INTRODUCTION AND SUBJECT SUMMARY. Dependent Origination: At one time the Blessed One was at Sāvatthi (Sāvatthi), at Jetavana (Kydala), in his garden Anāthapiṇḍika (Level of Solitude). He called to the monks: O monks! World-Honored One, those bhikkhus obeyed the Blessed One. The Blessed One said, "Bhikkhus, I will teach you the Dharma-door that protects against all contraband. Listen and be attentive. I will say. Yes, venerable sir. Sutra summary: Due to not following rational attention (ayoniso manasikàra), the unborn or unborn cankers are born and the already born cankers are increased, causing the basic afflictions to bind people to the cycle of birth. death, passing through the three realms, the six paths. The Buddha taught the bhikkhus that there are seven methods for overcoming and abandoning the taints, and depending on the nature, the practitioner chooses for himself the most appropriate method to practice that will reach peace and liberation. now and here. B. CONTENTS OF Suttas I. Definition and classification of 'contraband or' 1- Definition of the phrase Sàbbasava – Sabba: Means all. – Āsava: Means gonorrhea, is the cause leading to suffering and continuous samsara. - Gonorrhea: is another name for afflictions (greed, hatred, delusion). There are 3 meanings as follows: The first meaning is to flow out. Because sentient beings in the three realms, through the six senses of eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, and mind, flow out unceasing defilements, so it is called gonorrhea. The second meaning is to save, to fall. Because sentient beings by it stay in the three realms, cannot be liberated, so it is called gonorrhea. The third meaning is missing. Because of this, one loses the right path and does not see the truth, so it is called contraband. – Or: is delusional. Due to the delusion that crazy the reason should be called or. Due to confusion with regard to the recognized scene that gives rise to afflictions, it is called gonorrhea. I want to be free from trouble, If you want to be liberated, you must surrender to this pirated part. 2- Classify the contraband or contraband or there are three types: sex contraband, possession contraband and ignorance contraband. - Desire (kāmāsava): Desire for the pleasures of the senses. - Canker of existence (bhavāsava): It is another name for the formations (craving, clinging, and being) leading to birth, aging, and death in the 12 dependent origination. There are sensual existences, material existences and formless existences[1], conditioned dharmas[2] and unconditioned[3] that cause sentient beings to suffer are called cankers of existence. - Ignorance (avijjāsava): Ignorance is a state of not knowing, not knowing, not knowing the truth of dependent origination, cause and effect, impermanence, not-self... happiness, sowing the wrong karma and then revolving in the three realms, the six paths. II. Explaining two ways of attention 1 - Yoniso manasikàra that is, seeing and understanding as it really is the truths that govern and form this world, such as the reason of Dependent Origination, Cause and Effect, Impermanence, Non-self... collectively known as Dependent Origination. Why is there a phenomenon of dependent origination? Because the nature of things is empty, (doesn't exist in any form, always changing). Because the nature of dharma is not, there is the phenomenon of dependent origination. If the nature of the dharma is there, then the dharma will be self-existent and permanent, without the need for cause and effect. But in reality, in the world, everything is dependent on birth. You should know that the Dharma has no nature. Practitioners need to see and understand this aspect of dependent origination. Dependent origination is the phenomenal side of dharma. As for the essence of dharma, it is emptiness. Emptiness is another name for Buddha nature. Buddha-nature is the cause, the fruition of the Buddha is the fruit. Therefore, ancient virtue said: "Three worlds only mind, ten thousand dharmas only consciousness". The Buddha called such a person "knowing" and "seeing". 2- Irrational attention (Ayoniso manasikàra) Irrational volition, i.e. erroneous, erroneously grounded attention to the truth. When a thing is impermanent, he considers it to be permanent; when a thing is suffering, is not-self, is impure, he intends it to be pleasant, to have substance, to be pure (beautiful). The wrong kind of volition is called perversion. The Buddha called these people the "don't know" and "don't see". The Buddha said: "Bhikkhus, due to unwise attention, unborn or unborn cankers arise, and already arisen cankers increase. Bhikkhus, through proper attention, unborn or unborn cankers do not arise, and already arisen cankers are eradicated. There are, bhikkhus, the defilements that are either eradicated by knowledge, and those that are due to protection are eliminated. There are cankers that must be eradicated by life or use, that are or must be eliminated by patience, those that are due to avoidance, are eliminated, there are cankers that are or must be eliminated by eradication, and that are contraband or must be eliminated by practice.”