* Meaning of Pure Land

The Chinese character is 淨, Sanskrit is śuddhi, or viśuddhi, or pariśuddha, English is pure: all  means clean, clean, pure.

If extracting the word Tinh ° 淨, you can see the image of the person holding the branch to drive the animals away from letting them stomp on the water, fear of making the water dirty, to make the water clear and clean [1] . In another view we will see the word hydro ° 水: water; combined with words avoid ° 爭: prevent; to become pure. Immediately an action that prevents water from being contaminated.

So, anything that is pure without confusion is called pure. According to the Buddha, net is pure, not infected, not infected with defilements; or no longer arises hope and hope [i] .

Degree 土, also known as Tho, Land (English) means residential land, region, land and locality.

Pure Land ° 淨 土 (Han); buddhakṣetra  (Sanskrit); pure land or  buddhisland  (English) means pure land , pure water, Buddha realm. Under the Mahayana, Pure Land is a pure, pure water, where the mind of living beings is not infected with defilements, no afflictions, always happily practicing to reach the end of liberation. Net is the goal, the characteristic of Buddha Dharma. According to the Mahayana conception, the Pure Land must contain two aspects: the pure and pure beings, that is, in addition to the purification of the body and mind, must also transmit Bodhicitta to save sentient beings, transform Ta-she into Pure Land [ ii] .

A realm that is considered Pure Land must satisfy the conditions of the medical profession and the chief justice is also solemn. Chief Justice indicates to the people in that country, that is, they must be solemn, life-giving and good as Buddha, without suffering, the mind of equality, moral solid, intellectual, divine and most is no longer reincarnated in the continent, ... So the Pure Land must be a pure solemn realm of both Buddha and the people. If one is missing, it is no longer the Pure Land.

* Pure Land scenes

From the meaning of the Pure Land, the Pure Land can be divided into two realms. Serious solemn realm of national level; and the realm of purifying the mind.

1 Serious solemn realm of national level.

In this sense, the  Pure Land is considered the "reincarnation" of the world, which is a place of certain geographical position, the realm of a monk who wants to be reborn.  The realm of solemn tranquility due to the practice of the Buddha when he was a Bodhisattva was established and also the place where Buddha and Bodhisattva were to be used as a place of conduct. It is different from the degenerate realm [2] , formed by the interdependent karma of sentient beings. In the ten directions of the world there are innumerable pure lands because there are countless Buddhas, but there are also countless worlds of countless beings. Depending on the miraculous use, the Buddhas have the right to turn into different forms of Pure Land. There are many different Pure Land realms, but some of the Pure Land are temporarily divided as follows:

The Pure Land .  The Pure Land in the ten directions that the Buddha often mentions when he wants to realize some miraculous meaning. These are the pure and solemn realms of purity because of the merit of the Buddhas. For example, the East is the Pure Land of the Buddha's Medicine (Sanskrit:bhaiṣajyaguru-buddha ), and the NobleLand (Sanskrit: abhirati ) of the Immaculate Buddha (Sanskrit:  akṣobhya ). Real Buddha's Realm, away from the world of Ta Ba  "equal to twenty times the Gang River sand, the Buddha's seat is equal to a thousand and two thousand due to the week. Land there with seven treasures, no stone, flat, soft, no furrows, holes. The trees of that realm are made up of four precious things, gold, silver, glass and crystal, lush fruits, not always ... There are many flowers on both sides of the river, such as flowers A Multi-flowery item, Chiem's ​​flowers, Ba tra la flowers, Ba da la flowers, Ma Loi ca flowers, Dai Dai Loi ca, flowers Tan ma ca ca, flowers Tu ma na, flowers Due to the song, Dan ca Loi flowers, ordinary flowers ... The river floor is covered with golden sand, there are four pedestals in gold, silver, glass and colored crystals. Many birds gather in those rivers. There are countless tigers, wolves, lions .... species of birds and evil animals whose hearts see each other like red ones. In that world, all have no offenders, the article of the righteousness and the first sermon on the title, the crime of rebellion.vv ... The realm of air conditioning is appropriate, there is no hot cold, hunger, suffering, no greed, anger and ignorance (jealousy) there is no sun, moon, day and night, the weather is like the second heaven of Loi Loi. The people of that realm all have light, each of them has no arrogance, all of them are Great Bodhisattvas, who are all divine, full of great merit.[iv] ”. In addition, the East also has Buddhas like Buddha Tu-di General, Buddha Tu-di, Buddha Tu-di Quang, Buddha of the Sound, and countless Buddhas.

