Sariputta, you are now largely resting in the presence of the Great One. Sariputta, the dwelling of the Great One is emptiness. Therefore, Sariputta, if a Bhikkhu wishes that: "I hope that I will now mostly abide with an empty abiding", at this time, Sariputta, that Bhikkhu should reflect as follows: "On the path I went to the village to beg for alms, at the place of residence I went to beg for alms, and on the way back from the village to beg for alms, at that place, for the forms perceived by the eyes, there arose in me. Desire, greed, anger, ignorance, or hatred?” Sariputta, if a monk, after thinking, knows: "On the way I went to the village to beg for alms, at the place of residence I went to beg for alms and on the way from the village I went to beg for alms back, for Forms perceived by the eyes arise in me with desire, greed, anger, ignorance or hatred", at this time, Sariputta, that monk must be diligent in eliminating those evil and unwholesome dharmas.
