the son knows that the father sacrifices himself for the rest of his life. body, despite doing deeds to create negative karma so that the family can be fully full and happy. Anything will come, near the 49th anniversary of the death anniversary, the father announces to the eldest son in the house that he has left the money in the closet there. When the brother searched, it was just like in a dream. The youngest son is worried and advised his family, in Buddhism there is the fourth day of monks' completion of three months of solitary retreat, so they should buy food and vegetables to donate to the monks, thanks to this blessing to dedicate to the father. soon escaped and the family agreed.
It is also important that before the death of the Buddha, we will surely be reborn in a peaceful realm as the first story, not only will the dead benefit many benefits but also others hear. That testimony also has certain benefits such as pure witness, in the result saved ... That is the benefit of the person who has full conditions with the Buddha. And now, the Buddha entered Nirvana, there are monks. They practice according to the Buddha's teachings, always doing good things for themselves and for everyone. While we are still alive, we must follow the monks and nuns to learn the Buddha's teachings, always do good and evade evil. These are essential items for a human life. Therefore, before dying, the family can invite monks to chant sutras,
Through these two stories shows us that, every day we accumulate many good deeds, keep the five precepts, surely at death, our near-death karma will remember more good deeds and will be reborn. about the peaceful realm. But every day, we always do unwholesome deeds, at the time of death, near-death karma will lean toward unwholesome deeds and will follow that karma to be reborn in one of the three hells, pretas, animals to pay. Karma. Especially for us Buddha children, whether at home or ordained, always engrave each Buddha's teachings in order to make them their personal salary and luggage for themselves and their family, everyone takes it to study. ask and practice.