The worlds to the west have Buddhas like: Amitayus Buddha, Infinite Buddha, Amitabha Buddha, Mahayana Buddha, Buddha Dai Minh, Buddha Bao Dai, Buddha Tinh Quang ..., and so many Buddhas . Particularly the Bliss realm  (Sanskrit: sukhāvatī)  of Amitabha Buddha  (Sanskrit: amitābha)  is one of the Pure Land which is the most praised by the Buddhas. According to the Amitabha Sutra,  "From here through the West ten times like the Buddha's realm, there is a world called the Great Bliss, in that world there is the Buddha's name, Amitabha is now speaking of dharma ... in the Land of Great Bliss. seven nets, seven rows of trees, all of which are surrounded by four treasures ... with a pond of seven treasures, in a pond full of water with eight merits [3], pure pond bottom uses yellow sand to cover soil ... Gold, silver, glass, crystal into the shelf, road on the four sides of the pond; on the roadside with a staircase, it is also serious with gold, silver, glass, crystal, far away, zigzag, agate ... in the realm of that Buddha, often playing heaven and earth with pure gold, day and night six times sprinkling heavenly flowers with mandala ... The realm of the Buddha's name there is no way for a real name to exist [v] . ”

The south is the realm of the Buddha, the Buddha of the Sunlight, the Buddha of Van Quang, the Buddha of Great Diem, the Buddha of Tu-di Dang, the Buddha of Infinite Effort, ...

In the North is the realm of the Old Buddha, the Buddha of Wisdom, the Dark Buddha, the Dark Buddha, the Buddha of the Buddha, the Vajra Buddha ...,

The lower has the Buddhas such as the Lion Buddha, the Buddha's Name, Buddha Danh Quang, the Buddha-Dharma, the Buddha's Dharma, the Dharma Buddha ...

The above method has Buddhas such as: Buddha Amitabha, Buddha of the Great King, Buddha of the Upper Buddha, the Buddha of Guangxi, Buddha of the Great Perspective, the Buddha of Wisdom Strictly the Buddha, Buddha of Ta-la Tho Wang, Buddha of the Buddha, Buddha Necessary Meaning, Buddha As Tu-di Son [vi] ...,

Just like that, every Buddha is staying in a solemn pure land without bare structure.

Pure Price Na Lo .  Speaking to the Patriarch, Na is often related to the world of the Chinese Tibetan and the Buddhist monk. The Bhikkhu Lottery means "Turn the Land", which is also the Dharmakaya of the Buddhas. In the Sutra said,  "The world organ is owned by the ceiling, the most earthly and meditative ceiling". That is, in the Tibetan world full of ceiling dust. In every grain of dust, there appears the dharma realm. Regardless of the realm, the realm of the Bhikkhu's Land is also manifest, because where there is an infinite number of Buddhas. As in the Nirvana Sutra, the Buddha told him to leave :  "You do not know that I have settled in the unborn reality. If you do not believe, go to the East to ask the Buddha what the name is, you will hear him introduce himself: "Shakyamuni is me"! This may be hard to believe, but the Dharmakaya Buddha has been faithfully staying in infertility, though in any way it is only a clone of a Buddha [vii] .

Pure Variation .  It is due to the dread of the Buddhas turned out to be the means of turning the beings into means. For example, on the Linh Son festival, the Buddha because he wanted to guide the three overruns of the Bodhisattva right, he showed them that the realm of Ta Ba was also the pure land. At that time, the Buddha took his toes into the ground with his toes, and the scene of impossibility turned into a serene solemnity. On the other occasion, the Buddha used divine power to turn this world into a world like the emerald jade with seven stately treasures and lotus flowers scattered all over the ground to show us that the item of degeneration also means Pure Land.

Sign the Pure Land Newspaper .  It is the Pure Land that the Bodhisattvas sign the place itself to wait for the land to become Buddha. For example, the heavenly realm has Maitreya Bodhisattva currently residing to wait for the Buddha in the realm of Ta Ba to follow Buddha Shakyamuni. Or the Supreme Bliss realm of Amitabha Buddha also has Bodhisattvas waiting for practice to finish smuggling, then make the land a Buddha to fulfill the wish to save sentient beings. According to the Great Mahayana Commentary:  "The Bodhisattva practice, when merit is fully fulfilled, to the last minute, to clean up the subtle ignorance, to meditate with Prajna, then it is." [4]"Called" Chief Justice ". At that time the Bodhisattva embodied the life-long Self (Reported Body) a thousand trượng, in the Self-life realms (self-life), on the heavenly form of gender, waiting for the period, will go to the land as a Buddha, like The present Maitreya is in heaven. This Bodhisattva naturally has a miraculous effect, manifesting the ten directions of the world, benefiting inconceivable beings [viii] ”

Impossible to Recommend the Pure Land. This is the Pure Land scene that Buddhas use to procure photography, receive sentient beings in the ten directions of the world. The power of photography is inconceivable, because in addition to the contemplation and discourse of beings. For example, the ultimate bliss realm of Buddha Amitabha has the power of collecting photography, all beings in the ten directions of the world and the merit of salvation of Buddha and Bodhisattva in that realm cannot be thought of.