[4] III. Seven ways to eliminate cankers or 1- Knowledge helps to eliminate cankers or (Dassanā pahātabbā) - Knowledge (Dassanā) is seeing and understanding the truths that govern and form this world. - Ordinary people because they do not have superior knowledge, wisdom, and knowledge, so they often suffer from irrational attention. The consequences of not proper attention cause the six wrong views (micchādiṭṭhi) to arise. The six wrong views include: Wrong view (Micchādiṭṭhi): Concept or perception not based on Dependent Origination, Cause and Effect, Impermanence and Not-self. Diṭṭhigaharam: Wrong view is like a jungle, This is a misconception or misconception that binds people like a forest, making people lost in a battle, not knowing the way out. Wild ants (Diṭṭhiṭhikantāram): Wrong views are like wild plains, causing practitioners to lose orientation on the path. Diṭṭhivisūkam: Wrong view is wrong perception, binding people in tortuous arguments, useless for morality and perception. Dispute ant (Diṭṭhivipphanditam): Wrong view binds people in conserving their own views as truth, negating conflicts with other views, is the clue of attachment, contention and struggle. Diṭṭhisamyojanam: Wrong view binds people, makes them unable to struggle, it sends people into suffering and samsara. The text: "Bhikkhus, bound by the view of fetter, Ordinary people of little hearing are not liberated from birth, old age, death, sorrow, lamentation, suffering, grief, and despair. I say he is not free from suffering. The Bhikkhus, and the noble disciple heard a lot, saw the saints, mastered the dharma of the saints, practiced the dharma of the saints; seeing the sages, mastering the dhamma of the sage, practicing the dhamma of the sage, understanding the dharmas that require attention, and knowing the dharmas without the need for attention. This one, through the knowledge of the dhammas that need attention, through the knowledge of the dhammas that are not to be noticed, he does not pay attention to the dhammas that need not to be attentive, and notices the dhammas that need attention. … Thanks to him not paying attention to the dharma does not need attention, the attention of the dharma needs to be noticed, so the cankers or unborn do not arise and the gonorrhea or have arisen are eliminated. He wisely observes: This is suffering, rationally attends: This is the origin of suffering, wisely attends: This is the cessation of suffering, as rational attention: This is the path leading to the cessation of suffering. Thanks to him giving such attention, the three fetters are eradicated: body view, doubt, precepts forbidding. These dhammas, bhikkhus, are called cankers or must be eradicated by knowledge and understanding.”[5] 2- Protecting helps to eliminate cankers or (Saṃvara pahātabba) – Protection: That is, keeping mindfulness when six exposed six ceilings. Do not allow them (piracy or) to arise. - Why to protect? Because the six senses are the place where it can help to initiate the practice of lust, anger, and stupidity. Also the contiguous place to receive into the organ consciousness new races, which can cause obstacles to the practice and liberation; therefore the meditator needs to guard the six senses. – There are five types of protection: Protection by virtue, Protection by mindfulness, Protection by wisdom, Protection by patience, Protection by effort. The text says: "Here is a bhikkhu who is like rationally aware, live on guard with the protection of the eye. Bhikkhus, if that bhikkhu lives unguarded with the protection of the eye, defilements or damage and brain heat may arise. If you live on guard with protection of the eye, the evils or damage and brain heat are gone. He lives like a sensible, guarded life with protection for the ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind-base... These dhammas, bhikkhus, are called defilements or must be eradicated by guarding." [6] 3- Cut off by life use (Paṭisevanā pahātabbā) - As the rational sense of killing that life uses cause contraband or be eliminated. – Know less sex, be content with four items of food, clothing, shelter, medicine (just to cover up the nakedness, prevent cold, heat, and touch of insects). Mindfully observing the four items of food, clothing, shelter, medicine to lead to liberation, not because of the four objects that are bound (to keep this body from harm, to support the holy life). The text says: "Bhikkhus, here a bhikkhu, like a sensible person, wears clothing, just to cover his nakedness, to prevent cold, heat, and the touch of insects. He is like a sensible person who consumes alms food not for fun, indulgence, adornment, or self-beautification. It's just to make this body last, so that this body won't be harmed, to support the holy life..."