The meaning of offering incense, lamps, and fruits to the Buddha's altar in the spring. In life, whenever there is a cause, there will be a result, so offering a plate of fruit to the Enlightened One is to voluntarily remind yourself to do a good cause to get a good result. The meaning of water offerings: Offering water is a symbol of our compassion and Buddha is no different. No matter how much water is boiled, it will cool down for a while. Our people are the same, our nature is pure, calm. The reason we are impatient, restless, and everything is because of our training. And if we are willing to let it be, it will be quiet, it will naturally settle, the water will cool. Don't say my nature is hot, I can't cultivate. Hot, if you know it's hot, you have to find a way to cool it down. Why is it that when the foot touches one, the hand immediately knows how to reach down to ease the pain? But why when my heart is hot, I'm not trying to make it all? Hold something that burns your hand, then rub it all over. But why in the heat do not find a cure, but keep saying: "That's what I am, whoever accepts it will accept it, if it doesn't, that's okay!" Thus, it is clear that we are more concerned with external trifles. Why offer lamps? The lamp offering is a symbol of wisdom. Why two lamps on both sides? It symbolizes that Buddha wisdom and our wisdom are the same. So do not (offer) a low tree and a tall tree. The arrangement of the Buddha's altar is beautiful and dignified and the incense bowl is placed to worship the Buddha. Why offer fruit? Symbolizes cause and effect. Because there is a good cause, the fruit is sweet. Then, when worshiping, we have to lift the fruit up high, which symbolizes that we are always looking for good results, good results, and growing up. In life, as long as there is a cause, there is a result. Therefore, offering a plate of fruit to the Enlightened One is to voluntarily remind yourself to do good causes to get good results. Why offer flowers? Flowers are loved by everyone and love them because they are beautiful. In the same way, we need to come together like a flower. But do not come together with withering suffering. But come together with their heart of fresh flowers, beautiful flowers. Besides, flowers also symbolize the meaning of life is impermanent. It's beautiful, then it wilts. Why burn incense? Incense, symbolizing gender. For the virtuous man spreads the fragrance. The incense we light to remind us to live virtuously, the virtuous people, the incense flies everywhere. Incense, also symbolizes the world, incense, and wisdom. Therefore, as long as you keep the precepts, concentration and wisdom will arise. As long as there is wisdom, there will be precepts and concentration. But if there is concentration, then morality and wisdom will be born. So there is no need to light three or one tree.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).WORLD VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST ORDER=BUDDHIST DHARMA WHEEL GOLDEN MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.17/1/2023.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.
