HOUSEHOLD]: What Feelings Will You Experience at the time of death?VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.

At the time of death, you must experience many extreme painful feelings, which are caused by the following reasons:

1. At the time the great geography merges or dissolves into the great ocean, the body becomes heavy and the body cannot depend on itself.

2. At the time of the great water integration into the fire, the mouth and nose were dry, and stopped speaking.

3. At the time of the great fire integration into the wind element, the body temperature disappeared.

4. By the time the gong merges into the great consciousness, you can only breathe out wheezing and inhale the choked hiccups.

At that moment, you will feel as if you are being weighed down by a very large mountain, being trapped in the dark, falling into the infinity of nothingness. If your mind is purely listening to and reciting the Buddha's name, the whole sky will naturally shine brightly like an spreading brocade. The darkness and weight of mind immediately vanished. More than that, the form of Amitabha spontaneously appeared in your mind, together with sublime luminosity like a hundred thousand suns shining at the same time. Light is bright, but amazingly lucid, it doesn't dazzle you; on the contrary, it makes you extraordinarily alert, lucid and empty. Naturally, you no longer have the painful feeling caused by your four elemental body dissociating.

At this point your enlightenment will remind you: Don't get distracted! Don't be emotional! It is not long before Amitabha Buddha will come to lead you to the realm of Dewachen. You must try to keep your mind calm and peaceful and keep reciting Buddha's name ceaselessly, even when meeting Amitabha Buddha. Why so? Because if you keep your mind as empty as nothing, not touched by the customary joy of living beings, when you meet the Buddha, you will be born in the realm of Great Bliss with very high dignity. Because right now with the support of Amitabha Buddha, you have attained the Triple Mu Recitation or Unrestrained One Mind. If you still have the emotional joy of meeting the Buddha, your dignity of rebirth will be lowered, because your mind is still attached to ordinary human thoughts.

When you see Amitabha appear, you also see countless Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Saints come together to take your life to take you. The appearance and appearance of the Buddhas of the Western realm are the same as that of Amitabha. The appearance and appearance of the Bodhisattvas are the same as Avalokiteshvara and Great World Religion, there is no difference. You can also hear the voice of the saints reciting the Buddha's name to resonate in the sky with the wonderful and joyous sounds of grace.

It should be noted that before meeting the Buddha, your co-born ghost (karma) will disturb your mind, causing your mindfulness to collapse, it is very difficult or impossible to recite Buddha's name. ; It makes loud, powerful noises and dazzles you. At this point, be aware of this:

1. The feeling of being pressed down by a mountain is not that you are being pressed down by a mountain. That's when your great elements are merging. Don't be afraid of it!

2. The feeling of being trapped in the dark, not trapped in the dark. That's when your potential years are merging!

3. The feeling of being let go of falling into infinity of nothingness is not that you are being let go of. That is your mind has nothing to rely on, because your body and mind have separated and your breathing has stopped.

So you must try to rely on the uninterrupted Buddhist phrase so that your mind will not be dazed by these delusional feelings. All the scenes, appearances, sounds, and lights are all yours, your mind is reflected by the force of the karma. Don't doubt it.

If you feel doubtful, you will be thrown back into samsara. Make a clearer decision to see that it is just self-manifesting, and if you rely on dwell on the Buddha's sign (it is also the realization of clarity in the miraculous vacuum that clears lightness), in truthfulness. without that manifestation of light, you will realize the attainment of the three bodies - Dharmakaya, Sambhogakaya, and Nirmanakaya - and become enlightened. Right then even if you are thrown into samsara, you will not enter there.

You should know that Amitabha Buddha is your protector and also your existential nature to maintain your mind with mindfulness without being distracted. From this point, it is very important to be in a state of no desire and fear, no attachment and attachment to all the objects and functions of the six consciousness, as well as with regard to indulgence, happiness and sorrow. And from now on, if you have attained the "pure concentration", you will be able to begin to be able to take up your natures in righteousness and become enlightened. So the essential point for the life of wisdom is to keep upholding the name Amitabha Buddha continuously, without interruption, without distraction from this very moment.

The samsara is the present practice of qi that leads to your ignorance, doubt, and hesitation. So at the time of death, whatever dreadful phenomena arise, such as sounds, colors and lights, don't be tempted, don't be suspicious and don't be afraid. If you are caught in doubt for even a moment, you will wander in the samsaric realm, so achieve complete, unchanging "calm pure" and not suddenly ceased. .

At this point, the entrances to the uterus (the gateway to rebirth) appear as the palaces of heaven. Don't be attached to them. Be sure to believe in that insightful perception. Be free, without hope and fear! At that time, your own clear and transparent enlightenment (self-reliance) together with Amitabha's leading clarity (self-reliance) will be the combined force to save you.

By attaining the dharmakaya as nothingness for your own benefit, you will achieve the benefit of all sentient beings in the infinite void of dharma realms. You can manifest all kinds of nirmanakaya and reincarnation to benefit all sentient beings in the infinite void of dharma realms, and at that time your mind will spread all beings endlessly.

Conclude:

Because our minds are too far away from enlightenment and awareness, because our karma and crimes are too many to count, the merit is too small like a sesame seed. Because our practice of greed, hatred, delusion, conceit, and suspicion is too heavy to create a dense screen of ignorance covering the Tathagata of ordinary nature.

So, even in the present life, we have to encounter many suffering, infected with messy lakes; Until the time of death, we do not know where to go, where to go, let the karma lead continue to wander through the six paths of samsara.

Now thanks to a little residual blessings, we meet Amitabha Buddha's triumphant universal recitation of Buddha taught by the Buddha Shakyamuni Buddha himself. Those who have great loyalty, great willingness, diligence, and wisdom, who always remember their teacher, Shakyamuni Buddha, who had always trusted Amitabha Buddha, relatives. mind endeavors in practice, those who have a calm mind, and are able to let go of concerns about this world.

These are the people praised by all the Tathagatas in unison; because they, in their previous life, have met the Buddha in the past to take refuge, worship, and make offerings and they have also received the Bodhi sign of the Buddha.

Those who faithfully accept and diligently practice this dharma are the ones who have inherited the infinite wealth of the Tathagatas in the ten directions and three generations. Why? Because this teaching is all the Tathagatas in the Ten Worlds, but each World has countless Tathagatas as many as the sands of the Ganges, praising and praising in unimaginable chants. , there is no difference.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.7/9/2020.