[7] 4- Patience helps to get rid of gonorrhea or (Adhivāsanā pahātabbā) - Patience: Is joyfully enduring things unpleasant feelings about body and mind or happy to accept what is not according to one's will (unsatisfactory). - Practicing patience must be like close understanding. If you want to be patient without falling into a state of oppression, you must follow the Buddha's words: "Bhikkhus! What is the contraband or must by patience that is eliminated? Here, bhikkhus, there is a bhikkhu who has the insight of insight.”[8] - Thus, this insight is very important. It is the kind of knowledge that helps the meditator to let go of unsatisfactoriness, to be able to endure difficult things. – For example: Eat foods that do not suit your taste but must be eaten. Wear what you don't like but have to wear. Can't stand the cold but it's cold. Can't stand the heat but it's hot, etc... a lot of things in this life appear to be against our will; Practitioners with patience will gain joy and non-hatred. 5- Avoidance helps to eliminate cankers or (Parivajjanā pahātabba) – Avoidance is a form of avoidance. Conditions and dharmas can cause us to generate defilements. Avoiding wild animals: Elephants, horses, tigers, snakes, wolves, etc. These are unfavorable conditions for oneself, causing the practice to stagnate. Avoid the outside world: Logs, thorns, deep pits, cliffs, muddy ponds, puddles, etc. Avoid places: Places that should not be visited, seats that are not worth sitting. Avoid unwholesome people: Friends or evil people, if they associate, are suspected and despised by wise people. - Therefore, the practitioner must know that his strength is not enough to endure those conditions, and also do not create conditions for illness to come to the body, causing the practice to stall. So once the meditator is willing to avoid bad conditions, and get rid of the defilements, there is bound to be good results. - In the sutras, the Buddha taught: "What are the defilements or by avoidance that are eliminated? Here, bhikkhus, the bhikkhus, like the wise, shunned and avoided fierce elephants, fierce horses, wild oxen, fierce dogs, snakes, thorns, thorns, pits, cliffs, muddy ponds, puddles, etc. A bhikkhu, as perceivingly, has seats that are not worthy of sitting, places where he should not dwell, evil friends who, if they associate with them, are despised by their accomplices.”[9] 6- Extermination helps to eliminate gonorrhea or (Vinodanā pahātabbā) - Elimination: It is not acceptable for sexual thoughts, hateful thoughts, harmful thoughts to arise, eliminate them right in the germ. Eradicating is to make the pestilent family no longer germinate. Consciousness: Thoughts, ideas towards sex, desire for sexual satisfaction, dependence on desire; see sensory pleasure as the end of life. Mindfulness: Thoughts, ideas or tendencies to be angry, angry, or opposed to the object, expressed through profanity, rudeness, lack of loving speech; through rash action and impatient expressions. Harmful thoughts: Thoughts, ideas or tendencies to destroy or prevent the object of being disliked; to harm, oppress, and bully others. Unwholesome: Thoughts that do not bring the value of truth and beauty are unwholesome. 7- Practice to help eliminate contraband or (Bhāvanā pahātabbā) - Seven enlightenment factors (seven Bodhi parts): These are seven dharmas that have the ability to help Bodhi wisdom appear, referring to the master's wisdom. Seven factors of enlightenment: mindfulness, dharma, effort, joy, contempt, concentration, and equanimity. “Here, bhikkhus, bhikkhus, like the rational understanding, practice mindfulness of enlightenment, this awareness factor of enlightenment is far away, y is away from covetousness, y is annihilated, towards renunciation; such as the practice of enlightenment, practice of Trach, enlightenment chi ... (as above) ... practice of Tinh Tri Enlightenment ... practice of Joy Enlightenment ... practice of Contemplation of peace ... practice of Concentration of Enlightenment... This chi is far away, y is away from greed, y is annihilated, towards giving up. If, bhikkhus, he does not practice thus, the defilements or defilements and the heat of the heart may arise. If he practices in this way, his destructive or harmful defilements and brain heat will no longer exist. Hey bhikkhus, These dhammas are called cankers or must be eradicated by practice.”