"The Viet-period is rich, the people are crowded, they produce a lot of treasures, they do not bow to me, so bring soldiers to conquer it."

In the country there is a gentleman named Vu-amnesty [9]  belonged to Thais Tam [10] . Mr. Vu-amnesty:

"Yes, sir!"

King told Vu-amnesty:

"The Buddha is not far away. Bring my word to the Buddha, bowed his head at his feet, inquire his health, 'Is the body so peaceful? Is eating normal? ' Asked and paid homage to the Buddha, please bring my mind to him, 'Viet-big country, when easy for the king. The king wanted to bring the conquering army. Can not win? '"

Mr. Vu-amnesty received the king, immediately prepare five hundred chariots, two thousand riders riding, two thousand people walking, to the jargon. Walking down the road, before the Buddha, bowed his head close to his feet. The Buddha pointed the chair to him, then asked:

"From where did he come from?"

He said:

"The king told me to come here, prostrate at the feet of the Buddha, inquire his health, the body is not peace, eating is normal?"

The Buddha asked:

"Are the king and the people in peace peaceful? Good season or season? "

He said:

"Through the grace of the Buddha, all of us have peace, harmony, rain and wind, the rich country."

Buddha said:

"Are you on the road, are the horses peaceful?"

He said:

"By the grace of the Buddha, all the way to peace is nothing."

 Then he said:

"The king and Vietnam-period have the urge should the king want to conquer troops, destroy that country. So the Buddha's mind like? Can you win? "

The Buddha taught:

"People of Vietnam-period if the seven life preserve this, the king can not be won; Without this seven life, the king can win. "

The Buddha taught:

 The Buddha said:

"I tell the elders not to be sad, do not be afraid. If the life expectancy of the following seven Auras-do not come can not overcome you.

Vu-amnesty asked the Buddha:

A-nan said:

The Buddha taught:

"Did you listen to my king of Viet-period, usually harmony, middle-class mandarins help each other?"

"I heard in that country that my king was in harmony, the officer was in charge of helping each other."

"Do you hear the people of Viet-period together respect the law, understand the ban on the country, do not dare to abuse? [12] "

Lost:

"You have heard the people of the country together respect the law, understand the ban on the country, do not dare to abuse."

"Do you hear the people of Vietnam-reverent worship, men and women living separately, worship and worship each other?"

Lost:

"You have heard the people of Vietnam-reverent worship, men and women living separately, great worship and worship each other."

"Do you hear the people of Vietnam filial piety to their parents, honor the Chief, listening to the teachings?"

"You have heard that the people of the country patronize their parents, honor the chief, listen to the teachings."

"Do you listen to the people of Vietnam-respect for heaven and earth [13] , fear of social policy, serve four seasons?"

"I have heard the people of Vietnam - respect the land of heaven, fear of social policy, serve four seasons."

"You have heard the people of Vietnam-worshiping virtue, there are Satitists, foot applicants [14]  in the country or from the place of arrival, are offered clothing, bed lies, tortured instruments and Medicine? "

Lost:

"You have heard the people of that country worship ethics, there are Satitists, the apathy in the water or from the places to be, are offered clothing, bed, pillows and medicine."

The Buddha taught:

"Every country that practices these seven dharmas, it is difficult to harm them."

Vu-amnesty said:

"Assuming that Việt-period only practice only one, can not be fined, let alone how to practice seven law."

 Then he said:      

"Because the water is so plentiful, I beg your pardon from the Blessed One."

The Buddha taught:

"You should know the time."

Vu-amnesty from the seat to stand up, pay homage to the Buddha and back out. He went not long, the Buddha told Ananda:

"Come in Yao Son called all the monks up the assembly at the lecture hall."

A-nan immediately obey teach, to Yao paint the monks up:

"The Buddha called the monks."

 Take care of the seven precepts [15] . What is seven?

"Monks should often gather together to read the scriptures, the Dhamma is long-term [16] .

"Or in the hollow of the mountain, or in the deep forest, under the shade of trees, where the mounds, must reflect on the five things of destruction [19] , the Dhamma is long.

"Young learners, ask before the elderly monks, respected, surplus [20] , learn not tired, the Dhamma is long.

In the heart must obey the law, fear of the world, the Dharma is long.

