- Mahāpajāpatigotamī, should not ask so, should not plead for the bhikkhunī lady in the teachings of the Tathagata. 
At that time Mrs. Mahāpajāpatigotamī was disappointed to think: "The Blessed One does not allow the woman to receive bhikkhuni in his teachings," so she suffocated, and weeping and reverently paid homage to the Blessed One. It was the first time Mahāpajāpatigotamī had asked the Blessed One to allow the Bhikkhunī Woman in his teachings, but the Buddha advised her not to ask for it.

Venerable Ānanda saw this miserable scene, and asked

Mahāpajāpatigotamī said: 
- Venerable Ānanda, because the Buddha does not allow the woman bhikkhuni, in his teachings. 
Venerable Ānanda said: 
- The Mahapacapatamotamot, if so, please wait here for a moment, waiting for the Blessed Mother to allow the woman to be bhikkhuni, in his teachings. 
At that time, Venerable Ānanda came to pay homage to the Blessed One, sitting at a reasonable place, and said to the Blessed One,

- Ānanda, do not ask that! You should not suggest that the woman bhikkhuni ni, in the teachings of the Tathagata. 
Venerable Ānanda asked for the second time, the third time: 
- Dear Buddha, may the Buddha allow the woman to receive bhikkhuni, in his teachings. 
The Buddha taught the second time, the third time that:
- Ānanda, please do not ask that! You should not suggest that the woman bhikkhuni ni, in the teachings of the Tathagata.

EIGHT HAPPINESS (Garudhamma) 
Eight major measures are:

After accepting the Mahāpajāpatigotamī, she became the first bhikkhuni in the teachings of Gotama Buddha.