[10] – By practicing the seven factors of enlightenment, the mind is free from afflictions, and wisdom grows, that is wisdom, right enlightenment, redirected to Nirvana. - So the practice depends on the contract, that is, by the impulse of sentient beings, so it is not "immutable" but "depending". Depending on the conditions of sentient beings, there is dharma. So this part of the practice includes not only the seven enlightenment factors, but also countless other dharmas, such as now only - contemplation, first dialogue, recitation of Buddha, mantra recitation, etc. (Sabbasava Sutta) shows us where is the clue of suffering or happiness, samsara or nirvana. The problem is not with the perceived object, but with the tendency of perception. If the perception is true to the truth, then it is the supreme knowledge of the sage, free from all corollaries. Opposite, If the perception is not consistent with the truth, it is perception, giving rise to the mentality of greed, anger, and delusion, drawing people into the magnetic field of samsara. This sutra deals with the way that perception is not in accordance with the truth that creates the root of afflictions, defilements. The beginning of the path of practice in the Sabbasava Sutta is the elimination of the contraband or by giving up the attitude of clinging to one's point of view. When the attitude of clinging is gone, the traditional or empirical way of perceiving the self has no place. Thus, the lustful volitions, the angry volitions, the killing volitions, and the unwholesome volitions are completely absent. Enlightenment is thereby matured. "Long road for the tired Long night for the awake Long reincarnation, fools Don't know the true magic."[11] Because they do not know the true and wonderful Dharma, fools continue to create karma, because they create karma, they continue to reincarnate, suffer a lot. Want to eliminate the defilement Must know clearly: Know the right attention to see what 'not as reasonable'. 'As rational' is the way of thinking Causing defilements to not arise Again can eliminate Defilements that have arisen. There are seven ways to eliminate delusion: Knowledge and protection, Life, and patience Avoiding and eliminating Enlightenment is the seventh. Cut off thanks to protection Is keeping the six senses That is, keeping the door 'mind' When exposed to six ceilings. Elimination by using life Is knowing enough not to be greedy Four items need to use Bone to overcome the sea of suffering. Ending with patience: Severe sufferings Caused by people and animals Enjoy accepting without complaining. Get rid of it by avoiding it. Eliminate by eliminating bad thoughts arising in connection with sex, anger and harm to bhikkhus must be stopped immediately. Practice the seven enlightenment factors Directing away from greed, giving up The cessation of defilements Is the cessation of suffering. * Notes: [1] The Three Realms include: Desire, Form and Formless, which is synonymous with the Three Realms (3 realms). Because sentient beings in these three realms have (being) created karma that leads to the results of the fruition, they are called Three Friends. Sensual friends: The abode of gods, humans, asuras, hells, fallen demons, and animals, each of which depends on the cause and effect of karma. Form friends: The four jhāna gods of the Form Realm, although they have left the gross body of the Desire Realm, still have pure form. Formless Being: The Four Void Heavens of the Formless Realm, although they no longer have matter of color, are still subject to retribution depending on where they create their karma. [2] The conditioned Dharma is also called End? The conditioned dharma is the dharma that is still created, and the act of creating karma, which is born and destroyed, recurs in the Three Realms. The conditioned Dharma is impermanent, like a dream, an illusion, an image ... before and after, it will end, also end! The conditioned dharmas are born with conditions, and when they are finished, they end. It's just a "temporary pseudo", which is illusory: "everyman possesses generals, class, and hopes". Therefore, the Kim Cang Sutra advises: "Absolutely like the market". Seeing it clearly, impermanent, suffering, empty, and not-self should not be attached, should not be attached, should be separated, should be bored, to be liberated. [3] Unconditioned Dharma is also called Endless? Because the unconditioned dharma is the pure, quiet, immobile, Nirvana, the cessation of cause and effect, the cessation of afflictions, the escape from the Three Realms, the end of birth and death. suffering, emptiness, and non-self should not be attached, should not be attached, should be separated, should be bored to be liberated.