Hold two hundred and fifty precepts, save the Arahant. Anyone who wants to learn, do not refuse; The fellow practitioners [21]  help each other. Newcomers share clothing, blankets, food; Sick sick must care for each other.

Monks maintain these seven methods, the Dhamma is long.

"There are seven dharmas, listen."

Monks obey listen.

"Monks are not ham. When is not thinking of others [22] , the Dhamma is long.

"To keep the pure, not compassionate [23] , the Dhamma is long.

"Sit with the gentle, keep the patience, careful not to dispute, the Dhamma is long.

"Do not expect people to celebrate. Teaching business people are not considered as a gift, the Dhamma is long.

"Understand little religion, or have talent not pride, the Dharma is long.

"Without thinking of lusts, the mind is not affected by the pursuit of good conduct [24] , the Dhamma is long.

"Do not take care of, often preferred to hide, take straw to bed. Monks keep so the Dhamma is long. [25] "

"Seven things, listen."

The monks said:

"Dear obedience teaching."

"There are people who give the material to others, not so start to resent hatred, the Dhamma is long.

To be ashamed, the Dhamma is long.

"Do not be lazy for business [26]  Dhamma is long.

"When standing, or sitting mind not forget the French business [27]  Dhamma is long.

"When sitting, or standing not tired, the Dhamma is long.

"When sitting, or standing understand the business law is the Dhamma is long.

"When reading, studying classics should read retrieve its deep meaning, the Dhamma is long [28] .

"There are seven measures:

"At the Buddha in the world as the monks, monks respectfully prohibited the Buddha's teachings, life expectancy law, always remember the teacher, the legal profession of the teacher, the Dharma is long.

"Dear obedience teaching."

"Practicing diligently, seriously where the body, speech, mind, action is not guilty, holding the direction is not difficult, the Dhamma is long.

"Fear that the mind, not listening to the six [33] , control the sex, anger, no evil, the Dhamma is long.

"There are seven measures."

"Dear obedience teaching."

"Monks must often recite the business, discharge of prostitution, often think of the way to liberation from the world. Must think about the body, the Dhamma is long.

Be respectful of fellow students, see your fellow students as brothers; Be clear both inside and outside; Outside is the fault of the body, the mouth, the inside is the fault of the mind. Think about these two things, the Dhamma is long.

"At the time to think for yourself: nine excrement holes filled with dirt. A hole in the owner inside, nine holes all excrement impure; Hungry, no, hot, cold cause us to suffer extreme; The body is difficult to adapt, is impure; Inside of impurities; Hot winds, cold winds appear outside; Are impure self-cover; Nostrils appear hot cold, the heart is not happy; If there is a foul odor, do not hate, not happy. Monks should keep the right mind inside and out so the Dhamma is long.

"See the people of the world, kings die; The poor, the rich, the humble no one escaped death, living in the same path of death. As the dreamer sees the beautiful house, the beautiful garden, the rich and happy, the time to wake up is not see anything. The rich, the poor, the humble in the world as well as the dreamer. Think about the world, like a dreamer.

"Bhikkhu-seven life expectancy, this thinking not forget the Dharma is long."

"There are seven measures:

"Monks and nuns [35]  must have compassion for all people, have compassion for the Buddha. People insulted, not scolded again, no anger. Keep the heart for everyone. For example, people in prison often have compassion for one another. People in the world should be equal in word to each other. Monks keep the mind, be cursed without being angry, calm not happy, so mind-centered, possible not worry, so do not dispute with the world. Like the buffaloes who eat grass, the birth of milk, from milk to create peanuts, from peanut to make bowl, from bowl to lake. Please keep the mind as a lake that serves the Dharma of the Buddha, can be long-lived.

"The tongue does not lie; Words do not hurt others; The tongue and tongue must be righteous. Tongue can not make people can not enlightened. As the tongue leads to knife stabs or leads to annihilation. Therefore, the learner must always say the right word, the Dhamma is long term.

"Keep your heart pure, do not think evil, do not think of sex; If there is lewd mind is not Arahant. At night sleeping that the mind of sexual desire to arise, think of the woman's obscurity, the fetish is immediately removed. When the mind of anger arises, think: "How long do people live on this earth?" To do so, the Dhamma is long.