In summary, each Buddha has a Pure Land, there are countless Pure Land because there are countless Buddhas, and the Pure Land is also just one of countless pure solemn realms in ten unreal worlds. However, Pure Land is only considered to be the realm of temporary rebirth and then to the Nirvana [ix] .

2 The realm of pure mind.

Pure Land is a form of enlightened mind, unpolluted  and orientations of East, West, South, and North that are only symbolic [x] . This is also the final route of a practitioner on the path of practice, and depending on the enlightened consciousness, there are different levels of Pure Land. The Pure Land of the mind is also called the  Pure Land . If the pure solemn scene of the state is regarded as the Pure Land, then the realm of mind purification is seen as the Pure Land.

In terms of reason, it is up to you to appear realms. UE mind, the national level, the net, the net of purity. In the Duy Ma Tue teaches:  "The Mind is the Pure Land of Bodhisattva, ... The Mind is the Pure Land of Bodhisattva, ... until Bodhidharma, Alms, Tri Precepts, Patience, Effort, Meditation, Tri Hui, Four Immeasurable Minds, Four Dharma [5] ,  Convenient, Thirty-seven Assistants [6] ,  Islamic Mind, Liberation of the Eight Noble Truths [7] ,  Crosses [8]  are both Pure Land of Bodhisattva Slap .

"Bodhisattva depending on the directness of happiness that initiates, depending on the initiation, is THAM TAM, depending on the mind, the mind is subdued, depending on the subjugation, it is said and acted as one, depending on the saying as one, or dedicate, depending on the direction, then there is a means, depending on the means of being successful beings, depending on the achievements of beings, the Buddha realm is clean. "..." If the Bodhisattva wants to attain Pure Land, they should purify their mind , depending on the pure mind, the Buddha is calm [xi] . ”

Depending on the different high and low practice, there are no pure lands in the Pure Land. The following are the 4 Pure Land [xii]  based on 4 different proofs as follows:

Holy Dong Cu Tinh Pure Land.  Holy being and being together should be called the Holy Saints. This is the national level where Buddha, Bodhisattva and gods of goodness (saints) live together with beings who have not yet witnessed the sacred fruit (divine), because they carry the karma to this realm. Although there are divine, holy people, but still considered as Pure Land. For example, the Pure Land is the pure land of the Pure Land, whereas the realm of the realm of the Sons is the homeland of degree.

Really Report Trang Nghiem Tinh Tinh .  The Bodhisattva relies on the true dharma that cultivates, goes through the three accumulated merits of virtue because of the merit of cultivating many lifetimes to accumulate, to subtract part of ignorance, there is no obstacle between sight and mind, and feeling The true retribution is a solemn retribution, so it is called Tru Bao Trang Nghiem. In the business of Amitabha Quan said: "Tu-practice-true-truth", feeling good to report, so called "The dignified newspaper". This is the realm of tranquility in the levels from the Cross to the Bodhisattva Sense.

Often President [10]  Quang Tinh Pure Land .  This is the realm that has gone into ignorance, and is also the great realm of Nirvana of the Buddhas of residence. Usually unchanged, long-term, not being destroyed, ie Dharmakaya Buddha; President is non-hybrid, is the silence, the separation of the disturbing thoughts, ie the Buddha's liberation; Quang is shining, illuminating throughout the ten directions, ie the great wisdom of Buddha. Thus, this Pure Land contains all three precious virtues of Buddha: Thuong, President, Quang, ie Dharmakaya, Giai Luoi, Dai Tri Hue. This is the realm of the mind of the mind, so it is often lặng calm, illuminated and pure,, so it is often called Pure Land Pure Land [xiii] .

These four realms also belong to the pure solemn realm of the state. Depending on the alert level of the Buddha that has one of the four realms, such as Amitabha Buddha's realm contains four such realms, and the realm of the Buddha's Realms has no realm of Being and Being. Although it is an outside realm, but it is up to you to find out that the two realms are outside.

Summarizing the solemn purity of mind is when sentient beings return to their pure capital nature. It is constantly unchanging, pure, and shining, so seeing the mind is seeing Buddha, and mind is also purity.
