Carrying the body of the five aggregates is a burden.. Dharma talk about the Bhāra Sutra In addition to taking care of the body to be well dressed, we also have to take care of this body to be beautiful and happy in both material and spiritual aspects. . When we worry about getting comfortable and satisfying physical and mental sensations, we serve the aggregate of feeling. Invite friends to see and offer to worship Buddha Shakyamuni statue here. This body, the Buddha called the five aggregates, one by one, is the great burden of human life. First, to live is to take care of the Rupa Aggregates (body) Worrying about food, clothing, and accommodation for this body, is to carry such a great burden. We have been slaves to this body, to this aggregate of form too much. In addition to taking care of the body to be well clothed, we also have to take care of this body to be beautiful and happy in both material and spiritual aspects. When we worry about getting comfortable and satisfying physical and mental sensations, we serve the aggregate of feeling. Again, if we want this body to see beautiful sights and hear soothing sounds, we are serving the aggregate of consciousness. We can recognize these three burdens (form aggregate, feeling aggregate, consciousness aggregate) easily. The aggregate of form says: "Give me good food. Give me what I like to eat, or I will make me sick or weak. Or worse, I will commit suicide!" So we have to indulge in making the rupa aggregates happy. The feeling aggregates say: "Give me pleasure, or else I will cause me pain. Or worse, I will commit suicide!" Then we run in search of pleasurable sensations to satisfy what the feeling aggregate needs. This body, the Buddha called the five aggregates, one by one, is the great burden of human life. Then the aggregate of consciousness says: "Show me beautiful sights. Let me hear good sounds. Let me smell good, taste good...Otherwise I will make me angry, irritable. Or bad. moreover, I'll commit suicide!" Then we follow the instructions of the aggregate of consciousness. It seems that all three aggregates are always threatening us. We only know how to follow their demands. This obedience is a great burden. The aggregates or karmic effects are another burden. Life requires us to satisfy our daily needs and preferences. And to satisfy these demands we have to work hard. We have to work non-stop. Human activities are motivated by our volition, and this intention comes from the instigation of craving. These activities make demands that threaten us every day, and if these demands are not met, many problems, and even death, can befall us. When people's desires are not satisfied, evil will come. How heavy these skandhas or karmic effects weigh on us! It is also because we cannot bear this burden that we become immoral, committing shameful wrongs. Most sins form also because people cannot bear the burden of these karmic activities. The aggregate of perception is also a great burden. The characteristic of the aggregate of perception or perception is to remember the fact so that it can be recognized later. The aggregate of perception is a means of training such faculties as memory, knowledge, and wisdom. Thanks to these abilities, we can distinguish good from bad, and eliminate unwholesome things arising from unsatisfactory objects. If the objects of interest to the senses are not fulfilled, the mind will react and produce harmful harmful effects. Because they cannot bear the burden of the aggregate of perception, many defilements such as nostalgia, regret, insecurity, anxiety, etc. arise. For these reasons, the Buddha declared that the five aggregates of clinging are a great burden. “The Five Aggregates are a burden, the One who carries the burden is a person. Carrying that burden is suffering in life. To put down the burden is to be lost in life…” If the objects of interest to the senses are not fulfilled, the mind will react and produce harmful harmful effects.