"If someone asks monks to eat, other people do not think, 'Only monks are invited, but I do not.' Do not have such thoughts. There are monks diseases, some people bring medicine to give; Other monks are not so, thinking: 'Just take care of the other person does not care for me.' Do not think so. Some people bring clothes to monks, others do not, should not think: "I can not be alone, why do I have to go to ask?" When credit is put in the bowl, do not say much or less. Keeping such a mind, the Dhamma is long lasting.

Let's keep the precepts, careful precepts. If for legal knowledge without knowing, should ask the monks know the world. Please recite the Buddha, recite the Dharma and recite monks no more minutes of rest. Praise each other. If there are lice in the dress began to love for them, so the Dhamma is long-lived.

"When we see the dead, we say: 'This person is dead, without the religious life, the weeping and the intellectual are not know where the dead go,' but monks have achieved enlightenment. When going, when standing must always respect, offering Buddhist scriptures; Please recite and think about the sense.

"Monks [36] , the faithful, and faithful practice seven such measures, the Dhamma is long-lived.

The Buddha from the royal palace Ananda told Ananda:

 The Buddha taught:

"One is that they receive the Buddha's teachings. Two, away from love, come to the Tao without controversy. Daddy, do not lie, say weave, say double-edged and speak evil words. Four, not being killed, stealing, infringing women of others. Year, not jealousy, anger and ignorance. Six, sitting, thinking about the four suffering in the mind. Seven, thought the body is filthy. Eight, conceive of birth and death, this body will become land.

"The Buddha also thought of the existence of the four sufferings and their departure. The Buddha also said these eight precepts and the Buddha will also talk about the eight precepts. Reflect on the profound meaning of the Buddhist scriptures.

"The monks if there is thought about parents, wives, children think about the activities of the world can not achieve the liberation from the world. If you like the world, then the mind is not interested in religion. From the mind that has, the right mind can be enlightened. There is a right mind can be born in the heavens; Understand the business can be man. Get rid of the path of hell, animals and ghosts. Buddha for the galaxy that correct the path of birth and death. Monks should think about this. "

The Buddha from the neighborhood La-mind [41]  told religious Ananda go to the neighbors Three [42] . A-nan said:

"Kick of."

"If one can surrender to his own mind, not letting himself go, there are five good things. What is the year? One, the property is on a rise. Hai, there is virtue. Ba, everyone respect, at death do not regret. Four, the good news everyone hears. Year, death is born to the upper realm, full of merit.

"Do not let go of such good things in yourself, think for yourself."

The Buddha gave the sermon to lay homeowners, all happy, bowed to the Buddha.

"Kick of."

The Buddha again from Question-An told Ananda:

"All come to Hy [58] ."

A-nan said:

"Kick of."

"Go beg for food in the country of Hy.

Buddha told the monks:

So Buddha first told you, because ignorance should be born; The man who holds the word is not born again. "

The Buddha taught:

Think of serving the Buddha, Dharma, Saints, and Pure Land. Reverent, mutual understanding that taught the Buddhist scriptures. Think, keep mindfulness, there is no return to birth and death, no more anxiety melancholy. "

"Take good care of yourself, life expectancy of the five precepts."

Ananda said:

The Buddha said:

Buddha told false god Ananda:

Buddha told Ananda:

Buddha told Ananda:

"There are four things: self-respect, seriousness, seriousness, strict speech.

"There are four things: the mind wants to wrong, do not listen to, the mind want to do not listen to sex, the mind wants to do evil do not listen to, the mind wants wealth, rich and do not listen.

"There are four things: the mind should worry about death, the mind wants to do evil do not listen, must restrain the mind; Mind must depend on people, who do not mind; Mind mesmerizing; Mind kill the body, the mind to do La-drought, mind to heaven, human mind, animal as animal, bird ants, mind to hell, mind to pretend. All appearance shapes are made by the mind.

"Be worried, your body will grow old, sick and die.

"To sustain these eight things, serious self-righteousness, no dispute with everyone, is liberated from the world.

"Monks! Let's reflect on these eight things and the four sources of suffering, the Buddhist scriptures are long-lasting. "

All rivers,

All large waters,  

The sea is the largest;

All bright stars,   

The moon is the brightest.

Buddha is the eyes of the world,     

Supreme in heaven and earth;
