According to Buddhist scriptures, normally, the person immediately after death must undergo the intermediate state of body within 49 days. During this period of the intermediate state body is always waiting for the destiny to be attained in order to transform into one of the six paths: heaven, cause, a tu la, hungry ghost, animal creature, and hell. However, there are two types of people who, after death, do not go through this intermediate state of life, are those who, while alive, cultivate good virtues (such as reciting the Buddha's name, cultivating the ten virtues), are immediately released into the West of Great Bliss. or heaven. Or are those who, while alive, create negative karma, and immediately fall into hell. Therefore, within these seven hermitages, the incense very much needs the sincere help of the family to expect to be reborn into the good realm. This issue was also questioned by the Venerable Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche in his book "Death and Rebirth" "during the first seven weeks of life is a very important time for the living to do everything that can help to regenerate the dead. . " However, after 49 days, what happens to the spirit and how are they supernatural? There are two possibilities.

1. THE FIRST POSSIBILITY 

After 49 days, the deceased had a place of birth, one of the six paths depending on the kamma while alive and depending on the work of "Buddha" of the relatives within 49 days. When they have a place of 'well-being', doing the work of 'Buddhism' dedicating them to them only increases their blessings. The following is an excerpt of the sermon of Mage Thanh Nghiem in the article "Why do you do a Buddhist thing" that also confirms this point:

“Buddhism advocates supremacy at best within forty-nine days after death. If after forty-nine days to make the Buddha's dedication, of course it also works, but at this time it only increases their merit, but cannot change the realm they have transformed into. Suppose a person who gives birth to money has created evils, destined for the next life that they must fall as a buffalo or a cat or a dog, as soon as they die within forty-nine days if their family is for them to make the Buddhas of the same field. creating conditions for them who are in the intermediate state of the body to hear the monk chanting the sutras, by the way they know some Dharma teachings, at which point they will be born of repentance to establish good will, thanks to that can avoid being an animal being reborn as a human.

If after forty-nine days, they were reborn as cattle, cats and dogs, at this time, the family, for them, will only improve the living conditions of cattle, cats and dogs as if they could make them. Eat well, not be plowed, be loved by everyone until the life of being stabbed by a knife is avoided. If the dead are born, they will immediately have a healthy body, favorable careers, and loving protection from relatives. If they have passed away, their dignity of Padmasambhava will be enhanced soon to become a Buddha. ”

The last words in the Buddhist scriptures of Venerable Ton Thang Da Ra Ni quote a story about the inspiration to recite this Mantra which shows that the Great Master is convinced of the blessings of his relatives after having room. 2. THE SECOND POSSIBILITY

According to Vajrayana, During the 49-day period of the intermediate state body, most consciousnesses are reincarnated in one of the six paths (six paths). In some cases, however, consciousness is stuck in this intermediate state for a very long time, as the Venerable Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche replied, “there are some other people wandering in this intermediate world for a very long time. a long time, sometimes up to seven years to be reborn. If it was the case that they were trapped in this intermediate world, they would become demons. In the Vajrayana teaching that when trapped in the intermediate state, sentient beings suffer a great deal of suffering, wandering around in fear, hunger, sadness, attachment, anger, and regrets about lives. life has passed. They have to go through a lot of hardships, resentment and suffering. " So they desperately need the help of a "super" superior for them. The author Fearless in the article "The Meaning of Changwa Empowerment" writes, "Through the practices of Amitabha Buddha, Buddha Immobility, Quan Yin Sect in Vajrayana, relying on the grace of the Three Jewels, relying on the authentic teachings and the ability to visualize the Buddhas of the Buddha, a Master who has realized Mahamudra of Amitabha or accomplished any other dharma, while entering samadhi, He has the ability to lead the consciousness of spirits suffering in the intermediate state before him and give teachings on impermanence, showing them their own attachment to life. in the past, they were trapped in the medium and could not escape. As a result, the spirit spirit will be of immeasurable benefit and will be instantly transcended. "

In this case, the family may request to raise the Pure Land for enlightenment, Take refuge in the Three Jewels and give the Dharma recitation of the Buddha's birth for incense. Meanwhile, everyone in the family sincerely BIRD BUDDHISM, recite the Mantra of birth, do other 'Buddhas' and dedicate this merit to them, so that they will have a chance to transcend into the good realm.
